We tried Auntea Jenny for the first time yesterday. We're boba/milk tea/fruity tea/coffee/matcha enthusiasts and like to venture out and explore new places. The boba baristas were friendly and had positive attitudes. I was helped as soon as I got to the counter. It was a busy Thursday evening. People were coming and going. The place is compact, but they make the space work. I like their decor. Pro tip: Download the app and order online. It saves time and you get rewards. It said my order was going to take 35 minutes, but it was ready sooner than that. Mango Coconut Sago My husband got this drink and he liked it. It's similar to the Mango Coconut Boom at HeyTea. He preferred the Hey Tea version though. Kale Apple Fiber Chia Seed Boost Tea This caught my attention because I've never seen a Superfood section in a speciality drink place. It was refreshing and healthy. Premium Matcha Daifuku Cheese Foam I usually prefer matcha plain and tried it with the cheese foam since it was a popular option. You can taste the finely ground premium matcha and high quality of it. It was smooth and creamy. Unfortunately, I wasn't really a fan of the cheese foam. It was too thick and kept getting stuck in my straw.

    Classic Mango Pomelo Sago (Medium)

I got the Classic Mango Pomelo Sago without the pomelo! There wasn't an option on the kiosk to remove it, so I had to ask a worker. The drink itself was really good, with a nice mango flavor, and I loved the sago. The main downside was the wait since it took about 30 minutes for two drinks. It's a new store, so the crowds and online orders likely contribute to the delay.

I came to Auntea Jenny on a weekday night after having dinner nearby and I had waited about 1.5 hour from ordering to picking up my drink. You order at their kiosk and they only have one kiosk available. It was not worth the long wait and slow service. -- Premium Jasmine Green Tea Latte [3/5]: I ordered their Premium Jasmine Green Tea Latte and got 70% sugar and regular ice. The tea taste was not strong enough and I thought that the drink was too watered down.

Super delicious! I got the mango sago & the taro milk tea with mochi, omggggg the best! I want to try all their flavors!

Tried this tea shop in the same plaza as boiling point. Ordered at the tablet thing in the front. There are 2 of them. No humans to take orders. You can also order via the app. There are chairs and tables a few of them along the side of the wall. The got the white peach oolong tea added mango pulp with 30% sweetness. It was good but not sweet enough. I should have gone with the 70% sweetness as recommended Got the premium jasmine tea in regular sweetness as well which was a little too sweet for me but perfect for my husband.

I loved it! The mango was perfectly ripe and the drink was sweet and refreshing. Expect to see me during the summer months. Got the Mango Sago and it didn't make it home haha (I drank it all during the drive back) service was quick for how busy it was. I wasn't able to go inside the store because I was with my toddlers in the car but from what is visible the store looks nice. My husband says they have very modern bathrooms too.

Auntea Jenny recently opened in Irvine, in the same plaza as Tokyo Central and Boiling Point. The parking lot is pretty awful. I passed by a few times before I successfully ordered a drink here, because they're so busy. The "new" hype problems. When I entered there was 2 kiosks to order but it was really disorderly and crowded. They had one staff member at the door but this girl was probably the most useless employee cause she didn't help customers with the kiosk and she didn't direct traffic and didn't give any recommendations. If anything, she just took up the space if she wasn't going to be helpful. I was extra annoyed because this rude customer who came after me cut in front of me, and the staff just stood there and did nothing. I even pointed it out to the staff and she just shrugged. By time I got to the kiosk, I just wanted to be quick since there was a line. I ordered a Taro Boba Fresh Milk Tea ($6.99) at 70% sugar. As I was clicking through quickly, I almost got tricked by this 18% default tip FOR A KIOSK. Excuse me... NO!! I had to go back to remove the tip from the ZERO SERVICE I received. It was soooooo busy, I decided to step outside and wait. It was so stuffy inside. To the credit of their behind the counter staff, they were all working quickly and diligently to crank out online and kiosk orders. When I got my drink... I actually liked it. It was the only thing redeeming about the experience. But I don't like it enough to deal with the crowd and chaos. Maybe I'll try again when the hype dies down.

Forgot to take a picture of my drink but I got the Taro Boba Fresh Mill Tea and it was good!!! The boba was especially tasty-- nice, sweet and chewy!! It's been a while since I had good boba! The milk tea aspect of the drink was solid!! There was taro paste swirled around the cup-- it only added texture not taste but it was still good! It was pretty busy (as you can see by the many prepared drinks) but I think it moved relatively quickly. The staff was pretty efficient!

Tried Auntea Jenny and ended up going a little overboard with the order but it was worth it. I got the coco boba cheese foam, six berry glow, pearl boba, cream cascade brulé boba, classic mango pomelo sago, and the whipped cream brulé boba. Everything was made fresh and the presentation was really nice. The coco boba cheese foam had that perfect sweet and salty combo and was super smooth. The six berry glow was light, fruity, and really refreshing. The pearl boba gave that classic chewy texture you expect. The cream cascade brulé boba and whipped cream brulé boba both felt more like dessert drinks with that rich caramelized flavor on top, definitely my favorites. The mango pomelo sago was also a standout, especially if you want something lighter and more refreshing. Service was quick and the shop itself was clean and cute. Good spot if you want a variety of drinks because there is a mix of fruity, creamy, and dessert-style options. Overall I would come back, especially for the brulé drinks.

My wife wanted to try this when she heard one was opening up near us. The first time we tried going it was too crowded and we ended up leaving. The next time we thought of ordering ahead online... was that a mistake. Even after ordering ahead and when the app tells you that the order is ready, it's not. We still had to wait an hour after the app said it's ready for pickup and the employees just told us that they were working on orders ahead of ours. Either the app or the store is being mismanaged right now and it's to the detriment of their consumers. On top of that I thought that their drinks were just alright and the flavor kind of muted. The only drink I thought was good was their version of the mango pomelo tea. Hopefully this store will be better in the future and just is figuring out their opening.

Strawberry Daifuku Taro Boba Milk Tea
    Ariana L.

I love the jasmine milk tea here! It's probably one of the best milk teas I've had hands down, basically comparable to Molly Tea in LA. It's perfectly sweet and the jasmine flavor is very strong. However, having to wait an hour for a drink every time is a lot. I know it's probably because the place is still fairly new, so hopefully the wait time will be better in a few months. I also tried the strawberry daifuku milk which has mochi and strawberry bits in it. This drink was just alright to me. The mochi was good and the drink was yummy, but I prefer the tea forward drinks. The taro boba milk was yummy but hard to drink because the taro paste would get stuck in the straw. Overall I really like this place, I just wish it was quicker to get , because there's no way I have the time to wait 1hr+ on work days

I went on a Sunday around 11am and there wasn't much of a wait, which surprised me considering I've heard there's usually a long line. There's some seating inside but mostly tables for 2 if I remember correctly. Overall I liked the drinks that I tried and would come back here. I did think it was interesting though that the adjustments offered were different for each drink Jasmine green tea latte: 4/5 I got full sweet and regular ice. I thought I was in the mood for a really sweet drink but I probably could've done with 70% sweetness which I believe was recommended Lemon da hong pao tea punch: 4/5 my friend got this with 70% sugar and water chestnut boba. It was really refreshing and the boba was definitely unique and similar to popping boba Lemon jasmine tea punch: 4/5 I also thought this drink was really refreshing and liked it a lot

There were about 3 people ahead of me in line and a few waiting for drinks, but I was able to order and get my drink in around 10 minutes. Staff was very friendly and checked in with us while waiting in line! I ordered the Matcha Two, which comes as a matcha latte topped with salted matcha vanilla cream foam. The foam was velvety and creamy. The matcha had a smooth, earthy flavor with subtle sweetness. Oatmilk was the default choice, and while I usually think oatmilk can overpower matcha, it worked well in this drink. It is a little pricey for 1 drink, but that also seems to be the norm these days for specialty drinks. This is more of a grab-and-go spot than a place to hang out. There's no seating, just a bench inside, and everyone waited outside since the interior is on the smaller side. Parking was easy when I went. Overall, a pleasant experience for a yummy matcha drink, and I'd definitely come back to try more of their matcha menu!

There was a long line in front of the store and waited in line for about 10-15 minutes. I was looking through the window and saw they hand whisked all of the matcha, which is why it takes a long time. They also had one person taking the orders and one person in charge of payment. They don't do online orders. It's also the place you grab and go since it's small inside with one bench. I got my drink 10 minutes after ordering. I ordered the matcha one which is just matcha with oat milk and less sweetness. I like that all their drinks have oat milk since I don't like paying extra for it. It was so good! The matcha flavor was definitely strong and goes well with the oat milk. Would definitely come back and bring a friend to show this place! :-)

Came here with some friends for Afternoon Tea on a Saturday. We made a reservation for 12:30pm. Check-in was easy and quick. Since it was raining, we were seated indoors. Our server came to explain the menu and tea choices. Unfortunately, they were out of some teas, but they have a seasonal tea menu to make up for it. There were four of us and we all got the Afternoon Tea set. The teas we chose were the Coconut Milk Green Tea, Blueberry Pie Green Tea, Earl Grey Lavender, and Cherry Rose Rooibos. The teas came out first followed by the food items. We were told to let the teas steep for 4 minutes before pouring them. They were all great, but the favorite for us was the Coconut Milk Green Tea. It was creamy, smooth, and milky with a nice coconut flavor. The Blueberry Pie Green Tea tasted like a blueberry pie. We did not feel that the blueberry flavor was artificial. The Earl Grey Lavender was more Earl Grey than lavender. There might have been a subtle lavender flavor. The Cherry Rose Rooibos was surprisingly flavorful. We were able to taste both the cherry and rose. The food items were all solid. Our favorite sandwiches are the Chicken Salad and Cucumber ones. The breads for all the sandwiches were soft and fluffy, but they held up well. The scones were crunchy but not dry, and the jam was delicious. The fruit tart was mediocre. The pastry was soggy, affecting the texture of the tart. The macaron was not as chewy as others I have had in thr past, but was not too sweet. I did not try the donut so cannot comment on it. Overall, giving Morning Lavender Cafe a 4.5/5. Service is great and staff are quick and attentive. The teas were all good and most of the food is solid with exception of a couple of bites. It is a cute spot for hanging out or having an event such as a bridal shower or birthday. Would recommend to others and would return for Afternoon Tea or other items.

One piece of feedback is that the menu should be reorganized. There are espresso drinks on several of the menu panels but then one space specifically that is titled espresso drinks which would imply the others don't have espresso. For example, the house specialties are listed on a completely separate panel as the espresso drinks, would've like to order one of those had I known they were offered. Essentially you have to read the whole menu with the way it's currently organized you can't just search for tea or coffee sections or you'll likely miss something Importantly you can't study or work here. They intentionally don't have wifi or outlets available to foster a different customer experience. Many of the clientele were reading or knitting which was pleasant. While I support this, it's not made know to customers by signs or anything - you would have to look on Yelp beforehand to know. In addition, I've been to other Kean branches that offered wifi so unless this is a new policy or the branches are owned independently it's important to make customers aware they can't expect the internet at this location in particular. I was caught off guard and had to leave immediately as I needed wifi at the time which was unfortunate. Seats about 25 inside, patio also available. Bathroom under lock and key. Parking is in l shopping center, no issues.
