I was eating nearby at Mr. BBQ Jr. in The District at Tustin Legacy and decided to finally stop by and try 3CAT, since I've heard so much about them and seen so many good reviews. I'm always on the hunt for a good boba/tea spot, so I had to see for myself what all the hype was about! It's a small, cute, and quaint lil shop with a lil seating area. I stopped by after dinner around 6:30ish on a Friday night, and it was poppin'! You order from a kiosk and then wait for your number to be called. The menu had some really unique drink options, which made it a lil tough to decide what to get! For my first visit, I opt'd to try the Peachy Strawberry Glow, and it was delicious! It's a blended peach and strawberry smoothie with sweet mashed strawberries layered at the bottom. You can definitely taste the quality of the ingredients, and I loved that you could actually taste and get chunks of fresh fruit with each sip. I got the drink at 100% sweetness, since I figured the ice from the blended smoothie would dilute it a bit, and it ended up being perfect. The combo was fruity, refreshing, and just the right amount of sweet. I get that their drinks are handcrafted, but at $8.72, it's definitely a bit pricier than most tea spots. While I enjoyed my drink, I'm not sure it's something I'd go out of my way for. But if I'm in the area and craving a tea, I'd definitely stop by and try it again! RxFoodie recommends ~ at least try it once!
Cute bag and love the fresh mango in my Sunlit Mango Glow. I didn't really taste the passion fruit but I still loved the drink because of all the mango bits in it. The flavor was nice and fresh, I would definitely get this drink again, I hope they keep it for awhile!
I ordered the avomango sweet dew, which was their best seller and it was soo yummy!!! I love the familiar taste of mango pomelo sago mixed with the avocado flavor, which brought down the sweetness so it was the perfect level. Ordering is easy and done on a kiosk.

I also added boba, but unfortunately, the texture was pretty mushy. The Mochi Mango wasn't overly sweet, which I really liked, and it had a fresh mango flavor. Both drinks were enjoyable overall, and I'd definitely order them again. We ordered through the kiosk, and our drinks were made pretty quickly. Overall, a good first experience, and I'd come back to try more of their menu!
Cam around 1 on a Saturday with no line. I got an Icy Peach and my boyfriend got a rice frost. We waited about 7 minutes to get our drinks. This is my 2-3rd time coming to this 3cat and they're usually pretty decent every time. The icy peach was super good. I went 75% sweetness but probably could go even lower if I order this again. The peaches added a nice crunch and the iciness was super refreshing on a hot day. My boyfriend rice frost was a bit on the mushy side (the rice) and was not as icy as he would've liked it to be. It was also quite sweet despite him ordering less sweetness.
Been here a few times and oh my, i found my favorite drink! The Frosty sticky rice mango! If you're a fan of mango sticky rice dessert, this might be the drink for you! I was surprise how good it was and how the sticky rice wasn't hard? Tbh, I would go back just to get this drink again!
3cat overall has become one of my favorite boba chains! I get their mochi barley burst, 25% sweet, less or no ice every single time. The mochi is the smoothest and best part of their drinks, good flavor and a nice little chew without being overly chewy. The tea flavor is strong, and the barley boba is divine. Incredibly flavorful and refreshing drink! The other drinks with mochi are also great, like their mango. You generally self order, but it works well because all the staff has a great rhythm of making drinks and bringing them out fast, even when the place is packed. Highly recommend tasting around their menu! Not everything is my favorite or something I would choose, but I think it's all high quality at least.
Still a super solid Boba spot at the district in Tustin, which says a lot with how quickly businesses move in and out of this shopping plaza. Love that they continue to rotate seasonal drinks, it's a convenient spot to get Boba if you're in the area and know where to park, and I do think that they have some of the better fancy blended drink drinks across other Boba shops! The employees are always pleasant. Service is decently fast, and there's a good amount of indoor seating.
One of my favorite spots to grab a drink. My go-tos are the Mango Mochi and Avomango and I usually ask for 75% sweet. I also love all the cute cat decor and the japanese cat photography book. Employees are quick and service is good.

The cheese berry tasted just like a blueberry cheesecake and was not overpoweringly sweet - love how they do sweetness modifications too. The mochi mango is one of their iconic drinks here and was delicious as well. Drinks came out pretty quickly after ordering on the tablet. Overall great boba spot and will definitely be back.
I looove their mochi drinks! The mochi tastes smooth like pudding but has a lovely little chew. I've tried a bunch of drinks, but their mochi ones are my fave. My favorite drink is definitely the mochi mango. It's sooo fruity and creamy! I also love the Mochi Matcha. Mochi Oreo is pretty good too. I tried their Panna too in the Hazelnut Chocolate Panna which was good! But I must say, the mochi drinks are better. It's usually busy, but 3CAT is a well-oiled machine. The line for the kiosk was a little slow, so I ordered online. I love that they have a TV screen to tell you what orders they're working on. And when I ordered online, they gave me an accurate ETA and texted me when the drinks were ready. For how busy they were, the wait really wasn't that long. I'd love to come back and try more!

They pair really well with the avocado smoothie to give some brightness and slight tartness to this already delicious drink. I usually end up buying two when I come here hehe My friend and her daughter enjoyed their drinks as well. There's some seating inside, along with plenty of lounge seats outside. They can get really busy but drinks come out fairly quickly.
Ordered via QR code at door or can order via kiosk inside. The site in which I ordered my app gave me an expected time it was ready after ordering and also had an updated status when ready. Got a Mochi Mango and it was so yummy. I regretted not getting another one as I shared it with my son and hubby. Lesson learned. My son pretty much drank the whole thing. So good and that mochi in the drink--tasty! Gotta come back to try the other flavors!

Came here on a friend's recommendation and was in the area. Theres 2 screens at the front to take your order with the menu and drink descriptions. I chose to go with the Mango Dew since it was more of a smoothie and it was a hot day. It had a mango based smoothie with passionfruit, one of my favorite combos. The drink with tax ended up being around $8 and it was ready in about a few minutes. After getting it, I loved the flavor and could not stop drinking it. My only complaint was that even though there was only 3 tables occupied, all the other tables were dirty so we didn't feel comfortable sitting while waiting. I think that says a lot since there were more dirty tables than clean ones. It also made it difficult to tell if someone was sitting at a table or not, or just in the bathroom. I don't believe it was too busy considering there was only one person's order prior to us ordering as well. read more
Thought I would be more impressed with the Mango Mochi for $7+, but I was a bit underwhelmed. I was expecting a more fruity, mango-forward drink but it ended up being a little too creamy for my taste. There was definitely a fresh mango flavor, but the creamy components overpowered it more than I would have liked. I did enjoy the mochi though! It's different from the standard mochi texture and shape you might normally expect. It's thin, less chewy, and pairs nicely with the drink without feeling too heavy. I love this 3CAT location! They have great drinks and love that they use real fruit. The drinks are not too sweet which is awesome. Solid choice for a dog-friendly boba shop with the seating area outside and the plaza to walk around. read more
You can never go wrong with 3CAT! My favorite is mochi mango. I should try other flavors but every time I'm back, I always go for the mochi mango. Two delicious combination that goes so well together. It gets pretty crowded here so I'm really glad they have the kiosk to place your order first. It's also a nice hang out place but kinda wish the AC was stronger when it's crowded. read more

Tried out their best seller, Avomango and it was refreshing. Wish it had more mango and I think I'd prefer regular honey boba. Interested in trying their other flavors. Service was a bit lacking as it was my first time and no one bothered to look my way or greet me when I was right in front of them at the counter. I get that they can get busy but I was the only one there, no line. If they don't plan to take orders and expect everyone to use the kiosk, it would help to have a sign. 3CAT is the epitome of an outstanding Boba Shop in the asian food mecca of Orange County in the heart of The District at Tustin Legacy. Need I say more? Clean modern space with ample seating and several ordering kiosks, plus a separate display showing the orders ready and pending with the estimated time to completion! Super efficient and friendly staff too. I should note that despite efficiently juggling a regular stream of customers on a late Friday afternoon, we noticed 1 dedicated staff member single handedly and quite professionally making an order of what had to be at least 50 boba drinks... cool, calm and collected no less! The service was more so automated with the kiosk for ordering, but we were able to find a seat to wait for our drink in the meantime. The barley burst is too addictive. First time trying 3cat and it was so good! Loved the variety of drinks and that you can customize each one. For example, I didn't want grapefruit in my drink, and I was able to remove it. We ordered our drinks ahead of time online, and they were made quickly and accurately. There's only a few seats inside the shop, but loved the cute cat decorations. Free parking outside but it gets busy since it's a big plaza. Highly recommend trying their drinks! read more

If you like mochi as a topping, I'd say 3CAT does it best. There is usually always a line here, but you can usually order on snackpass too to avoid the line. I got the Floral black tea latte with mochi, mochi mango and osmanthus oolong latte. The Floral black tea is like the name suggests, Floral taste but it does complement the black tea well. Their mango drinks are always good, strong and fresh mango flavor! It was my first time getting their osmanthus too and I was pleasantly surprised at the tea taste you get, highly recommend if you like osmanthus! There's not too much seating indoors but it's by the District plaza so plenty of outdoor seating available. Since they are popular, do expect a wait if you come on a weekend. read more
Love 3CAT! The long line here is a good indication of their drink quality. I haven't tried the regular milk tea/tea offerings here but I can vouch for some of their fun drinks option. My favorites are the rice frost (not pictured), avomango, and the green grape-pear drink. Some of them could be an acquired taste (i.e: rice frost drink, with chestnut boba) but their creative combinations are so fun to explore. There are some seatings inside and plenty more outside. It could be a little bit of a wait (depending on when you go) but it is quite worth it for me. read more
We heard about this place from a relative so my sister and I decided to give it a try. You order through digital screens, but when we went, there was only one working so the line does get long after a while. The interior of the place is very cute though and it's cat-themed. I got the osmanthus oolong milk tea and I really liked the tea flavor and it wasn't too sweet. Then, I tried my sister's drink which was the mochi oreo. Definitely a cute place! My friend wanted to stop here since she got gifted a gift card and wanted to treat us, which was super nice. The plaza it's located in is adorable and nicely decorated. There was even a huge chessboard. I loved the seating area outside; it's large, comfy, and a great place to sit and chill, but you can also chill in the store, too, but it definitely gets super crowded though. There were a few kiosks, so everything moved along pretty smoothly. The drinks were good! I adjusted the sweetness, and it was just perfect. I got the seasonal peach drink, and it was amazing. It was refreshing, not too heavy, and super fruity! Wait times can be a bit long since they always have a lot of orders, but it's definitely worth the short wait. read more
Their drinks here are delicious! When it comes liquid sugar, the old standards have their rights and ways but the newer generation introduce texture to a whole new level. Selection wise, you'll have a decent list and choice to choose from on their two tablets. They are quite automated and order announcements are all electronic. You have a QC person to ensure drinks are delivered properly which is quite nice and streamlined. Service behind this process is friendly and quick. Inside can get a bit loud depending on time of day. It's bright and has a few areas for seating in the back. Avomango is the choice for me. What will you choose? read more
Drinks- Mochi Mango & Soybean Dragon well Both drinks are just okay but not overly wow. Mango mochi was still icy with ice chips, mochi texture is whatever. Soybean dragon well was just alright with boba. I wouldn't come back or crave it, but service was really quick with our order! read more

Been wanting to try this place for so long and finally have! My friend and I arrived around 1:45pm on a Monday afternoon. It wasn't busy so they made our drinks very fast. We ordered the mochi barley burst and the mochi matcha. I had the mochi matcha and it was good! I love the rice mochi in the drink. I got mine less sweet and it was good but I wish the matcha flavor was a bit stronger. Overall a good place! I hope to come back and try their other drinks :-) read more
Great boba spot! Located in the middle of the District, this boba joint provides delightful refreshments and a wide selection to choose from. They have slushies, milk teas, fruit teas, etc. The shop's ambiance is akin to your typical boab shop, nothing out of the ordinary there. The ordering system is via tablet and you can customize to your liking including sweetness, ice level and additional toppings. We got the mango Mochi and avomango sweet dew, the two most popular drinks. They were both great! Jam packed full of toppings and real mango bits, both drinks were nice and sweet but not too heavy. Personally, I likes the avomango sweet dew more because it became more consistent in texture after a bit of mixing. Recommend for those in this plaza looking for a pleasant refreshment! read more

3 Cat in Tustin is officially a new fave The Chestnut Matcha was creamy and nutty with a smooth matcha finish. The Jade Matcha tasted fresh, earthy, and high quality with no bitterness. The Avomango Honeydew was refreshing, fruity, and perfectly balanced. Not overly sweet and everything felt intentional. If you love unique tea flavors, this spot is worth it. read more
