I got the strawberry shave ice to share with 2 other people and we did not even finish half. The serving size is huge! The strawberries were incredibly refreshing, the shave ice was fluffy and milky. I loved the mouthfeel! Theres some seating along a wall inside and tables outside.
Bingsoo is yummy. The shaved ice creamy, light, and fluffy. Price can be reasonable depending on how many people you are sharing with. Service was friendly but speed could be improved. Nice option for the summer!
This location compared to the Buena Park location is so much better . I usually get two bingsoo with my family the berry one has sweetness and nice balance with the fruits also the custard fish is a must with the bingsoo is perfect Irvine location also feels little more upscale with modern feel the service is decent with being mostly busy . Perfect desert place in the summer after dinner
Love this spot for some really refreshing and delicious bingsu! My go-to flavors are definitely the fruity ones like mango and green grape but I recently tried the injeolmi flavor and really enjoyed it too! Service is quick, and there's a cashier available to help with ordering. The ambiance is super nice, clean, and cozy. Plenty of seating inside as well!
So good!! I wish I lived closer because I probably come here a lot more often. The only negative is parking but that's to be expected in this plaza.
The fruit was super fresh and sweet, and our bingsoo came out pretty quick. They have both indoor and outdoor seating but place can get pretty crowded we got the mango & strawberry both 10/10
Mango Bingsoo & Injeoulme toast combo! Service is just the right amount of time! This place is always full because this is meant to be shared with one or more friends. We had a hard time finishing this up between two. But it was delicious and... not too sweet ;)
This was actually my second visit because I wanted to try more of their specialties. The first time, I had their Chocolate Bingsoo, and it was amazing. I'm honestly not a big fan of bingsoo, but this one changed my mind. The ice was so smooth and creamy, almost like ice cream. It wasn't overly sweet, but it kept you coming back for another bite. This time, I decided to try their Mango Special since it's one of their bestsellers. I love mangoes, but unfortunately this one was a bit too sour for my taste, so I didn't enjoy it as much as the chocolate version. I'd still come back though. The Chocolate Bingsoo is definitely my favorite, and I think I'll give the Watermelon Bingsoo a try next time.
I've had Sul & Beans in South Korea and was so excited to have it in the U.S.! Love the bingsu options, the servings are huge. Definitely can share one bingsu with 3-5 people. The coffee is strong and not very sweet. There's a couple of tables inside and outside. It's in the DJ plaza, so parking is busy and limited. Service was nice but not super quick. Highly recommend coming here for dessert!
Came here on a warm day. Their shaved ice and toppings are nice. The shaved ice consistency is ground fine like fresh snow. It's not the small pebbles of ice like snow cones nor the shaved ice slices of other Asian shaved ice spots (but very similar). The toppings here cover the shaved ice and you're able to get some in every bite until finished. The bowls are relatively large so you can definitely share between 2-3 people if needed.
Sul & Beans is a great place to come and get dessert. One ice can feed around 2-3 people, and it comes in a variety of different flavors. Each type of dessert I have gotten here has always been good. Sometimes the fruit ones can be a little sour if the fruit is not in season, but besides that it is still very tasty. The employees are always working hard as the place is usually busy, especially at night. There is a good amount of seating, but even that can get packed. I have ordered to-go from here, and can say that whether you eat there or order out, the dessert is always delicious.
On the way back from SD, my parents and I wanted a sweet treat, which is why we stopped by here!! The place was decently sized, with ample tables, but they were close to each other. Both bingsoos were delicious and refreshing. Mango Bingsoo: 4/5 only because the mango was quite sour, but the fluffy shaved ice and condensed milk really made it enjoyable Taro Bingsoo: 5/5 because I love the flavors of taro and toasted coconut together. This was bursting with flavor and the chewy mochi really hit the spot!! Overall, I loved the Bingsoo and will be back soon to try other flavors!
So refreshing on a hot summer day! Perfect for 2-3 people. Strawberry or mango are my favorite. The team is very nice and efficient. I like that they have us take our trays to be cleaned. Saves the team time to make the shave ice milk. The vibe is nice and clean and friendly. Parking can be a challenge depending on time of day. So if it looks a busy in the parking lot, grab a spot when you see it!

In fact, all the other shaved ice looked so colourful and too pretty to be eaten. The portion size is perfect for 3-4 adults. The place is nice and clean, and the servers friendly. Delicious bingsoo! We ordered two bingsoo for three girls who love a sweet treat, the Strawberry Cheesecake and Mango which were ready in about 20 minutes. Plenty of people, but still plenty of seating outside! You can tell it's a great treat to share with a group, perfect for any time of day. I love the cheesecake bites in the strawberry cheese flavor, the creaminess combine perfectly with the slightly sweet and tart strawberry! Just wish this fruit was a bit sweeter. Our mango bingsoo was delicious! I did not expect the fresh mango to be so perfect. I was pleasantly surprised. I just wish this flavor had a touch of mochi on top for an additional bite. read more

Really good bingsoo place. This is a chain and so happy that they opened one here. Good food, good service. Parking is tough though because its in Diamond Jamboree. This place can get really busy but still recommend. We got the Mango Bingsoo and added red bean on top. Haven't tried their other flavors though. Def recommend the mango bingsoo. read more
We decided to come here after a spa and it was the perfect treat. Light and fluffy. We tried the strawberry cheese and sweet corn. My mom and sister loved the strawberry cheese. My absolute favorite was the sweet corn and i'm drooling thinking about the next time i'll be able to have it again. The condensed milk on the side was not needed because the sweetness was just perfect. Not overwhelmingly sweet. There's plenty of seating inside and outside. read more

Both were so insanely refreshing and good! The banana one was definitely a favorite and the mango was so refreshing. These are perfectly shareable desserts and so casual. They have a few tables indoors and outdoors. The service is great and move fairly quick. read more
This is probably the best shaved ice I've had! They're generous with portion size and with the fruit they add on top. I ate sooo many strawberries! Employees were friendly and efficient! I genuinely think it's a talent to make food look so pretty. The space was clean and inviting. The location can be hard to get to during peak hours. Be prepared to fight for a parking spot if you're don't want to use the parking garage behind H Mart. read more

Came after a friend said this is a great desert place. The shop is small but perfect size for what they sell. Great menus selection. Staff friendly. They give you a reusable bag if the deserts is to go. I definitely recommend this for a great dessert especially in the hot months read more

ive been to sul & beans a couple times bc of friends! I personally prefer shaved snow vs ice but its still good. I like the abundance of fresh mango but it sucks when you make your way towards the bottom bc it starts to lack flavor. the matcha one was pretty good tho and flavor was pretty complex throughout! service is pretty standard. you only really interact with staff to order. then they give you a pager and you put the trays away yourself when finished! its always busy when i visit. Its a pretty popular spot for dessert! people sit and hang out here. clean, minimalist design / seating here read more
Parking is a nightmare :( But the dessert here is worth it!! So stuck it up friend, you will not regret the 5-6 laps around the parking lot looking for a spot. I've had only their strawberry and their mango bingsoo. Its soo good!!! Its rather large so I recommend sharing. I've had it in the spot. They have circular tables to share with your friends but I have also taken it home to eat and they put it in a little cooler to maintain its consistency. Both are great, however at home you will not get the pretty presentation and if you try to freeze it for later well, the ice will get stuck together and will not longer be that delicious K-shaved ice we all like. Overall, I recommend this place. read more

1/2 Still on a full-on shaved snow / bingsu kick, so I stopped by Seoul and Beans to keep the streak alive. Nice, modern space, in & patio seating, good but plain vibe. Rookie mistake on my part though--I didn't scan the QR code to see the picture menu and played it safe with the Oreo bingsu. It was... fine. Milk shaved ice with cookie crumbles, whipped cream on top, and a small side of condensed milk. Strong start thanks to the whipped cream, very boring middle, then a slightly soupy finish that improved once the condensed milk got involved. Next time I'd definitely go fruit-based. This is clearly meant for two people, but I powered through solo anyway. Small but annoying detail: the water cups are tiny--shot-glass tiny. Ice cream makes you thirsty. Unless the goal is to push drink sales, that one didn't make much sense. Parking tip: Diamond Jamboree on weekends is a mess. Skip the hunt and use the parking structure--it's way easier. Didn't try the drinks yet, so this rating is just for the bingsu. Worth a visit, but order smarter and scan the photo menu first. read more

We were here with our friends and we all ordered different flavors. I ordered the strawberry matcha which I think it great but I would recommend my friend's choice better- the classic Injeolmi Bingsoo Combo and the mango if you like more sweet. The ice is so fluffy and soft like actual snowflakes. read more
Such a refreshing dessert shop! In the land of heavy ice creams and dense cheesecakes, bingsu is the perfect choice to satisfy that post-meal sweet tooth without you feeling like you're gonna burst or have a tummyache by the end. We ordered the Oreo with strawberries on the side and it hit the SPOT! Not overly sweet, but so good you want to keep having more and more. This spot is located in Diamond Jamboree, so it's perfect to stop by and grab after getting a nice dinner or before some late night karaoke. Service here is great as well and they get the bingsu out to you quickly with such picturesque presentation! Definitely coming back here after dinner the next time I'm in the area!! read more
Yum!!!! Sul & Beans is delicious, refreshing, and clean. Located in the Diamond Jamboree plaza, it offers Korean-style shave ice (basically snow- it's incredible and melts in your mouth. It's not icy at all) There's tons of different options (I would check to see what fruit is in season) and they offer free water to wash off the stickiness. Parking can be chaotic in this plaza, but I definitely think the service and the desserts make up for this. read more
Horrid parking as it's located in DJ + good service. We order their mango bingsoo and injeolmi bread which I really liked! I would recommend the injeolmi bread for sweet tooth lovers as it's very sweet but powdery. I prefer Sul & Beans over Oakobing. read more

I haven't has the urge to stop by and Sul & Beans since my last bad experience at a different location. However, since I was in the irvine area and this shop looks to be a relatively new addition to DJ I decided that it might be worth stopping by. To my suprise, it was a positive experience. I got the green tea bingsu since I haven't seen it before. I would like to note that if you want more condensed milk, you can always go up to the counter and ask for more. For me and my friend, what was provided was enough. I loved all the nuts and extra crunchy bits that were added. It really brought a nice contrast to the soft ice. The bingsu was nicely soft and fluffy as you'd expect. The added red beans were a perfect touch to it. It was a bit salty and sweet and paired really well with the light green tea flavor. I also really loke how there was a pocket of red bean layered in the bingsu too. read more
The shop was clean, had plenty of indoor seating, and there was ample parking in the lot. We ordered the Oreo bingsoo, which was easily enough to share between two people. I also love that they layer the toppings throughout the bingsoo, so every bite has a good balance of flavor instead of everything being just on top. Service was quick, and one thing I appreciate is how consistent the quality is across all of their locations. Definitely a reliable spot when you're craving bingsoo! read more
They have a variety of flavors to choose from. We got the strawberry and it was the perfect refreshing sweet treat to end the day. The base was pillowy soft, not icy. The strawberry flavor was subtle but still prominent enough to taste. One of the best tasting dessert has to be fruit on the shaved ice with two add-ons, Sweet Red Beans, Misugaru (Roasted multi grain powder) with extra condensed milk syrup that are served for two with $22 total price. We ordered the best tasting Bingsu (Shaved Ice) with Mango and those three added toppings served on the side. It was all top five stars. My Mukbang Friends: Go forth and do not hesitate! You won't regret it! Life is too short to have missed out on Bingsu at Sul & Beans!!!! read more
