The best part is the toppings! The mini bobas are perfectly chewy (but not starchy). Then of course the real reason why I come here 2x a week is the red beans add-on! Most boba shops don't have red beans. My go to order: green milk tea with no sugar and added red beans (no blended). If you're feeling brave, add grass jelly or mini bobas! Trust me! This boba spot is tucked inside of the orange tree square shopping center next to 99ranch. I got the Uji Matcha Latte and it was good! We decided to go to Wushiland while we were waiting to eat at another restaurant in the plaza. When we went there was a few parties there as well. There's two iPads in the store to order and you can also order upfront if you need to, but they're often busy making the drinks behind! Hubby and I popped in for an after-dinner treat. We saw someone ordering at the counter with the person so we went to the kiosk to the side to get our order in. He asked the staff about hubby's drink and I think someone finally started on it at that point?? We waited a while longer, as more drinks continued to get pushed out and I followed up again and it looked like the person might have set aside hubby's drink and didn't finish it up until the counter guy asked again. It was confusing and weird and the guy didn't really say anything about it or apologize. Just handed us our drinks. He seemed also puzzled as to why the drink wasn't done. By the time we left, there were only a handful of latecomers waiting on their drinks. Honestly, I probably can't give an unbiased review on the taste of the beverages as I was kinda bothered by that experience. Hubby loved his drink, though, the Ovaltine Macchiato with ice cream added. The thing was literally 1,000 calories! (does not factor into my review lol). One of the newer boba spots in the Irvine area. The parking lot can get crowded at times, but there was a decent amount on a weekday afternoon. It looks like they had an order kiosk, but it wasn't on so we ordered at the register. The staff was friendly and there were a lot of good sounding options on the menu. They offer 25oz drinks and they have a sign that says if you're not satisfied with your drink you can exchange it. There are a couple of benches inside where you can sit and wait for your drinks. The drinks were made within a couple of minutes. I ordered a brown sugar green tea latte with boba with less ice and 50% sugar. We also got another drink with 100% sugar. The sweetness tasted the same for both drinks. The brown sugar flavor was very overwhelmingly strong that we could not taste any of the tea flavor. On opening day they had 2 cashiers taking orders (unlike other shops that only had 1 cashier...ahem), so while there was a line it moved quickly.
