There's a lot of intention put into the decor at Maz. Cute chairs, cute lights. The service was stellar - think that was the best part of my experience there. I prefer a more flavorful matcha powder, but the drink satisfied my cravings that morning. Thanks, Maz!

This has became one of my favorite coffee shops to go to! I definitely recommend the Nacho Libre if you want a good boost of caffeine! The place is very nice and cute, definitely a good place to study!

A lovely coffee shop with such cute interior! You place orders yourself onto the screen upon arrival which has a variety of drinks to choose from. I tried the Horchata Latte which was a little too sweet for my liking but it was good! I think you can adjust the sweetness upon ordering. There is an array of Taurani syrups which they use for their drinks. It wasn't busy at all when I went which allowed me to get in some work done. There are a few outlets available and wifi is available to guests. Restroom is also available and it is super clean! Parking was easy for me since it was slow. There were signs of 2 hour parking limit outside of the structure but Im sure if you can find street parking you can stay for longer.

Decided to stop by on my way to work. I was actually pretty surprised that there weren't a lot of people. The place is super inviting and spacious. The barista that helped me was so sweet and I decided to take her recommendation. Definitely gonna come back to check out all the other lattes that they have on the menu!

I've had this coffee before but it was my first time visiting their storefront. This coffee shop is so spacious and beautifully decorated! There is a self ordering kiosk which was really easy to navigate. I ordered the maz latte which is mazapan. It is always so delicious! There is only street parking but the shop is not located on a main street so it isn't too bad.

Love this spot! Perfect to have coffee and hang. Located in Santa Ana this coffee spot has some fun drinks! I got the mazapan latte and really loved it! They also have a lot of insta worthy props for you to take pics, while there, the service was great and will for sure come again soon!

What a gem This cafe has been on my list for so long and so finally I made the decision to add it in my day. You just gotta do that sometimes in life! Make time for the things you want! So glad I got to go during a time that I had the cafe to myself I got to take it all in and enjoy Reese and my latte Not only is it super comfy and their barista Beverly was super sweet and so nice to talk to but their famous MAZ latte was magic in my mouth. Ambiance is magical! Definitely a place you can get comfy!

Stopped by to the coffee shop after an early game for some cafe de olla. The place is cute and welcoming. There were kids hanging out but I assume it's the owners kids since they kept to themselves and were very quiet. Also, noticed it's a great place for students since there was one person studying. It was not busy but they do take some time to make the drinks. We waited maybe 10mins? And it was just two drinks and no lines nor other people waiting. Doesn't seem busy but then again it was on a Sunday at around 9/10am ? The service was great. They were sweet and helpful ladies. They drinks were good just as described on the menu. You can self order or they help you to order on a screen. Overall, I would go back it's a great place and I noticed that they also rent out the place for private events.

Abuelita Latte

Looking for hispanic-inspired drinks? Well then this is the spot to try! Abuelita Latte: I wanted to try something new and was told this drink was one of the three top sellers. It's an iced mocha latte combined with cinnamon. As someone who enjoys sweet coffee I didn't make any adjustments and thought it was perfect. The mocha was rich and there was a good amount of cinnamon without it feeling overpowering. The smallest size came out to $6.42 which I thought was slightly on the pricier side. The service was top notch! The two ladies working were welcoming and since it was my first time there they gave me a run down of the menu! My drink was delivered to me while I was studying at one of the tables. For ordering, they can either take your order or there is a self serve kiosk. My drink came out fairly fast! There is plenty of seating, free password protected wifi, and the ac was blasting (bring a jacket if you get cold easily). There is a parking structure but street parking was easier. Come support this family's cafe if you're looking for decent drinks and open tables to study! Cheers!

This place is so cute and the atmosphere is great with friendly staff. The coffee however, was extremely sweet. I got the horchata latte iced and I even let the ice melt and it was still too sweet :( I really want to like this place so I might give it another chance and try something different next time. For now, I am staying away from the horchata latte and making sure I order with less sugar next time.

This is an updated review. Although I'm in "original customer" I'm kind of a bad customer, too, because it's been a while since I've been in. I'm disappointed to hear the original owner has now moved on, but it looks like the current owners have done a great job keeping up the wonderful, friendly and welcoming atmosphere and the great, unique and delicious coffee drinks. Looking forward to being here more often.

Galleta María Latte
Aransazu C.

The latte was too milky for me and very sweet. The idea of adding galleta maria is unique but it just tasted like grainy milk. The mazapán latte was better though !

Ask the Community - Maz Café

Can the hot coffee beverages also be served in ceramic cups, if we dine in?

Do you have any decaf option for coffee?

Yes! We can make any of the lattes decaf and if you want an iced coffee/house blend, we also can make a decaf americano as an alternative.

But after trying Oliboli I have to ask myself why doesn't everybody do this? This is ingenious. If you wondered why Krispy Kreme was so popular when the "hot donuts" sign is on - this is donuts taken to another level. FOOD: Donuts are terrific. Even cooled down they still are tasty but definitely go down a level. Had the chocolate which is very dark chocolate like instead of a milk chocolate so if you don't like a more bitter chocolate then maybe go a different direction. Also had the dutch apple pie and that was AMAZING! So many of them look good. They rotate flavors so you won't see the same ones every time. SERVICE: Really nice. Very helpful and patient and they get the donuts out pretty quickly. Everyone there had smiles on their faces and sure it costs a bit more but the portion size is huge. One donut will do ya! COST: Again more than your average donut place but you certainly get your money's worth! Would highly recommend.

Been here one or two times before and decided to finally write a review this time!…read more Parking looks hard to find initially but the parking lot actually wraps around the buildings all the way to the back so there are plenty of spots. When you enter, they have a display case that shows what each donut they offer looks like. You order and pay at the counter, give them your name, and find a seat while you wait for them to call out your name. There's always a little bit of a wait for your donuts because they fry them all fresh! The dough they use is also similar to a sourdough, so the taste and texture is so unique. They have their standard/permanent flavors as well as seasonal/rotating ones. My friends and I shared the Banoffee ($7.95), Pumpkin Pie ($8.95), Pumpkin Glazed ($5.75), and Bumbleberry Glazed ($5.50). Each donut is hefty so sharing is the way to go. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who hasn't tried them before. You won't be disappointed!
