Came all the way from corona in hopes to try out their famous original cheesecake that keeps popping up on my IG account. but unfortunately they're already sold out!! So I purchased two big ass pieces of their chocolate and original cake. the owner was super nice. Told me the next time call she couldn't believe that drove so far she did give me some urb cheesecake to try out it was delicious creamy spongy at the same time you just have to come out and try it for yourself. The location is small but clean! Didn't see any tables or chairs so everything is to go only.

Green Tea Creamtella Available ONLY on Saturdays & Sundays!

3/12/2026 Chocotella with Mocha Loved this one! Spongy, moist, fluffy with plenty chocolate chips scattered throughout the castella. Light in cocoa flavor and light in sweetness too. The mocha whipped cream tastes like the typical mocha cream you find in Asian bakeries for their mocha cakes. Light in mocha coffee flavor. Not overly sweet either and it complements the Chocotella. Choc chips do distract from the soft sponginess of cake, as there are many choc chips scattered throughout the cake. Still, this was a great dessert option for gatherings or even birthdays! Creamtella Vanilla castella was also spongy, moist and fluffy, yet a tad bit dry at the end. However, overall still good. A bit of eggy flavor as most castella cakes go. The vanilla whipped cream was light and went well with the castella. Both castella cakes have dry parts, mostly the outer edges. As you move inwards, it is very soft and moist. Wanted to get the Matchatella, which is Matcha Castella cake with Matcha whipped cream. But it's only available on Saturdays and Sundays. Customer Service The person at the front was friendly and helpful. She was patient and answered any questions I had. Self-Order Kiosk There is a self-order kiosk available. Seats Two sets of tables for 2 were set up right outside the store. Parking Located in a large strip mall, so you will have little to no issues in finding free parking. Loved the location, as everything was clean with ample parking. Definitely want to return to try their Matcha Creamtella!

i love how cheesetella not only has the fluffiest castella cakes, they also have a larger drink menu selection now! Lots of matcha and coffee options to choose from! i lly liked the dubai mocha. Make sure to go early because they run out of their castella cake flavors. i need to go back to try some of their other flavors it's so soft and fluffy

An Instagram ad for this bakery popped up on my feed, and it looked so good that I decided to drive over and try it for myself. When I got there, I asked the woman in front of me--who was buying several bags of cakes--which one she recommended. She laughed and said, "Honestly, I just saw an ad and came here today." I told her the same thing happened to me, and we both had a good laugh about how effective that Instagram ad was. I ended up purchasing the original, and it was absolutely delicious. This will definitely be a regular stop for me whenever I'm craving this cheesecake/pound cake. I'm so glad that ad showed up on my Instagram page! Lol

In general I'm a huge fan of Japanese bakeries because everything is so fluffy. I decided to check out Cheesetella based on the reviews and am happy that I did. The store sells Castella cakes which are Japanese sponge cakes and Japanese cheesecakes. You can get the original Castella cake (completely plain, no cheese or filling) or go for the cream filled ones. Ordering is super easy. There is a tablet in the front where you order and pay. There was only one store clerk but I got my order in less than 30 seconds after ordering. I bought the original Castella without any filling. It was soft and fluffy without being dry. Really tasty and probably one of the best sponge cakes I've had in awhile. Price was reasonable at $12.50 for a decent sized slice. You need to keep this refrigerated as it can spoil after a few days. This is located in a strip mall so there is always plenty of parking. I will definitely be back to try their Cheesetella.

This was a unique place to try and seemed quite popular for a Sunday afternoon when we came. People came in mostly from online order / Uber delivery. By the time we came they ran out of the Ube Cheesecake. They did have samples of it to try - the texture was buttery soft, it melted in my mouth, flavor was delicious but a little on the sweet side for me (but still pretty good considering I'm not much of a cheesecake fan). We ended up ordering the Original, which was still pretty good (would've paired up nice with a matcha drink, we'll have to order one next time). Instead, we got the Strawberry milk drink, which was like any other strawberry milk we've tried. The thing that was disappointing was I asked for light ice, they filled up half the cup with ice. I don't like having my drinks too cold, and drinking mostly ice, so places where they give me half or if not entirely ice in the drink is so disappointing. It's a small place, if there was a line inside the area, It looks like they could fit about 6-7 individuals to order. There was one table with a couple of chairs right outside their door. Staff were professional, but not personable/friendly. I would still come back to try other flavors, and one of the matcha drinks.

I love Cheesetella for its softness and moist cake. It can be a great snack for your daily munching. They have coffee on the menu now which makes it so convenient for a one-stop shop. I had: 1. Cheesetella 2. Ube cheesecake 3. Latte

Quick and easy visit to try the original cheesetella and a cheesecake! Service was friendly and helpful, and ambiance is casual, as this is a shop meant for selecting and picking up your goodies rather than lingering for eating onsite. The original cheesetella was so fluffy and light - the kind of Castella that is airy and delicious, and definitely not too sweet. The cheesecake was creamy and a bit more rich. Both were good but I prefer the original cheesetella if you're just looking to try one. Looking forward to going back and trying other flavors!

Was very excited to try this place! Upon arrival there was an overly long wait and the place seemed a but short staffed as the orders were taking long to takeout. The shop is very small but the cashier was very lovely and apologizing for the wait. chocotella 7/10 (cream is coffee flavored not a big fan tastes very much like tiramisu, pancake is very eggy as well but airy fluffy) ube cheescake 8.5/10 (better prob warm, has very subtle flavor not too sweet but ube flavor is there! love this one) Overall I would give this place another try for their different flavors.

If you are on a diet, do not try Cheesetella because you'll be hooked from the first bite. It's a rainbow cloud on the palate. I would definitely recommend to add the cream even to the chocolate because it takes it to the next level. Cheesetalla is a tiny shop full of personality and amazing service. 10/10

What I got: Ube Cheesecake Ube Matcha Coco Cloud Dubai Chocolate Mocha Strawberry Matcha Double Matcha I really loved their cheesecake! It's soo soft, fluffy and delicious. The Ube cheesecake is soo perfect not too overwhelming just the right amount. The drinks are good and refreshing. Love that they're soo many options to choose from and have variety of matcha selections and coffee options. The service is fast and friendly. Ambiance is cute and some seating outside. Mostly to go orders only . I would come back again for cheesecake and drinks

This location open from 10am to 8PM. I came on Saturday 4/25/26 at 3PM for chessetella and they ran out pretty much everything. The employees just simply said they sold out for the day and did not bother to make more cakes. Seriously sold out at 3pm but stay open until 8pm. 5hrs doing nothing?? Very nice management!!! The original was cold and dry btw.

A Must-Try for Castella & Light Cheesecake Lovers! This shop specializes in classic-style Castella and light, airy cheesecakes, and they completely blew me away -- no butter at all! That makes the cakes so refreshing and guilt-free. The texture is incredibly soft and fluffy, melting right in your mouth. The cream filling is smooth and delicate -- not too sweet, not heavy -- just perfect Here's what I tried this time Taro Flavor - Gentle taro aroma mixed with creamy sweetness. Every bite feels like happiness. Coffee Flavor - Slightly bitter coffee fragrance balanced by light cream. So addicting! Halloween Special - The colors are super fun and cute! My kids were instantly obsessed. The black layer is sesame-flavored, and the purple filling inside is taro. They loved it so much they brought it to school to share -- and now their whole class is hooked Their classmates even asked where it's from! If you love old-school sponge cakes but prefer something light and not too rich, I highly recommend this place! Perfect for afternoon tea or as a classy little gift for friends. Tip: Keep it refrigerated for the best texture and finish within 48 hours

This location is much closer to home, so I visited one afternoon when craving their cookies. The interior is modern, classy-bougie, with 4 tables and a large cushy chair. I ordered two cookies, the chocolate chip walnut and peanut butter chocolate, along with an iced horchata latte. I sat at one of the tables, opened the box my cookies were presented in, and found myself in cookie ecstasy. The cookies are fat mountains of deliciousness. Slightly crisp outside and soft inside (note: even softer if taken home and warmed up). The chocolate chip was crammed full of chips and the walnuts were in tiny bits to keep the cookie's texture soft. The chocolate cookie was also enormous and had an abundance of peanut butter chips. Both were superb. The horchata latte had just enough ice to keep it cold. It had a bold flavor of cinnamon which I loved. Staff here were friendly, efficient, and speedy. I like the vibe of this place but like their cookies even more.

What I loved is that the person behind the counter was super genuine and nice. She saw I was waiting patiently for the customer and went above and beyond to help me bypass the wait. I chose to be patient as I wasn't in a rush. Thank you though! The Latte 5* - Sea Salt Caramel Latte. I picked something I've had many times before and mostly just wanted the caffeine. Absolutely wonderful latte. The foam, the caramel, the coffee. Perfectly balanced, as all things should be. The Cookies - Cookies-n-cream 5*. This blew me away. Its their most popular item. If it had a chocolate shell on the outside it would've been a Dubai Chocolate Cookie and sold for 3x the price. KRISP is an interesting place in that it was very busy, but I didn't see a single person content with their order, and multiple people coming to the counter to address issues they had with their order (myself included). The staff are nice, but they definitely seemed overwhelmed and on their back foot trying to keep up with everyone. They use a digital kiosk for ordering which can be convenient, but is frustrating to use when you find out that the things you ordered are out of stock after you've paid and waited for the items (which happened to me). The shop itself has indoor and outdoor seating, but the layout makes the entrance get congested because you're picking up your order where people are entering which isn't ideal. On the food and beverage front, we tried a bunch of stuff: Blueberry Matcha and Strawberry Matcha: The blueberry matcha is extremely sweet (they said it's their sweetest matcha), and the strawberry matcha isn't far behind that. My biggest issue is their matches are all pre-sweetened, so you can't even adjust the sweetness because it's in their matcha already. The term "organic ceremonial grade Uji matcha" should have never been used for pre-sweetened matcha like this, because it was a disgrace to the term. KRISP Breakfast Burrito: These burritos are pre-made and delivered by a third party and then nuked in a microwave before serving. It's the same thing you'd get at most other coffee shops (ie Alfred). The red salsa it comes with is great though, but the burrito is just fine considering what it is. Almond Croissant: oh man I really wanted to like this, especially since I saw how much almond filling they used. Unfortunately the filling was completely bland, so there wasn't much almond going on with this. Ham & Cheese Croissant: This was also bland, and looked like someone had stepped on it. Just a real sad state of affairs. Berry Orchard Açaí Bowl: Probably the best thing we got, but I hate how they serve it in one of those parfait cups because all the contents keeps spilling out as you eat it. I wish it was in an actual bowl so you can eat it without losing half the toppings to the ground. Overall, I don't see a reason to come back here, and really don't think it's worth the cost given the quality of everything. As others have said, there's a lot of solid options in the area that deserve your patronage over this place.

The space itself is absolutely stunning with lots of seating both inside and outside. The store has a lot of floral decor, which gives it a very clean and spring vibe. The standouts for me here was the banana pudding, Matcha and the array of pastries they had available. We purchased two drinks here, one of which was the banana pudding Matcha and the other was a tiramisu cold brew. The banana pudding Matcha is one of the best drinks I've ever had with a rich high-quality Matcha and fresh creamy banana pudding inside. It's basically two desserts in one, and the flavors complement each other so well. Highly highly recommend - it's viral for a reason. The tiramisu cold brew was also good, although next time I would probably opt for a latte on the bottom since the cold brew is pretty strong. The foam on top was sweet and creamy. The pastries here are absolutely stunning, and I wish I could buy the entire display case. We ended up purchasing a Dubai chocolate croissant and a plain salt bread. The Dubai chocolate croissant was very unique - on the drier side but it definitely had that crunch and flake. I wish they had a little bit more chocolate or buttery elements to balance out the dryness of the cocoa powder. The salt bread was absolutely delicious, very well-made with a chewy texture. I will 100% be back to try everything else that Bag of Cakes has to offer. Highly recommend! We visited on a weekday during the afternoon since it was spring break, and there wasn't a line, but I've heard that lines can get long. There is plenty of parking in the plaza that it's located in. Definitely check this place out!!

When they first opened, the line was out the door, long, and unbearable (I'm not good with lines),…read moreso I left after seeing how crazy slow it was moving. I returned on a different day, same thing, so I left. Fast forward to May of 2026, I happen to be in the shopping center, so I decided to check it out. No line. The pastry cases looked amazing. There were so many choices; it was really hard to decide. There were several workers, but they seemed pretty uninterested in helping. No pep in the step, no energy, no eagerness to start ANY kind of small talk. This is so crazy. If you're walking into a small bakery that needs your business, why wouldn't they make a little more effort in creating a welcoming atmosphere for people who walk in, ready to dish out the pricey price for your pastries?! It makes no sense to me unless they are being paid very little or not being trained on etiquette and customer service. Just go into any Trader Joe's for reference: their cashier service is very welcoming and kind--and they are a huge grocery chain! It's not just this small bakery, I found worse non-service at the Fountain Valley location of Paderia! That review is next. I hate giving a 2-star review. But, the actual pastries I got were stale, dry, at least a day old, not fresh, FULL-priced pastries. I've gotten better tasting day old/end of day pastries from Too Good to Go, but they were severely discounted! I'm not sure how long they will get away with charging full price for stale pastries. Even my kids said the same thing. I was like is it just me? Incredulously thinking, it can't be, and sure enough, I read the reviews, and someone else said the same thing. I get it's a tough business. It's so sad all around. They should be getting a lot more tax breaks than big corporations do (who pay no taxes and pay to rig the rules), but there are several areas of improvement that could be made that is under their control. Maybe make fewer pastries each day, train your workers, etc. The cream and custard fillings are good, but I'm not going back.
