This is a great restaurant. Not a single scrap of food was left over by the end of the night. The yellow beet salad was superb and changed my view of beets, the spicy feta dip was warm and extremely flavorful, and the tuna tartare was fresh and combined well with the grapes. The entrees were excellent. The pasta was super citrusy and the fennel sausage was very yummy. The brisket was tender and the turkey meatballs were delicious as well. The service was okay but the ambiance was really nice. I liked being able to see into the kitchen and the warm/cozy dining area set a nice mood. I think the price is a little high here. This dinner was almost $200. But if you want excellent food, definitely give it a try. read more

We started with the Tirokafteri, Heirloom Carrots, and Octopus. The Tirokafteri and carrots were my favorites -- both were packed with flavor and beautifully prepared. For mains, we ordered the Grilled Lamb Chops, Chicken Shawarma Bowl, Orecchiette, and Campanelle. The chicken shawarma was solid, but the Campanelle was my standout -- incredibly flavorful and the dish I'd definitely order again. My husband and I celebrated his birthday at Sashay in Dallas, and it was nothing short of exceptional. What truly impressed me was how beautifully the staff handled my dietary restrictions. Most of the menu is naturally gluten-free and dairy-free, which already felt like such a gift, but even the dishes that did contain gluten or dairy were thoughtfully explained and easily adjusted so I could enjoy everything without worry. It's rare to feel this understood in a restaurant, and Sashay absolutely delivered. Came here with friends for a date night. Loved the decor inside. Our waiter was decent, he did just walk off a few times while my husband and friend were ordering drinks. It's like he took ours and they paused to order and he walked off. It happened three or so times. Menu had a nice variety. We got the chicken bites and the roasted cauliflower to start; both were really well executed. I was honestly shocked at how good the chicken bites were. That's a generic dish normally; but here it's very good. I ordered the steak frites, my husband the lamb and our friends got the brick chicken. The steak frites were nice, loved the fries, the lamb was a tad disappointing, there was a flavor that didn't merry very well. Overall our experience was good, service was ok. Not really sure if I'd go out of my way to come to Dallas again for this restaurant; but glad we gave it a try. read more

The food is good but kinda pricey... The standout from the dishes we ordered was the Grilled Lamb Chops. These were cooked perfectly. The Octopus and Bucatini were good as well. The Ceviche was too sour, need to cut back on the citrus juice. The restaurant has a nice intimate atmosphere. But the front parking lot is small and a tight squeeze for most vehicles. Had really high hopes for this place. Reviews looked promising, food pictures looked good... but we left feeling like we got bamboozled. We got greeted by the hostess immediately, and she walked us up to our booth. Our server came, good energy, polite, friendly & observant. He saw us looking over the wine list & mentioned it wasn't a "busy night" and would pour us a red to try. Most of the wines are Lebanese or Greek, so we for sure weren't familiar with the names. Based on the taste, we got two glasses of what he recommended. When we received our check, a glass was 33$! That's 66$ for two glasses of mediocre wine less than 40$/ bottle @ Total Wine (yes, we looked it up!). I think as a server, if you're offering customers a taste- you should ask for a price point in addition to what varietals we enjoy. Don't get me wrong, we can afford 33$ but, to feel like we got cheated into it, doesn't feel good. We ordered a few things from each section: Snacks: Tirokafteri 14.50 Cold Mezze: Yellow Beets 17.50 Warm Mezze: Roasted Cauliflower 17.50, Octopus 23.25 Mediterranean Specialities: Eggplant Schnitzel 25.50 Food was below mediocre. Spicy feta dip & beets were the only dishes we tolerated. Pita bread came out hot, dip was warm but a bit too much olive oil drizzle. Yellow beets were tasty, it sat on a bed of red beet puree and sprinkles of pistachios. Roasted Cauliflower wasn't impressive. Came out barely warm, and the hummus that it sat on was all too oily. Octopus was a bust, cold and the xato sauce was extremely fishy, reminded me of Vietnamese fish sauce. Eggplant was barely warm, arugula had salt poured over it. Very disappointing experience, unfortunately. Not worth the price point- got all mediocre vegetarian dishes and left with a 230$ bill. read more

Walked in on a Monday night, place was not crowded but they only offered us bar seating. ? Drinks were great. Food was fine. Not worth the $$$, it was a pretty expensive date night for us. The pasta was just really simple, something I could make at home. The stuffed peppers tasted like something I'd get out of a deli counter. The broccolini was thrown together like an afterthought. Didn't care for the dessert (the pistachio tart). The highlight was absolutely the Fatteh, delicious and flavorful and recommended by our server. Great experience here! Came to celebrate a friends 50th and I was so appreciative that they let us bring balloons and our own dessert since we had a custom cake. I can't remember everything we ordered but everything was delicious! Some of the items that stuck out were the tagliatelle with crab and the turkey meatballs! We had a wonderful meal and experience at Sachet. The ambience inside was really nice and was a good combination of modern yet warm our server was friendly and well informed us about the menu. We started off with drinks (the amalfi margarita and their take on an Aperol spritz) which were both extremely well made. We then got olives and keftedes (turkey meatballs) and for our entree, we split the casarecce all'arrabbiata pasta. All of the food dishes were excellent with the pasta being my favorite. I ate here a few days ago based on a recommendation from my boss who also hadn't been here. It's a very beautiful restaurant on the corner of a strip mall in Oak Lawn with amazing middle eastern fare and a very lovely wait staff. I enjoyed the yellow beet dish primarily due to the incredible texture on the red beet hummus and the delicious whipped feta. I never thought burrata would ever pair so well with Moroccan matbucha, but it was so delicious with their grilled toast. But what really surprised me was when I had a hankering for both a salad and falafel, and I just politely requested that they sub in falafel with any salad they have, and they brought me out something epically delicious, as seen in my photo. Is anaphylaxis nonchalant to you? Clearly it means nothing to Sachet. I informed my waiter of my food allergies not once, not twice, but three separate times. He even went as far as suggesting I substitute the couscous on my salmon dish for a side Caesar salad to avoid issues. I trusted that recommendation. Moments after eating the salad, I began experiencing symptoms of an allergic reaction. I immediately asked what was in the salad, and the waiter said he would check with the kitchen and bring the manager. A long delay later, the manager finally arrived and casually mentioned that "there may have been cross-contamination with tahini." I asked directly--"There's cross-contamination, or there's tahini in the salad?" After several back-and-forth exchanges, he finally admitted they knowingly put tahini in the salad. This isn't a minor oversight. This is life-threatening negligence. Imagine if I were a child--this could've ended in tragedy. Even worse, no one from the restaurant has followed up or reached out to check on me, despite having my phone number. That says everything about their lack of accountability and care. I spent the whole night experiencing anaphylactic shock, throwing up, and passing out. If I could give this place a -100/10, I would. Dangerous, careless, and utterly inexcusable. read more

First time here and I was so excited to try out the food. However, I left with disappointment. We ordered a salmon crudo as our appetizer then fattoush salad and tagliatelle pasta. First, the salmon crudo had a very fishy scent as well as taste and the portion was.. so not worth the $18. Then the Fattoush salad was not bad but after couple bites, I noticed that it was too salty and same with the portion, ridiculously small for a $15 salad. The Tagliatelle pasta had a fair portion but still thought it wasn't worth $29... the flavor was good but it was a bit too buttery. And lastly, we had the Sachet Spritz but it was too sour when we specifically asked for a drink that was more on the sweeter side. The biggest disappointment was that all of the dishes we ordered were recommendations given by the server... but despite the disappointment, one thing that made our stay okay was that our server was very kind the whole time. Maybe second try, it might be better, but for now, I'm not sure if I'll go back tbh. read more

Ambiance was warm and welcoming when you walk in. It is an open area, so it can be noisy. Excellent service, as you would expect. All the staff was very helpful, courteous and gracious. Our server I think was having a bad day and felt she was a bit snippy with us when we asked to split our bill between two couples at the end and when we asked what different things were. You weren't listening is not the response you want to hear. But a very enjoyable experience altogether. We started off with the yellow beets and a hot squash appetizer. I was not a fan of the beets, but the squash knocked it out of the park with the flavor profile. Very good. The appetizers were very small, so two were easily shareable for two couples. The somm was very helpful ordering us a bottle of wine for our meal. We had a Greek red wine to go with both our seafood/steak dinner, which is a hard thing to pair. We ordered the snapper. So very good. Very tender and lots of flavor. Steak frites comes with great fries and a salad to die for. I found myself enjoying the fires and salad more. The steak was a bit tough and would have expected a more tender cut for a ribeye, even at medium rare. Dessert was some like a small so papilla with two dipping sauces. Hot chocolate and lavender honey. The honey was the winner. I would love to come back and try some of the other wonderful offerings and highly recommend. My family and I came here for an early dinner a couple of weeks ago and had a wonderful meal. We noshed on Fatteh and fresh pita to start with. My Shrimp Saganaki entree was delicious. My wife's pasta dish (thought I now forget which one it was) and son's Crispy Chicken Thighs were also a hit with them. Our server took great care of us and the decor was attractive and clean. The Andalucia Old Fashioned was perfectly made and the desserts were a perfect ending. We left satisfied and looking forward to coming back even though it's over 45 minutes away. If you get there early, you can probably find parking in the shared lot (as we did) but they also have valet. read more

Located in a non descript strip mall across the street from Al Biernat's is a great spot! The only complaint I have is it is a little loud in there but I think that makes me seem pretty lame! The food and drinks are outstanding and the service is delightful. We had a completely veggie meal (minus the pasta that had sausage / boar but I just had to get that) and were super satisfied. We are long time Sachet customers and recently discovered that we could have lunch here before our Saturday Dallas Theater Center matinee. We came back for a second time to have lunch before theater. The food was good and so was the service. However we were disappointed that we paid $39 a glass for a Sancerre without being told the price. The server mentioned that they had a Sancerre that was not on the menu. But failed to mention that it was over double the price of their regular wines by the glass. We might have still opted for it and it was a good wine but were disappointed that we were not informed. I think Sachet can do better read more

Went to this cute Mediterranean spot for a late dinner. This was the perfect place for our mix of vegan and meat-eaters. Service was awesome and they took time telling us what items were vegan or could be easily adapted. We had multiple starters but the oyster mushrooms w/ white bean purée and the lentils were the favorite for the table. (Honorable mention to the charred octopus!) Everyone enjoyed their entrees, and I can personally vouch for the chicken thighs and the trout both being excellent. This was a fantastic dining experience! Great food and service, in a beautiful restaurant that almost felt like a neighborhood hangout.
