I really enjoyed this soft serve ice cream shop. I visited in the early afternoon on a weekday. It's located next to Zion Market and has several indoor tables surrounded by modern decor. They serve great quality soft serve and dress it up in unique ways. You can choose from creative house specialties or build your own toppings. I went with a house specialty - Dried Affogato. The nice woman behind the counter quickly had it ready and I sat at a table. The vanilla soft serve had a finely ground, high-quality coffee sprinkled on top along with Biscoff crumbs. The contrast between the slightly bitter coffee and sweet Biscoff was a treat to the tongue. Salted caramel syrup was drizzled on top and within the cup, and a whole Biscoff cookie was plunged into the soft serve. It was quite delicious. I would have liked more caramel sauce, but that would probably make it too sweet for the typical clientele here; I'd ask for more caramel if I ordered this again. This is a great dessert shop to visit if you find yourself in the area.

It was good but noting special. The service was quick and not alot of seating inside.

I was super excited to visit Remicone because of the cool flavors they had! It's nestled between Zion Market and The Mugs cafe. It was clean, cute inside, and easy to order due to the kiosk. But as an ice cream lover I found the ice cream kind of mid and a little too sweet. I would visit the neighboring ice cream shops in the future instead.

I had a sweet tooth craving after dinner and stopped by here because it was in the same plaza where I was having dinner. I ordered the Dubai chocolate soft serve and the yuzu cream soda float. The Dubai chocolate had a chocolate drizzle with pistachio kataifi and fresh strawberries. As always, a huge fan of anything Dubai chocolate! The yuzu cream soda float is perfect for the summer because it's refreshing and not too overly sweet. It has plain soda water with yuzu syrup and milk soft serve. Both satisfied my sweet tooth! Cute little vibe but note that they are a little bit on the pricey side

Exciting new soft serve spot in OC! I love the aesthetic. I tried their berry one. I liked the balance of flavors. It had a bunch of toppings, but it was still light. They have plenty of pre-made variety as well as the ability to build your own. You can order at the kiosk.

Checked out Remicone in Irvine and loved it! Their soft-serve sundaes are super creative and visually stunning. We tried the Thunder Bomb (the grey cotton candy with popping boba/candy is so fun) and the Dubai Chocolate Soft Serve with pistachio cream. The milk soft serve is light, creamy, and not overly sweet. Great spot for a fun treat after dinner near Zion Market! Will definitely be back to try more signature creations.

Super delicious froyo from Korea! Had to try out the new place that is next to Zion market and it did not disappoint! The ice cream is fresh and the workers are quick. Cute little spot to catch up with friends, I would recommend to anyone looking for a quick sweet treat!

I'm not huge on desserts but this place blew away my expectations Dubai chocolate soft serve: 9/10 Perfect balance of sweetness and tart from the soft serve. Strawberries were extremely fresh as well Dubai chocolate crepe: 8/10 As much as I love the taste of the Dubai chocolate in this crepe, I'm partial to tswirl with their crispy crepe opposed to the softer one served here. Still great flavor though! Strawberry cream soda float : 8/10 I'm a sucker for cream sodas and this actually was pretty good! They put a massive scoop of soft serve in it and use strawberry lemonade as a base which is different from most places who use sparkling water and syrup. Overall, I'd definitely come back again for the cute cafe vibe. It looks like what you'd imagine a dessert/ice cream shop out of your dreams would be. Service was great as well with the items coming out quickly and us being greeted as we entered the place. Come check them out!

The dessert spot was ok. Nothing to rave about, big holes in the middle of the soft serves not kid friendly, as they were bumping explicit songs. Service was fast, but only 1 worker and I did happen to go during a weird time so it wasn't too busy.

Stopped by here the other day craving a sweet treat. Parking can be limited as it is in the same plaza as Zion market. There are kiosks available inside for you to order on. I got the corn crunch and while it wasn't bad, it tasted strikingly similar to the soft serve at McDonald's. The ice cream was cute, but I don't envision myself coming back anytime soon.

Fast service and an interesting selection of soft serve desserts. The presentation is definitely part of the appeal, and that novelty is largely what you're paying for. If you've had soft serve before, you already know the base experience, but they do give a generous portion in each cup. There's seating indoors and communal seating outside that's shared with The Mugs.

There are tons of topping options and extensive menu but the actual sundae was kind of lackluster in taste. The price is pretty expensive and there is not much seating either. The graphic design of the posters in the store are super trendy and cute. You can order on iPads or at the front!

I love soft served ice cream! I came here in a Saturday night for dessert with some friends and it was quit packed. I ordered the yogurt with fruits but unfortunately they were having trouble with the machine so I substituted for the milk soft serve. It was good and my friends liked it as well... it reminded me of Honeymee.. but a little pricey for what it was but I think it's because of the added toppings and stuff. Parking was ample, staff was great, and there was plenty of seating inside.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!!…read more I haven't been to Honeymee for sooo long but I used to go and love it in LA koreatown and Sawtelle. My friend and I noticed things have changed much with Melo Melo, so we walked acrossed the street and were deciding between HeyTea and Honeymee, but we were SO GLAD we went with Honeymee to sit inside at the cute table. The lady(owner?) was so sweet and of course, my OG Honeymee was sooo GOOD. My friend's yuju drink was so refreshing and yummy, too. Honeymee will be one of my very few best dessert spots and I won't forget to come back often.

However, if you don't want to talk to anyone while ordering, a kiosk is available. Personally, my favorite item is the Sweetie, which has true milk ice cream drizzled with honey. The Honeymee -- true milk ice cream with honeycomb -- is also pretty good if you're into honeycombs. My bf's favorite is the Dear Caramel, which has a caramel drizzle topped with what is reminiscent of dalgona coffee bits. The milkshakes here are also a solid choice. While I'm still sad that my favorite and closest Honeymee location in Garden Grove closed a couple of years ago, the Irvine location is pretty reliable in terms of consistency and service.

The line wasn't too bad - since we were figuring out our strategy of which flavors to try and which flavors each of us wanted to get. There was at least 2 guys servicing us so they were pretty efficient. My friend and I both got the quad scoops, which him getting Pink Rose, White Rose, Pomegranate, & Date, while I got Cucumber, Faloodeh, Jasmine, & Saffron with Pistachio. They were incredibly generous with their scoops, the ice cream itself is the most amazing thing ever!!! All of the very unique and delicious flavor options, and the unique texture and taste of the Persian ice cream was absolutely delicious. We were just bummed out that we couldn't finish our ice creams (we shared and did our best, but absolutely could not). So we asked for a lid and attempted to bring it home, but it unfortunately spilled. Oh well, we definitely got our money's worth of the ice cream and had an incredible time here. Plaza itself was nice. Staff was great - customer service was good. 100% highly recommend and I'll definitely be back!!!

However, I was still more than happy to check them out when my gf suggested coming here. All of their hype and praise was certainly a big reason why, as well as me wanting to see what Persian ice cream tastes like, but, quite simply, how could I ever say "no" to trying a new ice cream shop? Especially to cap off such a warm evening out! While I can't say how this location compares to their spot in LA, I liked how low-key and unassuming this place felt. Past the counter/register, there's a small amount of seating to the back, but there's also a bunch of seats and tables right out in front. More importantly, though, their display case of ice cream is chock full of enticing options. Inspired by ingredients and flavors from around the world, Saffron Rose's roster of flavors is quite diverse. What's more, from their Mango and French Espresso to their Saffron & Pistachio and Passionfruit, they all looked equal parts unique and delicious! -- FRENCH ESPRESSO While it may not have been quite as amazing as I had hoped, this was still pretty good. Although I wish the taste of the espresso had been more robust, it still had a decent coffee flavor to it that I really liked. -- PASSIONFRUIT I got this mostly because I wanted something a bit tart and citric to balance the French Espresso and it did the trick. The passionfruit was refreshing and I liked that the taste of it wasn't overly acidic. -- SAFFRON WITH PISTACHIO Presumably their namesake flavor? Either way, this may not have been my favorite flavor, but it wasn't bad. The taste of saffron was decently strong and I liked how the pistachios in this added some texture. -- MANGO Of all of the flavors I've tried, this is easily my favorite. Not only did it feel rather refreshing (especially on such a warm night), but it also had a surprisingly strong taste of mango to it. -- POMEGRANATE Unfortunately, this was pretty disappointing. Much like when I got the passionfruit flavor, I wanted something fruity and light to offset the pistachio, but this was a little bit sharp and acidic for my liking. -- GREEN PISTACHIO I love pistachios, so I had some high hopes for this one, but it missed the mark for me. For whatever reason, the taste of pistachios didn't come across as well as it did with the other flavors and the chunks of pistachios felt surprisingly soft. -- PINK ROSE My least favorite of the bunch, but, to be fair, I'm also just not a fan of floral flavors and the rose water showed up most prominently in this one. Even though the first couple of bites were okay, the taste of the rose was too much for me after that. Regardless of the flavor, one thing I noticed about Saffron Rose's ice cream is that they're somewhat similar to gelato, but with a slightly gummier texture to them. What's more, all of the ice cream is made with rose water, which, as mentioned, I'm not a huge fan of, though it was pretty subtle in all of them except the Pink Rose. Also, I didn't care for the wafers they give you either. While I appreciate that they can complement the ice cream well (they resembled those classic cake ice cream cones), the wafers had more of a soft, semi-stale texture rather than a crisp one (unless that's they way they're supposed to be). All and all, considering how they're one of the only Persian ice cream joints around, Saffron Rose is by no means bad in any way. At the very least, their ice cream is certainly unique and even better than some of the gelatos I've had. However, as someone who prefers a more classic, creamy scoop of ice cream, I think Saffron Rose is just okay. My gf, on the other hand, is definitely a fan, so I'm sure more scoops of their Mango and French Espresso will be in my future the next time we visit when we're back in town again! THREE AND A HALF STARS rounded down.
