This is basically a convenient store without the gas pumps. The wine selection to me is not all that great just basic very minimal wine. They do have lots of different kind of beers. Only came to this place, because I thought it would have a wine selection....ummm no. Ended up getting a regular name brand tall beer that was overpriced. Would not go back to this place, only if it was a holiday and it was the only place open and I was in Mesquite. read more

They have a mad selection of wine and craft beer here. Yes, you will pay more money because of the convenience but if you dont want to search for that long lost craft beer you cant find anywhere, this is your place. The customer service here is great as well! read more

So my cat was surfing google, and being thirsty for real beer (even my cat knows the difference between real ale or beer than, Bud, Bud Light, Miller, Coors Light) he sent me down to this place. I really like the selection, and had I a better cat I might have found this place sooner, or if the mexican resturaunt was still open in this strip mall I might have found this place... Anyway, just like every one else has said, the prices are a bit high, however I remember I live in Garland. And when I moved here decades ago, I went to Tom Thumb to by beer for the moving guys. After 15 minutes I finally ask some one, "Where were they hiding the beer?" His response, "Garland is Dry. The nearest place is 9-12 miles away." I just realized I had moved to Hell. Anyway the Ethiopian guy was helpful, because almost nothing had a price...I ask for lots of prices.... I knew as soon as I read the label on that IPA 24oz, hint of peaches, catnip to my cat, a little unsettled at $12.50 for the bottle... however, I am getting ready to go to the middle of nowhere... I don't agree Isela's review... This is the first place you go because their selection kicks ass the last place you go are gas stations that only carry budlight and miller. And she said the prices are high and again that's because you don't go there to buy miller or budlight it's all "craft beer".... I'll say it again "craft beer" usually way better in taste and higher in alcohol content instead of watered down generics. And the staff is attentive and professional and last but not least if there is a beer you want to try and they don't have it they will in most cases order it for you which again is why you go here first. read more

The old owners were great, super people. As of last night I realized I have been charged more for my beer than on the shelf tag. This has been going on for a few months now. I just realized tax on $16.99 does not add up to $19.47. Be very careful when you get to the register. read more

Don't judge a book by its cover, this place is awesome. Just outside of Mesquite across from the Carter Softball complex is this gem. HUGE beer selection and a friendly helpful staff. Located in a strip mall looks more like a place that you would find people playing gas station slots but once you walk in its craft beer nirvana. A little on the pricey side compared to larger stores, but for someone who lives in Mesquite and a huge beer fan its the only place for me. read more

I have been coming here for 7-8 years and know the staff well. The staff is amazingly attentive, knowledgable and the store is always clean and organized. They have an extensive selection of micros and are constantly updating and growing their assortments. It's true their prices are higher than other big chains but you pay more to have easy access to such a gem right in your neighborhood. If you are looking for rock bottom prices and don't care that much about service you can find that anywhere. If you like a place with friendly faces where they know who you are and what you like,then this is the place for you. read more
