If you are looking for a bakery with fresh high quality pan dulce, this is your place. The bakery is nicely lit, very clean, and the staff is welcoming. The cafe de latte and chocolate abuelita latte were the best choices my friend and I could've gotten. They were the right amount of sweet. We also had so many yummy bread options to pick from, but we grabbed the guayaba pan and it was delicious! There is no seating inside, but outside there are only about 3 Small tables to accommodate 1-3 people. Plan accordingly for seating or just grab to go!

This place has been on my list for awhile and it did not disappoint! We went on a Sunday around 11am. They still had a lot of options but it looked like they were baking more goods. The pan we thought was not the best: puerquito, cubileta de queso (super dry). The starts of the show: *the matcha concha was so good! The pan was so soft and pillowy- even after saying it for a day. *galletas de canela were so good! *chocolate chip cookies were soooo good too. Chewy and flavorful All of that came out to $29 (with tip) which is a lot. I would come back to just get one or two, cause $30 for pan is a lot. Overall the pan was good. Some hits and some misses. We would come back to try their coffee.

Super cute bakery shop I love all the decor and how they have the bread inside the cabinets looking clean. I tried the matcha concha you can't really taste the matcha but decent concha. I had the matcha latte and it was just ok nothing special maybe I should try their coffee. But bonus points for how cute this place is.

I recommend this spot! They have the fluffiest conchas ever. Maybe the best conchas I've ever had in my whole life!!

    1. The pastries were delicious! The coffee was well-crafted! 2. The spot has fun casual vibes! The interior is nicely arranged! 3. The staff was friendly and timely with my order! My coffee was ready after 5 mins! 4. There are only outdoor seatings! There are few tables! 5. There are only metered parking and paid parking garages! Note: I did not see a restroom available for customers! Photo: Horchata Latte, Rollo De Mora, and Puerquito

I arrived by noon so most of their bakery items were sold out. I tried their biscuit, which was moist, lightly buttered and fluffy. Was not dry at all and tasted good alone. Complimentary conchas were provided. You can see the bakers hand roll all their goods right in front of you. The cold brew cafe olle, was simple. It tasted like coffee and chocolate syrup.

Pan y Cafe is around the corner from Cafe Cultura, its sister establishment. When I stumbled upon Pan y Cafe I had no idea they were related. I was about to go to the coffee shop across the street and was attracted to PyC by their colorful outdoor mural. I walked in and there was a short line at the register. I could smell the tantalizing aroma of fresh baked pan dulce. I was immediately greeting by a very nice lady behind the counter. After I grabbed my pan dulce from the beautiful spotlight display cabinets (made me feel like I was shopping at a luxury boutique), the same lady helped me take my coffee order. I got a matcha concha, chocolate concha, iced Cafe de Olla and Abuelita Latte with oat milk. Both my friend and I loved our concha's and coffee. Personally, I had the Abuelita Latte and it definitely tasted like the famous Mexican hot chocolate. The reason for my 4 stars is because my Abuelita Latte needed some more caffeine. Don't get me wrong, it was delicious, but I needed the extra boost for my workday.

Small to go Bakery in Downtown Santa Ana. Love the aesthetic of the place. You come in and grab your pastries on the tray and bring it to the front. I love savory pastries so I got the Al Pastor Croissant, the Cheddar Chorizo Biscuit, and the Jalapeño Cream Cheese Bolillo. All of them were delicious! I also got the Horchata Latte which was also delicious. Love how open the bakery is. When you walk in you can see them prep all the pastries right there. Definitely try this if you're in the area! PS. For parking there is a garage across the street but it is paid parking.

Such a cute place, friendly employees and the aestheticssss! However, I think the drink and bread is decent, not something I would go out of my way for. A little bit on the pricier end.

Best chocolate chip cookies in OC! I love this place, some of the best bakery in OC the chocolate chips are the best I've had. Inside is clean and cute and the staff is very friendly. The clerk today gave my daughter two free baked breads because she was curious what it tasted like. It made my heart melt thank you! I highly recommend this bakery. And it's open everyday late!

Already loved Cafe Cultura, so I was happy they opened a bakery and coffee shop just next door! Much shorter wait times for coffee annnnd the baked goods are bomb. I got the cafe de olla (pictured) and their jalapeño cream cheese bolillo (not pictured bc couldn't wait). Cafe de olla was a great coffee flavor and flakey, the bolillo was super soft and good. 10/10 will be going back and getting the bolillo again.

We were just walking around the area when we stumbled upon this bakery. I'm so glad we stopped! We tried a couple breads and they were all so good. I was honestly expecting mid, dry, just enough to fulfill the craving of a sweet bread but BOY WAS I WRONG! Every single piece we tried was flavorful, soft on the inside, just amazing! 10/10 need to go back. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The shop was clean and spacious. Loved it.

Well I came and I tried . The croissant was not what I was hoping for , it was not fluffy and barely had any chocolate. The horchata coffee was small and made to where I could barely taste any horchata in it and the cafe de olla was from the bottom of the olla and maybe a day old because it was sour and was just not very good . I won't come back and can I honestly say I simply regret coming in here . So long average Pan y Cafe .

The space is really bright and calm with a ton of seating, and there were lots of people working on laptops, so it definitely feels like a good place to hang out for a while. What I loved most was the neighborhood vibe. People were greeting the barista by name and saying "see you next time" when they left, which made it feel like one of those local spots everyone secretly wants as their regular coffee shop. The barista was super friendly too and chatted with me while making my drink. I ordered the iced vanilla latte and it was great--smooth and not overly sweet (which is rare because vanilla lattes can easily taste like dessert). Overall, very cute spot, great vibe, and good coffee. If I lived closer this would definitely become one of my regular stops.

I believe their espresso leans toward a lighter roast, coming through bright and expressive, while the milk drinks are dialed in with that smooth, silky texture that makes you want to savor. That said, the drinks don't always scratch the itch for me in the way I might expect but it might just be that their speciality drinks aren't quite what I typically look for. Nonetheless I do still think they have a strong coffee program and a team that clearly cares about craft.

Great service caught me at Enchanted Coffee…read more Some coffee shops serve great coffee. Others leave you thinking about the experience long after you've left. Enchanted Coffee did exactly that. I stopped by around 12:40 p.m. on a weekday, and the café was already bustling with customers. Luckily, I found the perfect outdoor seat where I could enjoy the sunshine without sitting directly in it. Inside was clean and welcoming, with mostly high-top seating, a communal island, and a small corner with traditional tables. Being on the shorter side, I knew the patio was my best option. During my visit, I also noticed guests enjoying the café with their dogs, adding to the relaxed neighborhood feel. Whenever I visit a new restaurant or coffee shop, I'm looking for more than great food. I'm paying attention to the experience. Customer service is where I believe businesses either shine or fall flat, and it's often what determines whether I'll return. I ordered the Lox Bagel along with a lavender oat milk matcha. I asked if I could add a single shot of espresso, but Elizabeth explained they pull two shots at a time. I laughed and told her, "I don't want you to dump it," so I happily took the double shot. She also let me know the bagel would likely take 20-25 minutes because only two employees were working. I appreciated her honesty and told her to take her time. Instead, my food arrived in less than 10 minutes. The Lox Bagel came on an everything bagel which was my choice, smoked salmon, cream cheese, arugula, tomatoes, red onion, and capers. They serve it whole, allowing you to slice it yourself. The bagel had the perfect toasted crunch, while the combination of creamy cream cheese, fresh vegetables, salty capers, and rich salmon created a bite that was balanced and incredibly satisfying. The dirty lavender matcha paired beautifully with it. As more customers continued to pour in, I couldn't help but watch how the staff handled the growing crowd. People patiently waited in line, squeezed into available seats, grabbed drinks to go, and somehow everything continued flowing smoothly. Even with only two employees working, the service never lost its warmth. Enchanted Coffee captivated me with more than its coffee. It was the hospitality, the honesty, and the overall experience that won me over. Needless to say, they've earned themselves a new weekly customer. If you're in the area or simply want to be captivated by the drinks, food and service...definitely give them a try.

Finally a couple weeks go by and we get there with the line not too busy so we wait for about 20 mins in line with only 5 people ahead of us which I felt was a bit crazy but we're already here. Finally we order and get a breakfast burrito and a torta to eat in totaling out to 35$ just between those two items, but hey if it's good who cares right. We notice that there is no assigned seating and we're told to grab a seat where ever we liked so we go to the only table available inside about 10 mins after sitting and waiting for our food one of the waiters comes up to us and tells us we can't sit at the table because it's meant for a bigger party and that there is a table all the way in the back next to the restrooms that we need to move to because they need to save this table in case a big party comes in. I told her that these were the only seats available when we got here and i'd have no problem moving if a bigger party came through however there wasn't anybody waiting in line or ordering so we were gonna continue to wait here. the waitress proceeded to tell me that she doesn't know how else to say this but we aren't allowed to sit there, and we just exchange awkward silence. she gave up after about a minute of telling us to go to the back of the restaurant. All this could be overlooked if the food was amazing so i was really hoping it would be good and then finally after about 16 mins of waiting and being told to move by staff the food comes out. the waiter drops my plate so that it clatters as it hits the table and the nail in the coffin is that the food was honestly borderline bad, burrito lacked seasoning but was smothered in salsa to attempt to hide its mediocrity, it came with two more salsas on the side and chips but the chips were cold and stale unsure if they just gave me old chips because they were upset with me not moving to the back for them or if their chips are always that stale and unsalted. won't be making a return save urself the money and go try any other Mexican place their food will be better and cheaper.
