The prices are amazing and basic toppings are free. This hasn't been a thing for decades. I actually lowkey stan their coffee jelly. It's amazing! The best coffee jelly in Irvine. It isn't like the hard cubes coffee jelly you find at most places - this coffee jelly reminds me of the Japanese coffee jelly dessert. With 25% or 50% sweet caramel milk tea, it hits the dessert drink spot. They don't have many no-caffeine options, with ovaltine being one. You can order online on their website. read more

To be honest, I am disappointed, I thought that there will be real fruits in the Mango grapefuit (as seen in the photo on the menu) but it turns out that they just put mango syrup in it. Also, when they gave me my drink there's mango syrup all over it, I asked them to wipe it since it's really sticky. I think mango drink is now a thing for most boba place and most of them are using real mango not just syrup, so it's a no no for me and I didn't even finish my drink. The staffs are nice though, but I still wouldn't come back, there's a lot of boba places in that area that uses better quality ingredients. read more

It's a pretty small space so if there were to be a line, it would head outdoors. I do love how they can take your order in person , but also they have 2 kiosks to tap to start your order if you want to avoid maybe a line occurring. I came around opening hours and I was second in line. And no line was formed behind me. It's a cute little spot & it was a hot day. I ordered their large oolong milk tea, part of their Milk Tea Series. I've only ever seen it before while shopping in this area but finally was able to try it before I left to the shops. I ordered the Four Seasons milk tea and the ice cream black tea, and unfortunately both tasted like they were very light on tea flavor. The milk tea tasted mostly like milk, and the ice cream black tea tasted mostly like ice cream, with very little tea coming through. On the plus side, they use fresh milk, and you can definitely taste the quality, which I appreciated. It just overpowered the tea for me. This place is cheap, less than $6 for a large drink and it's free toppings, which makes it even better. It's located in a plaza with a ton of boba options, but I find myself coming back every time. I go for their black tea or milk tea. I will say that they can be inconsistent with the milk powder and syrup ratio since they measure everything by spoonful, so you should try their drink before you leave and make sure they made it correctly. Also do remember your order number after you order or else it gets a little confusing. When they get it correct, it's perfect, but I've also gotten watered down milk tea before. I like my drinks less sweet and I love that they actually honor the sweetness adjustments here- the first time I came here I got 30% sweetness and it actually needed more sweetness. Boba can be found all around Irvine. But what makes this place different? FREE TOPPINGS!! Yep!! Is it the best tea? Probably not, but it's around $5 for a medium green milk tea!! It's refreshing and hits the craving. The parking lot can be a bit crazy during busy times. And the no frill staff makes the drinks pretty fast. This location has no indoor seating available, but there are some outdoor tables and benches available that are shared by all the businesses. You order off of one of two kiosks inside. There are no alternative milk options listed on their menu. One of the factors that makes this location stand out is the price. It's on the cheaper side for current day boba prices and many of the topping options are included for free. MY NEWEST OBSESSION! I'm Alittle Tea's biggest fan right now. The taste of the tea and boba remind me of Taiwan, especially with the price point! It tastes exactly like the boba I'd get in Taiwan... an authentic Taiwanese large milk tea boba for $5.50 is unheard of these days. I was highly anticipating another new boba shop in town but was a bit disappointed. I went to get the classic milk tea with boba as a good standard comparison. The boba itself was hard and not soft and chewy, definitely brought down the rating for me. I got 50% sweet but with the addition of the boba, it was still too sweet of a drink. The tea flavor also wasn't too strong. They had a lot of sold out or not available drinks. I came on a Tuesday night, so not sure if it's just later in the day, or they just haven't fully stocked up since opening. The bonus of this place is if you like toppings, they do have free toppings! We are surprised to see the long line and never ending customers coming in and out of this place. Ordering is done in the kiosk and can be customized according to our taste. I specifically asked my husband to make my drink 70% sugar. It took a while to get our drinks but it is worth it. There's a lot of boba in our drinks and I did not have any tummy trouble/issue. Maybe next time, I will make my sugar just 50% and see if it is still ok to my taste. The workers here are very organized and the place looks well kept. Step inside, turn right, place your order, pay, sit, get drink and leave. The staff pretty much ignores you until it's time to pick up your drink at the counter. I do like their ordering system, as you can get very granular on how you like your drink. For instance, the wife does not want any sugar/sweetener, regular boba, and no ice. Unfortunately, I am extremely allergic to jasmine in just about all its forms (no, jasmine rice does not contain jasmine - wouldn't that be horrendous!) and many teas use jasmine blossoms for fragrance. Not many people have this allergy, and so they do not clean their bulk tea containers or even consider it a cross-contamination. They were really sorry about this. I normally enjoy the LA location and was excited to hear they opened one closer! Do be advised, this isnt the best boba in town BUT it is cheaper for a reason!
