Perfect amount of seasoning, amazingly CHEESY....Green onion sprinkled ontop so if you don't like that, they are happy to leave it off. 2nd visit. I got the ribs again (thats how good they are!), collards, mac and chz (for the husband this time lol) and the kool-aid. The collards are perfectly seasoned with a rich dark broth. Nothing needed to be added, salt,pepper, nothing! My cousin had the brisket. It had a beautiful smoke ring and char. Seasoned perfectly. You can see the seasoning. Perfect mix of fat and lean ratio. She had the same side as I did. Now, to the show stopper.... The KOOL-AID! It was hands down the BEST kool-aid Ive ever tasted. I never liked kool-aid because it would be so watery. Not this! It was dark red, with a fruit punch flavor and just the right amount of sugar! Do not leave that building without a kool-aid I'll be back to try their other menu items soon!

The sides were sides, but Meshack's is definitely about the meat. The links had good snap and the ribs were well prepared, separating cleanly at the bite. Both had a flavor profile pleasantly tilted to the peppery side (just the way we like it). The brisket had nice bark and pink ring, but the central Texas rub didn't really kick in until we had them for dinner some 8 hours later. We were happy with the food here, and look forward to another visit. With delivery and tip, I paid almost $45 for two brisket sandwiches. I am sorry to report I was more than disappointed. 1) I got a chopped beef sandwich full of fat and what I think was gristle whereas I expected sliced brisket on a bun. 2) When ordered I selected delivery at 11:45 am. Delivery was closer to 12:30 pm. 3) the sandwiches were not freshly made. Obviously been made hours or days ahead. The pickles and onions I ordered on the sandwiches were limp and tasteless. So nasty that in the end I pulled just the meat off the buns, scraped off the pickles and onions and just ate the meat.
