With it came some potatoes and those were YUMMY! We're picky on our potatoes as some places either make them too soft or dense. These had a nice crunch and still fluffy in the middle. I got the Strawberry Soufflé Pancakes! It comes with two per order and was very jiggly. The pancakes were soft, fluffy, and airy. The strawberry sauce and cream on top that it comes with added a nice acidity and sweetness. Then to finish it off, some nice actual strawberries. Will come back to try more on their menu!! The sizes are insane and definitely shareable which is amazing!! It's a bang for your buck for sure. The food was delicious and definitely lived up to the hype. Definitely can have some long lines on the weekends but it does keep moving along. It is order and then seat yourself so keep that in mind. The current special was mango creme souffle pancakes when I visited, and while they had a bit more structure than some others, they were still appropriately light and fluffy. Wasn't quite as impressed by the rest of the meal; wanted a side of eggs and sausage but didn't see that on the menu (just one of the two was available as a side), ended up ordering the 2 eggs meal as well to get my eggs and sausage. The eggs are default soft scrambled (you can ask however you want) and are okay, the breakfast sausage was a huge patty but the flavor didn't do it for me. Came with breakfast potatoes as well, which were delicious and crispy, and the Texas toast is huge (as it should be) - but man that was a lot of food. Which when you think about it, actually makes the various 2-egg breakfast meals a pretty good deal... The kitchen is quite fast and almost makes up for the long wait to order, I got there at noon and had a 35 minute wait in line. Really wanted to like this place, but in the end it feels pretty out of the way. I love Burnt Crumbs! I have been here twice and it's now one of my favorite brunch spots. I have tried their shredded beef chilaquiles, breakfast burrito with carne asada, avocado toast with egg and bacon, carne asada omelette, biscuits, and of course their soufflé pancakes (strawberry cream with fresh strawberries and berry compote with vanilla cream). Everything is super delicious but my favorites have been the carne asada omelette, breakfast burrito with carne asada, and soufflé pancakes. They are incredible! Their breakfast burrito comes with plenty of carne asada, eggs, and cheese! Super yummy. Their omelette is also filled with carne asada, cheese, as well as avocado on top. I love their soufflé pancakes. Not only is the presentation of the pancakes absolutely beautiful; they are also super good! The sauce on top with the fresh berries is amazing. I love that they're so fluffy too. :) I have tried their Vietnamese coffee and I thought it was yummy, although it wasn't spectacular. I also did notice that the fried egg that came with my avocado toast was a little too runny, but other than that everything was phenomenal. Their service is wonderful. The cashiers and servers are friendly and welcoming. There is plenty of parking in the parking lot right in front and there is both outdoor and indoor seating. The menu had that perfect Southern California vibe with a few dishes that gave subtle Hawaii energy, which immediately pulled me in. I ordered the breakfast fried rice and wow. There are a few tables inside, along with plenty of outdoor seating. Each kid wanted the Cinnamon Toast Crunch Soufflé Pancake, so we ordered three of those. I went with the Avocado Toast with bacon and egg for an additional fee. The pancakes were a huge hit. Each kid cleaned their plate. Honestly, they were even better than my avocado toast, so I was happy knowing everyone left satisfied. Finally I got to try this spot!!! Why it took me so long? Honestly the line is always so long, it was a turn off. I felt like I'd wait forever. But boy was I wrong! Finally tried the famous pancake place!! Their soufflé pancakes are incredibly soft and bouncy--lightly sweet, airy, and they melt right in your mouth. It honestly feels like eating a cloud. Highly recommend if you haven't been yet... who doesn't want to eat clouds? The quesadillas are huge! One of the cheesiest and most flavorful quesadillas I've ever had. There's no way to finish the whole plate in one sitting. We took half home and it was still delicious the next day. The fried potatoes on the side were super crispy and well-seasoned too.
