Matcha tornado is so addicting so yummy, sweet and can taste the matcha. Could probably get away with 80% sweetness but 100% if you wanna indulge. The matcha flavor balances out the sugar. Same for Thai tea tornado, good but sweet, will probably do 80% next time for that one. That one little too sweet. And I think my boba melted by smoothie. But overall yummy and would come again!!! Quick and easy ordering via kiosks and not too long of a wait on a Wed night, and there's also easy online ordering if you prefer. Tried the seasonal Yuzu drinks and really enjoyed how vibrant and refreshing the Yuzu citrus flavors were. Definitely a delicious summer option. Inside, they have a self-ordering kiosk machine and a couple tables for seating. You really cannot go wrong with anything you order here. I really enjoy trying their new seasonal drinks. This was the first time trying this location, and it was really good! Parking is very easy, it is in a plaza that has a few different restaurants and stores, but it doesn't seem like the parking would get crowded like other plazas in the area. Like most boba places these days, you order at a self service kiosk. The drinks were really good! Second time at this new TP Tea location and the experience was great. The first time was during the soft opening when the line was very long (out the door), and I simply got back in my car and left. This time things were way more mellow since they didn't have the BOGO deals. The line moved pretty quickly and the kiosks are always super convenient for quick ordering. I got the Mango Ice Tea that has the House Special Mango Purée with Green Tea and Ai Yu Lemon Jelly. The drink was well made and the adjustment to 30% sweetness was accurate. The interior was nice and clean. They had some seating inside that I was a little surprised about, I was expecting mostly a grab and go setup. The plaza can be difficult when it comes to parking. The best way to avoid the congestion is to enter the plaza from the TP Tea side (near KFC) as opposed to going in from the main entrance. Overall, I'm glad this place is opened because I used to go to Sunright on Jeffrey for my fruit teas and now that it's closed, this is a good option that's fairly close by. read more

I came during soft opening and I have to say I really missed TP Tea and they delivered There is just something about walking into a boba shop, ordering in person, and getting your drink in like five minutes. Lately it feels like everywhere else you either wait forever or have to order ahead super early and pick up and the staff inside look super stressed the whole time. TP Tea stays consistent with their super efficient process and I love that, especially during a soft opening. I got the yuzu emerald tea with the QQ noodles and it had great yuzu flavor. TP Tea is, more or less, a pretty average boba stop. This TP Tea is in a decently busy plaza which is also home to many other boba related places, so in general, it's hard to stand out when the area is jam-packed. The selection is extremely diverse, however, with a menu that has a *ton* of options to choose from. That is pretty nice itself, but other than that, I'm not too keen on the location. I ordered a boba milk tea and mango ice tea because of the opening promotion, but I wasn't that big of a fan of the boba milk tea itself. In my opinion, the milk and tea didn't exactly go together, which is strange to say, but I found it a bit... different I guess. TP tea is definitely my go-to for quality milk teas and toppings. I'm so happy that this one opened near my work! It's took over Soma Tea and is right across from KFC. Parking is a hit or miss depending on the time and day. My favorite is the TGY milk tea with either grass jelly, tea jelly, pudding, or crystal boba. The lychee strawberry smoothie is also good! It's the one boba shop I can rely on to be consistent. Service was fairly quick the few times I've been here and there are some seating located inside of the store. read more

This is the second location of TP Tea! The original one we've gone to is off Main St in Irvine. This is in the same plaza as KFC and Sunright, directly across from HeyTea. The drinks only one in one size and range from $7-8 . They have self-service kiosks and a modern ambiance. The drinks are customizable and I would recommend the Family Milk Tea if you want a little of everything. Adjust the ice to less, 50% or less sweetness since the toppings are sweetened and you have a sweet treat! Came here on a Saturday 7 pm for their grand opening promo BOGO and the wait wasn't too bad. From lining up to getting my drink, it only took 25 minutes. They were out of some toppings but I was still able to order from their BOGO selection. I got the Tie Guan Yin milk tea with boba. The tea flavor is great, with a good balance of the milk. Their boba today was also really good, nice and chewy! Other times I've gotten boba from their other location, it was a bit hard and no flavor, so this was a nice change! I also got their Fantastic fruit tea which comes with basil seeds. It has a good citrus flavor, not too sour. The description does say it comes with apple slices but mine only came with orange slices. Not sure if it was an error or they ran out, but it was still a good drink! Taiwan Professional aka TP Tea opened another location in Irvine at Jeffrey and Walnut. I dragged my DH here for a tea since I love some delicious milk tea in order to break the monotony of my day. There was a short line when we showed up. I placed my order with the kiosk on the wall. It was really straightforward but if you had questions, I think you can get one of the staff to answer them for you. I opted for the Jasmine Snow milk tea, less ice, 50% sweet, with house-made taro paste. I paid with my digital wallet and was texted my order receipt. I actually went to move my car as I was not initially aware of the ample parking next to the KFC on this side of the plaza. The cafe is small and cute with bright lighting and furniture. While I'm sure it's a cute place to spend an afternoon, it's small and we ordered our tea to go. The tea had the perfect amount of sweetness from the taro and I was happy with it. My husband is not into textures so he made a face when he tried it. More for me! TP Tea is a great spot to get your tea fix. read more

Came here on a weekend with my friends after playing PoGo, and was excited to try out a new tea spot. The shop itself was the modern boba shop look, with an organic feel to it. There's some seating, but definitely more of a pick up spot. I saw that they had a wintermelon tea, and opted to get that. We ordered on the kiosk, and waited maybe 5-10 minutes for our drinks. The wintermelon tea is different from the one I'm used to from Boiling Point. TP's drink felt richer and almost chocolatey/mocha-y, and I wasn't a huge fan of it. I did try my other friend's drink, which was one of the yuzu lemonade specials that they had. That one was so good and refreshing! It was slightly carbonated, and the little fruit jelly bits at the bottom made it so tasty! It's located across from the HeyTea plaza, but luckily parking wasn't difficult at all! read more

A friend notified me that this branch had a sale, so I decided to go here. The line was far too long when it opened initially, so I just waited out until they had another sale. I think it used to be where the Soma used to be. In comparison to the branch closer to the airport, one can tell that the clientele that shows up here is different, as there was a greater presence of kids here which were disruptive to my ability to order and move to some extent. One even pressed random buttons on the kiosk and racked up a $62 bill for no good reason which they didn't complete. Luckily the order timed out so the next person could use the kiosk. I ordered with a human cashier since the offer required me to order verbally and use Instagram. I think they understood me well enough to get my order right. I put in my rewards number on their cash register as well for points. It came out relatively fast since there was no crowd. The drink tasted good as well. Parking in this plaza isn't that easy to do. There are a lot of PokéStops and Pokémon GO gyms in the plaza as well if one needs to play while waiting. read more

I've been to this new location a few times over the past few months hoping it would get better. What I've noticed is that the quality of tea and boba at this location is significantly worse than their other Main Street location. The boba does not taste as fresh and the tea is just not as good. I like that this new location is closer to where I live but I'm almost inclined to drive to the Main Street location instead (which is always packed). I think with a few tweaks this new location could be successful but I think there are some quality control issues going on at the moment! read more

Poor review is for making it difficult to customize drinks. This is the only place that pre-determines toppings with their drinks. Most other tea spots allow you to select your topping. When I asked if I can replace a cubed boba with black boba, their response was you can delete the topping and pay to add boba. Why would anyone pay more? I visited TP Tea for the first time to try their BOGO sesame drinks promotion and completed my purchase, but the experience left me both uncomfortable and disturbed. While I was there, I witnessed another customer trying to redeem the same BOGO offer. The senior staff member (who appeared to be a manager or owner) told her she had bought yesterday and cannot get BOGO Free purchase today. Thankfully, she was able to proceed only because her mom was there and hadn't bought before. What stood out to me was how strict and closely tracked the promotion seemed. The manager/owner actually remembers customers' faces, which made the whole situation even more uneasy and honestly, ridiculous. There were other people there witnessing the incident as well. As for the drinks, they were just okay--Considering the price point of $7+ per drink. I've never experienced such tight restrictions on a BOGO promotion at other boba shops, where the focus is usually on letting customers enjoy and try different flavors so they'll come back. Overall, I won't be returning after this experience. It doesn't feel like a sustainable way to run a business, as how customers are treated directly impacts whether they return. With multiple boba shops in the area, customer experience matters more than ego. read more
