The perfect snack on a hot day! Every year my family goes strawberry picking at Tanaka Farms and after we stop by. As a person who does not like coconuts, surprisingly, I really enjoy everything at melomelo! It's not a super strong coconut flavor, just enough and the assortment of toppings make it even better! My personal favorite is the strawberry one. All in all cute shop with yummy eats and a friendly staff.

Melomelo is an awesome spot to satisfy your sweet tooth while being healthier than your typical dessert. They have a variety of different flavors, from fruity to more rich, but my go to order here is the original. It's super simple but super delicious! During my last visit, I was there with friends and they opted for banana Nutella and Oreo cream, which I'd say are the richer flavors. I tried bites of theirs and I'd say that the rich flavors don't work as well, and it may be better to stick with the plain or fruity flavors. The aesthetics here are super nice, down to the packaging of the desserts. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Service here was friendly.

Honestly, we didn't expect much but we were curious as to what this place was since we've never been there before. I'm so glad that we tried it out because everything there has been delicious that I've tried. The parking is fine as long as you go there early otherwise it becomes a hassle. I liked the salmon-pink color and the minimalism inside. The shop is clean and I liked the vibe. They don't give samples of their products either. The service was great, it went super fast, before we sat down and enjoyed our treat. I've had coconut pudding before but it wasn't as tasty as the ones here. I went for the rose pistachio coconut and it was delicious. I loved the flavor of the rose jelly like consistency mixed in and the little edible flower. My friend had the mango river and he thought it was delicious, he is about that vegan life, which I am not. LOL! I also bought the sesame walnut coconut to take home and that was super tasty too! I would love to try the other flavors that they have, but that'll have to wait till next time!

I've tried other coconut jelly spots in the past and didn't understand the hype till I tried Melo Melo. Safe to say I'm obsessed! They have a wide variety of flavors you can choose from. My favorite is the pistachio rose coconut jelly and triple matcha! There's usually someone at the front. You order from the display first and then pay at the cashier. There are a few tables inside as well as outside. They offer insulated bags if you're not eating there.

I've passed by this location many times when I'm in the plaza for boba or dim sum. I finally decided to stop by and grab a jar of their mango coconut pudding. The coconut flavor is light and the pudding itself is a little liquid, I'd prefer if it was a little more firm. The dessert itself is not too sweet, which is a big plus. I've also tried other flavors with my family and I would say my favorite is still the mango and sticky rice coconut pudding. The sticky rice adds a nice qq texture to a softer desssert. The jars are nice but I do feel like I'm paying a premium to get the jars. I wish there was a way to get it not in a glass jar because my family accumulated a lot of jars and the exchange for 10 jars doesn't feel worth it.

I have always loved MeloMelo but I'm not in Irvine too much to grab it! If I lived closer I think I'd be broke and have an addiction because they're just that good. The coconut jelly is so wiggly, soft, and perfect!! My personal favorite is the mango coconut when mangoes are in season. It's the perfect combo and I appreciate how fresh the fruit always tastes! I also love the double coconut, which has two layers of coconut jellies with different textures: one is more firm and tastes like coconut water, while the other is more soft and jiggly and resembles more of the coconut meat. All the flavors I've tried have also been good and they have seasonal and limited edition options all the time! The worker was very patient while I spent 10 years trying to decide what I wanted to order (even though I literally end up just getting my favs every time). The interior was very spacious with plenty of tables, but I felt like most people just grabbed theirs and left. They had individually packages spoons and I love that each of the jellos came in glass jars that I was able to bring home and reuse for my matchas and my chia seed puddings! The pricetag is a bit higher than most dessert places but I truly think it is worth it for a treat once in a while!

One of my favorite desserts. Love that it's not too sweet. My fav is their coconut double and jasmine coconut. Wished the jasmine was stronger but it's still super refreshing dessert! Staffs are nice and helpful. Spacious and a couple tables for seatings.

Perfect dating location! Every jar look so perfectly cute together. It's almost too cute to be eaten. I rarely come out to this corner and just found this little gem! If you like coconut or jelly desserts - this is the place for you. Price is on the higher end so I'm not sure if I want to pay $7+ for a small jar of dessert. I would have to eat a few to feel satisfied. Coconut with Jasmine tea taste lightly sweet and smooth. It was very refreshing! Staff was friendly and cordial. The inside looks cute with pretty decors. Even their to-go back is too cute to toss out. : ) Everything is already made so you just order and received the food immediately. Parking is pretty open and plenty in the front.

one of my sisters favorite places! Always have to come here because of her. We got the mango one and it has a nice texture not too sweet. It was kinda weird because because it said sold out of the mango one but when we asked the worker went to the back and got another one. They have plenty of seating inside and outside too near a fountain. There is also free wifi!

I always love coming here! The staff are happy to give you recommendations and sample the base. There are plenty of tables to enjoy in-store, but we usually take them to go.

I love this place for an after dinner dessert/hang out! The coconut pudding is so yummy and light mixed and im a huge fan of mango so that's the flavor i usually get. The cups are also super cute so if you wanna collect them and have your own little collection at home that's fun too lol It's pretty spacious inside with a good amount of tables so it was nice to grab a quick dessert and hang out for a bit. It was mostly empty but maybe that's because i went kinda late

If you're like me and usually find desserts way too sugary, you have to try Melo Melo in Irvine. Their treats are perfectly balanced, especially if you're a fan of fruit, taro, or ube flavors. You can really tell they use high-quality ingredients, and the coconut creamy jelly is absolutely delicious and addictive. The mango, taro, and ube are easily my 10/10 favorites. My only small wish is that the strawberry had actual fruit chunks in it, it has more of a jam-like consistency, but the flavor is still great. The shop itself has a cozy, charming, and clean ambiance that makes it a great spot to hang out. The service is just as good; the staff is consistently warm and helpful, always ready to explain the different layers if it's your first time. Because these are fresh dairy products, you'll want to make sure you keep them fully capped and refrigerated, eating them within three days of bringing them home. This is definitely my current go-to dessert spot, and I love that they have a sustainability program where you can get a free treat if you return five of their glass jars. I already can't wait to come back for more!

We tried the mango sago dessert and the double skin milk with fresh fruit--both were super fresh, not overly sweet, and had that comforting homemade texture. Sadly, the jasmine tea cheesecake was one of the worst desserts we've had. It tasted so unpleasant that we ended up throwing away what you see in the photo because we simply couldn't take another bite. The checkout experience was also a little unusual. The cashier told us the credit card machine wasn't working, so the only payment options were cash or sending a Zelle payment directly to the owner. There was a small handwritten sticky note with an individual's name and phone number for the Zelle payment, which felt a bit odd. To be fair, there wasn't a large selection available when we visited, so it's possible they have other pastries or desserts that are much better than what we tried. However, based on our experience, the item we purchased was disappointing, and the $12 definitely didn't feel well spent. On the positive side, the décor and overall aesthetic were lovely and were probably the bakery's strongest feature. But as the saying goes, you can't judge a book by its cover... and you can't judge a bakery by its ambience either.
