I dined here for the first time on a Sunday evening and was completely blown away, I came on a date night, I had been wanting to try them for a while, I was greeted by my date with roses and we were sat at our table immediately I loved the ambience it's the perfect place for an intimate setting. We ordered the seafood tower for an appetizer which included shrimp oysters lump crab meat and whole lobsters it was phenomenal. My day had to large lobster tails and I had the fillet cooked medium which was cooked to perfection, we shared a side of truffle mac & cheese which was amazing. We did a champagne toast and raved about how good all of the food was, I can't wait to bring my son back here I know he will love it. Everything was a 10 out of 10 I highly recommend Eddie's to anyone for a date night, anniversary or birthday or just a regular night in general the service was top-tier!

This was our first time in ever to an Eddie V's. The restaurant ambience was nice, very well appreciated and it was our anniversary and they did a special LOVE themed table decoration that was greatly appreciated. The food was pretty good, steak cooked perfectly, Seabass was great no problems with food. Where is came up way short was service. We had finished our appetizer wait for our salads no one came to take the plates. Our salads arrived and we just had to pile up the appetizer plates to eat our salad. Finally when we had finished our salads and had piles of plates they finally came and got all the plates. Even once the main dishes arrived we never saw our waiter for 10min to check on us. Comparing this service to a Capitol Grill or Del Frisco it was not even close. I expected far better service for restaurant of this price point. Probably won't be back for a while.

Undoubtedly great food. Atmosphere is top notch. And the service was outstanding. Our host was Edgar and he made us feel special.

Really Solid, Could Be Epic Service: The team was friendly & efficient. Food: Tasty, well-prepared, but not quite mind blowing. Ambiance: Fun, comfortable, and overall welcoming. Great band. Overall: Solid choice. A tiny nudge away from perfection, but still a win.

I just have to give an update on a new item I just recently tried. I asked my server what she recommended under seafood & she said the Parmesan sole. Oooo em gee! I swear I will always come for this entree! It was sooo fulfilling & you get enough for your buck!

Hubby and I visited Eddie V's on a Saturday for a double date because we were intrigued by the Cellar Sessions promotion, featuring a wine flight and steak bao buns for $30. To our dismay, we misread the promotion and discovered the promotion did not consist of a wine flight, but one glass of wine and one steak bao bun for $30. In light of this, we chose to order off the dinner menu. Hubby had the Norwegian salmon, which I rated a 5/5, hubby rated it a 3/5. I ordered the medium-rare 10 oz center cut filet mignon with mashed potatoes. This meal was a solid 5/5. My only critique of the night was that the martini seemed to be lacking in the liquor department so I switched to kettle one on the rocks with lime, which was perfect. Let me not forget to mention the Happy Hour specials, as I feel it is my duty as a money conscious Elite Yelper to let all my fellow Yelpers know about the deals, because......who doesn't like to have fun on a budget. :) Happy Hour is available Sunday through Saturday from 1600-1830. The happy hour is extensive with several options ranging from wine by the glass, hand-shaken cocktails all ranging from $9-$10, as well as appetizers and teasers ranging from $8 to $26. Overall, my experience at Eddie V's was a solid 5/5. I plan on returning Sunday to enjoy the Happy Hour. Note: My steak was so delicious, that I forgot to take a photo.

This restaurant is hands down a 5 stars. They excelled at the ambiance, the service, and the food. The steak was so tender and well seasoned and the Parmesan sole was crispy and flaky. The lobster mashed potatoes and asparagus were incredible accompaniments to the entrees and the bananas foster and tart were a nice light dessert at the end. Renee was an amazing server that was very kind and attentive. And in all, it's very reasonably priced for the beautiful night they procure for you. I would definitely return on a dime and try even more dishes.

we were here for anniversary/birthday celebration. And I was really excited to try since I have been to the one in Dallas. I was really disappointed in some of the sides. They were overcooked. When you overcook mac and cheese or potatoes with cheese the butter and the fat starts to separate. The shrimp were really delicious and the steak was pretty good. oysters and the butter cake or top-tier !

Our server, Ashley, was sweet and she took our order without any issues. It took a minute for all our food to come out but they were quite busy. They played great music and the atmosphere felt lively. Arugala goat mushroom salad : really good ! Has an earthy taste but balanced well with the mushrooms and sauce on the arugala. I think it would taste even better with some carmelized bacon. 18 oz NY strip with chili dry rub : SO GOOD OMG. Juicy, tender, medium cooked , the chili dry rub and sauce has a bit of kick to it but not too much. Just a warm mouth feel. The peppercorn cream sauce sounded delicious but it was just okay. Asparagus and Brussel sprouts: tender, flavor is complementary to the vegetable. The brussel sprouts taste soft and delicious, no weird tang. The asparagus needs a bit more salt and pepper but i understand why they make it this way so I'll won't fault them for it. The mashed potatoes: soft, fluffy and delicious. They are mildly seasoned which i think is a good balance of flavor. It was my man's mom birthday dinner so they gave her a birthday sampler of the banana foster, butter pecan ice cream and these delicious dark chocolate cookies ! I'd never had banana foster before so i was pleasantly surprised at how delicious it tasted ! Reminded me of a mix of chess pie, carmelized banana pudding with a hint of vanilla. It was soo good. I got the creme brûlée to go and while it was good as well, it may have been better at the restaurant while it was most fresh. Overall, it was really delicious ! 10/10

Went for my anniversary & we had the best service for fine dining. Once we were seated our table was decorated and there was a hand written card. Service was super quick too. Lobster tacos for appetizers is a must! It's cooked to perfection! My husband and I love the sangria. I also ordered an Espresso martini & it was so disgusting, tasted like rubbing alcohol. Everything else was delicious & even received a complimentary dessert!

    Three steaks.

I love Eddie v's restaurants. Steaks are very good but not prime. Presentation is awesome and service is equally excellent. My biggest complaint is the noise in the restaurant. We could hear everyone's conversation. There was a couple on a date and the guys could not stop talking about how wonderful his life has been. He told us about his parents and his divorced wife. We just wanted an enjoyable evening, but we sat next to each other and we could not hear our own conversation.

Fillet with lobster, and three filet medallions all prepared with different crusts. Mouth watering.

I lucked out and found this place; came there on a Monday night and it wasn't busy at all. Their smoking area was small, but laid out extremely well with leather chairs and a large TV screen. The humidor was also rather small, and several of the cigars were pricier than I've seen. Where this place takes the cake is the ambiance, service and whiskey selection. My hostess, Mary, was extremely attentive and provided good recommendations on the food and beverages. And regarding the whiskey - their selection was massive. Mary recommended a Texas bourban (Unbendt BiB) that was delicious. It was so good that I brought a bottle back to Chicago. Highly recommend this place for a cigar smoker looking for a good meal + cigar in a quiet/intimate environment.

On the plus side, if you're there to hang out -- slow service isn't as bad with a good cocktail. The staff were very polite and friendly...just a little overworked in my opinion.
