I came here for the first time over the weekend and loved the food here. The essentials: the standard, typical American breakfast with eggs, breakfast potatoes, choice between bacon/sausage, and toast or salad. The breakfast potatoes were good and flavorful. We picked sausage, but unfortunately they offer turkey sausage here instead of pork (so it's a little dry and bland). It's what you can expect from an American breakfast and a solid breakfast option Lemon ricotta hotcakes: The portion size is HUGE! I definitely recommend sharing with another person unless you have a large pancake appetite, haha. The honeycomb butter is sooooo delicious. I didn't even feel like I needed syrup for the pancakes after spreading the butter :) Nice lemon flavor, but I definitely wished it was a little more prominent Even though the line looks long, it does move quickly and I like that they had an employee managing the line inside and outside :) There's only a limited amount of seating inside, but plenty of tables outdoors. Always a long line but food seems fresh. I always get the breakfast burrito. The sauce on the side and pico are good with it. I've had the coffee french toast and that was good too. Seating inside isn't really my cup of tea but outside is fine but always crowded. Never had an issue getting a table though. Bathroom is not the cutest. There's like a weird funky stale smell, probably due to no ventilation. I would not try to come and eat here if you are in a rush. Located in a big shopping plaza, with lots of parking available, we grabbed breakfast. There are a few tables inside, which were all mostly taken, which is a good sign for a Tuesday morning. But there are plenty of tables outside as well. We got The Essentials which consists of eggs, breakfast potatoes, bacon or turkey sausage, and toast or salad. We had a chance to try out this restaurant for breakfast this week. It is located along Irvine Center Drive, near Sand Canyon. We went in, sat down and waited. No one came to us? Strange? I went to the counter and was told you must stand in line and order your food. I grabbed a menu, read it, made a selection, and was given the option of 18 to 25 percent tip. What for? I did everything. Oh, they brought the food to me. Here we go again? A DYS restaurant. This seems to be happening everywhere. Restaurant owners are designing their service as DYS. Have we lost the value of human contact? Have we all given up on the value of humanity? Twenty years ago, everywhere you went, we talked to each other; now, it's tablet, cell phone, texting, tap your card, DYS eating. I asked for a coffee. They gave me a small paper cup. The coffee is really good, but not in a mug? No refills? The food came. It was okay. We sat shoulder to shoulder with other customers on a steel wire chair. It was not very comfortable at all. It would have been nice to talk to someone who worked there, but again, they just do their job and don't have time for chit chat. No reason, they are not earning tips. Looking for breakfast nearby and found this place on YELP. So glad we tried it! Everyone on the staff could not have been nicer. You order at the counter and they bring your food to your table. We ordered The Essential, which was the standard egg breakfast with potatoes, protein, and toast. There was nothing standard about it. Both the bacon and the turkey sausage were delicious, the eggs were cooked to our specifications, and the sourdough toast was yummy, although I wish they would have buttered it for me when it was still hot, instead of bringing me a pat of butter to do it myself at the table. The Brekkie Potatoes were a delight-just roasted potatoes with salt, pepper, and thyme. The Spring Special Honey Lavender Latte is, in itself, a reason to come here. Wow definitely we got here early after our KP 5K race that morning (11am). Plenty of parking to snag a spot but we know this place is popping. Between the four of us we ordered the Nourish Bowl, Turkey Pesto Sandwich, Breakfast Burrito, and the Morning Market Scramble -- and everything tasted super fresh and balanced like always. On another visit , there was no bacon whatsoever even though we ordered a sausage burrito and added sausage. We spent $30 on a burrito and additions only for things to be missing both times where there was no sausage and barely any bacon. We really love Everyday and love to support small businesses (as you can see we visit often), but the consistency has been lacking. I was in a sweet breakfast mood today so I went with one of their signatures: lemon ricotta hotcakes. There was a disclaimer on the menu that it takes a bit longer to cook, but it came out at the same time as my friends, who didn't order it, so don't be too worried. The amount of lemon in the batter was just the right amount. It was enough to know there was lemon but not too much to overpower the dish. The ricotta made the batter more fluffy, moist, and light enough that I could finish the whole plate without feeling stuffed. It comes topped with honeycomb butter, but I honestly think the pancakes are sweet enough without it. I added a bit of maple syrup with some of my bites which made it just right. Found this place on yelp after I was in the area and craving breakfast food. I've loved Everyday Eatery for a long time but my most recent visit was unfortunately lacking. Their avocado toast is so pretty but I ordered takeout recently and the toast was very burnt. I am updating a review to highlight one of the associates at the location named Emily. She makes beautiful latte art, is incredibly warm and kind, and when she is the one making my lattes, it turns out delicious. She is always welcoming and patient. My favorite latte at this location is the hot, maple latte with oatmilk. My usual go to drink anywhere is a hot, vanilla latte but it hasn't been good here the last time I tried from a while back. However, I may have to go back and try the vanilla latte again from this place. Despite how busy this place gets, it's always clean and efficient.
