Very filling burritos here. They do not skimp out on the portions, which I really appreciate

It was our first time trying this restaurant. We had just finished a 12-hour shift and were very hungry. We ordered the pastrami sandwich, a half-pound beef burger, and fries for $8. The pastrami was okay. I asked for my burger to be cooked medium rare, but the patty came out cold. I let the cashier know and asked if that was normal. She said it looked medium rare, but it should still be served at the proper temperature. Unfortunately, I felt sick after eating and ended up throwing up on the way home. We spent almost $50 including tip, and we expected a decent meal and better service.

This place is the definition of a hole in the wall. Would I bring a date here? No. Is this the best breakfast burrito I've eaten? Oh yea. I came here one morning with my college friends. One of their brothers used to be a regular here back when he was in college. The prices really make you see why it's so popular with us broke folk. I bought a burrito for 15 dollars and ate it for two meals. It was enormous. I got it spicy, which had chopped peppers in it. I can handle spice ok, but I can't lie to you, maybe have some water on hand. Overall, fantastic little place to get a bite.

A go to place I go with coworkers, we more than likely share the food because it is a lot, if I don't share, this has me full all day, food never disappoints, service is always pleasant. Location is clean, small, parking can be an issue depending on the time of day

Good spot for breakfast burritos. The online ordering link on their website wasn't working so we had to place an order inside. It was busy but they got the food out pretty quick. Got the burrito with two eggs and hashbrowns. They do the eggs over easy which was a unique touch but if you prefer scrambled you can ask for that instead. The hashbrowns were very crispy which I enjoyed but they were on the greasy side. Overall good burrito. There's a small lot out front which had people going in and out so you should be able to snag a spot but I could see parking being an issue during peak times.

I ordered the egg hash brown breakfast burrito and the bacon breakfast bowl. The eggs were overcooked and the hash browns were the thinly sliced variety, which felt more like a filler than a satisfying component. The food overall leaned on the greasier side. A solid spot if you're hungry.

I have been dreaming of this breakfast burrito for a while now. I had it maybe a year ago but the soft egg(that isn't scrambled) and the unique hash browns stayed with me. I begged my friend to pick one up as I left work early in San Diego to make it to his place in the OC so we could catch a Ducks game(HIGHLY RECOMMEND). The burrito was just as good as last time and maybe even better. I had the pastrami breakfast burrito which is not offered at that many places. My buddy ordered two meats in his burrito and he said it was overwhelming and to just do one meat. Inside is Detroit themed so wear your Lions gear and fill up!

If you didn't know this place was here, you aren't the only one! We got a tip from our friend and tried this place. They have loads of choices. Their burritos are massive. You can make any burrito into a bowl which is what did. The service was quick and the girl at the counter was super friendly. It's more of a takeaway spot but they do have tables inside. It's a quick grab and go spot. The parking can be tough because it's a small center. We were able to snag a spot around 10am pretty easy but the parking is limited. It is a must try spot. I had a chicken burrito bowl and everyone else had a steak burrito. We got 2 burritos for 3 people. The green salsa is a bit spicy and the red has a chipotle flavour with kick.

Everyone has been raving that Nate's has the best breakfast burrito in OC. It's definitely the best for its value, a burrito can be shared between two people because that's how big it is. It was a little difficult to eat with its size and it was very heavy with all the hash browns. It has a good amount of protein, but not that much eggs. The homies can be shared between two people too. They have indoor seating and a small parking lot.

This is my second time here and I can't remember what I got the first time but this time around, I got the steak breakfast burrito $14.99 and Nate's favorite $13.99 (also a breakfast burrito). Total came out to be about $32 for two burritos. Both burritos were good but I think Nate's favorite was a bit too oily for me. Kinda tastes like fajitas. If chicken was also included in the burrito, then that would prob be a the best chicken fajitas burrito. It did start getting spicy towards the end so if you can't handle spice, this isn't for you. The better of the two would be the steak burrito in my opinion. Not sure what kind of steak they use... seems like a knock of steak bc it didn't taste like the normal beef I'd eat. Either way though, the combination was good. Eggs were cooked super yummy. If I were to come back, I'd try to the 2 meats 2 eggs burrito. Also they do not provide any sauces without extra charge. Would be great if you had ketchup on hand. The green salsa is $1. The burritos are big and super filling but I'd only come here once in a while. Parking lot is also super small. Call ahead of time about 10 mins before to put in your order to prevent the wait time.

Easily my favorite breakfast burrito. Anywhere. I have been coming here since 2014 and finally got a chance to take my son here. Absolutely love this place.

Hearty breakfast burrito! They use over easy eggs, so if you don't like the yolk runny, this might not be the breakfast burrito for you. I also think having two meats was a little too much for my liking, but there is an option to just have 1 (or even 3). But overall the burrito was great and definitely worth trying. I also got the green salsa and chipotle sauce on the side, which were nice to have. There are a good amount of tables in the restaurant. Ordering was quick and waited about 15mins for my order. The restaurant is in a small plaza with parking available.

What a great spot! So much seating, which is rare to find for a breakfast spot, such as this. The workers were so nice, greeting you when you walk in. The place was clean and the food came out fresh. I ordered a breakfast burrito two meat/2 eggs for $15. They are HUGE so I was able to share half with my partner and we were both full for a breakfast meal! MY FAVORITE PART WAS THE HASHBROWNS, IT'S GOLDEN AND CRUNCHY UNLIKE ANY HASHBROWNS I'VE HAD IN A BREAKFAST BURRITO. A GREAT SPOT THAT I WILL COME BACK TO!

What time do they stop serving breakfast?

I think they serve breakfast all day - you can always call to double check but I remember getting a breakfast burrito for lunch!

Do you offer breakfast hoagies like the three egg/three meat?

Is their online ordering working yet? Their phone is constantly busy too so are they not taking phone orders as well?

Yeah its a huge pain in the butt trying to call to place my order.. its either busy or just rings and rings.. theyre busy enough where they should have an employee dedicated to taking phone orders $$$

Looks like online ordering isn't available even with an option to on their website. Perhaps there is a new site to order from?

Nope, that's the website. It's even advertised on their menu screens inside the shop. Sucks that it doesn't work.

    Are dogs allowed?

Not inside...but there's a little patio outside that has tables and chairs.

    Open on Christmas Eve?

    Yes

    Do they have vegan scramble?

No, but there is a vegetarian pasta salad, that's about it.

Every time i call the phone doesn't go through. Are they still open?

They're usually very busy during most mornings so when I phone in and their line is busy, I just try again and around the third time it goes through.

It seems like this spot is super popular for brunch drinks. Had the birria taco and this one was probably my favorite of the dishes tha we ordered. The smoked salmon flatbread wasn't as good, it looks very colorful and pretty, but I didnt think the flavors went together very well. I like the smokiness but the salmon wasn't umami enough to justify mixing in caviar and avocado and arugula that would normally pair well with beef. Finally a couple weeks go by and we get there with the line not too busy so we wait for about 20 mins in line with only 5 people ahead of us which I felt was a bit crazy but we're already here. Finally we order and get a breakfast burrito and a torta to eat in totaling out to 35$ just between those two items, but hey if it's good who cares right. We notice that there is no assigned seating and we're told to grab a seat where ever we liked so we go to the only table available inside about 10 mins after sitting and waiting for our food one of the waiters comes up to us and tells us we can't sit at the table because it's meant for a bigger party and that there is a table all the way in the back next to the restrooms that we need to move to because they need to save this table in case a big party comes in. I told her that these were the only seats available when we got here and i'd have no problem moving if a bigger party came through however there wasn't anybody waiting in line or ordering so we were gonna continue to wait here. the waitress proceeded to tell me that she doesn't know how else to say this but we aren't allowed to sit there, and we just exchange awkward silence. she gave up after about a minute of telling us to go to the back of the restaurant. All this could be overlooked if the food was amazing so i was really hoping it would be good and then finally after about 16 mins of waiting and being told to move by staff the food comes out. the waiter drops my plate so that it clatters as it hits the table and the nail in the coffin is that the food was honestly borderline bad, burrito lacked seasoning but was smothered in salsa to attempt to hide its mediocrity, it came with two more salsas on the side and chips but the chips were cold and stale unsure if they just gave me old chips because they were upset with me not moving to the back for them or if their chips are always that stale and unsalted. won't be making a return save urself the money and go try any other Mexican place their food will be better and cheaper.

I came in with friends and ordered a pitcher along with several shots. The server, a young white male, brought the shots and only one cup of beer. I immediately told him I had ordered a pitcher, but he insisted I never said that -- even though I had already been charged. To avoid arguing, I told him to just bring a pitcher and charge me again respectfully. He refused and told me I would have to go back and wait in line if I wanted one. When I asked to speak with a manager, he said the manager was unavailable. We later noticed him walking around the patio taking pitcher requests from other customers and bringing them directly to their tables without sending them back in line. We politely asked again, and he said "okay," but repeatedly ignored us, walking past our table multiple times. When my friend followed up, he suddenly claimed he couldn't serve us and again told us to get back in line. There was no clear reason for the difference in treatment. Watching others get served while we were repeatedly refused, despite being respectful customers, made the situation feel discriminatory. As Latino customers in a predominantly Latino community, the behavior came across as biased and unacceptable. It's extremely disappointing because I've supported this place for nearly a decade and had never experienced anything like this before. Unfortunately, this interaction completely changed my view of this establishment. I would not recommend coming here if respectful and fair service matters to you.

The menu looked incredibly tempting, and the vibe was giving Long Beach hipster... in the best way. I was immediately into it. Before we even get to the food, let's talk about the drinks because they completely stole the show. The Berry Bloom Shrub Soda was bright, refreshing, and unlike anything I'd had before. The Horchata Signature Kyoto Iced Latte was absolutely phenomenal. If you've never had Kyoto-style coffee, it's a slow-drip cold brew that's brewed one drop at a time over many hours instead of being steeped all at once. The result is an incredibly smooth, naturally sweet coffee with almost no bitterness. Combined with their house-made horchata, it was easily one of the best coffee drinks I've had. I later grabbed a Black Strap Molasses Latte to go, and that was just as impressive. For brunch we ordered the Steak & Eggs, French Omelette, and Hokkaido Milk Bread French Toast. Every plate that came out looked like it belonged in a magazine. The Steak & Eggs was ok. Since it's flank steak, a couple of bites had some inedible gristle, but the chimichurri was bright and flavorful, and I'm so glad I substituted the crispy house potatoes over fries... they were great and fried to perfection. The French Omelette was good. I was excited for the caviar, but the flavor was mostly overshadowed by the aged cheddar. The real surprise was the toast points. They were unbelievable!! Somehow like the buttery layers of a croissant transformed into perfectly toasted bread. I could've eaten an entire basket of those alone. The Hokkaido Milk Bread French Toast was delicious as well. It leaned a little sweeter than I personally prefer, but the milk bread gave it an incredibly soft, rich texture that made it hard to stop eating. The staff was exceptional. I can stress enough how grateful I was for friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful staff throughout our meal. My only disappointment came after I got home. I impulse-purchased a jar of their orange marmalade because I couldn't wait to spread it on a warm croissant. Unfortunately, the lid was covered in rust, and the jar wasn't sealed. I'm not familiar with the canning process or safety requirements, so I wasn't comfortable taking the risk and ended up throwing it away. That was a real letdown. Even with that hiccup, I'd come back to try some other items on the menu. The Kyoto-style lattes and Berry Bloom Shrub Soda alone are worth the trip, and next time I'll probably explore more of the menu. Spending over $100 for brunch set my expectations pretty high, but the drinks, atmosphere, and service definitely made this a memorable stop. If anything, I'd just skip the packaged marmalade next time and head straight for another Kyoto latte.
