Visited here on a Saturday for brunch. The food was excellent! I got the short rib benedict - I've tried benedicts all over but this was easily one of the best. Eggs and short rib was cooked perfectly, and I liked that they were served on top of pancakes. We also got the country benedict again, really good. They also have a secret menu, and they had a lemon smoothie. It was like a frozen lemonade. Very tart and refreshing! The vibes were great here - great for brunch!
We came here cuz I was looking for a brunch place in the area. I was like a placed called the pan being a brunch place seems quite interesting. The inside was so nicely decorated. An's had plenty of seating!! Was pretty clean and it was busy. But then again it was around 2 pm and they close at 4 so maybe they are busier in the am. Omg the shrimp and gritz was amazing. I didn't even know what grtiz was but it was fireeeee. The guy recommend and I thank him for it. It was quite filling and might be a shareable tbh. But it's worth the try. I do wanna try their food ther Benedict stuff and I will def come again!!!
This is a cozy breakfast and lunch spot in a mini strip mall. The food is very good and the menu is extensive with breakfast and lunch served all day. Like a lot of popular places there is usually a wait on weekends. Our party of 6 waited 35 minutes to be seated. The manager checked on us and kept us apprised of the wait. Service had some hiccups maybe based on how busy they were. While our drink orders were taken right away, it was quite a while to get coffee and water. Most of our orders included toast. We were asked what kind of toast we wanted but toast never appeared. A server came out with some of our food but had no idea what the items she was delivering were. The manager did compensate us with a discount. Being retired I think I'll go midweek next time. There's a lot of menu items I want to try.

Overall, the flavors all blended together well and I would come back and order this again. The man who helped me, was super kind. It was so sweet of him to surprise me with their specialty guava pancake. He had put a little bday candle on the pancake. Thats just the sweetest thing ever and a great surprise indeed! I ate the entire guava pancake and it was delicious. It was not a strong guava taste, it was mild and it was not overly sweet. It was absolutely perfect!!! The Pan definitely brought great vibes, energy and I'm amazed how generous and warming the experience was here! I will be back to try more things off their menu.

Sunday morning rush! Found this place on a whim, thankfully! The place was packed inside and had patrons on the available tables outside. A packed house is typically a sign that the food is on point. We were greeted at the door by a smiling server. A table had just opened up and we were seated shortly after arriving. Our server Andrea was personable, professional and delivered excellent service! We ordered: a wet chile verde burrito, a lil fella plate for my grandson, and the French Toast plate with a side of house potatoes. Oh Myyy!! The French toast absolutely delectable! Flavor was a sweet buttery vanilla and the edges were a bit crispy with softness. Definitely a good choice. The burrito was excellent according to my husband. Not too spicy and very flavorful. The cold brew coffee was smooth. The music playing was a nice touch to the ambiance. We will definitely be back to try other items! Overall great experience.

Staff was friendly, and we were seated promptly. We ordered Banana walnut pancake, Chorizo scramble, and a Coffee. Services were fast. Our server checked on us to see if we need our coffee to be refilled. The chorizo scramble was delicious, but nothing stands out compare to other places. The pancake was a bit dry. Pretty good brunch overall.
Ordered through Postmates and let me say everything was delicious! I ordered kids grilled cheese and it was delicious I added the bacon from my breakfast and my son loved it. Let me tell you the Charlie brownie pancakes are amazing. Not overly sweet they're just perfect. I did pay for pico and salsa but it was good it didn't disappoint. Usually ordering though a delivery service is a hit or miss but honestly hands down eveything was soo good. Will definitely have to dine in next time.
The pizza was OK. I like that it was made with multi-layers of toppings. It looked plain at first when they brought it out but there's more toppings when you bite into it. But the dough tasted like it wasn't baked all the way through. It didn't have the crispness like I'm used to. And the pizza itself isn't thin crust like our waiter said. Maybe next time I'll try their actual breakfast options. This isn't a place for pizza, at least not for me.

This place was absolutely amazing. First Impressions: Walking in, the vibe is nice, pleasant music great interior and comfortable seating. The service was top notch. They were very attentive, also patient when we needed time deciding between all the interesting menu items. As we were deciding our server made sure we didn't have any allergies which was very thoughtful. The Food: We decided to order the Short Rib Benedict, the Chicken & Waffles, and the Pancake Flight. I'll start with the Benedict-- best Benedict I've ever had. Poblano cream sauce was legendary, Barbados was perfect and the corn cakes on the bottom were great texture and flavor. The chicken and waffles was also very good. Perfectly fried and crispy, served with a blackberry butter that was unique and delicious. For the pancake flight we could choose three different flavors so we got the Lemon Dream, Tiramisu, and Cinnamon Roll Pancakes. All were fantastic, if you are a lemon dessert fan you will love the Lemon Dream Pancakes. Everything about our experience was so great. The food, the calm atmosphere and the amazing service. We arrived and it was busy inside so we decided to sit outside since it was a beautiful day. Very friendly staff sat us and we had a man as our waiter, I think the manager. He was very fast, helpful, and kind. It was our first time there so he reassured us that the food we ordered were some of the best choices. AND WE AGREE. we ordered the loaded hashbrown and the chicken and waffles. The blackberry butter and blackberry compote that came with the chicken and waffles was the perfect amount of sweetness. The waffle was cooked perfectly and very fluffy. The chicken was super crispy and juicy. The loaded hashbrown had scrambled eggs, bacon, a tasty aioli, and cheese. Full of great flavor and extremely filling. My husband ordered their homemade horchata and it was sooo good! We will be come back to try more! read more

This is a charming new brunch place! The staff is very friendly and service is excellent. They have an extensive menu and everything sounds great so it might take a while to choose. We got the guava crepe and buttermilk fried chicken. Guava Crepe- The galette is soft and chewy. The guava filling is sweet and fruity. It comes with a cream cheese whip that balances out the dish and ties the flavors together. I highly recommend it! Buttermilk Fried Chicken- The chicken is seasoned and breaded to perfection. You get a lovely crunch outside with soft and juicy meat. Served over a fluffy corn cake, a bed of spinach, and topped with this delicious red pepper sauce that I can't get enough of! I'll probably ask for extra on the side next time. I would definitely come back to try out the rest of the menu. read more

Best brunch spot in the Santa Ana/ Tustin area! Great prompt service with a smile with a super selection of great pancakes, breakfast, and lunch items! We got the tiramisu pancakes and a guava and cream pancake and a green chili verde and hash. All items excellent! They have a pancake flight if you can't decide which awesome pancake to get! If you're anywhere near Santa Ana, do yourself a favor and stop by The Pan. We had the shrimp and grits, the clam chowder, and the short rib Benedict and every single dish delivered. The shrimp and grits were rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The clam chowder was creamy without being heavy, packed with flavor in every bite. And the short rib Benedict? Absolutely next level. Tender, savory short rib with perfectly poached eggs, you could taste the care in the preparation. What made the experience even better was meeting the owner, Josue. Super humble, genuinely kind, and deeply caring about his guests and the food he serves. You can feel that this place isn't just a restaurant, it's personal. Great food is one thing. Great people behind it makes it unforgettable. We'll definitely be back. read more
Lucy's Loaded Burrito with barbacoa: 5/5. Savory, creamy, served piping hot and cut in half. Was dripping with juice and was therefore messy to eat with my hands, so I eventually used a fork and knife to finish it up. It had very little lettuce and barely any pico de gallo, but at least it came with a yummy tomatillo-like sauce. Pancake flight ("secret menu" item) with Tiramisu, Strawberry Paradise, and "Best Ever" Banana: 4/5. A flight includes a total of three mini pancakes of whichever pancakes you'd like, including corn cake but excluding French toasts. I liked Tiramisu the most. A friend also got a regular plate of Tiramisu pancakes and enjoyed it. No wonder our waitress was confident in recommending it. I just wished the flight came with a mini stack per flavor instead of just one mini pancake per flavor. Horchata latte ("secret menu" item): 3/5. It's horchata with some type of syrup and a shot of espresso. I thought it was a disappointingly bland. The horchata oomph was lacking, and the coffee was quickly diluted by the large volume of ice in the cup. However, another friend got the horchata latte with an extra shot of espresso and still thought the horchata flavor was quite prominent, so to each their own. All-Meat Pizza (14"): 4/5. I appreciated how the cheese and meaty toppings essentially covered the entire crust, so it was nearly crustless. I feel like the pizza could have used more red sauce, but another friend thought it was already satisfying as is, so again, to each their own. We encountered a couple of issues during our experience dining in at The Pan. Like getting overcooked poached eggs (firm yolks) in an eggs benedict dish. And needing to wait an additional 20 minutes (after the entire bill was paid) for a to-go pizza order that was placed at the beginning of our dine-in order and requested to be made a bit in advance to avoid waiting. Though the waitstaff were apologetic, these issues could've been resolved with a little more attention to detail. Free parking scattered around the premises. Tables were available both indoors and outdoors. They played oldies music that was fun to jam to. It was bustling with diners on a Sunday morning, but the waitstaff did their best to check in on us every so often. read more

I was car shopping in the area, got hungry and the "Breakfast Served All Day" sign brought me in. The dining room had a trendy yet laidback vibe. Definitely very clean, and welcoming. It felt like a breakfast diner for younger generations. The food was good. We split the Chilaquiles plate and the fried zucchini sticks appetizer. The best part about our visit was the service. Andrea was serving everyone all on her own, but still managed to give us very committed, caring and thoughtful service. I don't live nearby but would eat here again if I did. read more

We ordered a regular coffee, which is a giant cup that could be shared between two, and the fried chicken pancakes. This place exceeded all expectations! I was craving lechera pancakes (even though they weren't on the menu), and they went out of their way to make them for me! Which already won me over. Everything we had was absolutely delicious, and the service was just as amazing. The manager was so kind and made sure to check on us throughout our visit. I like the salt content and the butteriness of the biscuit. Def lingers on your tongue. Maybe not as flakey as others, but def worth. Mediterranean scramble 3/5 Lots of Kalamata olives, artichoke hearts, tomato, etc, I asked for it to be soft scramble but it looked pretty cooked. 3 eggs so it's a good amount of protein. Potatoes weren't that crispy, but they were decent when eaten with the bell peppers and onions. Portion not as large as sandwich. Fried chicken sandwich on croissant 4/5 Croissant itself is whatever, but sandwich as a whole is quite satisfying. Chicken wasn't dry and the pesto and onion helped to make it not as heavy. Def huge and shareable between two people. Carne asada fries 4/5 Not as crispy as id like, but they do the marinade for the carne asada better than other taco spots. Pretty good! Came here on a whim and was pleasantly surprised. The short rib Benedict was amazing. The pairing of the short rib with street corn, corn cakes, eggs, and crema verde was perfect. I will most definitely be coming back for this meal again. read more

Ok.. Let me start by telling you I drive 14 miles to eat at this restaurant. If that doesn't tell you something about this place, I don't know what will. I have eaten here at least eight times in the past three months. The portions are good, the prices are good, and the service is very good. I've eaten alone and I've invited family members to join me. Even though I treated my relatives to breakfast, they've returned a couple of times on their own because they enjoyed everything so much. At any time of the day, you can order breakfast or lunch (I haven't tried any of the lunch items yet). I've eaten the Loaded Hash Browns, the Country Benedict, the Cinnamon Roll Pancakes, The Lumberjack, and of course... drank a lot of coffee (they never let my cup get empty). I think they can sit about 50 customers, but you don't feel crammed-in. The music that they play is old school R&B (60s-early 80s) and it brings back good memories to talk about while eating. The servers are very accommodating and friendly. I met the owner, Josue, on my last visit. He is a very nice gentleman that really cares about his customers and wants to make sure that you're taken care of properly so that you'll want to return to his restaurant. read more

Staff was friendly and attentive, and for it just opening for the day there were a good amount of people in it. Opted for OJ (which I did enjoy because it had a little pulp) a veggie omelette that came with house potatoes and biscuits and gravy. Also ordered a blueberry pancake and a banana pancake to try (since a single pancake is only $5). Food came out quick and I appreciate that they give you butter and jam. On each table there was salt, pepper, syrup, tabasco, and other hot sauce. Veggie omelette - Had peppers, mushroom, spinach, and cheese. I wish there was more cheese in it though. House potatoes - ratio of peppers, onions and potatoes were good. I like that they were all cut to the same size. Banana pancake - topped with bananas and walnuts, had some bananas stuffed inside as well. It wasn't dry and had good banana flavor. Blueberry pancake - topped with lemon butter , which was delicious and tasted more like frosting ( I am not a fan of syrup - so this gave enough sweetness for me) Lemon and blueberry is one of my favorite flavor combinations and I just wish there was more blueberry coming through. Bathrooms are single stall for each sex and need a code to enter, the bathroom was clean. Their menu also offers all day breakfast and menu items. I will come back since I want to try other pancake flavors. Update came back ordered the breakfast burger -beef egg bacon aioli on brioche bun. Egg was nice and runny but even with the aioli it was bland and the bun was dry and the patty was flavorless. Cinnamon roll pancake was the highlight of this meal - cream cheese frosting yum! I stole the walnuts off the banana pancake and put them on this and Chef kiss. And I love my toast just an fyi if you order you get one piece of bread sliced in half. read more

This is the first OC location opened up earlier this year. It's a breakfast and lunch only restaurant which is closed every Tuesday and open 'til 4pm every other day. There are a lot of delicious sounding items, and they have a wide variety with burgers, sandwiches, tacos, burritos, fish & chips, linguine, pizza, many salads, a kids menu, mocktails, and specialty coffee. It was my first time eating here, so I wanted to try their pizza first. I went with the Pan Deluxe Deep Dish, but it's really just added crust around the pizza cooked in a higher pan. That is how it looked in the Yelp photos, so I knew what to expect. Just know it's not a true deep dish, but I am glad for that. The Havana Pizza looks amazing, especially the crust. I think I'll try that one next. The Cuban pork sandwich comes with a few Yucca fries, but only a few, so we added a side of zucchini fries to that meal. It was all good! I look forward to trying something new next time. Oh and they are giving a 20% off card to use on your next order, probably for a limited time during their first year. I'll definitely want to try their homemade horchata one of these days. Looking forward to that! read more
