I've tried a lot of bagel spots, but Rise Bagels in Irvine really stands out. I've had both the One Fish and the Tokyo 7/11, and they each bring something unique to the table. As someone who loves a good lox bagel, the One Fish was a highlight for me. The yuzu kosho adds this light, citrusy kick that makes the whole thing feel super fresh and balanced. Overall, I love supporting Asian owned businesses, and this is definitely one bagel spot to keep on your radar if you're in Irvine! :D

Bagel spot with an Asian twist! I was so surprised at the different Asian/Pacific inspired sandwich and bagel flavor options! Ended up getting the 7/11 on an everything bagel and lox on a Furikake bagel. The egg salad in the 7/11 was so fluffy and not as heavy as I would've thought - RECOMMEND! The flavors on the lox bagel were also so light and bright - ALSO RECOMMEND! It came with lemon cream cheese which was a perfecttttt pairing to the lox topping. I feel the Furikake flavor on the bagel didn't come through as much as I would've expected, but very cool that they offer that flavor nonetheless. Check them out!

Do these bagels rise up from the rest? Perhaps! I came by after seeing foodies online rave about it. It's hidden between office buildings, and honestly, if no one posted about it, you probably wouldn't know it exists unless you worked nearby. We weren't sure where to park, so we ended up parking at the Equinox lot since it's free on weekends (without need of validation) and an easy walk over. The cafe has plenty of seating inside and outside. We got there around noon on a Saturday. There was no line to order, but a lot of the tables were already taken. You order at the register and then find a seat. With all the unique bagels on the menu, we ordered the KBBQ on a sesame bagel and the Pokémon on a furikake bagel. They were huge! The bagels tasted house made, slightly thinner and dense rather than fluffy. For bagels with this many toppings, it actually worked in their favor since it didn't feel too heavy. - KBBQ sandwich on sesame bagel: Very hearty and honestly reminded me more of a kimchi jjigae/stew than KBBQ. It didn't just have regular bulgogi or glazed meat inside, from what you'd expect. Even so, it still tasted delicious! - Poke open faced furikake bagel: The poke was so fresh, which surprised me! Paired with cucumbers and cream cheese, it was super refreshing. I would have never thought of this combo, but it worked really well. This spot brings a really unique take on bagels with flavor combos I haven't tried before. I think it's worth trying, and I'd come back to try other options like the egg salad and birria.

Located within a huge office complex with what I assume to be validated parking in the structure. We ordered online and parked in a drop-off area for a few mins, so not 100% sure. If you don't order online, you order at the register. Indoor and outdoor private patio seating, but there's also tons of communal outdoor seating in a beautiful setting. My wife saw their poke bagel on social media and had to try it. I got the chicken club bagel sandwich and an ube blueberry latte. Sandwich was supper drippy and messy, but delicious! Latte was so sweet that I couldn't tell there was any coffee in it (is there?!?). I was happy with both choices.

So you have to park in the parking structure and look for signs to Rise Bagel. I wasn't prepared for that. Very friendly. So many options to try but for 1 person, I decided on the Korean bbq sandwich for this visit on jalapeño cheddar bagel. It's freshly made for you so you will need to wait for it. I ended seeing their desserts and decided to try the carrot cake slice with no nuts. ($7). The lemon bar also looked good so maybe next time. My sandwich was beautifully made and I took it to their little lake area. It was very flavorful! The eggs were fluffy and I liked the flavor composition. It is on the pricey side though for a bagel sandwich with no side or anything. It wouldn't be something I get often but I am glad to have tried them. The bagel was soft and chewy as well. I also tried the carrot cake slice when I got home. It's moist and has good flavor. Cream cheese frosting is good as well, not too thick. SYOY!

New bagel shop that opened near my office with some indoor and outdoor seating. Came by for lunch with my coworkers. The staff was friendly and recommended to get the birria bagel sandwich. The flavor of the birria was good. The consommé was good for dipping my sandwich. Will have to stop by to try other sandwiches.

I've been seeing this spot all over social media so I was excited to finally try it! My friend and I split the Tokyo 7/11 on an everything bagel (open faced) and the Get Jigae with It on a jalapeño asiago bagel (sandwich style. Both were super yummy concepts!! the egg salad was DELICIOUS!! Structure parking is validated as well.

Cute bagel spot! I ordered to go and the service was very fast. They had unique flavors that I've never had before, I had a furikake bagel with lox, overall really tasty read some reviews that the bagels were tough, but I didn't get that impression, the ingredients tasted high-quality and fresh will be back. I do wish there was a little bit more cream cheese, but that's because I just love cream cheese, lol so might modify when I come back.

    Vivian L.

The bagels taste super fresh and have that perfect texture -- slightly crisp on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. You can really tell they put a lot of care into making them. While everything was great, I especially loved the bulgogi bake. It's such a good option if you want something a little different from a classic bagel sandwich. The bulgogi flavor is savory and really satisfying, and it pairs perfectly with the bagel. Definitely one of my favorite things we tried. Overall, it's a great spot if you're craving a good bagel, and I love that they offer both classic options and unique items like the bulgogi bake. I'd definitely come back again because there are so many things on the menu worth trying.

The food itself was good and the service also was good I will say the bagel itself was a bit on the tougher side - I kind of struggled to cut into my open face ones especially the poke one. Overall a good experience and a really pretty piece of cake.

Definitely a different bagel experience, not your average bagel with cream cheese! Very interesting menu choices and will have to come back and try their Korean inspired choices. Parking is validated up to 90 minutes. Service is average, food came out fast. Not sure I will get the egg salad again but the bagel was great. Little gem in this office complex.

Definitely loved the bagels here but they are pretty expensive. I guess it's on par with other open face bagel places though. I shared 2 bagels with one other person and we were both stuffed after. The bagels themselves were overall really good and I liked the toppings too. For parking, we parked inside a big structure then walked to the shop which is like right between/part of some tall business buildings One fish: 5/5 got this on an everything bagel Pokemon: 5/5 got this on a furikake bagel which was a pretty unique option

Be prepared to park in the parking structure and look for signs to the various restaurants, including Rise Bagels. I tried the Poke Bagel and it was Out of This World! Never thought poke and a bagel would go together, wrong! It's a food fest. Try it out. Rise Bagels staff are very friendly, provide recommendations and provide quick service. Enjoy the surrounding environment while dining in!

And I truly believe that they are not really made out to be a full-service restaurant as much as I like their dedication and drive. I had a reservation at 7 pm. I checked in at 6:45 pm. At 7:25 pm, they brought us in and did not have a table ready for us. They made a table then after a table left 15 minutes later, they rearranged us. I do not understand why you offer reservations if you will not actually honor the system. Around 8 pm, we asked if we could order as they had only brought water. Listen I understand. You're closing soon. You only had 1 server for the entire restaurant the weekend of Valentines. You have to go lean on the busiest last weekend ..? I don't actually understand. When all came to, they were not offering dessert because "they were saving it for Valentine's Day". No notification about when their kitchen closed and no asks if anybody wanted to order for to-go. On top of that, everyone did not have free parking and had to pay upon exit even with validation. You will do great as a ghost kitchen since the food was good and everyone enjoyed it. If you come back as a full service, I would seriously reconsider how you do business.
