I overall had a great experience here! My partner and I shared the breakfast sandwich (which came with a side of country style potatoes) and the strawberry cream soufflé cakes. Firstly, the breakfast sandwich was one of the best things i've ever had. It was so flavorful, the egg inside was so soft and there was so much packed into that sandwich. The bun was buttery and the potatoes that come on the side are so crispy. Secondly, the soufflé cakes are nothing too special. They lack flavor, most of the flavor coming from the cream on top and the strawberries served on the side. I would say they are good for pictures but the taste themselves is just lacking. The restaurant is a cute little spot, I didn't notice too much indoor seating but there are plenty of spots outside. You order yourself inside and the workers bring the food out, everyone working there was super kind! I will definitely be coming back for that sandwich!!

If you go here for the lunch break on weekday or weekend, you'll see a long line so just be aware about that. But service is pretty good and people there are friendly as well. It can get a bit hectic. There is no seating inside but seating outside. There are usually spots available since many do takeout vs. eating there. As for the food, I always go with spaghetti grilled cheese and it's so good. It's a lot in my opinion that I can only eat half of it but it's still good as a leftover as well. So I highly recommend if you like spaghetti and grilled cheese but want it one. There are also good food choices there so I highly recommend trying other ones as well. Overall, a good spot for lunch but just know parking is hard and you may wait a bit in line plus food but pretty worth it in my opinion.
The food here is amazing, we loved every single item we got. The fried chicken sandwich was 10/10 and the soufflé pancakes are really fluffy and tasty. The service is quick, there's a line but it goes by quick and food comes out pretty quick as well. Very casual atmosphere, but crowded great place to grab a quick or nice brunch
Wow! This brunch spot is a 10 out of 10. The ambiance was welcoming and the outdoor dining area was spacious and clean. The gentleman taking our order was extremely helpful in guiding us to some fantastic food choices. The wait staff was also courteous and friendly. But the star of the show was definitely the food. We ordered the bacon egg and cheese sandwich on a pillowy brioche bun (Excellent sandwich) and we also ordered the house special the souffle pancakes, I don't know how they made them but they are like a lemon meringue texture,but in pancake form....(Super Delicious) This is a must try in the city of Irvine and we will 100% be back to try the breakfast burrito!

With it came some potatoes and those were YUMMY! We're picky on our potatoes as some places either make them too soft or dense. These had a nice crunch and still fluffy in the middle. I got the Strawberry Soufflé Pancakes! It comes with two per order and was very jiggly. The pancakes were soft, fluffy, and airy. The strawberry sauce and cream on top that it comes with added a nice acidity and sweetness. Then to finish it off, some nice actual strawberries. Will come back to try more on their menu!! Service was fast as well and the staff were helpfully on suggestions to try :) Plenty of parking as well in the area as it's in a shopping plaza.

Easy to order, super friendly and helpful staff, not a lot of space inside, so be ready to order and move on out to the many tables outside the area. Parking, a pain in the butt as usual in California. This is also a tight parking area, so be ready for it. Drinks were good, I would not give the Vietnamese coffee the best review, but it was good, just not great. The food though, excellent! Definitely loved the pancakes and I was able to try the carne asada quesadilla which was out of this world. I would highly recommend this spot and the food was great. Definitely recommend this brunch place. Line was out the door and we waited about 15-20 mins or so for our group of 7, but the food arrived no later than 10 mins or so after ordering. They have many outdoor tables with slight roof covering to prevent sunburn. I had to go with sweet and savory. I ordered the breakfast burrito which was very good and came with potatoes. One of the best breakfast burritos I've ever had. I also got the strawberry cream soufflé pancakes and loved the fluffiness. The outer strawberry glaze was sweet. This place was so yummy! Found it randomly on Yelp and so glad that I did. Those Strawberry pancakes I'm coming back solely for those The place is in like a strip mall so the line looks a little intimidating but it moves quick. They have bus sets outside constantly cleaning the tables, clearing tables etc. Also had the biscuits and gravy biscuits were hard and sweet so I didn't like that. Staff was really nice and helpful. Definitely will come back.
This is our first time at Burnt Crumbs and now I understand the popularity. The food is amazing and reasonably priced. We ordered the original soufflé pancakes, bacon sandwich, bacon burrito and Vietnamese coffee. Everything was so delicious! The star of the show was definitely the soufflé pancakes and the potatoes. The pancakes were so light and airy. The potatoes were flavorful and so crispy. The lines were long and it does take some time for the line to move, but after you're done ordering, the food comes out so fast! Can't wait to come back here to try their other items.
I thought this place was overhyped, but honestly, it was really good and the flavors were really good and the service was really quick. Hopefully will try their fluffy pancakes next time!
The sizes are insane and definitely shareable which is amazing!! It's a bang for your buck for sure. The food was delicious and definitely lived up to the hype. Definitely can have some long lines on the weekends but it does keep moving along. It is order and then seat yourself so keep that in mind. There's minimal seating indoors and definitely more seating outdoors. The only thing I wish was the salsa would be spicy but I will be back.

We quickly ordered at the front counter and they brought out the food to us within a few minutes! Lots of outdoor patio seating but it was kinda sunny Strawberry soufflé pancakes (5/5): the best soufflé pancakes I've ever had! They were so warm and fluffy. The strawberry cream was so good too and not too sweet. I liked the strawberry purée/drizzle and fresh strawberries too Breakfast quesadilla with carne asada (4/5): huge portion and stuffed with carne asada, eggs and potatoes. I wasn't a fan of the cheese on the quesadilla, it was a bit salty to me. The side potatoes, pico de gallo, and salsa/cilantro crema were good and helped balance out the richness Portions were generous, my sister and I shared everything and were stuffed. Prices are decent and service was limited but quick and friendly. I would definitely come back if I was in the area!
Small menu ensures overall quality=such good food. All portions are very large. The carne asada salad was delicious. Need to go back to try more items. Friendly staff as well. Limited indoor seating but tons of outdoor seating. read more

Cute restaurant where you order at the counter and they bring it to you. There's a few small tables and counter space inside and plenty of seating outside (especially if you and your party want to order from different restaurants). Their soufflé pancakes ARE A MUST - they taste like marshmallow but less chewy. Their burrito and sandwich were good in taste and portion as well. I will definitely return for more soufflé pancakes because one flavor changes weekly too! read more

Been wanting to try this place and it certainly lives up to the hype! We came a little after 11 am on a weekday and there was no line to order. You order at the front and can sit anywhere. Tons of outdoor seating with some indoors but be careful of the birds lol. Service was super friendly and thoughtful as they asked if we wanted extra plates to share. And the food came out quickly! -Strawberry soufflé pancakes (5/5): super soft, moist and delicious! The strawberry cream was so good and perfectly sweet. -Breakfast quesadilla (4/5): super HUGE and filled with eggs, potatoes and carne asada. Love that it came with pico de gallo and cilantro creama and salsa, though it was a bit salty. The potatoes on the side were tasty, crispy and nicely seasoned! Overall, solid food and generous portions. My sister and I shared the two dishes and we were stuffed. I would be back to try their other dishes! read more
Fun place for breakfast, with a constant steam of Japanese souffle pancakes on the grill at all times, a little bit of indoor seating, and extensive outdoor seating, with appropriately layers of wood and glass decor inside. The current special was mango creme souffle pancakes when I visited, and while they had a bit more structure than some others, they were still appropriately light and fluffy. Wasn't quite as impressed by the rest of the meal; wanted a side of eggs and sausage but didn't see that on the menu (just one of the two was available as a side), ended up ordering the 2 eggs meal as well to get my eggs and sausage. The eggs are default soft scrambled (you can ask however you want) and are okay, the breakfast sausage was a huge patty but the flavor didn't do it for me. Came with breakfast potatoes as well, which were delicious and crispy, and the Texas toast is huge (as it should be) - but man that was a lot of food. Which when you think about it, actually makes the various 2-egg breakfast meals a pretty good deal... The kitchen is quite fast and almost makes up for the long wait to order, I got there at noon and had a 35 minute wait in line. Really wanted to like this place, but in the end it feels pretty out of the way. Add in the long wait and the verdict seems to be, I'm glad I went, but not sure I'd come back unless I was already in the area. read more
Stopped by Burnt Crumb for breakfast and really enjoyed it. We ordered the strawberry soufflé pancakes and the 2 eggs any style breakfast with bacon, potatoes, and toast. Both didn't disappoint. The pancakes were light and fluffy but had few strawberry pieces, and the breakfast plate was very satisfying. Loved the crispy edges on the bacon. The staff was super friendly. Great spot for breakfast. Looking forward to trying other menu options. read more
This place is in a class of its own! A MUST try in Orange County. I've had about 4-5 things so far and all were amazing. Chilaquiles were 10/10(I added an additional egg) The one constant that gets ordered is the soft egg sandwich. The carne asada quesadilla is the most filled quesadilla I've probably ever had! So much cheese, eggs, and meat! The potatoes that come with the majority of their entrees are very yummy! I would suggest serving them with a side of ketchup or maybe that honey hot sauce that they have. Just something to dip the potatoes in :) There will be a line on the weekends BUT the food comes out incredibly quick! A must try ! Good patio seating for the pup too ! read more
We ordered the egg quesadilla, strawberries, soufflé cake, and the spicy chicken sandwich The protein for our egg quesadilla was wrong. But we still ate it. the volume of it is huge. This is the best value dish on the menu The strawberry soufflé pancake was amazing not too sweet and fluffy. We were licking the plate. The spicy chicken burger sandwich was peppery and hot! My tongue was burning. I had to stop, but if you like spicy, this is definitely in your dish. The server was the tables we were trying to see that were not cleaned for a long time. I had to wave down a waitress to get them to take the dirty plates. They didn't clean or wiped the table so we had to wipe them ourselves. Burnt Crumbs is one of my daughter's favorite breakfast joints because of their weekly special on Souffle Pancakes. We come here especially when we need to do Costco runs at Technology Drive. It's convenient and close by. My daughter usually gets their Souffle Pancakes while I would alternate between their carne asada omelet or breakfast plate. The dishes are tasty and satisfying. Service is usually quick too. Indoor seating is limited. Most people prefer outdoor seatings. I recommend you come here before 9am. After 9am, there tends to be a line. Earlier the better so you have more time to start your day. read more

We randomly stumbled on this breakfast spot and I'm so happy we did. The menu had that perfect Southern California vibe with a few dishes that gave subtle Hawaii energy, which immediately pulled me in. I ordered the breakfast fried rice and wow. It had everything I love crispy bacon, sausage, ham, eggs all mixed together in the most comforting way. I grew up eating rice and eggs for breakfast, so this dish felt nostalgic but elevated. The only thing I'd add? A little spam to really give it that full Hawaii-style moment. But honestly, it was still perfection and exactly what I'd order again. We also got a classic breakfast with sausage patties, eggs, and toast. And I have to talk about the toast. It had that ideal thick-cut slice, super buttery, and toasted to absolute perfection. Simple, but done so right. Now... the star of the show: the berry soufflé pancakes. 10/10. I would go back just for those. They were insanely fluffy, literally melted in your mouth, and weren't overly sweet. The berry compote was balanced beautifully not too sugary, not tart or bitter just smooth, fresh, and perfectly paired with the pancakes. Every bite felt light but indulgent. And if you're a strong coffee person, you have to get the Vietnamese coffee. It was bold, rich, and so good that I genuinely wish I ordered a larger size. That's how much I loved it. Overall, such a solid breakfast spot with comforting flavors, thoughtful execution, and a few dishes that make it memorable. Definitely a place I'll be coming back to. read more
Finally I got to try this spot!!! Why it took me so long? Honestly the line is always so long, it was a turn off. I felt like I'd wait forever. But boy was I wrong! My bestie and I finally ventured into the line and it took no more than 10-15min wait. It moved fast so don't let the line keep you from trying this deliciousness. We followed the Yelper's advice and of course had the soufflé pancakes and omg the flavor is the best. It is a must! We also ordered the carne asada omelette and it was the cleanest omelette I've ever had. It was protein for sure, without the greasiness or heaviness meaty omelettes usually have. 100% recommend it! We shared both dishes and still got full. However, I could also have eaten both dishes alone haha so good! read more

TLDR: so mediocre idk what to say It's in a really impacted plaza with scarce parking. You order and pay first so there's no service to really talk about. The vibes are nonexistent. It's a very food court-like vibe, complete with the rickety sticky tables and uncomfortable metal chairs. The food is really mid - it's not bad but i can't think of a single good thing to say about it. Everything was pretty bland and heavy. read more

So yum... got a fried chicken sandwich with fries and a sweet tea with fruit puree... so delicious!! The chicken was crispy and the biscuit was so delicious! Not dry at all... did crumble though but no complaints. Workers super kind as well. Would recommend. read more
We're fans of Burnt Crumbs. We came across it after seeing all the positive Yelp reviews while looking for a place to eat before heading to SD. There are a few tables inside, along with plenty of outdoor seating. Each kid wanted the Cinnamon Toast Crunch Soufflé Pancake, so we ordered three of those. I went with the Avocado Toast with bacon and egg for an additional fee. The pancakes were a huge hit. Each kid cleaned their plate. Honestly, they were even better than my avocado toast, so I was happy knowing everyone left satisfied. Overall, it's a great breakfast spot for kids, and I'm looking forward to trying more items on the menu next time I'm in the area. read more

Passed by this place so many times and finally decided to stop by for breakfast! It was around 9am and luckily there wasn't much of line. After ordering, we didn't have to wait long at all. Their service is fast and efficient! Everything was delightfully tasty and I especially love their portions -- well worth it. Their strawberry soufflé pancakes aren't super sweet and are perfectly fluffy and light in the best way. Will be coming back to try more! read more
I love Burnt Crumbs! I have been here twice and it's now one of my favorite brunch spots. I have tried their shredded beef chilaquiles, breakfast burrito with carne asada, avocado toast with egg and bacon, carne asada omelette, biscuits, and of course their soufflé pancakes (strawberry cream with fresh strawberries and berry compote with vanilla cream). Everything is super delicious but my favorites have been the carne asada omelette, breakfast burrito with carne asada, and soufflé pancakes. They are incredible! Their breakfast burrito comes with plenty of carne asada, eggs, and cheese! Super yummy. Their omelette is also filled with carne asada, cheese, as well as avocado on top. I love their soufflé pancakes. Not only is the presentation of the pancakes absolutely beautiful; they are also super good! The sauce on top with the fresh berries is amazing. I love that they're so fluffy too. :) I have tried their Vietnamese coffee and I thought it was yummy, although it wasn't spectacular. I also did notice that the fried egg that came with my avocado toast was a little too runny, but other than that everything was phenomenal. Their service is wonderful. The cashiers and servers are friendly and welcoming. There is plenty of parking in the parking lot right in front and there is both outdoor and indoor seating. I would try to avoid going during peak brunch hours around 11-noonish because it gets packed. I would go earlier in the morning or a little later once the brunch traffic isn't as bad. read more
A great brunch place. Tasty, filling, comforting, what more can you ask for? Breakfast burrito: Get Super loaded, one burrito is for sure gunna fill u up until you can barely walk. We got the sausage but there's a few other meats you can choose. The potatoes that come with it were so crispy and fluffy B iscuits and G ravy: GET!!!!! I always have a weakness for b&g whenever i see it i need to get it, especially for brunch. This place does it justice and more. the biscuits were also so fluffy and buttery. And the two types of gravy (you can ask for both) coated the biscuits with the sauce of perfection. Our server was also very friendly and helped us out a lot so I appreciate her. i've had their strawberry souffle pancake a while back and their breakfast sandwich and both were good. what i tried this time: strawberry souffle pancake breakfast burrito + carne asada fried chicken sandwich strawberry lemonade orange juice i genuinely was obsessed with their breakfast burrito it was SO delicious, lowkey one of my favorite breakfast burritos i've had their souffle pancake was ofc sooo yummy, it was fluffy and light, and the strawberry cream + jam was amazing the fried chicken sandwich was so unique it had gravy and mashed potatoes on a biscuit!! it was good too!! tbh the drinks we got weren't anything special or crazy, but still nice and refreshing to sip on and yummy mainly outdoor seating, there's lots of it. the staff was superrr nice!!! i would sooooo recommend u def have to try them out if u haven't already!! read more

My daughter found this spot and we just had to come try the souffle pancakes. The line to place your order can be long, but it moves fairly quickly. Wow...so much flavor. Smallish place, you order at the counter but they bring the food to you. There's a large patio outside to sit at, and a few tables inside. We ordered the fluffy pancakes, carne asada breakfast burrito and egg plate with a side of asada. Breakfast burrito- I've never had a burrito with so much flavor. It was amazing. Came with a side of breakfast potatoes so it was very filling. The burrito itself was a great big size as well and their salsa for it was great. Fluffy pancakes- got the berry compote with it. I'm not a syrup person so this was great for me. The sweetness of the berries and cream complemented the sweetened fluffy pancakes. 2 egg plate and they were nice enough to add some asada on the side for my daughter. She loved it all. And the toast that came with it was huge and amazing too. Would definitely be coming back when we're in there area. read more

I havent seen any high chairs, all seating is outside on the patio and those are regular metal chairs/tables. Some have ada access. Also they dont take reservations. There is a qr code menu and the board when you stand in line. It goes pretty fast…

They do not take reservations- it is seat yourself, with ample first-come seating. You order at a counter and the food is brought to your table.

The breakfast burritos by default come with fried "breakfast homestyle potatoes" on the side, as well as a cup of house red salsa. Sriracha/Extra Red Salsa are available by request at no charge.
