I ordered two drinks: Phoenix Oolong Tea Latte with boba with 75% sugar and Matcha Tea Latte with 75% sugar and light ice as well. Both were impressed. The boba was chewy and soft enough in the tea latte but quickly harden in an hour so I have to finish it quick. I was more impressed with the matcha because they really used ceremonial matcha and this tasted much better than at multiple cafe nearby. I will prefer this in a smaller size because it's hard for me to finish all in one seating. It might seem a bit pricey but given the size, it's all worth the price. Order is done using a self-order kiosk so it's very convenient. Parking is easy to find as well. There are a lot of bubble teas nearby but they are of a few using real mike instead of powder so definitely worth the shot and taste much fresher read more

The winter melon milk tea is what I always get and it never disappoints as it's smooth, not too sweet, and honestly the perfect midday reset. The drink comes out really fast too which is a nice bonus for the office workers nearby. Only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is that it can feel a little inconsistent sometimes. There's not many tea shops around OC that have special teas as Bako. The shop is located in a weird plaza hidden away and parking can be tough. The store is nice a clean. There's one kiosk to order from out front since the workers are usually making drinks in the back. Last time I didn't like how it was milk heavy, and I noticed their kiosk shows an option to pick milk heavy or tea heavy. An awesome addition of a drink customization! However, maybe it's because I reduced the sugar to 10% with a little bit less ice. The tea flavor wasn't really strong to me and it felt very washed out almost like it was a diluted water taste to it. I thought the inside of the store was very modern and it would be nice to study there as well. My only suggestion is to increase the strength of the tea flavor, not sure if it's a premade tea with sugar in it already. I'm not sure if mine was diluted because of the low sugar level, so I was quite disappointed.
