Chose Rosini as our date night. It was a little chilly so we sat inside. However, the next time…read morewe go we will try going for brunch and sitting outside. Everyone was friendly and explained how service works there (later we saw the sign on the wall with the same guidance). Anyway, you check in for your table, and then you order at the counter-wine and/or food. We ordered the garlic knots, a side cous cous salad (but I don't think that's what we got- didn't matter because it was still good), the chicken cheesesteak, pepperoni flatbread and seasoned fries, along with a tasting. We asked for the food to be spaced out a little so we didn't have everything all at once at our very small table. The food was really good. The salad and garlic knots were super filling so we only nibbled on the other items and ended up boxing them up. I will say the flavors of the chicken cheesesteak were delicious, and I was disappointed to find it will be removed from the menu. The tasting consists of 5 wine choices and costs $18 per person. It's a 1.25 ounce pour and gives a good sampling of the wine. I really enjoyed 3 out of the 5 and same for the man. He had more whites, while I had all reds (and of course we shared. We didn't buy any bottles but might next time. Anyway we say several dates, a couple groups of ladies having a night out, families and one birthday party. As I stated earlier, we will go back and I definitely recommend. We spent about $113 pre tip.

Awesome winery tucked away outside if Rowlett. Who knew there was such a cute escape right outside…read moreif Dallas? I'm not a big wine snob but they carry a pretty good variety of wines. There are no actual vineyards at this location (well, there are a few rows out front for pictures) ,but the facility features a small restaurant, beautiful patio, and private dining/tasting. Highly recommend the spinach dip and veggie sandwich. And their flatbreads looked amazing. Definitely suggest for brunch with the girls or a cute date night.

It may be because of its location, because it's in a shopping center, but also apparently they're under new mgmt. So maybe they're just building the clientele again. Either way, it was just me and my friend and the bartender for a majority of the time. The bartender was kind and checked on us regularly. They have some pretty decent food on the HH menu and the drinks were nicely priced too. I am definitely going to add it in my HH rotation. I got the meatball app and the red blend wine that was on HH. My friend got the crab cake entree (not the app) which wasnt on HH but she enjoyed it. It came with potatoes and crispy brussel sprouts as well. If you're looking for a trendy spot without the trendy spot prices, this is it. LoL They also have brunch that they're trying to promote, so maybe I'll go back to check that out as well.

Unfortunately our server was pretty slow so we weren't getting the full experience initially, but they graciously extended brunch past 3 so that we could get our moneys worth!!! Great brunch package! They have pretty unique food options (lots of goat cheese) so if you're a picky eater this may be harder for you. But I Loveddd the breakfast charcuterie and the crème brûlée french toast.

Escaping the chaos of the Dallas Farmers Market yesterday (Sunday), I was looking for an easy place…read morefor an Uber driver to pick me up and stumbled upon the Eden Hill Vineyard tasting room. WOW is the only word to describe this little nook. I was welcomed by Sarah, who is a total ROCKSTAR! She is extremely knowledgeable about the vineyard, the grapes, the similarities the grapes have with other wine regions throughout the globe, and she is just as cordial and sweet (and patient) as can be. TY SARAH! I ordered a glass and sat down next to a very sweet couple. They had just joined the wine club and I ended up doing the same. Here is their "secret sauce"...THEY DO NOT CHARGE A MEMBERSHIP FEE!!! What?!? Hello Napa/Sonoma...take note of this practice and implement to further your followers/customers. Instead - you take home 4 lovely bottles and get 4 each season. You can pick the pack up at the tasting room, or at the vineyard. They also serve bites and Bellatrino at the market will deliver a hot, fresh Italian (thin) pizza right to you in the tasting room. A young man from Bellatrino came in with samples of the Quattro Fromage pizza - holy cow! Delish! (They also offer a cauliflower crust for the gluten-free peeps). Support these 2 local gems...you will not regret it.
