Me and a group of friends dined here recently for Weekend Brunch. We were the first to arrive when the restaurant opened so the ambiance was quiet and relaxing. We were greeted with a smile and seated immediately. Our server (Aria) did a great job taking care of our table. She was friendly and attentive, with a positive attitude. We did not take pictures of the food, but some of the items we enjoyed were the shrimp & grits, philly cheesesteak egg rolls, candied bacon, lobster spinach queso, grilled salmon Benedict and the hot honey chicken biscuit. All were seasoned and cooked to perfection. I highly recommend this spot for a great Saturday or Sunday brunch experience. Great job Firebirds!

The presentation of the food was was cute. The menu is overpriced. Smoked Wings didn't Taste smoked at all. The shrimp in the shrimp and grits was undercooked. I will say that the chimicurri shrimp appetizer was very good. The server was kind and patient .

Not a big crowed but thank goodness cause we were treated like royalty here at Firebirds Joshua did us right! He was so attentive and very friendly and overall amazing service from walking to leaving all was taken care off. Food was great and such a relax setting on a Sunday before work begins. I do recommend come out afternoon setting.

Every time I have been to Firebirds, I have been impressed. Their drinks are creative and on point. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is fantastic. Last night, my family and I celebrated my birthday. There were 15 of us. The servers were lovely, helpful, and so friendly. All the food came out at the same time. Nothing was wrong. Everything tasted great. None of my family had been there before, but I know they will go back. It really was the perfect place to celebrate.

Came here for brunch after church. The food was good as well as the service. The ribs were on sale that made my hubby extra happy and he enjoyed every bite.

Very disappointed. A group of us were meeting at Firebirds for Sunday Brunch. Their website says open at 10:00 on Sundays. But they were closed and did not open till 11am. UPDATE YOUR WEBSITE. This is unacceptable!

Food was great the ribs could have cooked a little longer to make more tender, but the taste was still on time. They had a special 21.99 for a FULL SLAB, so awesome deal. Service was great, as for the ambiance the place is classy in decor, so you can have a romantic date, or just bring you family for a nice dinner. I have the app, so I am. Always being sent deals or specials.

Great bar and god price for food . The steaks was cooked to perfection as how I requested and the fries was also good . Good decent reasonable price for food and drinks .

1 year later I have returned with my family and I was so surprised that nothing has changed! Amazing food and superior service! Our server, Aria, was the absolute sweetest and so great. My husband had indicated in our OpenTable reservation that we were celebrating the first week of my new job and they gave me a card that the entire staff had signed that said Congrats! I actually teared up a little it was so sweet. I wish I would have gotten the manager's name because she was also incredible and walking around helping out, taking plates, and just making sure everyone was happy. We are gonna definitely add this place into our rotation and visit more often. So grateful for an amazing experience

Our server, Reuben, was easily the best waiter I've had in years! (Fine dining included). The food was incredibly fresh and simply delicious! The ambiance was perfect... soft music, very clean (bathrooms too) and the decor was really well done! Best of all my husband had ZERO complaints! A+ from me! We will be back!

My husband and I, along with our married couple besties, visited Firebirds Wood Fired Grill last night and had the BEST experience! We arrived around 9:50 p.m., even though they close at 11:00, and not once did we feel rushed. The staff was incredibly welcoming, patient, and kind from start to finish. The food was absolutely amazing! My husband had a perfectly cooked, juicy steak, and I ordered the lobster fondue salmon and it was so flavorful and literally melted in my mouth. Every bite was delicious! They also made my husband's birthday extra special by surprising him with a beautifully presented cheesecake dessert. It was such a thoughtful touch and really made the night memorable. We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit. Firebirds knows how to treat their guests right with great food, great service, and a wonderful atmosphere!

I first patronized this restaurant in D.C. ... it was great then and it's wonderful to have this new, family friendly , reasonably priced, relaxed classy casual and friendly restaurant here in the DFW. I took my guys here for Father's Day and we all enjoyed the atmosphere, staff & food ! We definitely made memories here today ! And on such a special day for a Daddy's Girl !!! Thanks Maxx exceptional, genuine down home customer service ! The Fellas said thanks for the Father's Day gift !

Okay I thought when I booked that this was like a nice-ish chain place. Y'all I was wrong and knew it from the second we walked in. The decor and vibe are very upscale steakhouse. The staff we interacted with were all incredible but our waitress was one of the best ever. She had incredible recommendations and just was the nicest person. She really made the experience. Now the food. First bite my husband looked at me and said uh-oh this is gonna be a regular place now. We had the shrimp appetizer, the tomahawk pork chop, the Cajun ribeye, and the brulee cheesecake. Everything was epic- so well prepared, taste on point and presentation was amazing. The cocktails were delicious and fresh shaken table side martinis will always be a win. Check this place out. I wish I'd taken more photos but everything was so good the only one I got was a hindsight photo. But still pretty epic

Chicken was extremely dry but the carrots were amazing!

Betty waited on our table. She had such good energy and was super knowledgeable about the menu. I'd like to come back and request her specifically. My husband had the smoked shrimp and grits and I had the smoked fried chicken with lemon mashed potatoes and street corn. Both were excellent! I'm not in this area of Dallas often, but I will make it a point to come back. I forgot to mention my cocktail! I had the Honey Bourbon Limoncello and boy was it good. I'm a lightweight so I couldn't try any of the other cocktails but their cocktails all look delicious!

The highlight of the night was easily our server, truly one of the best I've ever had. Friendly, attentive, and on top of everything. If the review were based on service alone, it would be five stars. We started with the chicken nachos, which were fresh and actually pretty good. For entrees, we ordered the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and green beans. Unfortunately, the chicken fried steak was very bland and tasted like it was missing seasoning altogether. The sides were okay, but nothing memorable. We also tried the rib plate with corn and mashed potatoes. Again, it was edible, but the flavors just didn't pop, everything felt like it needed more seasoning or a stronger profile to stand out. The staff was great across the board, but the food just didn't match the level of service. Not the worst experience, but definitely not the best food wise.

I love the layout of the inside. It's open concept so you can see the chef cooking the meat in the kitchen from the main dining room area. There's also a neat, well designed hand washing station in the hallway that leads to the restroom. Overall ambiance is good with sufficient seating, though on the smaller side. What's different about this restaurant is the variety of meat dishes they offer. I've eaten at plenty of Brazilian restaurants in the DFW metroplex, but never have I ever seen chicken hearts, brisket, beef ribs, ribeye, shrimp and so much more in the rotation. For the dinner to have been $55 with tax (& me ordering an espresso shot) for the high quality cuts I am super impressed and certainly recommend others to dine here vs the other more mainstream establishments that are always advertised. I also really enjoyed their salad/hot bar...though not the biggest, there was a nice selection of sides to choose from. All in all I really enjoyed the service & food here and definitely see myself returning soon.

We're regulars of EG Steak up in Plano/Frisco, and I found that a much more ideal experience. PROS: - Brazilian Lemonade was very good, I was left wanting for more - Shrimp was available as an option, which I find unique for a Brazilian steakhouse - I enjoyed the picanha and the garlic steak CONS: - The atmosphere of the place is simply less formal than desired for what you're paying. It feels a bit like your local Italian joint. Tables are close together, full light blasting, cheap tablecloths and incorrect labels on the stuff at the buffet - Most of the meat we got came to us lukewarm. I only got one piece of meat that was hot - Our service wasn't very great. We kept getting repeats of the same lower quality meats we didn't enjoy, kept getting repeatedly passed up by meats we did want despite our green table indicators and trying to get the guys' attention, and couldn't really get anyone to come to our table very often. - Some of the meats just weren't good. The chicken, for example, was salty and inedible. I also found the texture of the sirloin very, very tough. The lamb was relatively flavorless. - I don't know how much of this I can attribute to the restaurant themselves, but on a Friday night, this place was littered with kids and large families that weren't under control. Kids running around, listening to YouTube videos on full volume, etc literally right next to our table. - My partner noted that it was my birthday, having seen some of the reviews about this place making it a special occasion. It wasn't acknowledged, not even a "happy birthday" from any of the staff. Overall, for just $15 more per person and a half hour drive north, just go to EG by Stonebriar. Definitely a more elevated experience for the price point.

The atmosphere is exactly what you hope for in a hidden gem: an intimate, six-table setting with thoughtful, beautiful décor that makes the entire experience feel intentional from start to finish. We chose the Dinner for Two, and it was the perfect way to experience the menu. My husband and I started with a generously portioned lump crab cake, followed by a perfectly charred Caesar salad. Then came the main event, a 24oz Delmonico steak served alongside charred asparagus, broccolini, potatoes, and a squash and zucchini medley. Every single element was exceptional. Truly. Lane has created something special here. Elevated, fine-dining quality food in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. It was my first trip to downtown Plano which is a nice quaint strip of bars, restaurants, and shops that reminded me of any of the small one/two stop light towns around my home of NC, even though you're really surrounded by metro Dallas highways and city. The atmosphere, the food, the service, was perfection. I'll do my best to describe, but if I was creating a restaurant, I'd tell you to go here, and that is what I want. The restaurant itself is very nice, certainly upscale enough for a super nice date night, but also casual enough at lunch time for a business casual outfit. The area itself is relatively small and intimate, I'm going to guess 10 or less tables, and a spot for a few people at a small bar. Right beside the bar is the grill where you can see, hear, and smell the food being cooked! The owner was our waiter, and just like the rest, service was plenty formal yet also laid back. He did everything how you'd expect in a fine dining restaurant, but also was comfortable in a baseball cap and laid back fine with having a conversation. He was happy to tell us about the restaurant itself, the interior which he built out himself, and was enthusiastic about what he was serving and told us everything about the meat and sides. It was great seeing someone so proud and excited to tell his costumers about every aspect of it. He alone would make me want to be a regular visitor. But then there is the food! Perfection! All four of us ordered the Wagyu NY Strip, so he just told us he would serve it on a board with plenty of sides to fill us up. We didn't even have to tell him how we wanted the steak cooked, he said everything was cooked to 135 and it came out absolutely perfectly! Quality tasty meat, true wood flavor, it was what I normally have to cook myself at home to get! The sides were great as well, charred broccoli (which I'm a sucker for, marbles potatoes, fries, all wonderful! The menu is not huge, but I think that's perfect. Do what you do well and you don't need a multi page menu full of random dishes. BAR-Ranch knows what they are and they excel at it! It's not cheap, but personally I'd rather have one meal of exceptional quality over multiple cheaper meals that leave me feeling "meh that was fine". Personally I'll be back and can't wait for another opportunity to try it!
