Went during restaurant week but ordered from the regular menu. Tried the crush and chips and it was yummy. Added the malt vinegar for a little extra flavor. The cheesesteak egg rolls were a hit I will definitely order those again. The cheesecake was cool nothing to write about but decent. They do have a great happy hour menu so I'll go back to that soon. Amazing customer service out waiter was a 10/10! read more

I had such a wonderful experience at Del Frisco's Grille in Plano during Restaurant Week. I came in Thursday evening around 6:45-7 PM and dined alone, and everything from the food to the hospitality was exceptional. I started with the Iceberg Lettuce Wedge with hickory-smoked bacon, tomatoes, blue cheese dressing -- fresh, flavorful, and delicious. For my entrée, I had the Filet Medallions with hand-mashed gold potatoes, roasted tomatoes, and bourbon peppercorn sauce. Absolutely DIVINE. The filet was tender, perfectly prepared, and that bourbon peppercorn sauce brought everything together beautifully. I finished with the strawberry cheesecake to go, which was the perfect ending. What truly made my evening memorable, though, was the manager. Unfortunately, I didn't catch his name, but he stopped by my table and was incredibly kind and personable. I shared that my grandfather had recently passed, and the genuine compassion he showed me meant more than he probably realized. Sometimes exceptional hospitality isn't just about great service -- it's about how you make someone feel. Thank you to the management and staff at Del Frisco's Plano for giving me such a lovely experience during a difficult week. Excellent food, exceptional hospitality, and genuine kindness. 10/10 -- I will absolutely be back. read more

The quality vs. the price is a little off for me. If I'm going to pay that much for a steak or prime fish, I want over the top service, ambiance, and taste. Del Friscos Grille is just ok in all three areas. I have been here a few times for work dinners. Last visit I had the mahi mahi, which was way over salted, as was the black rice underneath. I couldn't even eat the rice. And the pineapple mango salsa was sparse. read more

Walked in when they opened at 11am. Wanted to be seated. Place was empty. Said there were no tables available until the afternoon.

We went last night for our 25th wedding anniversary never having been there and we were not disappointed! Our waiter Mason was excellent and a hoot! Our filets were perfect and the onion rings were fantastic! The only reason I did not give it five stars is the restaurants website states a pretty strict dress code which they do NOT implement! I can see men not having to wear suit jackets in this heat but we saw many in jeans, shorts, T shirts and beat up tennis shoes! Seriously?!? If you don't have a strict code you follow as stated on your site, just remove it! read more

Was in town and finishing off a work trip and brought one of my team members here to celebrate their hard work. We arrived right at 5 PM on a Thursday and we're properly seated even though our reservation was not for another 15 to 30 minutes.Reed, our server greeted us promptly and shared in the celebration of my team member. We started with the cheese steak eggrolls. These are an absolute go to for me every time we're here. They're so good in the honey mustard just gives it a nice little tang. I stuck with the steak salad as it's my go toe and my steak is always perfectly cooked and the salad is always delicious with big pieces of bacon in it and it's always the perfect portion size. read more

We love del friscos grill. This is our favorite celebration spot. This year looked a little a different with our new third wheel. The manager was so sweet and gave us a glass of champagne for our anniversary. All of the appetizers that we've had have been delicious. Our go to is the ahi tacos. Steak and frites is our favorite dish. Same food as the steakhouse half the price read more

What a great first experience! From the moment I arrived I was seen. The hostess greeted me warmly and made sure I was seated promptly. I arrived before Happy Hour was over. Everything I tasted was delicious. I ordered the Grille Margarita and the cheesesteak eggrolls (I didn't get a picture). I did not expect the sweet and sour sauce to be so complimentary. Before I left I ordered the steak salad as well! One if the managers also asked about my experience, I responded "I was seen and that felt good." The service was impeccable and I liked the vibe. Will definitely be back. read more

Abigail was genuinely exceptional. From the moment we were seated she created such a welcoming and positive atmosphere. She was attentive, professional, and clearly takes pride in making sure guests have a great experience. What really stood out was her personality--she even threw in a few jokes that made our brunch even more enjoyable and memorable. It's rare to find someone who balances great service with such a natural ability to connect with people. Employees like Abigail are a huge asset to your team and a big reason customers want to come back. Please pass along my thanks --she truly made our visit special." read more

The viral TikTok It Girl dinner for $25 is such a great deal. I love the cocktail choices we can still pick. The Cesar salad was good, the truffle fries were well flavored and seasoned but it was a little soggy. The pasta flavor was there, sauce was more runny than I liked but all for the price was decent. We came early around 4 so just before they got busy for dinner, service was great at the bar (you can only sit at the bar for this dinner deal) and low dimming ambiance gave it a vibe. read more

I visited with a group of coworkers as we wrapped up a business trip. Our large group was seated promptly and had great service throughout the night. We started with a variety of appetizers - while everything was solid, the spinach dip and egg rolls were standouts. Great flavor, and the perfect savory starters for the meal. I opted for the salmon for my entree, and enjoyed it. It was well cooked and while the lemon flavor wasn't as bold as I'd hoped, it was still pretty tasty. Overall, this is a good stop for business dinners or a more upscale American meal in the area! read more

We are Landry's members but we've never been here. So glad we made a reservation for our Christmas dinner! Our server, Anthony was amazing! Del Friso's own Cabernet Sauvignon, Delicious Crab cake for our appetizer, perfectly cooked NY Strip, buttery mashed potatoes and asparagus, and apple cobbler à la mode for dessert that tasted like Christmas! We met the GM and told hi we would be back to try Sunday brunch soon! Very nice atmosphere somewhere between upscale and the everyday ambiance. read more

We were promptly greeted and seated on a Friday evening. There were 10 tables at most, with 4 people at the bar top. We sat in our booth for 10 minutes never had anyone stop by, moved to the bar. The bartender greeted us quickly then once she gave menus she didn't check on us and we had to flag her down. There were two ladies working the bar one never acknowledged our existence. Food....spinach artichoke dip was good, the bread with it was different, very light but flavorful. We had the roasted chicken and cheese burger. The roasted chicken was decent, mashed potatoes were bland. Cheese burger tasted just like a whataburger cheese burger with a higher price tag. I will not be returning. read more

Went for brunch! Heard they had a fabulous brunch menu with a Bloody Mary board. Got there and they were out of Bloody Mary mix! They were also short staffed and it took almost 20 minutes to get waited on by staff. Brunch menu was ok but not what we expected from a Del Frisco's. Unfortunately, we won't go back! read more

This is probably the second or third time I've dined at a Del frisco's and I have to say it may be my least favorite steakhouse chain restaurant. The ambience gives very much sports bar. I dined here last night and was seated quickly. Our server was very speedy. I ordered a cosmo. The appetizer list left a lot to be desired. I couldn't find anything that sounded really appealing. For my entree I ordered a filet, Pittsburgh style with garlic herb butter. It was delicious and cooked perfectly. My side was the macaroni and cheese and that was underwhelming. It lacked any real flavor. For dessert we ordered a key lime pie. One taste would have sent a diabetic in shock, it was so sweet I couldn't handle it. Overall service was great and food pretty good but I would probably mark Del Frisco's as a good place to order a filet for pick up. read more

The food is delicious but you can go anywhere for a delicious steak dinner. We came here for our first date 5 1/2 years ago. We come back a couple times a year and always ask for the same table. It was unexpected that they would remember us and be so considerate. read more

We honestly didn't wait too long and found spots. It comes with Caesar salad, spicy vodka pasta, truffle fries, and a cocktail from the list. So attentive and friendly! The cheesesteak egg rolls are so delicious. The best appetizer ever! The crab cake was also very good! My partner and I both ordered the filet mignon burger and we were impressed. It was sooo good! It's my favorite burger of all time now! The sides are a decent size. We also enjoyed the cheesesteak eggrolls, although I wish it came with a larger quantity as we were left longing for more. The pasta was decent but did not have much sauce in the dish. Dined there last night and the food was very average. Eggrolls could have been good if they were served hot, but they were cold in the middle so it was hard to taste. The wedge salad was probably the worst wedge salad I've ever had. The lettuce was not crisp, and there were hardly any toppings on it unlike most wedges that have blue cheese, crumbles, and bacon. There are much better restaurants in the area so I will skip it next time I am in town. read more

Happy hour was nice ! Wednesday 5:15 reservation for two. This was a nice little vibe. If you're lucky, you'll find a parking spot along the street. I parked for free in the garage on the same side as the restaurant and walked through the side alley to the restaurant. Zach was our server and he was nice. The host was as well. Happy hour selections are nice. The cheesesteak eggrolls are a staple. I get them each time. The VIP cocktail is $8 and very sweet. I don't think I would reorder. 3/5. the Rosé was nice. It got the job done. 4/5. Pizza was okay 3/5. I'll order the ribs next time because my friend said she liked them. great service and the food is amazing! The selection Is amazing. Also Aubrey is such a great server, super nice. 10/10 recommend

I made reservations a month ahead for 15 people. They had 1 waiter for all of us which is not enough. Service terrible , food came out 3-4 meals at a time , salad soggy , steak cold , and it was for my 60 bday. Such a disappointment and I will never go back. Also, the birthday dessert was a tiny piece of cheesecake and tasted terrible. Grocery store has better cheesecake. Don't eat here not worth the money by far. read more

I made reservations to eat here for my 14th wedding anniversary. I was looking for a more upscale spot for a very special occasion. My husband hates dressing up, but he saw that dressing up was required so he did. When we walked in it was so annoying to see people dressed in basketball shorts, baseball caps and dirty tennis shoes. I am a lover of crab cakes so when I saw crab cakes on the menu online I knew I was going to get them before we even arrived at the restaurant. We ordered drinks first, but after taking a look at the menu I noticed the crab cakes were not on there as a dinner option, but there was an appetizer option so I settled with that and ordered a side of creamed spinach to accompany it. The crab cake was phenomenal! Lots of crab meat and zero filler.... but I wasn't a fan of the cajun cream sauce that it was topped with. My husband loved his short ribs! There were so many fruit flies in the restaurant. My husband and I swatted them away from our drinks and food during the entire dining experience. Our server noticed (he was amazing actually) and offered us coasters to cover our drinks with. While this was helpful, the fruit fly problem definitely made our anniversary dinner less desirable. Our experience was sub par for the amount of money we spent. read more
