Came with my coworker for a late lunch. Upon arrival, they weren't too busy and we were able to be seated immediately. Ordered off their lunch menu - grilled chicken with 2 sides - and we enjoyed the food! Customer service was amazing as well! Will definitely return if I'm ever back in the area!

Cheater glasses. Only getting 14oz while calling is a pint...and charging you for a "pint". Same goes for the "Duke ".

4th Time there. Every single time my glass was chipped on the rim. Cut my tongue on one of them. And now they serve beer in cheater glasses that neck down and reduce actual volume of beer in the glass.

Met my grandson here to buy him a Birthday dinner. This isn't my "Home Base" Texas Roadhouse. In my opinion it's not quite as good as most of the others I've visited. However, tonight it was adequate to celebrate a birthday and earn a weak 4 th star.

Great service, they were packed but it moved efficiently! Food is always consistent at this location for me.

This location is easy to find and has a large parking lot. We got there around 6 and there was a 30 min wait, they have benches outside and inside to wait on. Not sure if they take reservations but I'd suggest u get on the wait list as soon as you get there. The staff are very friendly we had an excellent server answered all our questions . Brought their delicous bread out quickly took our orders and food was delivered pretty quickly. They provide a bag of peanuts at the table noose scouping them at the front door, lol. I got the chicken fried chicken with gravy on the side, sweet potato and green beans. Everything was delicous. Know we'll stop by again soon.

Looks good!

Texas Roadhouse for the win! Popped in for a bite and a beverage, it was quite busy this evening! When we first arrived, there weren't any open seats (at the bar) as they were quite busy, but we were happy to wait our turn. We typically sit at the bar, and the service is good. However, when Jennifer is there, the service is (especially) great! We listened as Customer after Customer sat at the bar and Jennifer remembered what they had previously requested for a beverage, and asked "is ??? what you would like?", how nice is that (such a lost art!). She also places salt on top of the napkin which IYKYK, keeps the ice cold frosty glass from sticking to the napkin (also a lost art!)!! We very much enjoyed the food and ice cold beer, and general conversation with the people at the bar as well as Jennifer. This is what should be delivered at all roadhouse locations ... and represents the brand very well! The restaurant energy was positively buzzing, and running like a well oiled machine! See y'all soon!

To go order area

I decided to walk up to get my order. When I first walked up to the to go order spot. No one came to the window to acknowledge me. So I walked all the way to the opposite side to talk to the hostess and let her know i wanted to order to go. She told me I had to walk over to the other side to order. I let her know I just came from over there and no one came to the windows. She then let me know she would call them over the radio. Once i walked back to the to go side I had noticed they have a mirror tint, you really can't see inside but they definitely can see you. I could make out the movement, and still I had to tap on the glass to get the to go order staff attention. This to go set up is not customer friendly, 1 we can't see our help, the customer has to stand out in the cold to order. There isn't a QR menu available so I had to get the physical copy. The staff felt the cold too, since she told me just come back to the window when you're ready, then closed the window... again, once I was ready to order I had to tap on the window again. If you're gonna order to go, call in your order. You can pay when you get there if you don't want to enter your info in. I think Texas Roadhouse needs to have this walk up area enclosed to keep their patrons safe from the weather elements. The presentation on the to go order is good. The food was ok.

My mac and cheese was gross. Do not order takeout. The to-go specialists will dismiss any concerns. Staff was not professional. The restaurant was clean, though, which is impressive due to the large amount of customers.

Mom has been out of the country for a year and one of the things on her "must eat" is a nice piece of steak. (She claims she hasn't had a real steak for the last year, or the ones she had were undeserving of any kind of praise.) What better place to have steak that in this fine state of Texas! We were staying with a friend for a few days and he suggested this place saying they have plenty of choices for steak plus they are generous with all their sides. We went with it. Whoa, this place is poppin'! The wait of people were spilling outside, so we all naturally assumed it'd be at least an hour wait. All good, though, because after checking in, I got the chance to take a look at the different kinds of steaks they had on their display case. (That might have been a bad idea - hunger pangs got all annoying for a minute!) I also got to take a good look at their indoor decor. So many to look at. A few of their signage's will elicit smiles and giggles. I found them a bit entertaining. Luckily, my name was called out not even ten minutes later and we were seated in no time. This menu is no joke: there is something for everyone! I went for the Prime rib (medium) with a side of seasoned rice and a cup of chili. COMPLIMENTARY BREAD: The bread itself was amazing: soft, fluffy, buttery, but the butter truly made it better! Seriously, they're just giving these away!?!? What a fantastic starter! CACTUS BLOSSOM: Very similar to Chili's awesome blossom. Made to order hot. Batter was seasoned well and battered thin. It was pretty tasty. The did elevated the flavor of each bite. Also a good starter. FRIED PICKLES: Not my cup of tea, but I tried it anyway. It wasn't bad! And it wasn't as sour as I expected it to be. My entire party enjoyed it - that plate was empty in no time. CUP OF CHILI: I only decided on this side because our server was nice enough to give us samples when we were seated. The side I got was topped with fresh onions and cheese which help with texture and flavor. I love love LOVED it. There were no beans (which is how chili should be!) and packed with flavor! Salt and spice level was perfect! SEASONED RICE: Like the chili, also seasoned very well and kinda worked as a palate cleanser to the prime rib, somehow. It was savory delicious. PRIME RIB: A little tough for my taste, but that's totally my fault for listening Hubbers' "get it medium" suggestion. (I usually get it medium rare.) However, it was still delicious! It was served exactly as how a medium prime rib should be. Regardless of its toughness, it was still seasoned very well and dipping in on the au jus made it better. Not bad for a self-mishap! FOOD: 4.5. SERVICE: 5. Our server (Can't remember his name - was it Nate?!) was awesome! His timing with everything was perfect! Absolutely no snags here. VALUE: 4. Above average. PARKING: Shared with other spots. It could get busy during the dinner rush. OVERALL: 4.5. What a great run! Mom was incredibly happy with her steak. She rarely eats the whole cut, and this is one of those rare times she did. There is no better testament at how good this place is than that! I know they have branches all over Texas. Will make a mental note to maybe make a stop on one of them should the next opportunity come up!

Ask the Community - Texas Roadhouse

Do you serve red wine?

No why would they.

How much is a Sangria Margarita?

They have a menu and I suggest to use it. Hope this helps!

Are the ribs baby back or spare/St. Louis?

Ribs are ribs.

Do you think you will ever add Diet Dr. Pepper?

Thanks for reaching out Tokyo and potentially one day. We have tried adding it a select stores in the past but just didn't have a great demand for it. Since we can only have so many options we had to go with other soda options.

I went specifically for their signature dish (the one they proudly call themselves the "Home of the Chicken Fried Brisket"), and it delivered exactly what everyone raves about. They take a thick, oak-smoked brisket slice--already juicy, tender, and loaded with smoky flavor and perfect bark--then coat it in a craft-beer batter and fry it up. The crust comes out shatter-crisp and golden, never greasy or soggy, while the brisket inside stays beefy and moist. That peppery burnt-end gravy poured over the top is rich, savory, and ties everything together beautifully with a scoop of skin-on mashed potatoes on the side. It's pure Texas comfort food genius--smoky BBQ meets Southern fried steak in the best possible way. I'd order it again in a heartbeat (it's a Tuesday special or weekend brunch treat, so plan accordingly). The rest of the BBQ holds up just as strong. Their regular brisket (flat and point) is consistently juicy, tender, and smoky with that killer bark everyone mentions. Sides and other meats are solid too--no weak links. The house beers are fantastic and pair perfectly with the rich, smoky food (the rustic, woodsy vibe in the historic downtown Garland spot makes it even better for lingering over a pint). Service is friendly and the whole place just feels welcoming. If you're in Garland or nearby and love bold Texas BBQ with a creative twist, Intrinsic is a must. The chicken-fried brisket alone is worth the trip--don't sleep on it! Highly recommend for anyone who wants great smoked meats, great beer, and something uniquely delicious

We ordered a half pound of fatty brisket and a side of Mac and cheese. The brisket was well seasoned and perfectly cooked. It had a nice smoke but it was pretty mild for my taste. We opted for a pair of 3 meat platters at $16 per plate--lean brisket, ribs and rib tips, links, and the mandatory sides of baked beans and potato salad. The sides were sides, but Meshack's is definitely about the meat. The links had good snap and the ribs were well prepared, separating cleanly at the bite. Both had a flavor profile pleasantly tilted to the peppery side (just the way we like it). The brisket had nice bark and pink ring, but the central Texas rub didn't really kick in until we had them for dinner some 8 hours later. We were happy with the food here, and look forward to another visit. Ordered Turkey, Jalapeño Cheddar Sausage and Mac and Cheese on the 2 meat combo plate. First off, that was $27 which I thought was rather high but with the hype I thought it might be worth it. The turkey was tender and juicy and rather flavorful, except for the end piece of turkey breast (I assume) with the skin side which was extremely tough. The jalapeño cheddar sausage was okay, but it didn't really retain either the jalapeño, cheddar, or the smoky taste which I thought was disappointing. The Mac and Cheese had bacon bits on it which were nice and crispy but the Mac and Cheese wasn't very rich or complex flavor wise, which I found slightly underwhelming. The sauce was super runny and while it had flavor, I never think having to put sauce on stuff to give it flavor is the answer. All that being said, for $27 I wasn't going to leave anything on the plate. The service I thought was rather hands off and I'm surprised nobody came and checked on us although that may be just how things are. The ambiance was cool with old license plates and pictures along with some cool western themed things up on the walls to make it seem warm and homey. All in all, I was left with the feeling that there should've been more and I was kinda disappointed after all the hype I've seen and all the gravitas that the name Pecan Lodge carries with it. I'd say probably a 6.5-7/10 so that lands me at 3 stars because it really didn't feel 4 star worthy.
