I wish I lived closer! Second trip, and now this is one of my fav OC coffee/tea spots…read more Brought my friend for her B-day on a Sat mid-morning in Sept. The line goes to the door much of the time, but they keep it moving, keep it kind, and the one barista keeps the drinks coming out so quickly that you barely have time to find a seat! It was pretty full again with half studier/workers and half friend pairs/ groups. We happened to come on the day they had a collab for jeans recycling with Madewell: donate a pair of jeans and get a free 12-oz drink from the "taplist" (regular menu list) plus a coupon for 15% off a pair of jeans! What a great and generous promo for a cause. Inside vinyl shops look fun. I am sad that the stationery shop is gone, but still looking forward to bringing my fam to check our the vinyl and fun drinks. The drinks: We came here just for the Fall Banoffee Latte because we crave/miss this British flavor. It was pretty good and a good sweetness, but I think toffee topping or a little more toffee flavor would've elevated it. I actually liked the free pour of Strawberry Swing even better! Green tea with strawberry flavor and a floral touch without bitterness. Had a taste of my friend's Princess Daisy green tea with mango/passion fruit, and it had a bit of bitter/tea flavor, but it grew on my friend's palate with every sip. The food: Only tried the cinamon sugar donut, which was tasty, solid regualr yeast donut topped with ?buttercream frosting and 8 or so cinnamon toast crunch pieces. The add-it-yourself maple drizzle dropper was a fun touch, though might've liked it a tad more viscous if possible (turned out looking like it rained maple syrup on the donut, heh). Plenty of parking on Orange St public parking lot or along that street. Now they charge at the lot, about $1.45 per hour (oh well, better than LA parking). Looking forward to returning! Maybe for the bananas foster matcha (heard good things from friend of a foodie friend :)).

Rekindling my soul, one cup at a time and giving my body that much needed jumpstart of energy!…read more Rekindle Coffee just keeps drawing you back! Their regular menu has plenty of choices, but then they put out their specialty menu and you realize they made your choice two times harder! They definitely know how to showcase their fun side and tantalize your taste buds. The shop itself is cute and quaint. It can get a little crowded when they're busy. Luckily, they also have some outdoor seating. If there's a wait, don't worry it will be worth it! As the season changes so does Rekindle. The shop gets dressed up to match the season and they roll out the specialty menu to go along. Always something new that catches my eye. This time it was The FrankenMatcha, a lavender vanilla matcha with white chocolate cold foam. If Halloween had a flavor, the FrankenMatcha would be it. Creepy color, a little unexpected, and wickedly good. Matcha on another level!! One time it was the Island Chai calling my name. It's a banana chai with piña colada cold foam and toasted coconut, and it was such a fun combination. Creamy, tropical, and definitely not your everyday chai! And don't skip the bakery case! They have what feels like endless treats! From big cookies, brownies, pastries, cakes, and plenty of other goodies. The perfect fall pick was the pumpkin shaped croissant and the pumpkin pie. There really is a little something for almost anyone, whether you're stopping in just for coffee or want dessert to go with it. Between the creative drinks, constantly changing seasonal menus, and a bakery case that makes it nearly impossible to pick just one thing, If you're looking for that spark to get your day going, don't pass this one up

I love their Halloween menu! Not to mention their decorations inside the coffee shop!…read more They have a HUGE variety of Halloween themed pastries, cookies, cakes, cake pops, muffins, and scones! Not many coffee shops have this many themed baked goods in their shop, so I could tell this place was special. Their ghost-shaped pastries and pumpkin shaped past tastier made me feel like I was transported to Hogwarts for a moment, I ordered 2 pastries! I got just a normal Apple turnover which was good, but the real winner was the Pumpkin Scone. When I say that this was the BEST pumpkin scone I've ever had, I mean it. The pumpkin & cinnamon spices come through beautifully and I paired it with one of their featured drinks : Graveyard Smash with almond milk. The Graveyard Smash was good and I knew it would be on the sweeter side, but it wasn't overly sweet at all! I also forced myself to not drink it so fast, because it was so tasty. The main flavors are hazelnut, chai, & chocolate, which was an interesting mix I haven't seen at many coffee shops. I really need to come back to Rekindle soon and try more of their Halloween menu before it goes away!

Play had more adults in it who have kids, a life, and responsibility so they're in there taking advantage of the time they got to work. It's super spacious in there though there isn't a ton of seating and not a lot of charger plugs. The feel in there is a mix of feeling like you should bring someone there if you want to have a more intimate conversation but not mind if people are sitting around listening. It's not too loud though where you can still put your head down and work and for being a rapper is a good place to practice my lyrics without feeling like im disturbing people. The seating though is a little rough, so bring some cushion. I had a chai and it was perfectly made. The individuals making the drinks where full of love and created quickly. Great coffee shop created in the rimnense of a bank.

Oh, The Lost Bean... I'm at a loss for words…read more I really wanted to love this location. I've been a customer at the Tustin location for years, so I walked in excited. Unfortunately, this visit was one disappointment after another. We arrived at 8:30 a.m. hoping for a peaceful coffee-and-breakfast morning. Instead, we accidentally wandered into what felt like a Janis Joplin tribute concert. The music was blasting at nightclub volume--not exactly the relaxing start to the day we had in mind. But surprisingly... that wasn't even the worst part. The food was incredibly disappointing. I ordered the breakfast burrito, and the potatoes were still raw--hard enough to remind me they were once part of the ground.. My husband ordered the French toast, which looked suspiciously like it took a quick detour from Trader Joe's frozen aisle before landing on our table. There's nothing wrong with frozen French toast... unless you're charging $14 and calling it brunch. Another friend ordered the granola with berries. After a few bites, he gave it a skeptical look, pushed the bowl away, and decided breakfast simply wasn't worth the gamble. The coffee was decent , but honestly wasn't worth fighting the neighbors for a parking spot!

AMBIENCE: There are plenty of seating options and a huge variety, from cozy couches and individual tables to large communal tables on the patio and even a small table upstairs with a view. There's also a prayer room, a kids' area, books, toys, and a chessboard. Every nook and cranny feels thoughtfully designed, I could not stop taking photos! I especially love how they transformed a house into such a cute, welcoming cafe. The space is incredibly spacious, and you could easily spend hours here without getting bored. Parking is available on the street or in a nearby parking structure. The staff were friendly, too! DRINKS: I ordered the classic Vanilla Latte, which was smooth and not overly sweet. My boyfriend got their seasonal S'mores Latte, topped with mini marshmallows and graham crackers. It was a little sweeter than mine but still really good! FOOD: We ordered the Ham & Cheese Croissant and the Chocolate Croissant, and both were delicious, especially after being warmed up! The ham wasn't evenly distributed throughout the first croissant, so some bites were missing the ham, but it was still very tasty overall. The Chocolate Croissant wasn't overly sweet, either. Both had such a good taste and texture that we finished them in no time! Already thinking about when I can bring my friends here next time! This is definitely a spot I'd love to revisit.
