Quick and easy ordering via kiosks and not too long of a wait on a Wed night, and there's also easy online ordering if you prefer. Tried the seasonal Yuzu drinks and really enjoyed how vibrant and refreshing the Yuzu citrus flavors were. Definitely a delicious summer option. Ambiance is casual and there are a few areas for seating indoors and outdoors in the plaza. A nice spot to catch up with a friend. Looking forward to coming back and trying more items on the menu.

TP Tea now has a second location in Irvine and this one is on Jeffrey Rd. It is located in the same plaza where the KFC is and where there is a solid amount of parking spots. Inside, they have a self-ordering kiosk machine and a couple tables for seating. You really cannot go wrong with anything you order here. I really enjoy trying their new seasonal drinks. I got the Yuzu Splash Frosty and was not disappointed!

Checked out this new location for the sesame BOGO promotion. There is limited seating inside for guest to use while waiting for the drinks. The server was friendly and busy creating the drink orders. They have option to order the drinks via kiosk as well. The promo required me to order the same drinks for the promotion. I ordered the iron goddess sesame milk tea with boba. The boba was good and the milk tea has a hint of black sesame. Will have to come back to try other flavors.

We came to this plaza for another reason and were beyond excited when we saw TP Tea in the corner! My husband and I first tried this place in Vegas, and it became our "go to" spot for milk tea up there. Parking was effortless the day we came (soft opening), and the staff was welcoming when we entered. You can order at the kiosk or at the counter. Cute interior which isn't too big, but there are a few tables and chairs inside. Order up: Strawberry Milk Tea (w/ boba) Black Milk Tea Tasted just as great here in Irvine as it did in Vegas! LOL. CHEERS till next time...

Second time at this new TP Tea location and the experience was great. The first time was during the soft opening when the line was very long (out the door), and I simply got back in my car and left. This time things were way more mellow since they didn't have the BOGO deals. The line moved pretty quickly and the kiosks are always super convenient for quick ordering. I got the Mango Ice Tea that has the House Special Mango Purée with Green Tea and Ai Yu Lemon Jelly. The drink was well made and the adjustment to 30% sweetness was accurate. The interior was nice and clean. They had some seating inside that I was a little surprised about, I was expecting mostly a grab and go setup. The plaza can be difficult when it comes to parking. The best way to avoid the congestion is to enter the plaza from the TP Tea side (near KFC) as opposed to going in from the main entrance. Overall, I'm glad this place is opened because I used to go to Sunright on Jeffrey for my fruit teas and now that it's closed, this is a good option that's fairly close by.

I came during soft opening and I have to say I really missed TP Tea and they delivered There is just something about walking into a boba shop, ordering in person, and getting your drink in like five minutes. Lately it feels like everywhere else you either wait forever or have to order ahead super early and pick up and the staff inside look super stressed the whole time. TP Tea stays consistent with their super efficient process and I love that, especially during a soft opening. I got the yuzu emerald tea with the QQ noodles and it had great yuzu flavor. I think quality is pretty consistent with the other TP Tea in irvinez This location took over the old Soma spot in the plaza and it is super cute. There are about four tables and even a comfy couch if you want to sit and sip for a bit. And of course the little boba guy logo is still adorable as always

Tasty! I was glad to see that their drinks and menu are consistent with their other locations. Everything tasted amazing, and they have a huge variety to choose from. My mom is crazy picky when it comes to her boba drink, but she really enjoyed the TGY Family Milk Tea! Be sure to adjust the sweetness level of the drinks to your liking -- I recommend 50% for everything! * TGY Family Milk Tea: 10/10 - yummy toppings and good flavor * Lychee Aloe Fruit Tea: 10/10 - just the way I like my lychee teas * Passion Fruit Green Tea: 7/10 - tea itself was a bit more sour than expected * Boba: 8/10 - soft and chewy but smaller than we would like The shop is located in the popular Arbor Village Center, so parking will be quite difficult. The workers were very friendly and welcoming, even though they were very busy at the time. The interior also has a booth and some tables to sit at, but I don't recommend it for large groups. Compared to the other boba shops in the area, their prices are pretty reasonable, and we didn't have to wait too long for our drinks. We'll definitely be back if we're ever in the area!

Quick ordering, fast to get out drinks too. The place is clean with cute seating. Drink was good and the coffee jelly was good.

Steep Thoughts: Florence's Quest for (Her) Perfect Black Milk Tea Black milk tea: 1.5/2. I got the Milk Tea, less ice, 30% sweet. This is an excellent standard black milk tea, creamy and smooth with a mild and slightly caramel-y flavor. It's a little sweet for what I would expect 30% to be, but not overwhelmingly so. Other drinks: 1/1. Good variety of milky and fruity teas, including some specialty teas like Tieguanyin and a few hot and non-caffeinated drink options. Ambiance: 1/1. Simple and functional shop with several tables, chairs, and booth-style seats. No WiFi that I can see, but otherwise a good place to work if you can grab a seat. There's even an outlet under one of the booths! Service: 0.5/1. Order via two digital kiosks or at the counter. I went during the soft opening period, so there was a bit of a wait for my drink. Hopefully things will speed up as the shop becomes established; there's a lot of competition when it comes to boba shops in this plaza and the one across the street. Total: 4/5

TP Tea is, more or less, a pretty average boba stop. This TP Tea is in a decently busy plaza which is also home to many other boba related places, so in general, it's hard to stand out when the area is jam-packed. The selection is extremely diverse, however, with a menu that has a *ton* of options to choose from. That is pretty nice itself, but other than that, I'm not too keen on the location. I ordered a boba milk tea and mango ice tea because of the opening promotion, but I wasn't that big of a fan of the boba milk tea itself. In my opinion, the milk and tea didn't exactly go together, which is strange to say, but I found it a bit... different I guess. The mango ice tea was better, but the boba milk tea was off when I had it, so I'm a bit skeptical.

    Charles W.

I was disappointed with the Mango Boba Milk Tea. The menu photo shows fresh mango, but the drink I received didn't contain any real mango pieces at all. It tasted like mango syrup mixed with milk instead of fresh fruit. If you're expecting real mango, this isn't it. I hope they either use fresh mango or update the menu photos to better reflect what customers will actually receive.

This is the second location of TP Tea! The original one we've gone to is off Main St in Irvine. This is in the same plaza as KFC and Sunright, directly across from HeyTea. The drinks only one in one size and range from $7-8 . They have self-service kiosks and a modern ambiance. The drinks are customizable and I would recommend the Family Milk Tea if you want a little of everything. Adjust the ice to less, 50% or less sweetness since the toppings are sweetened and you have a sweet treat! Their pudding tastes custardy, coffee jelly has a nice chew, and the boba is smaller than normal but great texture.

Taiwan Professional aka TP Tea opened another location in Irvine at Jeffrey and Walnut. I dragged my DH here for a tea since I love some delicious milk tea in order to break the monotony of my day. There was a short line when we showed up. I placed my order with the kiosk on the wall. It was really straightforward but if you had questions, I think you can get one of the staff to answer them for you. I opted for the Jasmine Snow milk tea, less ice, 50% sweet, with house-made taro paste. I paid with my digital wallet and was texted my order receipt. I actually went to move my car as I was not initially aware of the ample parking next to the KFC on this side of the plaza. The cafe is small and cute with bright lighting and furniture. While I'm sure it's a cute place to spend an afternoon, it's small and we ordered our tea to go. The tea had the perfect amount of sweetness from the taro and I was happy with it. My husband is not into textures so he made a face when he tried it. More for me! TP Tea is a great spot to get your tea fix.
