Nothing needed to be added, salt,pepper, nothing! My cousin had the brisket. It had a beautiful smoke ring and char. Seasoned perfectly. You can see the seasoning. Perfect mix of fat and lean ratio. She had the same side as I did. Now, to the show stopper.... The KOOL-AID! It was hands down the BEST kool-aid Ive ever tasted. I never liked kool-aid because it would be so watery. Not this! The food is delicious. One of the best barbecue places that I've been to is around downtown Garland, not in the square, kind of about two blocks away from the square, but when I went, I had a barbecue sandwich, which was delicious. Forget about smelling smoke and getting all excited about good barbecue. It was nearly enough to make us turn around and get back in the car.
