When you dine at Anaya's my recommendation is to check the menu on a blackboard that covers one entire wall. Some items on that blackboard are not listed on the printed menu. And for myself personally I picked the wrong Wednesday to stop in for lunch. There was no ravioli at all. And the chocolate cake that's looking so delicious in Yelp photos for this location, not available either. I selected the Herb-Pecan Crusted Haddock served with sweet potatoes and seasoned vegetables. My discovery was that haddock and cod look and taste exactly the same to me. Service was friendly and quick. No ravioli though and it looks so good in the photos.

This was my first time to this location and it did not disappoint. The food is simply fresh and delicious. Met some friends for lunch and had the shrimp nachos but with the dynamite shrimp. The chips are amazing and hold up well without getting soggy. The toppings are perfect which include cheese, beans, pico de gallo, avocado and sour cream. You have the option of grilled, blackened or the dynamite shrimp! It's just a fantastic dish. Our server was amazing and checked on us frequently. This location has a different feel as it is very open and they have Latino seating as well. I've also had the cedar planked salmon and a few other items at the Addison location. Be back soon!

Went to Anaya's by my office for a quick bite. I was tempted to get the crawfish as they are in season but got the Bourbon Street Redfish instead which was tasty. It was served on top of a nice fresh hunk of cornbread that soaked up the gumbo nicely. They heard it was my first time visiting and brought me a sample of four of their soups which was a nice touch. I enjoyed the clam chowder and the poblano soup. Next time i will get the fried mac and cheese appetizer cuz who doesn't like that?

My wife and I stopped by here during a date day for a drink and appetizer. We sat at the bar and I ordered a spicy mezcal margarita it was delicious! My wife ordered a blackberry French 75 and really enjoyed it. We ordered the calamari, it was piping hot, fresh and had both the rings and tentacles. Also had banana peppers. It came with a lemon dill aioli and a sweet thai chili sauce. I loved the calamari with aioli and my wife loved the Thai sauce. The portion of calamari was great! Would definitely recommend this for everyone. The manager came over and gave us free tasting of 4 different soup. They were all tasty but my favorite was the roasted poblano creamy soup. The hospitality was very nice and everyone we dealt with was attentive. They also have a great kids menu. We will have to comeback with our child next time!

Service (5/5 Stars) - Shout out to Ashleene, girl you're an ANGEL! Ambiance (5/5 Stars) - Laid back but very welcoming. Food (5/5 Stars) - Every single dish was delightful! If you're new to this place, dont be shy to tell the staff. They bring a 4 soup sampler for you to try and whet your appetite. The star winners to me are the: Garlic Parmesan Flounder and the Crab Mac & Cheese Cakes. But honestly you can't go wrong with anything here. The food is cooked to perfection and each bite is a savory, hearty joy to your taste buds. And again, the staff are just so sweet and welcoming. They check on you but aren't intrusive in the slightest. Our server was amazing so if you venture here, ask for Ashleene. She won't steer you wrong.

The atmosphere was very quiet and relaxing. The service was superb. You can get any dish prepared exactly like you want it to be. Their seafood and fish is delivered fresh weekly. You can taste the freshness of their food. The trout and salmon and their soup was so flavorful and prepared to perfection. They were all incredibly delicious. From the soup sampler, I could not pick a favorite as they were all very delicious and flavorful. This is truly a hidden gem.

Not to say im a fish snob BUT! I say I dont eat seafood if I can't see the sea its out of LOL. That being said WOW we were seated faster than the door could close and our waitress was quick in tow with menus specials and a drink order then the manager stopped by with a flight of their house soups beyond NICE TOUCH and I say they all were really good. So good I ordered a cup of the gumbo . Now I came for the catfish and I was not disappointed had the full Monty half fried half blackened fries slaw and hush puppies hmmmm all prepared perfectly. My wife gad the salmon cedar plank and loved it all set in a charming setting

We took my mom here for a birthday lunch as she wanted oysters. It's a small basic setting, but clean. The food was just average and the service was decent, but we were rushed to place our order, although we told them it was everyone's first time. The drink & brownie a la mode were the best part for us. The food was just average. The did sing happy birthday but in a flat, mundane manner.

How could I have almost missed writing a review for such a great seafood restaurant in the Dallas-Fort Worth area? Anaya's Seafood Scratch Kitchen is consistently superb. I return because of their consistently good food, service and overall experience. Entering, one is greeted by several friendly servers and a comfortably cozy atmosphere. The food was consistently delicious, with its freshness, flavor and perfectly cooked dishes. The high quality and care put into each dish is obvious in its flavor, from seafood platters and grilled fish to their specialties. Anaya's is the perfect choice for seafood lovers who want amazing flavors, generous portions, as well as consistent quality. Highly recommend!

Anaya's is a laid back, super casual, dare I say hole in the wall space. But wowsy, the food is outstanding. I had the ruby red trout which was nicely blackened and perfectly cooked. The white wine sauce was mouth watering good and the spinach and artichokes were a nice complement. I enjoyed the jalapeño cucumber martini. Not a bite was left from my table of 4. Can't wait to return.

We enjoyed Anayas this past week for our anniversary meal. We usually go to a very pricey steakhouse but this year decided to opt for a change. I'm glad we did. My husband had the Bourbon street red snapper. It was wonderful. I had the Ruby Red trout. I loved it! We both had margaritas. The bartender didn't skimp on the pour. They were very tasty. We did order the flan to take home for dessert since we e were stuffed. This I was dissatisfied and disappointed. I've had much better flan. Ty r strawberries on top look nice but overpowered the flan The dining room was large enough with the music volume perfect. You could hear it but didn't have to struggle to hear the person across the table

    Shrimp and grits

Fantastic dining experience. The food was amazing, the service was exceptional, and I was welcomed like family when I arrived. I just found my new favorite place when I'm in Plano.

The cheese plate had 4 wonderful cheeses and a number of tasty accompanying treats like figs and cornichon pickles. I would very much recommend it. The main souffle was kinda one note. The mushroom flavor was strong and I wish there was more cheese or some larger chunks of mushroom, perhaps some gravy, but that may be too british. I enjoyed this, but I will try another souffle when I return. On the other hand, my raspberry dessert souffle was delicious. Lightly flavored and sweetened on its own, the supplied raspberry sauce brought strong flavors to the pillowy souffle. The service was exceptional and the atmosphere here was outstanding. I lucked out and found this place; came there on a Monday night and it wasn't busy at all. Their smoking area was small, but laid out extremely well with leather chairs and a large TV screen.
