I really enjoyed the American cuisine here--great food and a nice atmosphere overall. I ordered the French onion soup and the Reuben eggrolls. The French onion soup seems to be popular here, and as soon as I saw that buttery-looking pastry puff baked on top, I knew I had to order it! It was definitely hearty, with plenty of onions (which I love). However, it was a bit saltier than I prefer. I do wish there were an option to substitute the onion soup with a chowder, like clam or corn chowder. The Reuben eggrolls were surprisingly good! I'm used to traditional Asian eggrolls, so I really liked this creative twist. The house-smoked pastrami, sauerkraut, and melted Gruyère cheese worked so well together. So many employees lots people. All walking by us but took a while for a waiter . And they had just opened, not very many people. I had the steak frites. The steak was cooked perfectly has potential to be amazing just needs spices desperately needs some spices . The French fries they covered with paprika but the steak nothing Husband had the French dip , he loved it . He loved the bread said he was able to eat it without having to tear it with his teeth , some hoagies are tough , this wasn't just nice and soft . The meat was tender, not fatty and but held together such as you could dip it without having a giant mass of meat inside the sauce, it was actually in the sandwich you could dip it, eat it, but it was soft enough that you could eat it. Was loud inside and cold. Our waiter was so nice , up until he walked up my husband wanted to leave . Cause people that came in after us were being offered water and no one had said anything to us . The service is usually top notch. This visit I tried the Reuben Egg Rolls. The ingredients consist of Pastrami, Sauerkraut, Gruyère Cheese and Spicy Russian Dressing. I added extra Sauerkraut and Dressing. The dressing was amazing and these were a fun appetizer to share. The egg roll was unique and tasty. Also the Cajun Shrimp Pasta is another favorite. Absolutely the best service and food! I will go back as often as I can when I'm in Plano. I had the salmon BLT and the bacon alone was sweet and perfectly peppery! The salon was nicely seasoned and tender. The sandwich was served on a GF bun that was so soft it really impressed me. ( most restaurants just get basic bread and do their best to put it together and usually stale or hard.) I also had skinny fries because it was my BDay! They were so sweet sending a GF brownie that was like dark chocolate ganache and homemade old fashioned vanilla ice cream and a mountain of whipped cream! The lit candle was a very nice touch! Yay! My wife and I stopped here as stop #2 of our day date and it was a great experience. The ambiance was nice and welcoming. There were a lot of people having lunch there. We sat at the bar and the bartending was very friendly and helpful as it was our first time there. She let us try a bunch of different tap cocktails and frozen drinks. Where has this place been hiding? I swear I've drivin this shopping center a hundred times over and never paid any attention to this cute little place. My friend suggested it and wow! I'm going back. All I can say is WOW - after a long day my partner and I wanted some good food and good drinks, and fortunately we picked CraftWay. We came in pretty late (urgent care visit slowed us down lol) but were treated with kindness and quick, attentive service. I love a good frozen drink and the frozen Paloma did not disappoint. I ordered the crab cake on advice from our server and my partner got the steak frites. But we're amazing, but I swear - the lemon butter sauce that came with the crab cake is magical. Plus the brussel sprouts were probably the best I've ever had. You can tell everything here is made with care and the staff takes pride in the service and food. When I was here last month, I was brought to this location by the group that I was with, and the food was delicious. So when I had to return this month for some training, I brought the individual I was traveling with here. Great service from our server, Caleb, he was friendly and outgoing and truly displayed great hospitality. Their menu has so many great things on it that it is hard to choose just one item. Because I wasn't that hungry. I decided to go with a salmon bowl. This, in my mind, is actually the perfect portion sizing for dinner as it was a nice piece of salmon perfectly cooked and season by the way, on top of a small bit of cilantro rice with some tomatoes , avocado, red onion, and arugula. Sat at the bar solo. Nice place, good for casual dates or upscale family dinner. Ordered a terrible dirty martini that I returned. Then got a vodka splash of sprite. Also not great, tasted like the vodka was watered down. Got the French dip with Panko crusted fried asparagus. Sandwich was amazing. I went to lunch at CraftWay Kitchen today for the first time. We were a party of 8 and they were able to seat us fairly quickly. Our server was Gigi and she was great! Awesome personality, attentive, and upbeat. The blue cheese chips and spinach dip appetizers were a great start. I had the Cajun pasta with chicken. Although it wasn't very spicy it had excellent flavor, the pasta was saucy and the chicken was a nice large portion. The bread was perfectly crisp and buttery. The portion size was enough for lunch and dinner leftovers. My colleagues enjoyed their salads with steak, chicken Milanese, and smash burger. Everyone raved about their food. Sooo I went back. Brought my entire family for my mom's birthday. No pics, because- hungry! Burgers and fries- 10/10 from the college girls. Stole and few fries and instant jealousy. Ribs are very tasty! They aren't fall off the bone tender, but fork tender. Huge portion of ribs so order extra sauce. I got the chili brussell sprouts instead of mac and cheese. We were in from out of town and met some friends at Craftway for dinner. We arrived after they did and they had opted to sit on the outdoor patio, which is heated. I am so glad they did, it was quieter outside than inside so we could have a nice conversation. My only gripe, is that the space heaters were quite HOT, and right on your face. I can see why Craftway has so many positive reviews. However, after visiting many times in the past few years I would honestly would give it 3 1/2 stars. Here's what I like: I like the overall energy, it's warm and friendly and service is good. I like the cocktails and wine list. I did enjoy my entree which was the steak salad. Steak was cooked exactly as I ordered and was tasty. What I think is a miss-the salmon is consistently overcooked. Not a lot, maybe a couple of minutes but in those minutes salmon goes from juicy to dry. Another miss for me is the noise level-it is SO hard to have a conversation here! My ears were still ringing after I left the restaurant. This really affects my enjoyment level. read more

So it's been over a year since I was here and I love the new changes. They now dim the lights and we went around 7pm. There are no words for how delicious this food is and I haven't had anything bad yet. That salmon bowl is a must and I never order salmon out at restaurants but it was highly recommend by our server Brandon. Brandon was very attentive and even switched out my glass half way through my drink to keep it cold. Very, very disappointing. I've never had a Reuben sandwich with pastrami sliced very thick. Why would the meat not be thinly sliced, as it should be. Each bite would pull the entire slice out. Crazy! Tender? No. Not at all. The Old Fashions? One frozen and one regular? OUTSTANDING. My message to the restaurant- Change the way you slice the pastrami. Wow this place is pretty incredible! They have such a varied menu from pastrami and chicken sandwich to more elevated offerings like filet and beef Wellington. It's like casual fine dining as my husband says. The vibe is nice and the service is really good. We enjoyed pretty much everything but the only issue of the night was the pork chops. They were way too salty and too tough. They did offer to remake or make a different entree and eventually they comped us for that. The front house manager even came to speak to us which shows intentionality and a commitment to maintaining high standards. They were very apologetic and noted that they will pass that comment on. They also have a patio for those who wish to dine outside. We were seated inside within 5 minutes. We were greeted by a cheerful server named Logan. Our best description of this restaurant decor is it is an upscale Chili's. We wanted a light meal, so we ordered Cajun pasta, spinach dip, crab stuffed mushrooms and a pineapple martini. Overall, the food was good. The food is pricey for what is offered on the menu. I would classify the food as average in comparison to the same type of offerings with area competing restaurants.
