We actually found this place due to blind luck and in glad we did. Originally we were supposed to go to dinner in downtown, but the restaurant messed up our reservation. Glad they did, so we could come here instead. When we got there it wasn't too busy, so we were able to get seated quickly. We ended up getting a bunch of tapas and everything we got reminded us of our trip to Barcelona. Granted it was a lot cheaper in Barcelona, but the different dishes felt fairly authentic. Out of all the dishes I truly enjoyed the garlic shrimp and the beet dish. Also you can't go wrong with the tomato bread. Lastly, get the sangria if you drink. Service was also great and they stopped by ever so often to check in on us. They also have the option to eat outside... Considering it was fairly cold we opted to eat inside. The only major con about this place is the parking. I know it's now their fault, but during peak hours it's very difficult to find street parking. Off the bat, really enjoy the diverse menu at si tapas. We ordered about seven plates and they were all decent, the bread was fantastic. Our main concerns were that, none of the dishes really stood out from an ingredients standpoint. Food seemed kind of bland and not memorable. THE RUDEST WAITER I have ever come across. He completely ruined my first time here. We walked in here for the first time and the waiter that was up front was incredibly dismissive. I understand a FIFA match had just ended and they were clearing tables but the way in which he spoke to us was as if it was our fault that such a large crowd had been in there. He made us feel as though we were a burden and dismissed us. He never said if we would like to wait at the bar and get a beer, we had to ask if it was ok to get a beer at the bar and he huffed and puffed as if we were inconveniencing him. Our server Eduardo was friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. We went with the patatas bravas and bocquerones (marinated anchovies). The food was as delicious as the Madrid versions we had, and we were very happy. I went here for a friends birthday celebration one Wednesday night. It is a converted house so parking is sparse since it is street parking only but it has an intimate ambiance to it. I would recommend taking an Uber/Lyft which would be the easiest. I tried a few different options, Croquetas $11.00, Montaditos $10.00, Atun A La Plancha $13.00, Chuletas $19.00, Carne $15.00 and Vientre de Cerdo Frito $14.00. The Croquetas come with 6 pcs and had perfectly crisp breading with creamy cheese inside, the only thing that I would gripe on was the size of the meat inside was tiny. For the Montaditos, you choose 3 out of the 5 options they have. I went with Sobrasada (Mallorcan style Sausage), Crema de Cabrales and Salmon Ahumado (smoked salmon). The menu says the bread is toasted but my 3 definitely weren't. I liked the salmon one but it is literally a 2 bite piece of bread with salmon on top, same with the sausage and cheese. I would skip these for the cost. The Atun A La Plancha was seared tuna with a black pepper crust, this was good, kind of bland though. The Chuletas is baby lamb chops and these were cooked perfectly, very tender and tasty. The Carne was NY stirp loin tartar and was good enough. The Vientre was fried pork belly with a dark chocolate sauce which had real good pieces and some not so great pieces. Depended on if the piece was jsut fat versus actual meat. I thought the sauce pairing was weird but you can't taste the sauce at all. I did get to try some of the rice from the Paella Mixta but it was kind of bland and I thought it was interesting how they have friend chicken wings for the chicken part lol. The service was great especially for our server being solo for the beginning of the night for our very large party. He had some more help show up as the night went on. We ordered the gambas, patatas bravas, baby shark, steak with Dijon (everyone raved about it in the reviews), octopus, lamb chops 2x, cauliflower with manchego, sangria. It was a wonderful evening on the patio, except the service was SO slow for everyone and the main waitress had a terrible attitude. Did not greet us, forgot to put in an order (which is fine if you're at least friendly), would come out to the patio to talk to one table then go back inside each time. Just not very well trained I suppose. Lastly, all of the food is just okay. The shrimp and lamb are cooked perfectly, I would order those for sure! Octopus is the worst I've ever had, they slice it flimsy thin and you don't get to enjoy the texture. It doesn't taste like anything but olive oil too. Sangria is good I suppose. What a lovely place. We dined here 9-10pm on Valentine's Day. It has a very moody and candlelit atmosphere which was perfect. Outdoor seating available. We loved the pitcher of sangria and confirmed that we could buy one to go! Another favorite aspect was the tapas vibe. There are many $10 options and it was perfect for sharing on Valentine's Day. When I arrived at the restaurant, I noticed they did not have a parking lot, which can be inconvenient during rush hours. However, we were lucky to find a spot on the street close to the place. The food, the service, the atmosphere, and the wine are exceptional. We had paella for two, and it was more than enough. We ordered a slew of tapas followed by paella and dessert and were satisfied with EVERY dish; no exaggeration. The food is fresh, flavorful, and very authentic. Incredibly reminiscent of dishes I had when I lived in Spain. We tried the garlic shrimp, patatas bravas, croquettes, bread with tomato, Spanish omelette, mussels, octopus, cauliflower, beet salad, seafood paella, and crème brûlée. The paella was outstanding. For cocktails I recommend the Pisco Sour Martini. Bottles of wine are very reasonably priced- we had a nice bottle of Tempranillo. This restaurant is a MUST VISIT if you are seasoned in Spanish cuisine, as well as if you are a novice and will be trying it for the first time...you are guaranteed to leave "wow-ed." This place is amazing. I cannot wait to go again and try other tapas and the paella. My husband and I were having date night and around 8:30ish Saturday night we wanted some Spanish tapas. We were in dallas so I knew about this place so we checked it out. We arrived there and parking can be tricky but we were lucky enough and found a spot on the school's parking lot near the restaurant. We walked in and it didn't looked packed but it was lol. The server told us the wait was around 20mins and he was right! We stayed at the bar and I had a Cava and my husband tried the sangria and we both liked them. After 20mins they sat us down. We jokingly said we were starving and they took our 1st order right away. The service was phenomenal! We started with croquetas and montaditos. The croquettes were 3 with jamon serrano and 3 with manchego cheese. WOW!! Sooo good! Crispy on the outside and heaven on the inside!! The montaditos are toast with your choice of 3 different toppings. We had the tomato marmalade, which was the waiter's recommendation, and both my husband and I had a tear coming down our cheeks after trying this jelly/marmalade deliciousness. I had never tried tomato marmalade. Like what?? You have to try this. Next time I am getting all 3 toasts with that marmalade. The other 2 had the cheese, kind of like a blue cheese, and the 3rd had the smoked salmon. They were all good but I was upset I had to share the tomato marmalade with my husband hahaha. They brought free bread to the table and even that bread was delicious. It reminded us of our bread in Puerto Rico. By this time I was already getting full which sucked because I wanted to try more plates but I couldn't. So we ordered the patatas bravas con chorizo and the fall off the bones spare ribs (costillas). The ribs! The ribs! THE RIBS!!! We love pork so the fact that these ribs were not only falling off the bones they were also juicy, flavorful and exquisite. They weren't over-seasoned nor bland they were simply perfect. The potatoes were also heavenly! Especially with the chorizo's spicy/peppery flavor. My husband had their estrella dark beer and enjoyed it. The prices are excellent also because for tapas they actually serve a lot of food. Plus whenever I have appetizing and exquisite food I don't care paying a lot because it's worth it. All ingredients were cooked separately and then combined together so the seafood flavor or the flavor of the sofrito was not there. The mussels were raw, and coated in cheap olive oil. This restaurant is located in a cute little house and we absolutely loved the vibes :) So here is a review of everything we ordered: Cauliflower - this was under the vegetable tapas section. It's mixed with manchego cheese and it kind of gave a fancy mac n cheese vibe. I absolutely loved this dish! It was super flavorful and delicious Mollejas (sweetbread) - this was made with lemon and capers. Personally think they cut it up a little too small which enhanced the saltiness, but other people may like this better!! Pulpo (octopus)- the olive oil used for this dish was so delicious! the potatoes under were a perfect pairing Paella mixta- this has a mix of seafood and meat. Their portion for the toppings were amazing!! I loved the chicken and the shrimp! The addition of the calamari and the pork were perfect also. Although they did not have the crispy bottom like a lot of Paellas, it was still very delicious and flavorful! Overall, everything (except the Paella) was a little too salty for us, but the flavors were still there and it was still very tasty!
