My first experience was throwing a small surprise party here. We checked it out a few days prior to the event, the day bartender warned that they do not have table service. Open your tab at the bar and return for each request. They were accommodating to our group, we ordered a few bottles and some bites. The food was served with in 15ish minutes & everyone was happy. Though you might request subs on the board. Some items disappeared while others were barely touched. Although, she wasn't our waitress, one staffer delivered all the food and brought coolers for our wine removed our empties. I wish more of the tip went to her. It's a little loud and some wine choices are limited but overall a cute, small town vibe, great place to grab a drink.

Beverly & Steve are THE BEST!!!! The wines are VERY VERY GOOD! I appreciate the guidance from Steve and the vibe of Beverly!! It was THE BEST stop I made and will be back! I was just going to grab a glass of wine and maybe a little pizza. Instead I opted to hang out at the farm and get a flight and a cheeseboard. Can I tell you that the prosciutto is incredible! I'm super picky about it as well and it was fantastic! The cheese was amazing the peppered crackers and then the sweet Ritz made it perfect for the different wines that I was tasting! I'm so happy that you were also close so I can come down here because I'll be here very regularly! Thank you so much for the amazing experience and amazing tasting wine! Honestly I don't use visionary very fluently but visionary is what I see here. I like it because you don't expect the wines to be so good! They are phenomenal!

The Bernstein's enjoying some Texas wine! Landon, A Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve & a Sauvignon Blanc.

The building the winery is in in downtown Wylie is oozing with history! What a great space to try some fantastic wines. Steve took care of us, told us stories about the building, the surrounding area and of course the wines. One after the other was a hit. So much so we joined their Wine Club - a really great deal. We picked up our wine at their location at The Sound in Coppell at Cypress Waters - another great space! The outdoor area looked great, we'll get back there when the temps go down for sure. They have a couple of cabs that are really fantastic. Their blends are superb as well. My wife enjoys Sauvignon Blanc - did not disappoint - as well as bubbly. We took some bubbly home! If you enjoy good wine, know that Texas makes some really great wines, check these guys out for sure. I think there are 6 locations and they're adding another.

We didn't have their food, so this review is of the wine and atmosphere. We ordered the Temparnillo, Pinot Nior, and the Texan. The staff are hard working and running around the floor like very tall Umpa Lumpas. The wines were very good, and it was half-price bottle night (not the actual name of the day)...so score! The establishment is an older building with exposed beams and wine bottles in wall displays. They have purchased the space next door, so the interior is quite roomy... except for half-price bottle night. You literally have to table troll if you want to sit inside. Next time we visit, we will try the food, which looks really tasty.

I like Landon winery. I've been to every location except Greenville. Each location has great ambiance and great staff. Wine is subjective. I'm not in love with the wine, but I always enjoy myself whenever I go. I always like to end with the chocolate finale. It never disappoints.

Nice space and great ambiance. I just wandered in and did a tasting to experience TX wine. Not bad. It doesn't have an aspartame taste in my opinion. You can order in food and sip some vino. Who wouldn't enjoy that?

Wonderful experience. This was my first time here under this owner. The decor is beautiful the atmosphere was lovely. Grant waited on us and was very pleasant to talk with. I appreciated the knowledge he has on wine. I ordered the Raspberry and my daughter got the Pinot Noir wine. They were both fabulous. I especially love that they let you bring food in. We ordered out while we were there enjoying our wine. This is definitely a do again.

Fun place! We signed up for the wine club. Not big discounts or anything but the wine pick up events every other month are very festive.

Ask the Community - Landon Winery

Do they allow dogs?

This is a winery and not a vineyard therefore they do not allow dogs inside. They do have a couple of patio tables outside where I think your puppy won't be a problem.

A very nice place to visit, share wines with friends and be able to have adult time and relaxation…read morewithout small children inside the tasting room. The policy is very clear and displayed that no children under 14 years of age are to be inside the tasting room. There is plenty of outdoor sitting, open spaces and covered areas for families with small children to sit, relax while they keep an eye on the kiddos. The owner mentioned that when there are no adult customers inside, small children are ok. The winery owners try to bring a balance to their customer base. There is a wide selection of wines mostly reds. And one can choose a tasting flight if one is not quite sure of what to order. I have been there when the owner will offer to open one of the wines not on the tasting menu for a new customer to try. The last review of 3/20/2026 sent by another person didn't mention the fact that 1. she and her husband came with 3 VERY small children who at first sat outside then changed their minds and went inside the tasting room. At which time the owner indicated the policy of children inside the tasting room AND also indicated that if there had been no adult customers inside the children would have been fine inside. And the owner wasn't rude about it. She offered several suggestions for the wine the customer was interested in provided a tasting of one of the wines on the tasting menu without a charge. While the customer requested another wine that wasn't available and purchased that one bottle. Now, how do I know all details, because I was one of those adult customers inside sharing a couple of bottles and conversations with my adult friends and having no kiddos around.

Everyone was friendly and explained how service works there (later we saw the sign on the wall with the same guidance). Anyway, you check in for your table, and then you order at the counter-wine and/or food. We ordered the garlic knots, a side cous cous salad (but I don't think that's what we got- didn't matter because it was still good), the chicken cheesesteak, pepperoni flatbread and seasoned fries, along with a tasting. We asked for the food to be spaced out a little so we didn't have everything all at once at our very small table. The food was really good. The salad and garlic knots were super filling so we only nibbled on the other items and ended up boxing them up. I will say the flavors of the chicken cheesesteak were delicious, and I was disappointed to find it will be removed from the menu. The tasting consists of 5 wine choices and costs $18 per person. It's a 1.25 ounce pour and gives a good sampling of the wine. I really enjoyed 3 out of the 5 and same for the man. He had more whites, while I had all reds (and of course we shared. We didn't buy any bottles but might next time. Anyway we say several dates, a couple groups of ladies having a night out, families and one birthday party. As I stated earlier, we will go back and I definitely recommend. We spent about $113 pre tip.

Awesome winery tucked away outside if Rowlett. Who knew there was such a cute escape right outside…read moreif Dallas? I'm not a big wine snob but they carry a pretty good variety of wines. There are no actual vineyards at this location (well, there are a few rows out front for pictures) ,but the facility features a small restaurant, beautiful patio, and private dining/tasting. Highly recommend the spinach dip and veggie sandwich. And their flatbreads looked amazing. Definitely suggest for brunch with the girls or a cute date night.

The husband and I managed to finally make it to Wales Manor for their last Music Under the Stars…read morefor 2009. I'm so glad we went, had a great time and will be regulars when they start up again next year. I also have tons of tips for first timers. First, CR 408 is really, really, really easy to miss (especially in the dark). Aggravate the locals and drive really slow or you will miss the turn. There was no attendent at parking (which is on the grassy area between the rows of grapevines and before the house) . We weren't sure initially that that was where we were supposed to park but it is and if you overshoot it, turning around (in the dark) is kind of a feat. They say to get there around 6:30 to get a table. I would second this and say also that you want to get the bottles you are going to want before it gets really crowded. They have a menu of wines available but people can sample before purchasing so the line can move really slowly (like 15 to 20 minutes). If you are going to get there later, definitely bring lawn chairs. The sound is really good but the least obstructed views of the band go very fast. The web site recommends bringing a picnic basket/food and that really is a good idea as you are sitting and relaxing, listening to good music ... it is a natural to want some kind of little snack to go along with it. Altogether great, great time!
