I love these cup sizes- I feel like they are way bigger than the average boba cup size? and I usually get TP Tea, which has smaller boba, so it is nice that these tapioca balls are so big! This location is in the corner close to 99 Ranch Market and Tesla superchargers, and right behind the 5 freeway. The ambiance inside is pretty trendy, but the service today was subpar- I was not greeted until she finished wiping down all of the drinks, and she just said, "Did you order yet..." so, definitely customer service could be worked on, but my 50% sweetness Earl grey milk tea was superb.
Last two times I went, the drinks all had a layer of clear sweetener at the bottom. The drinks aren't even shaken when made. Very sadly cannot recommend them anymore.
This is by far our favorite boba shop!! Consistently good- you can taste equal parts tea and non-dairy milk (yes I'm lactose intolerant)! Sugar and ice levels can be adjusted. The best part is the toppings! The mini bobas are perfectly chewy (but not starchy). Then of course the real reason why I come here 2x a week is the red beans add-on! Most boba shops don't have red beans. My go to order: green milk tea with no sugar and added red beans (no blended). If you're feeling brave, add grass jelly or mini bobas! Trust me! It's good!! ;) Service is always fast! Staff is always friendly whether taking your orders or handing them to you! The wait is never too long either.
Wushiland was one of my favorite boba shops in college and when I heard they released taro drinks, I had to try! So far I've had the taro green tea oat latte and the taro black tea oat latte with less sugar. They both tasted so good! The tea flavor is strong in both and the taro has a nice nutty flavor. By far my favorite taro drinks. Will be frequenting here more, I was a big fan of their oolong milk tea and I hope to try more of their drinks! :-)
This boba spot is tucked inside of the orange tree square shopping center next to 99ranch. I got the Uji Matcha Latte and it was good! The matcha flavor is apparent although perhaps a little artificial. It's similar to the matcha latte at sunright tea for those that are familiar. It's nothing extraordinary but not bad either. The service was relatively quick and I got my drink within 5 minutes of ordering. Would recommend for those in the area looking for a quick, decent boba.
Orange yakult was very fresh tasking and non-artificial. The ice cream in the Ovaltine made it extra sweet. Boba quality for both small and regular pearl was perfect. Service here was quick. You can order at the counter or on one of those tablets. I've only been to this location once, but every Wushiland I've been to has been consistent in quality.
It was a rainy Sunday and my son and I wondered into this fine establishment to try and find yumm drink. The location isn't too large, but there is a nice bench that for people to sit while they wait for their drinks. It was our first time here and we needed some extra time and help with our order as my son has a few allergies. The two women working were very kind and helpful in assisting us in selecting our drinks. Despite there being a small line behind us, they were very patient and understanding. The drinks were made in a timely manner and tasted great! My son also loved the drink that they helped pick for him. Clean shop, friendly staff, and good drinks
Haven't had Wushiland in years and decided to give the Irvine location a try! It's located inside a busy plaza so parking can be hard to find. The store itself is small with minimal seating. There was a kiosk to order from which made the process quick and easy. We got the ice cream milk teas, one regular and one with early grey flavor and boba. The drinks came out really fast. Both drinks were yummy, but the earl grey ice cream milk tea was super good! Make sure to mix in the ice cream with your milk tea before you drink. I love earl grey, so this will be my go to drink from Wushiland from now on.
I love Wushiland boba! I've had it back in Taiwan many years ago, and recently when I went back. The quality of the boba does not disappoint and the boba and my fave - mini boba - texture is so QQ. Flavor is always on point and they don't charge you for extra toppings either! The service is always fast whether you place your order in store or through the app. They also have these kiosks in store and I need to add - their restroom is super clean. Added bonus! My cousin recently tried their four seasons tea with grass jelly, and to my surprise, the grass jelly was really good too. If you haven't tried this place yet, give it a shot - I promise you won't be disappointed.
Never heard of this boba place before, but I really enjoyed the milk tea. The tea wasn't too bitter and I felt like the quality was there.
Solid boba place next to 99 Ranch. Definitely on the sweeter and more pricier side. But I enjoyed the Earl Grey and Orange flavored ones especially since the Orange Yakult had pulp. Ample amounts of boba. Kiosk ordering was a little wonky because it didn't list the prices of add-ons. Otherwise, it was brisk and simple service. Bench was a little sticky to sit on so that could've been cleaned up.

From hearing positive reviews from this place, I HAD to stop by and try it for myself. Wushiland Boba is located in the Orange Tree Square shopping plaza ~ near 99 Ranch on the corner of Walnut & Jeffrey in Irvine. The store is small and located on the left, once you enter the plaza. There is interesting decor, as I don't understand the fish mascot, but the place is well lit. Lol We were offered service right as we walked in the door and the staff was friendly. When I try new boba places, I always order my usuals, so I have a better compare point to my "controls" (aka Boba Guys, OMOMO, Orobae, Gong Cha and Cha for Tea). This first time, I ordered a Jasmine green tea with mini boba. Honestly, the mini boba enticed me & got my foot in the door cuz I absolutely LOVE them, but hardly ever find them at boba shops. At first sip, you can really taste the good quality green tea. The mini bobas were perfection. Just the right chewiness. I also appreciated the generous amount that they give you too! All in all, I would definitely come back for this specific drink again and/or try another of my usuals here next time.

Service was super fast, and staff were helpful with recommendations. You can either order at the kiosk and at the register, depending on how busy it gets.

Very disappointed by Wushiland today around 3:30 p.m. When I received my drink, I immediately noticed that it looked like I had received about half the amount of QQube toppings I usually get. Whenever I order from Wushiland, the toppings typically reach around the part of the cup where the word "boba" is printed. Today, there was noticeably less. I politely mentioned to the staff that I frequent Wushiland and that they typically put much more QQube in my drinks. The staff member told me they put one scoop of toppings and that they had done that for my drink. While I understand that there may be a standard serving size, it was frustrating to hear this, especially as a loyal customer who has several photos of my previous Wushiland drinks showing significantly more toppings. I also had another frustrating experience while my drink was being made. I could hear the staff discussing that they were starting to run out of the drink I ordered. Instead of letting me know, they added more ice to my drink, even though I specifically ordered it with less ice. I would have much rather been informed that they were running low so I could decide whether I wanted to make a different selection. I'm not sure if this was an issue with the staff working today or if something was different because of the Labor Day holiday, but the overall experience was very upsetting. I'm especially disappointed because I've had several positive experiences at Wushiland in the past and have always enjoyed coming here. Now I'm pissed and going to Heytea. read more

Great boba! No complaints and definitely come through if you're looking for boba after shopping at 99 ranch! Placed our order at the iPad/kiosk situation and within minutes, my order was ready. There's a long bench to sit at inside against the window, and there's a tall counter where you wait for your drink! I got half sweet and probably should have gotten a bit more because mine was a bit sour, but that's what you get with passion fruit sometimes! I do appreciate the freshness of the ingredients! read more

Haven't had Wushiland in years and decided to give the Irvine location a try! It's located inside a busy plaza so parking can be hard to find. The store itself is small with minimal seating. There was a kiosk to order from which made the process quick and easy. We got the ice cream milk teas, one regular and one with early grey flavor and boba. The drinks came out really fast. This is the second boba shop to open up in the 99 Ranch plaza and it's a nice alternative to the always busy Hey Tea. It's a small shop with no tables and only a couple benches to sit on while you wait for your drink. You can order from the kiosk or the register. It's usually not too busy and the drinks come out quickly. They have milk teas, fruit teas, yakult and brown sugar drinks and even ice cream drinks. I wish they had more fruit tea flavor options. I've only had their Roasted Oolong Milk Tea ($5.24) and Orange Grapefruit Green Tea ($6.74). Both were pretty good at 70% sweetness. The best thing about this place is their toppings. They have regular boba as well as mini boba ($0.80) and you can even mix them. They're also very generous with the amount of boba. It's a good place for boba if you love boba. read more

Tried out this new boba place that I saw while picking up food next door. Ordered the drinks from the kiosk and picked up my order shortly after. Got the plum green tea with boba. The boba was nice and chewy, but I didn't get much of tea flavor in my drink. Will try some other flavor next time. read more
Hubby and I popped in for an after-dinner treat. We saw someone ordering at the counter with the person so we went to the kiosk to the side to get our order in. We were really glad, too, because literally moments after we walked in, a bunch of people started walking in. We thought we beat the crowd. And it got crowded! But nope. We watched as party after party received their drinks after us. I checked up after about 12-15 drinks were served to people who came in after us (some with similar orders to ours). I finally checked in at the counter and the guy located my drink, which I noticed had been sitting out for a while, alone. He asked the staff about hubby's drink and I think someone finally started on it at that point?? We waited a while longer, as more drinks continued to get pushed out and I followed up again and it looked like the person might have set aside hubby's drink and didn't finish it up until the counter guy asked again. It was confusing and weird and the guy didn't really say anything about it or apologize. Just handed us our drinks. He seemed also puzzled as to why the drink wasn't done. By the time we left, there were only a handful of latecomers waiting on their drinks. Honestly, I probably can't give an unbiased review on the taste of the beverages as I was kinda bothered by that experience. Hubby loved his drink, though, the Ovaltine Macchiato with ice cream added. The thing was literally 1,000 calories! (does not factor into my review lol). I ordered just a low sugar Assam team which tasted normal and refreshing. The place was nice and bright but does get crowded. Definitely a takeout place like many other boba shops but there is some seating for people waiting. read more
Tried the four seasons tea macchiato and loved it! The tea had a light floral flavor and the foam layer doesn't dilute the tea like adding milk would. They also give ample amounts of boba (1/3 of the cup) which were perfectly cooked (sweet and chewy). I did 100% sweet but can definitely do less sweet next time. read more
I ordered the roasted oolong tea with 30% sweetness and the mini boba add in. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the drink, solid tea flavor without being t oo sweet. The mini boba was also a nice change up from what I usually get. Store itself is located in a shopping plaza where parking can be tough at peak hours. Inside the store itself, there is a bench but not really any place to stay and enjoy your drink. The service for me when I went was friendly and very quick. read more

Jasmine milk tea with mini pearl boba, half sweet - yes, please! They nailed it. It reminds me a lot of TP Tea (also in Irvine on Main Street), which is a major compliment. I especially appreciate that the cup is filled all the way to the toppity top - no skimping here, and I love that. Yesssss. Right as you walk in, you're greeted warmly, which already earns the place extra points. It sets a welcoming tone before you've even placed your order. Ordering is a breeze thanks to the self-serve kiosk. You can take your time browsing the menu without the awkward pressure of a cashier staring you down while you panic-scroll through your options. Now for the drink: The milk tea is splendid, light and floral flavored. The mini pearls are chewy, sweet, and taste absolutely spectacular fresh. My personal tip - once it hits the fridge, it's not going to be the same. So sip sooner than later! One small heads-up: the music can be really loud. Kind of par for the course at boba shops, not an ideal study spot since there are no tables to do so. It is more of a to-go counter. All in all, still a solid yes from me across the board. read more

I went to Wushiland after dinner on a Friday night. It is pretty small inside and there is not really any seating. There is a bench for waiting for drinks though. I ordered brown sugar organic milk and adjusted it to 70% sweet and added boba for .80 cents. The drink was good and still very sweet even after the adjustment. It was just right. The boba was inconsistent. Some pieces were hard while some were soft. The boba also could have been sweeter. Service was good and the drink came out very fast. There is also plenty of parking however it can get busy at times due to the amount of restaurants and 99 ranch in the plaza. read more
I got the orange grapefruit Yakult drink and it's very refreshing and yummy! There's grapefruit pulp in it which I love! You are able to order on the tablet and there's seating by the window while you wait for your drink read more
I think this is one of my favorite boba place in oc now. When you order it you can do it on the kiosk and they are pretty fast with orders. The wushiland in irvine doesn't have seating, only a bench to wait for the drinks, so not the best location to hang out at. The tea itself is lighter than other boba places in my opinion. I also like the taste of their cheese foam compared to other places. It is lighter and not as heavy as sunright or something. I usually get the four season macchiato at wushiland. read more

Pretty standard boba for a chain. Fast service, little seating inside with a long bench, and the tea quality is solid. I'd say the tea is a hair better than Sunright but the boba quality is inconsistent. read more

If you're a fan of boba, I highly recommend Wushiland Boba. Their boba is always fresh and perfectly chewy. They even offer mini boba, which I personally prefer over the regular size. Wushiland Boba does a great job with making mini and regular sized boba. I ordered a Green Milk Tea with mini boba ($5.24 + $0.80), 50% sweetness, and less ice. The tea had a mild flavor that paired really well with the mini boba. While it's a bit on the pricey side, the drink comes in a large size, so it feels worth it. The shop itself is bright, clean, and modern. They have a self-ordering kiosk, but it wasn't working when I visited. Luckily, ordering at the counter was easy, and they prepare your drinks quickly--there was virtually no wait. If I weren't specifically craving boba, I probably wouldn't come here. There are other spots that offer stronger tea, which is more my preference. Still, for boba lovers, especially fans of mini boba, Wushiland Boba is a solid choice. read more

I usually get their special Black Tea with Ice Cream or the Earl Grey Tea Latte. Note that there's not much of an interior, just a bench and the order counter. read more

Steep Thoughts: Florence's Quest for (Her) Perfect Black Milk Tea Black milk tea: 1.5/2. I usually get the black milk tea, 30% sweet, less ice. The drink is very smooth and pleasant, with a nice black tea flavor that isn't at all bitter but is a little less strong than I personally prefer. It's creamy and not watery thanks to the non-dairy creamer. Other drinks: 1/1. Nice variety of tea drinks and toppings, including yakult and ice cream tea drinks which are more unique. Ambiance: 0.5/1. Limited seating to wait for drinks, and no tables inside. This shop is located in a popular shopping plaza with a 99 Ranch Market, so parking can be a little finicky sometimes. Service: 1/1. Order at a digital kiosk, via their app, or at the counter. Drinks come out very quickly. Total: 4/5 read more

A great spot when you want something refreshing and not too sweet. I got the Four Seasons tea with no sugar, and it was really good. The staff recommended the Four Seasons option and they were absolutely right. The size was good too, and the flavor was just perfect without needing any sugar. read more
