Decent pizza joint in the heart of Tustin! Upon entering the establishment, you can expect to have your order taken relatively quickly. They offer a standard variety of pizza offerings to choose from including BBQ chicken, Meat Lovers, and Jalapeno + Pepperoni. This store offers a pretty good lunch special where you can get 3 slices and a soft drink for ~$12 which is what I got. They place the pre-made pizza slices back into the oven so that when it comes out, it's fresh, hot, and ready to eat. The food quality was pretty average, definitely nothing special to note compared to the many pizza joints all around OC. I did not find it particularly appealing but the slices were big in size. The place has a lot of seating and the ambiance was definitely very casual. We grabbed a quick lunch and it was just what we needed. We came a little after 12 and the smaller parking lot was full with one spot left. Ordering at the counter was quick and easy, and the staff were friendly and helpful. There is a good variety of pizzas to choose from. It's convenient to see what's available in the display cases. The pineapple Jarritos was cold and refreshing and went perfectly with the pizza. The spot itself is casual and easygoing, with quick service and friendly staff. Good spot for pizza by the slice!! I love the large variety of different slice options you can choose from and they'll warm it up before serving it to you. Its so cal pizza week!! :) For $5 you can get a slice if pizza and a canned soda. I opted for the veggie. They have 3 options: spinach ricotta, Margherita, and veggie. As a vegetarian i truly appreciate having something aside from cheese!! The crust is paper thin, there is a cheese pull and the toppings are lightly flavored but balanced. Terra Mia made a "Best of Orange County" list ages ago and deservingly so. It's unassuming and casual looking. They have a display case of various slices that are premade or you can order a whole pie. There's even a Neo-Geo arcade game in the back. We sampled different slices and they reheated in the oven behind the counter. Beware -- both my wife and I burned our mouths after being too impatient to wait for them to cool down. I had slices of Hawaiian, pepperoni, house special, and bbq chicken. All of them were good, but the house special was a little overwhelming. My wife had the vegetarian and it was probably my favorite slice, though each slice was great in its own right. Admittedly, the crust was a bit dry after reheating, but this was no surprise. For $25 we had 6 slices of pizza a two drinks -- a steal. The whole experience felt like New York City and the pizza tasted like a slice from the Big Apple. I came to Terra Mia during Pizza Week about a month ago or so, and had their cheese pizza slice. Apparently, this is a New York style pizza place. I sat down at one of their tables in their patio area outside with a pretty neat view typical of Irvine (fresh nature and air with some cars on biggish roads) and carefully ate the cheese pizza slice. The first thing I did was to dab off as much of the oil as possible, which was a lot and ran out of napkins, but while the cheese pizza tasted pretty solid, it didn't leave me with a clean feeling at all and I'd decided that I'd never go back there for a pizza given how important my health is, particularly the lipids. I even left complimenting the lady who helped me that this was the best New York style slice around and she really couldn't care less. Oh well! read more

Fantastic local pizza shop in Tustin. They have reasonable prices for a great slice of pizza. Obviously tastes much better if you get it fresh but the pizza available by the slice get the job done. I had my little high schooler mentee with me and we both went with the 2 Slice with drink Combo ($9/each). What a good deal! The little one went with both pepperoni. I had a chicken bbq slice and a pepperoni and sausage slice. Yum. They reheated it and can bring it to your table for you. They have a fancy soda dispenser for you to refill your drink while you're there. Staff was really quick and efficient considering how busy they were. The slices were on the large size. The crust was crispy and thin the way I like it. Toppings were on point. Staff came and checked if we needed anything else while we were there too. I'm really glad I discovered Terra Mia. To go order. Great option for NY style pizza in Tustin. 1x 18" Pizza is not enough for a family for 4. Next time I'd order an 18" and a few extra single slices from the counter. The food: 18" half cheese, half pepp (9/10) - Wow. So good. Good cheese, good sauce, good crust. Chicken parm (6/10) - Too salty, doesn't come with any pasta but does come with 2 garlic knots, and has with lots of tomato sauce. Probably wouldn't reorder. Neapolitan ice cream cake (8/10) - 1 slice to share was fine. Just a fun dessert option you don't normally see. Would reorder. The experience: They were super busy on a wkend night. Place was cracking. We called in our order but still waited 15+ min inside the restaurant waiting for the chicken parm. The problem was that our pizza sat there getting cold for the 15-20min we waited so when they handed it to us the box had gone cold. We fully had to reheat in our oven at home. Stumbled on this place because my youngest daughter of 6 years old was dying of starvation apparently. Literally whined and cried that she was hungry and wanted lunch (at 10:30 am). Super nice staff and the restaurant was standard, simple neighborhood pizza joint. The nice thing is they sell pizza by the slice. We ended up getting a whole pizza (8 slices) to go. There were still a few patrons dining in and a few waiting for to go orders too. Nice little pizza shop in the middle of a small plaza. Stopped by this placing after visiting micro center for computer needs and I gotta say, I think I found a hidden gem. Shame on this place! I was wanting to try a new place to get some slices and looked up on line reviews in this place look good. I arrived and they had about 10 dead pizzas in the case to choose from. The young guy that was working the counter was very rude and said what do you want cheese pizza? He wasn't helpful in trying to pick out what kind of pizza to get. He just seemed very unfriendly and so I paid and I gave him a tip as I usually do but I wish I hadn't. He said it comes with a drink you can grab a cup. So I take the cup and I go to the drink machine and there's no ice. The other guy that works there an older guy with a beard says yeah we don't have ice. In the meantime he had put my pizza back in the oven to warm it up but as it was taking a while I felt like it was going to cook the pizza more and the pizza was already cooked. In the meantime I heard the one guy make fun of my voice to the other guy. I have a different sounding voice a unique voice and I guess that was unusual to him so he felt like he was going to make fun of me. Thankfully I'm in my fifties and I have been insulted over my life by the best of them and it doesn't hurt my feelings but it shows a lot about these people that work there. Not to mention there was a young Asian girl that came in after me that obviously had never been there either and he was rude to her also, so go figure. I told him to take the pizza out of the oven as I don't like it so hot. He put it in a box and practically threw it at me. I was completely sad and appalled. Oh and by the way I gave two stars because it was nourishment as I was starving from working all day and needed to eat but for the pizza portion of this experience it basically tasted like greasy meat and cheese on top of a flavorless Saltine cracker. I would never ever go to this place again it was the first and last time and the sad thing is food quality can be overlooked but when somebody is a hater in a rude person you can't fix that and it leaves such a bad taste in your mouth it could be the best tasting Pizza on Earth and it wouldn't matter.
