Starting with the drink, I thought it was very bland and the coffee seemed a bit watered through. It was around $7 i think and the cold foam was extra. It was overall an OK drink. Did I finish all of it? Yes. Would I get it again? Probably not. There was a parking structure that I parked in for free when i visited, and there was also street parking which was full. It was quite empty when I went over the weekend but the inside was very bright and the lady working was very nice and friendly. overall it was too much of a hassle for me to find the place and park for me to return, but it was good to try!

Found this gem on my first day of jury duty at the Santa Ana courthouse and never looked back. I visited Papercup Coffee three times during my service and loved everything. The cardamom and tiramisu lattes were delicious, with a perfect balance of flavor that didn't overpower the coffee. The cold brew was remarkably smooth yet strong. For food, the hummus sandwich and labneh toast were fresh, flavorful, and hearty enough to sustain me through long afternoons, and the borekas had a wonderfully flaky pastry. To make it even better, the staff is incredibly welcoming, pleasant, and helpful, which really brightened up my jury duty breaks! Highly recommend!

Coffee - not tasty, but caffeine did the work. Food - I ordered a sandwich, and it was okay. The rhye bread was good. It included labneh, one slice of tomato, a few pickled vegetables, and a few cucumber slices that had a slight freeze bite. Parking - you have to find pay per hour street parking. Vibe - lots of space to work on Thursday afternoon, lighting was nice, but not my music vibe. I would find a different place to co-work next time.

Papercup coffee is such a great addition to the community! It was my first time going and the owner Mervat provided exceptional service! Everything was DELICIOUS. Homemade goods, it doesn't get better. Highly recommend the tiramisu latte (add an extra shot for coffee lovers) you don't be disappointed. This place also has a cozy ambiance, table games provided upon entry it's definitely a catch up and enjoyable time with a friend or even family. Will definitely be coming back

Friendly and efficient service. Pleasant environment. Nice place to work, meet up with a friend, or just relax with a delicious cup of coffee, or in my case a cappuccino. Check it out!

First time trying this place today. Contrary to all the modern coffee shops that exist today, this place has a vintage, old school feel which I love. It has plenty of seating and a selection of books that you can read while you sip on your drink. Ordered a couple Sage Brown Sugar Lattes with a Man'oushi cheese Pie. It was also my first time trying this "cheese pie" - to my disappointment, it was basically pita bread with melted cheese and herbs. It looked very basic but it ended up being actually pretty good. All in all, decent coffee and snacks at a reasonable price. The lady who owns the place was very kind which is something you don't get from many coffee shops these days. I recommend this place just based on her service alone.

    1. The latte had a delicious blend! I also really like the zaatar pie! 2. The spot has cozy casual vibes! The interior has cool decor as well as high ceilings! 3. There are both indoor and outdoor areas! There are a good number of seatings available! 4. The staff was friendly and timely with my order! The drink was ready in 5 mins, and the pie was ready in less than 15 mins! 5. Paid Street parking is available as well as paid parking garages down the street! Note: There is a single restroom available for customers, and it requires a code! The bathroom is very clean! Photo: Honey Lavender Latte and Man'oushi Zaatar Pie

I finally had the chance to try Papercup coffee the other day and it was amazing! The coffee was excellent- 10/10. I ordered the iced Spanish latte and the iced tiramisu latte with oat milk. Their Spanish latte is one of the best I've ever tried. You get the bold flavor of the espresso but also some sweetness and cinnamon in there. The tiramisu latte was also wonderful. You can taste the delicious tiramisu flavor as well as the espresso. I love the cold foam they add on top as well. Their avocado toast was also 10/10! Super yummy with thick bread, plenty of avocado, small cherry tomatoes, crumbled feta cheese, and olive oil drizzled on top. The café itself was lovely! There are plenty of seating areas throughout. The place reminds me of a greenhouse and it has a really cute vintage vibe. Some of their furniture looks Victorian and it was also very clean inside. The cashier was warm and welcoming. I just wish the place was open a little later on Saturdays. On Saturdays, it's open from 9 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday through Friday it's open from 7:00 a.m to 4:00 p.m. I parked in the metered street parking nearby. I will definitely be coming back to get their coffee again! I'm also curious to try other food items such as their Atlantic Smoked Salmon sandwich.

The Civic Center Plaza Towers' public parking garage is $2 per 30 min. If you purchase $10+ at the cafe, you can get a validation sticker for up to 3 hours. The garage entrance is on North Parton. There's also street parking if you can find it! I saw about 2 outlets on the side of the cafe, so I highly recommend arriving topped up if you plan on cramming/working here. The chairs are cozy give off grandma's dining table vibes, unlike the hard plastic seats that you typically find at new, modern-style cafes. This is such a huge consideration when choosing a cafe to work in for a few hours. The atmosphere is still warm & inviting, and the tables by the side window allow you to get some much needed sun in the winter. There is a little library with a variety of books from comics to Shakespeare. I appreciate cozy, home-y atmospheres like this and wish there were more like this cafe. Feta & mozzarella boreka (5.0) Perfect for savory, salty pastry lovers. It takes about 10 min because it arrives to you freshly baked. It's her homemade puff pastry with salty feta and creamy mozzarella. I really want to try the potato & mushroom one now! Sage brown sugar latte (4.5) I was worried that the brown sugar would overpower the sage, but this late was pleasantly bittersweet! I could taste the sage more than the brown sugar, which is really nice because I prefer drinks half sweet.

A lovely space with even lovelier owners. Mervat was so kind and warm. She welcomed me in a way that felt like I was visiting her home. She answered any questions I had and kindly guided me through her uniquely curated menu. The ambiance is super cozy and not boringly modern like a lot of coffee shops nowadays. I cannot emphasize enough how gorgeous the window area is. Such a nice spot to spend your day. There are plenty of tables and outlets and the WiFi works great. I tried their iced cardamom brown sugar latte (quad). Perfectly balanced. The cardamom worked really well with the sweetness. Def recommend. Can't wait to try their other drinks! For food I got to try two of their middle eastern pastries. One stuffed with meat and the other cheese. The name escapes me, but they were both SO GOOD. Toasted to perfection with a comforting warm savory center. A must try! Since I spent most of my day there I got to try two sandwiches. Roast beef and cheese croissant for breakfast and their pastrami pesto on ciabatta for lunch. Both were very yummy! Perfectly toasted. Everything is made fresh that day and the lunch items are made to order. Delicious! I can safely say I didn't have not one thing that I didn't thoroughly enjoy. Thank you again Mervat for your wonderful hospitality. I will be sure to tell everyone I know about your beautiful establishment :)

The barista was very friendly and welcoming. I got the sage brown sugar latte and my friend got the rosemary honey latte. I liked that they have a lot of unique flavors. They also open early, which is nice if you want to get work done during the morning too. The space is clean and aesthetic, with a few outlets. Best of all, they have delicious food and it doesn't get crowded here. The cafe is tucked in a big office building, so I recommended parking in the public parking structure or to do street parking. Excited to come back to try more of their food and drinks

I believe their espresso leans toward a lighter roast, coming through bright and expressive, while the milk drinks are dialed in with that smooth, silky texture that makes you want to savor. That said, the drinks don't always scratch the itch for me in the way I might expect but it might just be that their speciality drinks aren't quite what I typically look for. Enchanted Coffee did exactly that. I stopped by around 12:40 p.m. on a weekday, and the café was already bustling with customers. Luckily, I found the perfect outdoor seat where I could enjoy the sunshine without sitting directly in it. Inside was clean and welcoming, with mostly high-top seating, a communal island, and a small corner with traditional tables. Being on the shorter side, I knew the patio was my best option. During my visit, I also noticed guests enjoying the café with their dogs, adding to the relaxed neighborhood feel. Whenever I visit a new restaurant or coffee shop, I'm looking for more than great food. I'm paying attention to the experience. Customer service is where I believe businesses either shine or fall flat, and it's often what determines whether I'll return. I ordered the Lox Bagel along with a lavender oat milk matcha. I asked if I could add a single shot of espresso, but Elizabeth explained they pull two shots at a time. I laughed and told her, "I don't want you to dump it," so I happily took the double shot. She also let me know the bagel would likely take 20-25 minutes because only two employees were working. I appreciated her honesty and told her to take her time. Instead, my food arrived in less than 10 minutes. The Lox Bagel came on an everything bagel which was my choice, smoked salmon, cream cheese, arugula, tomatoes, red onion, and capers. They serve it whole, allowing you to slice it yourself. The bagel had the perfect toasted crunch, while the combination of creamy cream cheese, fresh vegetables, salty capers, and rich salmon created a bite that was balanced and incredibly satisfying. The dirty lavender matcha paired beautifully with it. As more customers continued to pour in, I couldn't help but watch how the staff handled the growing crowd. People patiently waited in line, squeezed into available seats, grabbed drinks to go, and somehow everything continued flowing smoothly. Even with only two employees working, the service never lost its warmth. Enchanted Coffee captivated me with more than its coffee. It was the hospitality, the honesty, and the overall experience that won me over. Needless to say, they've earned themselves a new weekly customer. If you're in the area or simply want to be captivated by the drinks, food and service...definitely give them a try.

I get the hype! Airoma Cafe constantly ranks high on the list of best matcha spots in Southern…read moreCalifornia. The cafe is cute with a small number of interior tables. They are located in the same plaza as Brodard, Vox Kitchen, Rol Handbar, etc. in Fountain Valley. This location is open later than the other Airoma. They use ceremonial matcha which makes a huge difference. I ordered the strawberry matcha latte (74% sweet) after trying one previously in LA. I paid and waited for my order to be ready. After a few minutes, I received my order. I shook it up and tried it. Delicious! Even better than I remembered. My husband who doesn't usually enjoy matcha, tried it and liked it. He does not dig the earthy taste, but this drink changed his perspective. Airoma made my husband a believer in matcha. We do not usually go out too often for matcha, but when I'm in the mood next, this place will be a must visit. I'll have to try their egg coffee in the future too.

I actually keep hoping that they open another location over near Cerritos/Artesia. There was a line leading outside of the building, but it moved pretty quickly. I ordered a pandan latte and I'd say it was just as good as their original location! Not overly sweet with a really tasty pandan flavor. Lots and lots of parking in the plaza. And service was very quick. There's very minimal seating on the left hand side of where you order. I wouldn't say this is the ideal shop to work in and hang out and chat, but that's fine.

Excellent Vietnamese coffee spot, top tier! Parking is easy…read moreand free, in a strip mall. Service is friendly and efficient, you get a buzzer for your drinks/food. We tried their Hazelnut Phin Coffee which was strong and full bodied flavor- one of my favorite. I also liked their peanut butter espresso (not Phin, so a little weaker) but very good. We also tried their Chocolate croissant which was extremely flaky (and embarrassing how much of a mess we made) but delicious. Their Bahn Mi Que (southern Viet sandwich) which comes in a pack of 2 small ones, which was well flavored and delicious. Will be back when in the area. They also have water and tea for free if sitting down! WiFi and clean bathrooms- a good place to study or hang out.

Be prepared for a very long wait and the possibility of them losing your order ticket…read more Parking is also pretty difficult, as the lot is small. Ordering was quick but they were clearly making drinks out of order because several people who ordered the same drink (pandan espresso) got theirs before me, despite ordering after me. Also, after checking on the status of my drinks with the person calling out names/buzzing the buzzers, he just went to the back and... never came back? And after asking again after another 5-10 minutes, they tried to tell me if I wanted my drink now, I'd have to accept one without my sweetness adjustment? They also gave me cups with different people's order tickets on them (but the drinks themselves were right), so I'm fairly certain they lost my drink ticket and have passed the problem onto other people now. Overall, not a good experience and wouldn't come back; the pandan espresso was alright but Airoma's is still better.
