Such a wonderful spot to bring my youngest daughter for her favorite sweet treats! She LOVES macarons, especially if it is from Honey & Butter in Irvine. The store itself is SO cute! There's girly gifts you can buy and spots for photos - this place is amazing. The ladies here are ALWAYS so helpful and so friendly every time we visit. The packaging here for the items are pretty as well. A single macarons starts at about $4, which is worth it because this place brings so much joy to my daughter - she walks out with a smile every time. It's been a while since I've been here, but I'm happy to report that it's still just as yummy as I remembered! The whole place is dripping in cuteness! One of the owners was helping me and my friend order on this day and she was just so kind and welcoming. She informed us that their love and deep space event just ended, but we were welcome to their free art prints. The sesame mochi macaron that I got this time had a nice, strong flavor and a wonderful chewy texture. It's probably best that I live so far away because I think I'd probably end up coming way too often otherwise!

I was looking for a dessert spot after dinner and decided to check this place out because of its beautiful setup. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by Ash, who was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and kind. She took the time to explain the menu and helped me decide what to order, which I really appreciated. The macarons were absolutely delicious, and the whole experience exceeded my expectations. Great customer service can make all the difference, and Ash truly made my visit welcoming. I'll definitely be coming back. Overall, Ash was amazing and so sweet. Highly recommend this place
Amazing customer service - they take dietary restrictions very seriously and I really appreciated the effort that went into sharing which options would be safe for me. Hojicha brownie: I've never seen an entire piece of brownie in a macaron like this before; a lil over-indulgent so I needed to take a break after eating this one before I ate the others, but the brownie was soft and chewy and I liked the flavor combination. Mango sticky rice: I think this was my favorite of the ones I got tonight - there's mango puree and bits of sticky rice mixed into the cream. Pandan coconut: If you like less sweet sweets, this is the one; it still has a sweetness to it, but noticeably less so than the other 2 above. I usually get a milk and honey macaron, but they had just sold out for the night... so make sure you stop by earlier on in the day if there's a certain flavor you're eyeing!

Coming back to add more photos and opinions on new flavors! Today we tried Bunny Cake, Cookie Butter, and Banana Milkshake. All three flavors hit it out of the park! My favorite thing about the banana milkshake is that it didn't taste artificial. Keep it up!
Macarons here are better than most I've had in Paris (in my humble opinion). Buttercream is not too sweet and very buttery, great for those who like the desserts to be less sweet. Staff are very helpful and patient! Lots of cute macarons and they taste fantastic. Always a lot of cute decorations and photo ops inside the store too. Favorites are the enchanted berry, but can't go wrong with any of the flavors!
I came back for more macaroons!!!! I bought a total of 18 macaroons. Service is always friendly and fast. Got my points after checking in and took some pictures and left the store happily ~!

I got the tiramisu macaron and it's pretty good. I would get it again. I can't believe they're still open though, it's been like 10 years.
I've enjoyed many flavors at honey and butter, which changes their flavors every week. My favorite flavor in their staples that doesn't change is pistachio. I've enjoyed the taro sticky rice, which had a nice sticky rice texture but did not have much taro flavor. My favorite flavor from the rotations have been PANDAN COCONUT She is a scrumptious dream come true for $3.25 per macaron. I've also enjoyed carrot cake, mango sticky rice, mango lemonade and Nutella, which were all memorable and yummy!
10/10 Snickers Macaroon - This place always has the best macarons, and I love how they're constantly switching up the menu. It was my first time trying the Snickers flavor and it definitely didn't disappoint. It's incredibly flavorful with so many distinct layers to it. Cost - $3.25.

I've had Honey & Butter Macarons on my list since high school, about 15 years ago, so I was so happy to finally visit! I originally found them through Instagram because of all their adorable character macarons. Their mall storefront only had the regular macarons when I visited, so I'm assuming the character designs are more of a special-order item. Either way, the regular macarons were still so cute and, more importantly, delicious. They're much larger than the average macaron and have a very generous amount of filling. The shells are soft, moist, and almost cakey rather than dry or overly crisp, which I really liked. Flavor-wise, the passionfruit yuzu was a little more tart than I personally prefer, but the crème brûlée and raspberry rose were some of my favorites. I've been coming here for years and love this precious macaron spot. The macaron flavors are SOOO UNIQUE and am in awe of how well they find different flavor combos. I stalk their instagram every week to find out what the flavors of the week are. This time I got: Corn: 10/10 This might be in my top two favorite flavors just under pandan coconut. The sweetness of the corn and the creaminess of the filling complement each other soo well. It is a harmonious matrimony in my mouth. What a decadent dessert but I keep coming back for more. The whipped cream is layers with bits of fresh cut corn. The intention and intricacy behind this masterpiece needs to be studied. Taro Sticky Rice: 10/10 At first bite the taro flavor was pretty subtle. However after digging into the middle I was pleasantly surprised to see fresh taro inside! Similar to the corn fresh taro was layered into the macaron. It was absolutely delicious Brownie Oreo: 10/10 My fiancé got this one and they put a whole brownie in between the macaron. The best macarons I have ever had. The flavors are so incredible and unique, and the texture is even better. Perfectly soft, chewy, and light. Each flavor is superb and beautifully made. The place is decorated with tons of cute plushies. The staff are very friendly, sometimes offering free samples. Great place for a small dessert or gift box. read more
They have really cute Pokemon themed macarons from Mimikyu to Pikachu to Vulpix. Not only that but their flavors are very good and reasonably sized for their price. The Nutella one was my favorite--perfectly nutty and chocolatey. Really aesthetic location in Spectrum. read more
This is one of the places I've fell in love with during my high school days. I rarely got to come to this place but I would religiously follow this place on all socials and platforms to inspire my pastry chef endeavors. These macarons are a work of art made by masters in their craft! The staff in this establishment is always so sweet and helpful when I come! The interior is one of the most beautiful sights to behold! SEASONAL FLAVOR: Strawberry Yuzu - the only flavor was yuzu, couldnt taste much of the strawberry. if you like citrus, get this. I go to honey and butter ever so often and its always a hit. As a star wars girlie I couldnt miss out on the themed macarons and they were INCREDIBLE. They always really great flavors and are reasonably priced. Theyre worth every penny. Theyre freshly made every morning. The employees are so sweet and they often do special store events. Review 96/365 Day Challenge This is a long and awaited review that needs to be done! My gosh...after having these scrumptious Honey & Butter Macarons...my gosh it's like each bite is Heaven!!! Finally took my middle son here for his Birthday Month on 09.27.25 When he 1st had these scrumptious was in Spring of this year along during the holidays last year. He's been talking about it since and keeps asking when are we gonna get more macarons cookies from Honey & Butter. It's that's delicious. Love how they have weekly different flavors of macarons. Been following them on Instagram and they usually post their flavors of the week, they offer unique flavors too. Recommended ~ Milk & Honey is an original and so darn scrumptious. My son's fav flavor of all time. Tastes just like the name of the flavor. ~ Creme Brulee is always a fan favorite especially in our house hold. So yummy n the caramelized top is so yum along w the filling. Perfection. Their macarons are a great big size, really fluffy cookies and their filling isn't overly sweet. I've had their macarons a few days later and it's still as yummy as the fresh ones. Kept in fridge to keep it moist and bring it out an hour before devouring it, so it can be room temperature. The shop is so darn cute w 2 swings for cute Photos & their wall art is amazingly done. Definitely a great photo op place. Their packaging boxes when you buy 6 is really cute and makes great sweet treat gifts. Located in Irvine Spectrum outdoor shopping center that we frequently visit. I remember when this used to be in a airstream trailer at The LAB @ Costa Mesa and how they have weekly different macaron's there designs and collab are always adorable and find cute! You could never go wrong with their OG Honey & Butter Macaron if this will be your first time going and trying them out. The workers are always helpful and very knowledgeable and when you ask them about allergies and what's on each macaron ingredients they are very helpful. i am forever obsessed with honey & butter and their rotation of flavors. whenever i am craving a sweet treat, a stop here always scratches the taste buds just right. the staff is always so friendly whenever i visit, and it's so clear the amount of care that goes into the creations each week. i love that they are always switching up their menu, trying new things, and have different collabs going on all the time. their creature macarons always turn out so cute and i'm obsessed with them every time!! i always like to keep up with them on instagram. they're very active about what collabs are happening or what flavors they have during the week, whether they're the scheduled menu or a surprise character they decided to showcase for the day. i also appreciate that they have a number you can call or text to check what they still have in stock, in case you only want a specific flavor, before you make the trip there. read more
Honey & butter is one of my favorite macaron spots! Whenever I visit OC, I try to stop by before heading home. The shop is so adorable, and while the like can get long, it always moves quickly. The staff is so friendly, which makes the visit better. They switch out their flavors every week, which is exciting. But, also a little risky for me if the week's selection isn't quite my favorite. Last time before I visited, I emailed to see if they take flavor requests, and they said they'd consider it, which was so nice. I tried milk & honey, oreo, fruity pebbles, birthday cake, sea salt dark chocolate, hojicha milk tea, and strawberries & cream! Honey & Butter's macarons are absolutely delicious! The dark chocolate peanut butter macaron was such a wonderful surprise,the peanut butter filling in the middle was generous, creamy, and added the perfect balance to the rich chocolate flavor. Overall good texture. - Matcha (5/5): Wow, what great matcha taste that came out. The center is just a LITTLE bit more powdery than the rest so that might be from the use of the matcha powder to give it that strong taste but did not come off as fishy as some poorer quality matcha might. - Pistachio (5/5): Classic and very strong flavor profile. - French Toast (5/5): Tasted just like french toast! And the little french toasts on it are so cute! - Fruity Pebbles (5/5): Tasted just like fruity pebbles! Reminds me of my childhood when I used to have the cereal. The service is always on point. I was at the spectrum today and I had a very large dinner but that could not stop me from getting macarons. I exercised restraint and only got 6. My favorite will always be the Fruity Pebbles macaron but I look forward to the special featured flavors. Today I also got yuzu and Oreo. read more

finally tried the iconic Honey & Butter the cutest macarons in OC and yes... they're almost too pretty to eat I got: Milk & Honey ×2 Crème Brûlée Mochi & Cream French Toast (cat) Milk & Honey (panda) the shells were perfectly crisp soft & chewy inside, and the honey buttercream makes them less sweet than typical macarons so the flavors actually stand out highlights: * Milk & Honey - their signature for a reason. light, creamy, not overpowering * Crème Brûlée - rich, custardy vibes with that caramelized sweetness * Mochi & Cream - fun texture moment!! not gonna lie -- you're definitely paying for the design + experience but the rotating flavors + Asian-inspired creativity are what keep people coming back and the character macarons?? straight up edible art. pro tip: come early because the popular designs sell out fast (and the line is real ) would I get them again? for a special treat or to impress someone -- absolutely read more
I've walked by this place so many times and today I finally decided to try one! So many flavors to choose from it was hard to decide but I only wanted to buy one. I went for a more traditional flavor of pistachio since I love pistachio. This is one of the best macarons I ever tasted. A crispy shell on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside and the pistachio filling was light and creamy and sooooo yummy! The pistachio flavor actually tasted like pistachio and not artificial. Love coming here and grabbing some desserts. They have weekly flavors that get changed out every Thursday and for their size and price it's actually a good deal. Super friendly staff and indoor ambiance screams cuteness! They also have swag here for sale so that's good. They are always busy baking fresh macaroons as the store smells so good and buttery as you enter. I got the enchanted berries and milk and honey. Delicious. My kiddos got the Oreo and crème brûlée. Visited with my girls on a Saturday and they had capybara theme, which is all the rage right now. Tried the macarons again and they are just too sweet for me and not really my type of dessert. You'll spend around $30 for a dozen, give or take if you get any of the special edition ones. But, standard ones are $2.50/ea.
