On first impressions, the interior felt uncomfortably warm with little to no circulating air, and the greeting upon arrival was lacking. To make matters worse, more than half the menu was unavailable. It would have been easier to list the items that were available, as nearly everything our group selected was out of stock. The fresh watermelon juice was served warm, which wasn't exactly refreshing. When I asked for two cups of ice, I was initially given an empty cup. After clarifying that I wanted two cups with ice in them, I was met with eye rolls and an attitude-laden response asking if I wanted six cups of ice instead. One cup of ice was eventually provided, so I had to ask a third time for the second cup, only to receive more visible frustration and poor body language from staff. This entire interaction took place in front of my party, who were equally surprised by what was happening. At one point, we genuinely wondered whether this was a real customer service interaction or an episode of Punk'd. This can't be how they normally operate. This is a healthy alternative to getting dessert after dinner. We ordered a banana yogurt fruit bowl (large size). The yogurt is definitely more liquidy in consistency almost like milk rather than thicker yogurt which I liked since it was refreshing to eat/drink. They were generous with the fruit as well. Instead of a traditional yogurt topped with fruit, everything was mixed together so the granola was not as crunchy as hoped for. Also ordered a strawberry mochi. The mochi was very nice texture and bouncy consistency although broke open prior to eating it when taking off the lid. There's a small strawberry inside and the cream filling tasted very dairy/whole milk. It's very casual inside and very quiet too (no music playing). It was silent in here. The cashier has earbuds in while he was helping us, no recommendations or anything while we were looking at the menu. Not only that, it took 10 mins to get our drink. I stumbled here accidentally- my son wanted watermelon juice after a long day outside and this was the closest place. It is located in an industrial park close to John Wayne, with ample parking. Surprisingly, open on weekends despite being in a location that generally caters to the work week. Your orders will take a little bit to come out if you order there, as they promise that they make the order only after you order. I did hear the kitchen blending watermelon, so no false advertising here. Unsure if the juice is strained, but given the seeds in the drinks I don't think so. The inside is very...white. Literally. Went searching for some desserts after dinner and found this hidden gem. Parking: This spot is located in a business plaza. Large parking lot. Plenty of free parking. Ambiance/Environment: They opened in May '24. Still fairly new. Very clean and modern inside. They have such cute fruit decor. There's very limited indoor seating and no outdoor seating. Service: There was only one worker when we visited. She had a heavy accent, but I believe she said her name was Florist. She was absolutely sweet, quick, and efficient! Desserts: 1) Banana Strawberry Yogurt Smoothie - This tasted exactly what it sounds like. The banana and strawberry flavors were equally balanced. Make sure to mix bc the yogurt is at the bottom. Also, you can force the straw through the paper; it's thin. 2) Blue Algae Coconut Yogurt - I never had blue algae before, and it sounded interesting so why not lol?! The color was aesthetically pleasing and the flavors were delicious! There was a generous amount of toppings! 3) Dried Pork Floss Mochi - Again, I wanted to try something completely different, and this sounded intimidating so why not lol?! It was actually good! The mochi was sooo soft. This was the perfect salt & sweet dessert. 4) Jasmine Green Tea Ice Jelly - This was so refreshing! I looove Jasmine green tea but never had it in a jelly form. I really enjoyed this! 5) Oreo Coconut Pudding - This was topped off with Oreo crumbs. The pudding had a light coconut flavor, and it wasn't thick. I ordered online for pickup and when I arrived they said it would take another 20-25 minutes. I was shocked but the guy explained after dinner they get a lot of orders and everything is made fresh. I patiently waited and could hear the cutting of the fruits from the kitchen. Once ready, I got home and couldn't figure out how to open the containers. When I snapped the open tab, it fell off and nothing else opened. I had to use a knife to tear it open. It was probably a me problem since no one else reported this issue. It's always a party when you discover a new dessert spot, but unfortunately @fruitpartyirvine fell a bit short for me. This super unique dessert cafe specializes in freshly cut fruit, which they offer in cups/gift boxes or incorporate into healthy smoothies, teas, lemonades, coconut puddings, jelly desserts, mochi and more! I love how they actually freshly cut each fruit for every customer and everything we ordered was well-made and really emphasized the natural sweetness and flavors of the fruit. However, it ended up taking over 1.5 hours to get all 6 of our items even with a pre-order, which was a bit of an unacceptable wait considering that there were only 6 other customers at most in the shop during that duration. They also use a cornstarch straw which literally dissolved into the drinks, and most of the desserts did not hold up well into the next day. I understand that they were insanely short staffed (only one girl was working that day) and that they're a new business, but I hope that they'll be able to get operations up to speed soon! There are so many options to fulfill your fruit cravings whether it's a smoothie/juice, yogurt, mochi, coconut pudding, or the fruit itself. Amazing fresh fruit parlor with all kinds of healthy fruit-centered snacks, desserts, and drinks! I've never been to a fruit parlor in the U.S. like Fruit Party before. The fruits are prepared individually for each order and are clearly kept as fresh as possible. You can see how big and juicy the berries are in my photo of the fruit triple cut (Mulberry + Blueberry + Strawberry)! The interior space is immaculate and has 3 tables and some counter stools as well. Doctor had given me the name of a Vietnamese grocery store in Westminster he and his wife shop at for good fruits as in mango, papaya, and kiwi. The problem is that the store only takes cash and the Yelp reviews point out problems with service. I had come across Fruit Party and had marked it as a place I wanted to try. After wrapping up the end of the school year party, my daughter and I made it over to Fruit Party. As it was our first time there, we needed longer to decide what we wanted to order. The young man was working on other orders and gave us the time to decide and look around. We finally ordered the signature ice jelly which we had talked about with him earlier, a double fruit cut of papaya and cantaloupe, a triple fruit cut of pineapple, kiwi, and green grapes, mango juice, banana yogurt smoothie, and mango yogurt. While we waited for our order to be made, we looked around. There were 2 refrigerators in which boxes of fruits and other fruits for example, yellow dragonfruit, Fukushima white peach, Hawaii papaya, and pink guava were available for sale. A group of UCI students came and bought 2 boxes of oranges and other fruits. They ate the oranges there while waiting for a drink order and were saying how sweet the oranges were. A food delivery service came to pick up orders for their customers. Other customers who had ordered online also came to pick up their orders. There was a display of artificial fruit with a poster of when the particular fruit is in season, what the health benefits are, and dishes the fruits are used in. The seating area has fruit pillows and next to that there is shelving with other snacks. The papaya tasted much better than what was brought from another place to the party. We couldn't get enough of the kiwi. The green grapes were large in size and sweet. This place makes me want to eat fresh fruit for several meals. read more
