Divine. Delicious. Creamy. Worth the price for the quality!!! There's unlimited samples, but any flavor you get will meet expectations. My husband even got the affogato and it was sooooo good. Wish there was one closer to us!
Was craving something sweet after having dinner and my friend threw out gelato and I found this place and when we saw affogato too we had to try it Place is at the spectrum in Irvine next to the regal theater and it was busy busy It has a cozy yet European feel to it inside You can buy gelato to go in prepackaged pints as well Pricey pricey for small portions but I'll say we loved it I got 2 flavors (raspberry ricotta and pistachio) and my friend got an affogato with triple chocolate
I love a good gelato, and this place definitely lived up to the hype! Now I understand why there's almost always a line. The shop has such a cute vibe and is the perfect spot to grab dessert after lunch or dinner , or honestly anytime you're craving something sweet. The only downside is that indoor seating is pretty limited. They do have a few tables outside, but if it's busy, you might have to enjoy your gelato while taking a little stroll. The gelato itself was rich, creamy, and absolutely delicious! I do wish they had a few more sorbet flavors to choose from, but the selection they did have was still fantastic. A huge shoutout to Tobi for making our visit even better! They were so friendly, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. They took the time to explain the popular flavors and let us sample until we found the perfect one. You can tell they genuinely care about making sure customers leave happy, and that kind of service really stands out. I can already tell I'm going to become a regular because I need to come back and try all the other flavors. Thank you, Bacio Di Latte, for such a sweet experience .. I can't wait for my next visit!
Wow. I don't usually care for gelato because it has never felt like that much of a difference between that and ice cream. This spot though was different. The scoops are so light/almost airy (?) and the flavors are so intense!! There's also no limit to samples!! I got the tres leches and it was great!! Would definitely come back!! I visited Bacio di Latte on a Tuesday evening with my family. There was a line as usual, but it didn't take too long. I still had a very difficult time deciding on which flavors to go with despite the fact that I've been to Bacio multiple times prior. After much deliberation & some samples, I opted for a split piccolo cup of the cioccalato belga & my usual chocolate pistachio crunch. Looking forward to my next visit!
Had a great experience at Bacio Di Latte area dinner at the Spectrum. Line was long but it moved quickly. Staff were friendly, helpful, unlimited samples. Pretty steep for a small cup $8 ish. It's a super cute little boutique gelato shop. Must go. Had the pistachio with chocolate kinda like Dubai chocolate -- it was divine. My whole family enjoyed their gelatos!
The gelato is great! The pistachio had a great flavor. For non dairy options, the vegan chocolate was decadent and the strawberry sorbet was refreshing. Employees were friendly. They have a few seats inside and out if you want to sit and enjoy your dessert treat.

Oh. My. Gosh. This was our first time here after walking passed it a million times. The gelato was so beautiful and tasted just as it looked AMAZING. They allowed us to sample whatever we wanted, I landed on Strawberry cheesecake and salted Carmel. We also got a peanut butter Carmel something. I can do peanuts but my BF was in heaven. We'll be back probably every time we are at the Spectrum. The staff was super sweet (no pun intended) the shoppe was crisp and clean.
Incredible gelato made with quality ingredients you can taste. All of the flavors are delicious and very satisfying. The gelato is on the pricier side but worth it for the quality. They have cups, sugar cones, and waffle cones, and 1, 2, or 3 scoops. Staff are very friendly and the interior is beautifully decorated and clean.
I've heard rave reviews from my friends regarding this amazing gelato shop. We actually made it a point to stop here before we headed back to SD. To be honest, I thought, what's the big deal? First of all, I love the concept of flavored lined cups either with or without nuts. There are two flavor coatings to choose from, which are Nutella or Pistachio. Both my favorite flavors. After much deliberation, I chose pistachio with nuts to line the cup. As far as gelato flavors, I got Pistachio and Nutella (of course lol). Super creamy and full of flavor, it's no wonder that my friends rave about this place! There was a line so, unfortunately, I didn't really get to try barely anything since I didn't want to hold up the line. I did like that there were some outside seating and the decor is very classy and modern. Employees were friendly and helpful. I just saw they have a location in SD! I'll check that out soon and try some different flavors. With the weather hot, it's the perfect time to try some amazing gelato!
Was so excited to hear that Bacio di Latte opened up closer to me at the Spectrum! Loved the one at Fashion Island, and they pretty much have the same rich, creamy gelato! I will say the Spectrum one feels like you get less gelato for the price and the line was much longer, but can't complain much- the gelato is simply amazing. I'm a mint chip loyalist so I always have to get it, also got the stracciatella and tiramisu though. Recommend all of them!
It's a great spot for gelato. We tried the pistachio, mint, and 3 chocolate flavors. The texture was very creamy, though a bit too sweet for my taste. Still, it was a nice treat overall. I'd definitely come back to try some of the other flavors.

I've been a huge fan of Baccio Di Latte ever since I tried it at their original location a few years ago! This was my first time at the Irvine Spectrum location. As expected, there was a line but service was fast and they even allowed us to sample! I got the strawberry cheesecake and the new chocolate pistachio crunch, absolutely delicious! Yes, the portions are small and it's a little expensive...but it's definitely a treat worth splurging for. Also, major shoutout to their staff for being on top of it during rush hour. There's some seating outside and 1-2 tables inside, but don't count on sitting nearby during peak hours. Thankfully though, it's in the Spectrum so plenty of spaces to sit and relax. read more
Came on a Saturday night and there was a long line but it moves fast. Got hazelnut, pistachios and tiramusi to share. You can also try samples before you order. My gelato scooper was nice and he fills up my cup. They have a few table outside to sit and eat and chat. read more

I love that Bacio Di Latte is now open at Irvine Spectrum since it's closer to home. I love their aesthetic, and the lines were not as long when I went on a Friday night. The line only takes long because customers are asking for samples before deciding what they want. I opted for a waffle cone regular (2 scoops). The flavors I got were Mousse di Pistacchio and Crema Torino. The worker who helped me out was friendly and even added the pistachio topping on top of my ice cream scoop. The gelato is creamy and full of flavors. I love the flavors that I picked out and it was not too overpowering. Overall, this is my new to go dessert spot whenever I'm at the Irvine Spectrum! read more
A new gelato spot located at Irvine Spectrum near the movie theater. The interior decorations are very modern and made it feel spacious. There are both indoor and outdoor seating options available. They are able to move the line very quickly as there are multiple people taking orders and scooping the gelato. I was a little bit skeptical because authentic gelato is not usually stored out in the open, but the quality was not bad for what it was. The price is definitely on the higher side, but it feels like a lot more than it looks as you're eating it. The flavors are strong and the texture is soft, but you definitely have to be willing to spend a little bit more to try it. read more
Stopped here with my lady today as it was quite warm and we were in the mood for gelato. We usually make the drive to Gelato Paradiso in Laguna Beach when we want gelato, but we were at the Spectrum. There was a little line when we got there and the decor was as you would expect, but interestingly enough, it was quite warm in the store. After a 10ish minutes wait, we were able to order our gelato cups. The man who scooped our gelato was friendly and let us try the strawberry cheesecake flavor before we made our decision. I went with the grande sized classic cup with Pistachio Chocolate and Strawberry Cheese cakes scoops. The Pistachio Chocolate had very little pistachio flavor but the chocolate layer on top made me think slightly of Dubai chocolate. The strawberry cheesecake was exactly as expected in terms of flavor. My lady got the regular classic cup with the yogurt flavor and the super latte. We both agreed that our cups tasted and had the texture that was more comparable to ice cream than gelato, which was a bit of a disappointment. read more
The classic tiramisu flavor was mildly sweet and not overly rich. The tiramisu flavor was paired with a waffle cone of crunchy hazelnuts, and the caffè & caramellatte flavor with one of crunchy pistachios. I had to pay extra for the specialty cones, but they were significantly tastier and offered a better texture. New gelato spot that opened in December 2024, consistent long line 20-30 minutes tops. They had variations of chocolate gelato, hazelnut gelato, and pistachio gelato. Although the pistachio mousse was most popular, I preferred the other pistachio! + Affogato ($9.75): 1 scoop of pistachio, absolutely amazing! My friend saw on social media of this new shop opening at Irvine Spectrum so I had to stop by. What can I say, refreshing and delicious. We got the chocolate/sweet cream, strawberry sorbet, and cookies and cream. Each one was rich in flavor and I truly appreciate the ability to sample before you buy. All the flavors we got were enjoyable and you can't go wrong with any of the selection. The interior is modern, clean, with a few tables and chairs and a counter. Exterior also had a couple tables but be forewarned, it can get busy. Staff was very helpful in providing recommendations. Tucked away near Regal Cinema, definitely a worthwhile place to visit after a meal if you're ever in Irvine Spectrum. read more
Bacio Di Latte has the best gelato! I've been a fan ever since they opened in Century City as I lived nearby and it was my favorite treat. Having recently moved to Irvine, I was thrilled to see that they were open at the Spectrum! This location is beautiful and the staff are very friendly. You can sample their gelato, which is made fresh daily. You really can't go wrong with any of their flavors - the quality of ingredients and expertise really shows. I love their chocolate and hazelnut flavors. If you want to share with someone, definitely splurge on the waffle cone or bowl as the portions are quite generous! Indoor and outdoor seating. read more

Very lovely spot with amazing service and gelato! Seriously no complaints. You can sample any flavor you want. The staff all wear cute outfits to match the European ambiance that surrounds the whole shop. I tried the Affogato with a scoop of salted caramel--highly recommend! read more
We had scoops of the Fragola (strawberry sorbet), pistachio, and caramello salato (salted caramel). There was a long line of people, but it was well worth the wait. It has the best pistachio dessert I've had on the West Coast. I like that it actually has pistachio on it as opposed to just flavored. The strawberry sorbet was refreshing and something I would want after eating a heavy meal. The saltiness from the caramel brought out the flavors very well, I always like when desserts have just a hint of salt. read more
If i had to rate on taste only I would give it 10/10. The flavors are amazing. The inside is very inviting with limited seating options (there are several tables outside). The issue is with the portions. A small cup is around $10 and some of the staff doesn't know how to fill these cups, especially if you order two flavors. I ordered a pint for home and sadly it was only half full. Same with when we ordered the small cups. If scooping is such a chore then maybe they should base their prices on weight. read more
Located near the Regal theater at Spectrum, Bacio Di Latte is a cute and clean dessert spot with minimal seating. It's hard to choose between which flavors to get when they're all delicious (and you can sample them)! Good thing the regular comes with up to 3 flavors! I never stop by gelato joints in plazas because I just assume they're tourist/shopper traps... but boy was I wrong about this one!!!!!! I keep coming back.. Best gelato in oc hands down. The cone is so good and fresh even at 10pm lol. I'm always let down by ice cream shops and their homemade waffle cones that always eat soggy or soft.. not here!! Every flavor I try is so good I just come back to get different flavors! The best so far have been the pistachio (not the mousse) and the acai white chocolate!!! Don't sleep on this place! read more

I really wanted to try this place, but the line was super long! Today, I went and the there was no line! The 3 chocolate was very strong chocolate flavor and it was good! I enjoyed the peanut butter flavor a lot and there was chucks of chocolate and peanuts. The giant chocolate chip was pretty good. It was soft and crispy at the same time and it had hints of sea salt. read more

I've always loved Bacio di latte in Fashion Island so when I heard they would be opening a new location in the Spectrum, I couldn't wait to check it out! We tried their strawberry cheesecake, the pistachio, and the hazelnut flavors. The sweet and sour cheesecake paired magnificently with the nuttier flavors. I have never had gelato before that is so creamy and full-bodied while still not being too heavy and weighting you down. The sweetness level was perfect as well. Not overwhelming but also not lacking anything. I'd love to come back here but be warned - the lines are no joke! read more
I am absolutely in trouble now that this is open so close by to me. I'm not going to pretend like I'm a connoisseur of gelato by any means, and I've had it in Italy and couldn't tell you a good deal difference of what makes gelato good, but you sort of know it when you taste it. Stateside, there's no one that does it better than Bacio di Latte, and I'm glad that the quality is consistent with this location as well. It's pretty classic as far as flavors go, and there's nothing wrong with that, even if many ice cream chains sort of get you on limited time offerings. You'll always go back to your favorites anyway, so there's always more than enough new flavors to try out. This time I had the stracciatella which is my go-to as well as the eponymously named sweet cream flavor, and both were fantastic. It's absolutely a danger to my diet, but it's hard to pass up a great gelato cone, which I will now need to exert some self-control considering how easy it is right at the entrance of Irvine Spectrum Center next to the Regal which is one of my third places. TIP: I hear that lines could be long, but they're open late as well, so try to go off-hours! read more

So excited to have more gelato places nearby. The service was super nice and lets you sample flavors before picking. The place looks clean and has a cute vibe to it. The 3 Cioccolati chocolate gelato was very good. Exactly what I was expecting from gelato and tasted like the gelato I had in France. read more
Fantastic Italian-style gelato with around two dozen flavors at a time. I tried the hazelnut and pistachio and my mom tried the cherry one and I must say the cherry one tasted the best! A nice asset to the Irvine Spectrum mall. read more

Deceptive Packaging/Dishonest Business! I ordered two hot chocolates from this location and asked for a milk alternative, they offered oat milk which I was happy about. The total came to $15.80. When I received my order, I was shocked to see that both cups were only filled halfway. I asked a staff member if this was normal, and they told me it was "4 oz." the worker informed me that this was standard. In reality, it felt more like a sample size. Both drinks were also lukewarm and lacked flavor. The worker did not offer a refund after seeing I was unhappy with my product/experience. The packaging is deliberately misleading. Oversized cups that create the illusion of a full drink while giving you barely anything. If you're going to serve such tiny portions, at least match portions with the correct cup size. I will not return to this location and I've placed a chargeback on this order. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Save yourself the frustration and your money and go to Starbucks, Cold Stone, or literally anywhere else where you actually get what you pay for. read more

This was my first time at such a nice icecream shop! They had some selection of beverages and a wide range of selection for icecream. Shout out to Vindy for helping us out! We wanted to sample quite a lot of flavor before making a decision. He was extremely patient and friendly the whole time so trying out sample was a blast! Finally we decided on strawberry sorbet which taste like a perfect strawberry smoothie as an ice cream and yogurt (taste like my mom Vietnamese tart yogurt)! Both were extremely delicious, the ice cream are on the pricier side but the experience was worth it! The interior of the store is very elegant and classy with seating indoor and outdoor! read more

Great place for gelato at this newer location! Expect a long line but it moves rather quickly. A lot of staff working and a lot of samples to be had! I like that they can put Nutella on the cones! My favorite was the tiramisu. Very warm and welcoming staff. read more

Beautiful establishment with a great variety of flavors. You can find this near the movie theaters at Spectrum. A piccolo is small but the gelato is rich and creamy. Tried their latest flavor which was tiramisu and it was heavenly! The scoops are on the smaller size, but it truly is about quality not quantity. read more
