    Carne Asada Fries
    Brian D.

The place is tucked away in the back of a shopping center behind a gas station and other restaurants. There's plenty of parking and the atmosphere is nice. You have to wait to be seated, but my group was seated almost immediately. Our food order was taken quickly and the food came out pretty fast. The server was also checking in regularly and was on top of getting us refills. As for the food, I ordered the pastrami and egg sandwich. I asked if it came with fries and the server said it is a pretty big portion and you probably wouldn't want a side. He also mentioned that it has hashbrowns in it. And he was right, the portion was large and I was full from just the sandwich. Everyone else in my group complimented the food. I had originally planned to go to a different restaurant at that freeway exit, but found it had shut down a couple weeks prior, so finding this place was a welcome surprise.

My son said these are the best grits he has ever had. I tated his dish and would 100% agree. He had the shrimp and grits. Creamy, perfectly cooked and the andouille sausage gives the perfect amount of heat. My nephew had the fried chicken sandwich with carne asada fries. He said that he felt the chicken was overly seasoned and I would agree with that as well. The chicken is moist and the fries were yummy. I had the banana pancakes. They were ok. I would have liked more bananas. Our drinks were also delicious. Homemade horchata and a mocha latte. I'd come back again and again for those shrimp and grits!!!

We arrived and it was busy inside so we decided to sit outside since it was a beautiful day. Very friendly staff sat us and we had a man as our waiter, I think the manager. He was very fast, helpful, and kind. It was our first time there so he reassured us that the food we ordered were some of the best choices. AND WE AGREE. we ordered the loaded hashbrown and the chicken and waffles. The blackberry butter and blackberry compote that came with the chicken and waffles was the perfect amount of sweetness. The waffle was cooked perfectly and very fluffy. The chicken was super crispy and juicy. The loaded hashbrown had scrambled eggs, bacon, a tasty aioli, and cheese. Full of great flavor and extremely filling. My husband ordered their homemade horchata and it was sooo good! We will be come back to try more!

We came here cuz I was looking for a brunch place in the area. I was like a placed called the pan being a brunch place seems quite interesting. The inside was so nicely decorated. An's had plenty of seating!! Was pretty clean and it was busy. But then again it was around 2 pm and they close at 4 so maybe they are busier in the am. Omg the shrimp and gritz was amazing. I didn't even know what grtiz was but it was fireeeee. The guy recommend and I thank him for it. It was quite filling and might be a shareable tbh. But it's worth the try. I do wanna try their food ther Benedict stuff and I will def come again!!!

This is a cozy breakfast and lunch spot in a mini strip mall. The food is very good and the menu is extensive with breakfast and lunch served all day. Like a lot of popular places there is usually a wait on weekends. Our party of 6 waited 35 minutes to be seated. The manager checked on us and kept us apprised of the wait. Service had some hiccups maybe based on how busy they were. While our drink orders were taken right away, it was quite a while to get coffee and water. Most of our orders included toast. We were asked what kind of toast we wanted but toast never appeared. A server came out with some of our food but had no idea what the items she was delivering were. The manager did compensate us with a discount. Being retired I think I'll go midweek next time. There's a lot of menu items I want to try.

The moment I walked in, I got great fun friendly vibes. I was greeted and I had picked up my order. It was my first visit here to redeem my bday reward but I decided to dine in bc the place was so welcoming and the music playing was my jam. I had ordered Chili Cheese Fries bc I love trying different places versions of CCF. I modified it by requesting regular onions on it too. It has pinto chili beans with some bell peppers, chili aoili sauce and topped with green onions. It definitely was a kick of flavor when you add the aioli to it. Overall, the flavors all blended together well and I would come back and order this again. The man who helped me, was super kind. It was so sweet of him to surprise me with their specialty guava pancake. He had put a little bday candle on the pancake. Thats just the sweetest thing ever and a great surprise indeed! I ate the entire guava pancake and it was delicious. It was not a strong guava taste, it was mild and it was not overly sweet. It was absolutely perfect!!! The Pan definitely brought great vibes, energy and I'm amazed how generous and warming the experience was here! I will be back to try more things off their menu.

We came around 11 am on a Monday and it wasn't too busy and we got seated instantly. We were also well taken care of by our server. I wish I got her name because she was super kind and attentive. The food was also so good. The cinnamon roll pancakes was amazing. I love that the pancakes were not too thick nor thin and it wasn't overly sweet. I would definitely come back for lunch, they have a good variety of menu options.

I've been coming here a dozen times now, and this place never disappoints. This steak and eggs plate was another home run: perfectly seared ribeye cooked exactly right, fried eggs done well, and breakfast potatoes with a great mix of peppers and onions for extra flavor. Consistent quality is hard to find, and The Pan delivers every time. Food, service, and ambiance are always on point. Highly recommend.

Okay, we don't know how we missed this hidden gem since it's been here for a year and a half. This cafe has plenty of seats, both indoors and on a small patio, so don't expect a wait. The ambiance is a bit eclectic, old school diner mixed with street art, while late 80s early 90s hip hop and R&B rounds out the background, not too loud, but if you listen closely, you'll be grooving in your seat. Now on to the service. It was great. We were greeted right away and never had to worry about coffee refills or genuine smiles from the staff. The menu is broad with a huge mix of sweet and savory items. We split up the Nutella-strawberry French toast, a chorizo burrito, and an LV something (half-eaten photo attached). All were delicious and had to be shared amongst the family to try the various flavors. It perfectly hit the spot, and with so many choices, we'll be sure to visit again to go through the menu. I know I'll be ordering the burrito to go if I have a commute to LA and need something handheld. One of our few weekend must-eat breakfast/brunch spots.

The food was amazing and the service was great! Had a bad experience at the Long Beach location with service but this location redeemed their name. Looking forward to going back and trying different dishes. Found our new go to spot. We tried the nawlins banana foster French toast and loaded hashbrowns. I was having tingles, it tasted so good.

We decided to stop by for some brunch this morning. This place is located inside a plaza with a lot of parking spots. Decoration was very cute, especially the headboard on the wall. Staff was friendly, and we were seated promptly. We ordered Banana walnut pancake, Chorizo scramble, and a Coffee. Services were fast. Our server checked on us to see if we need our coffee to be refilled. The chorizo scramble was delicious, but nothing stands out compare to other places. The pancake was a bit dry. Pretty good brunch overall.

First time eating here for breakfast. Loved the food! Ordered crab cake Benedict abd Kielbasa with eggs and potatoes. Botth dishes were delicious. Also Loved the music they were playing. Manager was very nice. Restaurant is not too big but has some seating outside. Will definitely be returning to try other dishes and lunch.

No. No meant no table. She told me it would be a couple hour wait when I could see there were tables available. I made a reservation this Sunday. Unfortunately, buffet brunch only. I could see the chafing dishes from outside, but decided to dine here anyway. There was a family sitting outside on the patio, but since it was warm outside, when the hostess asked inside or outside, I said inside. The waitress told me about the $59/person Sunday brunch. No espresso drinks, but it includes bottomless mimosas. Champaign with orange, pineapple, cranberry juice, or all three. Yes, all three please. Eggs are custom made orders by request. The brunch buffet had great options. It included, pancakes, waffles, French toast, crepes, pasta, potatoes, cod, chicken, meats, salads, pizza, fruit, yogurt, various breads, crème brûlée, and mini chocolates. My mimosa was perfect, since I poured my side juices in myself. The food all tasted great. My complaint is the eggs. I ordered two fried eggs. I had to remind her of the order because I believe the kitchen forgot my eggs. She made an excuse that they were busy. I don't think so, since I could see the three of them from my table. When I received them, they were hot and fresh, but the worst fried egg I've ever had. Ugly and runny. A fried egg should be the easiest thing to prepare. Disappointing. The entire time I was here, there were at most five parties. One was a large group celebrating a birthday. Not crowded on Sundays. No reservation required. I only had two separate plates of food and a plate of desserts. Unless you eat or drink a lot, the price of the buffet brunch is not worth it. In summary, service was good. My champagne glass was never empty. Excluding the eggs, all the food tasted great. I like the overall look of the restaurant. The Sunday buffet brunch is not my first choice.

The bread was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and the ham butter imparted so much flavor. My favorite item that we ordered was the Galician Octopus. The thin slices were perfectly executed and the flavors underneath packed a punch. I would pass on the Gambas al Ajillo. While the shrimp were large, I found myself wishing that they had some char. The Summer Squash Salad was a perfect complement to the other dishes. I found the squash ribbons to be unique, the dressing to be light and fresh, and the inclusion of small bits of cheese to impart just the right amount of saltiness to the dish. And I'm glad I did. In the daytime, the patio area is gorgeous--you can really appreciate the firepit seating and the little lake with koi fish outside. Such a relaxing vibe. We came by around 4PM to pregame before Disney and the bar was pretty busy. Huge shoutout to Arvey, the bartender who took care of us during our visit. Not only was the service exceptional, but he genuinely made some of the best cocktails we've had in a while. Sitting at the bar and watching him make the drinks was honestly part of the experience itself. At first we were trying to customize and tweak our drinks because we usually stay in our comfort zone, but after talking with him and learning more about the ingredients in The Peel's specialty cocktails, we decided to trust the process a little more. The Peel has the makings of a great time, it just falls short. As for my meal, I'd recommend the LINGUINI POMODORO which comes with burrata cheese, marcona almond, and basil pesto. I added grilled chicken for an extra $14. Just the plate, cost $25. Add chicken and it's $39. Again, ingredients are fresh. However, I wouldn't recommend coming here unless you're out of options. You'll get a good meal at least.
