First time visitor to this place - located in old town tustin Parking is available on the streets or possibly behind the restaurant Indoor and patio dining available. Maximizing space inside and outside a few tables and stools and heater. Rustic cozy comfort environment with the wood and pizza oven off to the side Pizza salads antipasti available and few kid options No reservations, walk in only Would have been a 4 star place but the service lacked from beginning to end, though food overall was good. Upon entering on a rainy day, wasn't greeted and stood waiting to be acknowledge. Small wait no problem and understandable. Was told would receive a text when a table was ready. A text turned out to be a phone call and was asked if was still looking for a table and an inside one was available. Went inside and was going to be seated at the window dining and immediately told patio is next available. A bit odd and but still went with it but was sat directly next to the electrical panels. Our server came didn't introduce himself didn't ask if it was our first visit or provide recommendation or any of the specials. It would appear we had to initiate many of the questions on our end. Even after the food was delivered, we weren't check upon and the server walked by multiple times checking on other tables behind and around us. Even when dropping off the check, didn't offer anything else or ask how everything was. Order the Misto and Salciccia to share. Please note some of the pizza has 2 pricing for a half or whole order. Misto was basically their version of a charcuterie board with multiple types of cheese meats grapes olives bread and fig jam. I would say the fig jam and one of the salami were the star, everything else felt a bit basic but still tasted fine. The Salciccia pizza was quite hearty and fresh made to order. The Italian sausage provided small saltiness with the robust tomato sauce and though soggier in the middle, the crust and cornmeal? really shined through the crunch and taste. Fresh basil brought the flavors together and was not overpowering. It appeared to have 6 slices or might have been 8 but the whole pizza was finished. The tiramisu was light and flavorful with its creamy puff and moisture of the cake. Very shareable and not overly sweet. Would certainly return to try more pizzas and the salads look refreshing and pretty in presentation to try. Family friendly, date night, and group outing yes indeed. read more

My family has been eating at Centro for a while now, and it's been pretty consistent in terms of food and service for us. My parents, husband, and I shared the misto platter, which is a great amount of food and super delicious. The prosciutto is great, and I love all the cheeses. I just wish it came with a liiiittle bit more cheese. My mom and I shared the margherita pizza, which we both enjoyed. It wasn't amazing, but it's fresh and the crust is good. My husband loved his calzone (he basically licked the plate clean!), and my dad enjoyed his salsiccia pizza. We all shared a bottle of the rose, and it was also tasty. I wish the burrata pizza came with sauce and mozzarella in addition to the rest of the ingredients it includes. I would definitely order that! Unfortunately it is a sauce-less pizza, which is pretty underwhelming to me. I would also love to add burrata to the other pizzas if I could! Last weekend my wife and I enjoyed a wonderful lunch with close friends at Storico. Everything was excellent -- the food, the service, and the desserts. After lunch, around 2:50 p.m., I stopped by Centro to order two small pizzas: a Margherita with extra cheese and a Vegetarian pizza. We have ordered from Centro several times before and always enjoyed the pizzas, so we had no reason to expect any problem. However, the order was disappointing. I paid $39.87 for what was supposed to be two small pizzas. When my wife and I opened the boxes at home, we found only six small slices of cold pizza -- three slices of Margherita without the extra cheese I had requested, and three slices of Vegetarian pizza. I emailed and left voicemails to them whether there was a misunderstanding with my order. Is $39.87 really the correct price for what we received. But no response at all!!! I have attached photos showing what was actually included in my order. Look at them and judge it by yourself. Maybe I am wrong. Maybe I expect too much from them. I haven't had good pizza like this in so long. The restaurant is pretty small on the inside but heard they have outdoor seating. The server was very friendly and hyped up the small salad when I asked about it. The lunch special is from Thursday - Sunday and it was an amazing deal at $12, which is half a pizza and a small salad. The salad was pretty big for a side and had a balsamic dressing - delicious! Delicious every time! I love coming here specifically for their wood-fired pizzas. The Salsiccia is my all-time favorite. I have yet to find another pizza I like as much as this one. Absolutely adorable little establishment. We arrived right at 5 o'clock at opening and we're lucky we did because within 10 minutes It was swamped. Menu consists of Panini's and pizzas all cooked in the Woodfire oven, which was amazing. Our server was Israel and he was a 20 of 10. Really made you feel welcome, friendly, educated, explain things well, and never made you feel rushed despite being the only server in the entire place Order a salad to start and it could've used some seasoning which was an ongoing theme. But the arugula is Chris and it was a pretty nice balance overall once you added salt. We did the half order and was plenty for two of us to share. Ordered pizzas. I did the mushroom, my husband did the pepperoni and sausage which was not on the menu, but they were happy to accommodate and both of my kids got cheese pizza. All of the pizzas came out on a very nice crust. They obviously use double zero flour because it was late and still crispy. The cheese is certainly not from a bag and delivered by Sysco. It was a little watery but light and stringy. my mushroom pizza also came with ham on it. The mushrooms were just like white mushrooms that were sliced up. And the ham was very flavorful, but I would've preferred some caramelization or something mushrooms that disappointment. Sausage and pepperoni pizza pepperoni were spicy and we really liked them. The kids loved their pizza as well. Overall place with a great atmosphere. The only deduction was because all of our pizzas really needed salt as did the salad and I wasn't thrilled with the mushroom selection on mine. Love the wine sampler! It is such a cool concept! Wish more places had these for indecisive, analysis paralysis folks like me. Unfortunately, because I can't MATH, I thought one wine sampler (8oz) = 1 glass of wine (5oz) and that is how I got wasted on a weekday night. If you still trust my alcohol-tinted opinion, here it is: Vegetariana: loved all the veggies on this, especially the arugula. Was debating whether to get a salad + pizza or two pizzas so I'm glad this was basically a hybrid. Tasty and you get your greens! Scamorza: hubby and I got them to hold the pancetta on half the pizza so I could have it without. It was interesting with the rosemary but it wasn't very flavorful otherwise. My guess is that modifying it to be vegetarian took the flavor out. The place is small and casual. Very friendly staff.
