Great customer service; Nate's Hasn't disappointed with their food, Cool chill location, I am a satisfied customer when I receive my order exactly the way I specified.
Very filling burritos here. They do not skimp out on the portions, which I really appreciate
It was our first time trying this restaurant. We had just finished a 12-hour shift and were very hungry. We ordered the pastrami sandwich, a half-pound beef burger, and fries for $8. The pastrami was okay. I asked for my burger to be cooked medium rare, but the patty came out cold. I let the cashier know and asked if that was normal. She said it looked medium rare, but it should still be served at the proper temperature. Unfortunately, I felt sick after eating and ended up throwing up on the way home. We spent almost $50 including tip, and we expected a decent meal and better service.
The burrito itself is pretty big so you're definitely getting the value for the money. The burrito itself however was just too greasy and was more egg heavy. It had grease just dripping down as I tried to eat it. The employees were kind and the place is pretty casual.
This place is the definition of a hole in the wall. Would I bring a date here? No. Is this the best breakfast burrito I've eaten? Oh yea. I came here one morning with my college friends. One of their brothers used to be a regular here back when he was in college. The prices really make you see why it's so popular with us broke folk. I bought a burrito for 15 dollars and ate it for two meals. It was enormous. I got it spicy, which had chopped peppers in it. I can handle spice ok, but I can't lie to you, maybe have some water on hand. Overall, fantastic little place to get a bite.
First time trying this breakfast burrito. I got the two meat burrito with sausage and bacon. I thought the hash browns were fantastic. It is a very large burrito and was stuffed to capacity. I see why there was so much hype about this burrito. Definitely a top five for me
Good spot for breakfast burritos. The online ordering link on their website wasn't working so we had to place an order inside. It was busy but they got the food out pretty quick. Got the burrito with two eggs and hashbrowns. They do the eggs over easy which was a unique touch but if you prefer scrambled you can ask for that instead. The hashbrowns were very crispy which I enjoyed but they were on the greasy side. Overall good burrito. There's a small lot out front which had people going in and out so you should be able to snag a spot but I could see parking being an issue during peak times.
This is my second time here and I can't remember what I got the first time but this time around, I got the steak breakfast burrito $14.99 and Nate's favorite $13.99 (also a breakfast burrito). Total came out to be about $32 for two burritos. Both burritos were good but I think Nate's favorite was a bit too oily for me. Kinda tastes like fajitas. If chicken was also included in the burrito, then that would prob be a the best chicken fajitas burrito. It did start getting spicy towards the end so if you can't handle spice, this isn't for you. The better of the two would be the steak burrito in my opinion. Not sure what kind of steak they use... seems like a knock of steak bc it didn't taste like the normal beef I'd eat. Either way though, the combination was good. Eggs were cooked super yummy. If I were to come back, I'd try to the 2 meats 2 eggs burrito. Also they do not provide any sauces without extra charge. Would be great if you had ketchup on hand. The green salsa is $1. The burritos are big and super filling but I'd only come here once in a while. Parking lot is also super small. Call ahead of time about 10 mins before to put in your order to prevent the wait time.
Hearty breakfast burrito! They use over easy eggs, so if you don't like the yolk runny, this might not be the breakfast burrito for you. I also think having two meats was a little too much for my liking, but there is an option to just have 1 (or even 3). But overall the burrito was great and definitely worth trying. I also got the green salsa and chipotle sauce on the side, which were nice to have. There are a good amount of tables in the restaurant. Ordering was quick and waited about 15mins for my order. The restaurant is in a small plaza with parking available.
What a great spot! So much seating, which is rare to find for a breakfast spot, such as this. The workers were so nice, greeting you when you walk in. The place was clean and the food came out fresh. I ordered a breakfast burrito two meat/2 eggs for $15. They are HUGE so I was able to share half with my partner and we were both full for a breakfast meal! MY FAVORITE PART WAS THE HASHBROWNS, IT'S GOLDEN AND CRUNCHY UNLIKE ANY HASHBROWNS I'VE HAD IN A BREAKFAST BURRITO. A GREAT SPOT THAT I WILL COME BACK TO!
I ordered the egg hash brown breakfast burrito and the bacon breakfast bowl. The eggs were overcooked and the hash browns were the thinly sliced variety, which felt more like a filler than a satisfying component. The food overall leaned on the greasier side. A solid spot if you're hungry.
I have been dreaming of this breakfast burrito for a while now. I had it maybe a year ago but the soft egg(that isn't scrambled) and the unique hash browns stayed with me. I begged my friend to pick one up as I left work early in San Diego to make it to his place in the OC so we could catch a Ducks game(HIGHLY RECOMMEND). The burrito was just as good as last time and maybe even better. I had the pastrami breakfast burrito which is not offered at that many places. My buddy ordered two meats in his burrito and he said it was overwhelming and to just do one meat. Inside is Detroit themed so wear your Lions gear and fill up!
YUMMY Breakfast Burrito. Luckily I shared it with my friend cause they do not skimp on the filling. Can really make you feel heavy The crispy hash browns were such a nice touch. Can come with a side of green salsa which I recommend! Just order up front and choose your own seat. A lot of people inside and hole in the wall vibes.
I was craving some breakfast burritos and I saw that this place specializes in breakfast burritos so I gave it a try. Read some of the reviews sp I decided to order the chicken breakfast burrito with an order of Chipotle sauce. The place was like a Cafe style restaurant where you order and pay and they make your food for you. The burrito was humongous! And it was delicious. The hash browns were crispy and the burrito was extremely flavorful. I can see why there were so many people coming in and out of the place. The Chipotle sauce is a must. If you are in the are give this place a try! read more
A breakfast burrito that hits different. Arrived and stayed to eat inside, there was a steady stream of customers throughout my 20 minute visit. Service was friendly and quick because they had two cashiers. The size and value of this breakfast burrito is excellent. I enjoyed the crispy hash brown used and the egg wasn't overcooked like most competitors. If I lived nearby I would visit weekly. I will return. read more

If you didn't know this place was here, you aren't the only one! We got a tip from our friend and tried this place. They have loads of choices. Their burritos are massive. You can make any burrito into a bowl which is what did. The service was quick and the girl at the counter was super friendly. It's more of a takeaway spot but they do have tables inside. It's a quick grab and go spot. The parking can be tough because it's a small center. We were able to snag a spot around 10am pretty easy but the parking is limited. It is a must try spot. I had a chicken burrito bowl and everyone else had a steak burrito. We got 2 burritos for 3 people. The green salsa is a bit spicy and the red has a chipotle flavour with kick. read more
So many good options! I got the Reuben sandwich and it was very tasty. I'm not sure if I've ever had a Reuben with mustard but I wasn't a big fan of how much mustard it had. Nonetheless this place was amazing and I would definitely come here again if I'm ever in the area. Check them out! Lots of tables and service was top notch. read more

Everyone has been raving that Nate's has the best breakfast burrito in OC. It's definitely the best for its value, a burrito can be shared between two people because that's how big it is. It was a little difficult to eat with its size and it was very heavy with all the hash browns. It has a good amount of protein, but not that much eggs. The homies can be shared between two people too. They have indoor seating and a small parking lot. read more
Nate's Korner is an unassuming place. Great spot to pick up a breakfast burrito. If you're hungry and in the mood for breakfast, that is the way to go. The parking lot is small, but there is usually parking available. My go-to is the Nate's Favorite (no spice). It's a vegetarian burrito stuffed with hash browns, eggs, black beans, grilled onions, and avocado. It is HUGE, tasty, and such a good deal. I haven't been here for a while and the burrito used to be around $8. Now it's about $13, but it is more than enough to fill you up! You can even share the burrito, but it is so good you'll want your own. Yum! I have also tried their French fries and they give you a huge bag probably about 1.5 lbs worth, and they're OK. Get your fries somewhere else though. I want to try their steak burrito next time. Customer service is always efficient and the orders come out quickly... although you may need to order ahead if you're coming there for lunch as they get pretty crowded. Happy eating! read more
I had heard that Nate's Korner was the place for breakfast burritos in OC. My mistake was trying to be a little healthy and ordering Nate's Favorite ($13.99) - egg whites, beans, grilled veggies, hash browns, avocado, Serrano peppers, salsa and Tapatio in a whole wheat burrito. On the positive side, it wasn't the belly bomb that breakfast burritos usually are and it was pretty light on the hash browns. The burrito is large and half is all I needed. On the downside, the veggies were pretty greasy and there was a piece of plastic in my burrito (which made my review go down to three stars). Next time I'll go for a regular breakfast burrito with meat (whole wheat tortillas are not my fave) to see if it lives up to the hype! read more
This place definitely makes my top 3 of breakfast burrito spots. We got the three meat burrito and it was delicious. The texture of it is unlike any other breakfast burrito I've had due to the crunchy hash browns. I read reviews after that mentioned the chorizo breakfast burrito and how good it is after I already ordered. I wished I had gotten it since I love chorizo but the three meat burrito still was phenomenal. We got a side of their greeb salsa that complimented the burrito great. We will definitely be back to try the chorizo and the steak breakfast burritos! read more
Best breakfast burritos around for miles. Hole in the wall place with yellow paint and red floor. Steady stream of traffic. Potato hash browns in the burrito is super crispy. We tried Nate's favorite and it normally has egg whites but we splurged with over easy whole eggs. Kids tried the steak and egg burrito. Each burrito feeds two people. read more

*** Cashless establishment *** Nate's Korner is a long time establishment (since 1975) that specializes in breakfast burritos. The shop used to be a part of the convenience store called Qwik Korner and Nate's Korner replaced Qwik Korner entirely with a new storefront sign in 2016. This spot is considered one of the "holy trinity" when it comes to popular breakfast burritos in Orange County (the other two are Athenian #3 in Buena Park and Nick's Deli in Los Alamitos / Seal Beach.) [Parking]: The shop shared a private parking lot with 7-Eleven. Easy parking when I came here early on weekdays. [Ordering]: My first visit wasn't a successful one as the shop had an issue with the payment system and wouldn't accept cash period. I ultimately visited another breakfast spot and had to come back another day. The shop opens pretty early at 6 AM. [Menu]: The signature breakfast steak burrito comes in regular or spicy. They also serve other items like wraps, hot.cold sandwiches, homemade chili, hoagies, salads, and burgers. *** Breakfast Steak Burrito (Two Eggs, Hashbrowns, White American Cheese, Salsa - sunny side up, $14.99): It was a huge burrito and I can see why the website describes their burritos as "liquid gold". I never had a burrito with sunny side up eggs and runny egg yolk just oozed out of the burrito after my 1st bite. Hash browns gave an extra crunchy and overall it was a great breakfast burrito despite not having a complimentary salsa on the side (extra $1 for red or green salsa). *** I can see the appeal as it was a very good breakfast burrito. I can totally see myself re-visiting this spot again and a solid 4.5-star on breakfast burritos, but this spot doesn't have the best ambiance. read more

1/5 Stars I visited Nate's Korner hoping for a great breakfast based on their high ratings, but my family and I left incredibly disappointed. Before we even walked through the doors, there was a strong, unpleasant smell of sewage outside. It certainly isn't the establishment's fault if it's a city issue, but it definitely ruined the appetite right off the bat. Still, we went in and placed our order: a breakfast platter (two eggs, bacon, and hashbrowns) for my wife, and what was listed as their premium, most expensive item--the Steak Burrito--for myself. Our total came out to over $46. The primary issue was the gross misrepresentation of the food. As I was eating the "steak" burrito, I realized there was absolutely no steak in it; it was just a pile of cheap ground beef. When I brought this up to the lady at the counter, she flatly replied, "Yeah, that's our steak burrito." If a restaurant is going to charge a premium price for a steak item, it should actually contain steak, not ground meat. That is incredibly misleading to customers. Furthermore, the construction and quality of the burrito were terrible. It was overwhelmingly stuffed with hashbrowns and severely lacked any sauce or fresh ingredients like pico de gallo to balance it out. The filling was so incredibly dry that I actually choked on my first bite and had to quickly chug my hot black coffee just to get it down, burning my mouth in the process. Ironically, despite being completely dry on the inside, it somehow managed to remain a greasy, soggy mess overall. In the end, we threw most of the food away. I had cut the burrito in half to share with my son, but it was inedible. The only thing he ended up eating was a few slices of bacon from my wife's plate. We essentially paid $46 for a few pieces of bacon. I honestly do not understand how this establishment maintains a 4-star rating. I am writing this to warn others: expect cheap ingredients, dry yet greasy food, and misleading menu descriptions. Save your time and your money. read more

Best breakfast burrito? Nah. It was good though. Wouldn't go out of my way to get it. Guy at the register recommended steak burrito and I thought it was good. Appreciate the texture of the crispy potatoes. Would try sausage next time. It's a crime to charge for sauce though read more

I reached out on social media about an issue I had but didn't get a response so obviously they don't really care about their customers. Don't believe the hype that their three meat breakfast burrito weighs two pounds which they weighed for a reviewer. Got mine home and it weighed less than a pound and a half. I would normally leave a review of the food but I'm too steamed to do that at this time. Shame. read more

What time do they stop serving breakfast?
I think they serve breakfast all day - you can always call to double check but I remember getting a breakfast burrito for lunch!
Do you offer breakfast hoagies like the three egg/three meat?
Is their online ordering working yet? Their phone is constantly busy too so are they not taking phone orders as well?
Yeah its a huge pain in the butt trying to call to place my order.. its either busy or just rings and rings.. theyre busy enough where they should have an employee dedicated to taking phone orders $$$
Looks like online ordering isn't available even with an option to on their website. Perhaps there is a new site to order from?
Nope, that's the website. It's even advertised on their menu screens inside the shop. Sucks that it doesn't work.
Are dogs allowed?
Not inside...but there's a little patio outside that has tables and chairs.
Do they have vegan scramble?
No, but there is a vegetarian pasta salad, that's about it.
Every time i call the phone doesn't go through. Are they still open?
They're usually very busy during most mornings so when I phone in and their line is busy, I just try again and around the third time it goes through.
