Kokonut Dessert Bar is located inside of Duke Bakery. I love coconut products and my mom love the little jars, so I figure I get some so my mom can have the little jar to store her fish sauce. I don't mind spending a little more if I can find value and purpose for the container. When I walked in and looked at the display counter, I was disappointed to only see strawberry and mango. Strawberry is so basic and I don't like my mango that ripe. When I inquired with the staff, they said they have additional flavors in the back. I immediately wanted the Pitaya Coconut Pudding... well... too bad, it was not available. After reviewing their menu, I ended up settling on the Coconut Pudding w Mixed Fruit ($9.50). Honestly, I just didn't enjoy it. The "mixed fruit" consisted of watermelon, strawberry, blueberry and cantaloupe. Some of the fruit chunks were so big relative to how small the container was and not very bite side. The knife cuts were inconsistent. Also I would prefer it to either be berries with the strawberries and blueberries or all melons with the watermelon and cantaloupe, but I didn't really like all of that together with the coconut pudding. It was too much going on and really clashing with the star, which should have been the coconut pudding. Relative to other similar businesses in this niche, I much prefer Melo Melo. They are in the same prize range but their coconut pudding tastes better and I like their container more. I don't see a purpose to ever come back to Kokonut Dessert Bar if I'm not super into their main product.

I love this place so much! The desserts are filled with flavor, and as a bonus, you don't feel bad after eating them. The service is also top-notch, with the staff greeting us with a big smile and were highly knowledgeable about the menu. When you come in, I'd recommend ordering the mango or the peach. Both of these were A1. :)

Their packing is so cute! Located within Duke's Bakery, this place is small yet attempt at adhering to social distancing through only having 5 people in the store at a time. My friend and I both got the peach with coconut. By itself, it is not that satisfying. The coconut flakes that they package on the side enhance the taste. Because it's a new location, they were doing buy one get one half off! Sadly, mango is not in season so they did not have the mango with coconut pudding. The packaging and presentation brings this to 4 stars. Personally, I would not return for their regular prices but their quality is okay.

A regular at Duke Bakery, Kokonut sells inside Duke Bakery's storefront. They had samples which we tried and really enjoyed! So we left with 3 jars - coconut pudding without toppings - this one went bad fast, and we had to toss it. - coconut pudding with red bean and taro - lots of red bean and taro, but not quite enough pudding. would be good to get the plain in addition to this one - black sesame coconut pudding was delicious - pudding with mango and coffee pudding were good - the samples we tried. Pudding is dairy free unless you opt for the options with taro topping. I preferred pudding with fruit over red bean / taro although I do love red bean and taro. The puddings remind me of almond pudding. It's very soft and tasty without being too sweet. The shredded sweetened coconut makes it even better but just a small sprinkle of it is good imo. I don't like the bigger shredded coconut, but FYI for fellow picky coconut likers, these were small shredded coconut lol It's a bit pricey - I would just get the plain and add my own fruit at home if I weren't planning to eat right away. They are supposed to last 3 days according to the employee who helped us. I would hesitate to get more than I can eat on day 1 considering one of three went bad early!

Straight up beans Lol I can't stop laughing!! So bf got the pudding cup with Red Bean & Taro and it was straight up Frijoles lol I'm dying lol He wasn't too fond of it but still ate it cz it was a good penny .. he surprisingly liked the pudding seeing her doesn't really like coconut in a drink or to eat it whenever I get one at restaurants. I got the Mango fruit with Kokonut and mine is yummmmmmmmmmy of course I shared with my love Beans lol

Kokonut is a unique dessert bar located inside Duke's bakery. We had a hard time finding it not knowing this, plus it was really dark with few lights on around 8 pm. Kokonut makes delicious coconut based dairy free puddings. We wanted to try something different and they were delicious! We shared the strawberry and the special black sesame. Creamy, light and delicately flavored. We would definitely come back to try more flavors

I'm giving them a 3 stars because I didn't like the Taro and Red Bean. I have tasted taro and red bean in many other places and it totally doesn't taste like this. The red bean tasted like frijoles. Trust me, if I wanted frijoles, I would have just gone to a Mexican restaurant lol. But their Coconut Pudding is delicious! That is the only best part of this dessert place. And their cups are cute, that is it.

I will say this product was not exactly what I imagined it to be. I thought it would be more of a coconut yogurt style, so was slightly thrown off by the texture, but that's not why this review has low stars. The coconut pudding itself is delicious and just the right amount of flavor that not overpowering on the coconut part. However, I was very disappointed in the flavors like peach gum and mixed fruit. The peach gum did not have any peach flavor, was a bit bland, and was a kind of weird jelly texture. Plus when eaten with the coconut pudding it flattens the pudding's flavor to be not as coconut-y. If you do get it to try, I would recommend just getting coconut pudding by itself and top it with the free coconut flakes given. The coconut flakes are quite tasty and add a bit of extra texture and flavor. Another thing is I feel it's not worth the price. 1 container is about $9.50-12.00. Very steep and I think it will be a trend only. A good alternative for those who cannot enjoy dairy if you're willing to pay for it.

Kokonut Dessert Bar is located inside Duke's Bakery! I ordered the Mango Coconut Pudding ($8.50) with additional coconut flakes ($0.50), which was about $9 altogether. The coconut pudding itself was delicious and not too sweet, which is what I prefer! The mango pieces were ripe and sweet! For a steep price of $9, I don't think the coconut flakes should be an additional $0.50. In addition, while the jar itself was cute, it is plastic and not glass. While the dessert was good, the price was honestly rather steep for a small jar. I'll be back, but like most of the reviews here, I think this place is quite pricey.

Although only the most recent rating counts towards this business, I want to at least let the owners know how cool of a dude the guy was working there. Super amazing service and super friendly! I always go late after dinner, so they tend to run out of most of the fruit; but he's always genuinely apologetic for running out even though it's my fault. It's always good to see him there with that energy right before closing. Refreshing to know there are awesome, hardworking people out there.

I never would have tried this adorable dessert bar if it weren't for my friends and winning a foodie giveaway on IG, but I'm so glad I did! I ordered the mango pudding because it was their most popular flavor and THE COCONUT FLAKES truly make the difference. Mangoes are my favorite froot; so sweet and matches any dessert. They packaged the jar carefully in a resealable bag to endure the greatest quality and customer service was 5 stars! I don't think I would come back as the size is pretty shmol for its price but she definitely satisfied my sweet cravings ^____^

Placed an order for 3 double scoop cups (all they had) and took a really long time to make them having to figure out where the flavors were between the front and back of store. Then. They didn't have lids to cover them or a bag to put them in - so we literally covered each cup with another cup and put in a box I had from Costco in my trunk to get them home without dripping everywhere in my car. And I say dripping everywhere bc by the time he finished the last cup/. The others were melted from taking so long. They should probably just stick to donuts if they can't fully support the ice cream products. If I knew now/ I wouldn't have chosen to try there for ice cream. Very unfortunate, bc we probably would have loved the ice cream - but the experience clearly trumped the product.

My favorites were definitely the lavender, pistachio, and the Italian chocolate. The lavender was the most unique and would absolutely be the one I bring to wow new people. The pistachio was rich, creamy, and really well balanced. The Italian chocolate was deeply chocolatey, exactly how I like it, and I finished the whole thing in one sitting. The rose flavor is definitely for people who truly enjoy rose desserts. The strawberry was the only one that did not fully match my expectations from a high end bakery. The tiramisu was decent, more cream-forward and lighter on the coffee flavor than I expected. Overall, these pastries are definitely on the sweeter, cream-based side, and honestly, that is exactly what made them so good to me. I do not want desserts to be less sweet, I want them to feel indulgent and perfect, and these did. I will absolutely keep going back, especially for the lavender, chocolate, and pistachio pastries.

Instead, he recommended the *Creamtella* and their matcha beverages. I was absolutely blown away; who would have thought that *Cheesetella's matcha drinks would be this delicious?! There is a wide selection of matcha drinks available in-store. The owner mentioned that they use high-quality matcha (I'm guessing he meant ceremonial grade?), and he even showed me their preparation process--specifically how they whisk it to achieve that smooth, "mirror-like" finish! Matcha Einspanner Personally, I prefer this kind of simple flavor profile: matcha blended with a rich, thick cream topping. It offers a satisfyingly subtle tea aroma with every sip--a true delight for any matcha enthusiast! Strawberry Matcha w/ Pistachio Cream If you love strawberries and enjoy sweet flavors, you'll likely enjoy this one. However, since I'm not personally a huge fan of the combination of strawberry jam and matcha, I felt just "okay" about it--though it is a tasty drink! The pistachio cream topping definitely earns some extra points here! Creamtella The combination of cream and cake gave me a whole new appreciation for their pastries. The cream perfectly counteracts the cake's tendency to be a bit dry; together, they make for a truly perfect pairing! You absolutely *must* give this a try!! It gets a huge thumbs-up from me! Chocotella This one is fairly standard and straightforward. The small chocolate pieces add a nice textural element, and the flavor is a definite plus--especially if you're a chocolate lover! However, the cake itself leans a bit toward the drier side--much like their original plain flavor (which is why I still highly recommend going for the versions with added cream!) To be honest, the first time I tried their cakes, I wasn't particularly impressed. Later, I saw posts suggesting that heating them up before eating makes them taste much better. But this time, the *Creamtella* truly blew me away, completely changing my opinion of the brand. And the matcha drinks are just the icing on the cake! The owner is genuinely a wonderful person--so friendly and enthusiastic! Since it's just him and one other employee working in the shop, making the drinks takes a little time, so please be patient! ^_^

I had expected the business to be in a more high volume area, however a benefit of their corner spot was that the parking lot had plenty of spaces. There's no indoor seating, but outdoor tables were set up along the north and east perimeters of the building. I was by myself at this latest visit, and it was close to the end of the day so the inventory was quite depleted. There was no line at all which was not a surprise. The famous Strawberry Croissants and prepackaged items were on refrigerated display to the left when you walked in. As the service counter rounded a corner, there were more fresh baked goods on display before you reached a register. Across from the registers were shelves containing bags of fresh bread products. I bought a Strawberry Croissant, a Sticky Bun, a Ham and Cheese Croissant, and an Apple Croissant. The quality of the pastry dough was very good, and I could see why the Strawberry Croissant was a favorite with the customers. The croissants were light and flakey, and the powdered sugar added a delicate topping to the strawberry version. If I were to rate on just the Strawberry Croissant, then it would be five stars. My overall rating was downgraded because of the customer traffic flow. The lines can be optimized so that if you wanted to buy a six-pack of the Strawberry Croissants and/or anything prepackaged, then a separate queue should be arranged for those customers. The cafeteria trays were of limited use if you were not getting a large number of items. As you advanced in the queue, other products had to be requested from a worker behind the counter and then those were not placed on the tray. Ultimately, I think they can configure the operation to more efficiently handle the higher volume periods of the day.
