I have to admit this place has both indoor and outdoor seating super friendly service and a great rewards program so I started off with the six cheese bagel, toasted and cream cheese that seemed only arouse my appetite since it was lunchtime I had to have more so I came back and I got the pepperoni pizza bagel. It was worth it inside. Seating is nice. Music is great and the place smells absolutely delicious all the way through outdoor seating is nice and tranquil because it's recessed back from the parking lot so you don't have to deal with all the car sounds the pepperoni pizza bagel was super delicious. Surprised to see all the low ratings for this Einstein. I used to go here all the times when I used to live in Irvine because my daughter loved their bagel with butter & jelly when she was younger. But I haven't been here for a while since I moved away and also trying to limit my carbs intake. We recently had Einstein bagels for breakfast and they were as good as I remember. I like to toast it for a few minutes so the top layer is a bit crispy but the dough is still nice and chewy on the inside. Extra yummy with some cream cheese spread. read more

Einstein Bagels is a bagel chain that has been around since the '90s. I usually get a cranberry or hash brown bagel with schmear. Their bagels are baked fresh daily, although they are not as soft as some places. It's convenient and they also have specials on Mondays. I believe you can get a Baker's Dozen- 13 bagels and schmear for $20.50. Individual bagels are around $2.89 each and with schmear around $6. They also sell doggie bagels for $2 each so if you have a dog, that would be a nice treat! Our dog loves the bagels from here! There is plenty of seating inside and tables outside where you can enjoy your bagels. Customer service is good although some of the staff members have a hard time understanding sometimes as English is not their first language. Happy eating! read more

Einstein Bros might be my new favorite bagel spot in Irvine! I haven't tried their Classic or Signature bagels yet, but a simple bagel with a flavored cream cheese has been my go-to breakfast. Their garden cream cheese is so good! All bagels come out super soft and baked fresh daily. I also recommend their Morning Mocktails. It's a nice change from your typical orange juice. I went in for a bagel on my way to work and immediately noticed the worker talking rudely to a delivery driver. The entire time I was checking out the menu, she kept repeating the same thing and getting frustrated with the driver. There was clearly a language barrier, and she was making no effort to help the man. She was getting mad at the man because her coffee machine wasn't working. What kind of service is that? I normally love coming to Einsteins but this time around it was a bit disappointing. I came in over the weekend just past 9am and several bagel flavors were already sold out. I asked if there were more Green Chili bagels in the works but was told no. I was surprised that this early in the mid morning, they'd already stop making so many flavors. I ended up getting the Farm House on the Cheddar Jalapeño bagel. The overall taste was very good, however, the jalapeños on the bagel looked as though they'd all but one fallen off because it was still stained from the jalapeño previously being on it. As for the restaurant itself, it was very clean and there were works actively toweling off the counter tops by the hot coffee. I came here with some friends for an eat and chat breakfast on June 28, 2026 around 9:30am. I loved how even being a Sunday it wasn't crowded and there were outside tables available. The place was busy, but really inviting and the people were so friendly and helpful. Since I haven't been here in a few years I had to look at the online menu to see if any new changes were on their bagel list. My all time favorite Apple Cinnamon was still on the menu, but availability is different at each location. The last time I came in they told me it went away and was discontinued and not coming back. I was super excited that it was right before my eyeballs. These bagels are seriously to die for. They are on the smaller side, but the flavor and quality outweighs everything. This experience was pure deliciousness like a dream. So I was telling the cashier (I did not get her name) with the curly dark hair wearing a hat that I had come here previously and they didn't have it so I was disappointed, but was excited it was back again. They so generously and graciously hooked me up with a free Apple Cinnamon Bagel. I never expect anything like that, but I am so appreciative for the kindness given. (SHOUT OUT AND THANK YOU TO THIS CASHIER) I got it lightly toasted which was phenomenal and done right and got light chive and onion shmear because I like the sweet and savory combination. It hits the spot! I also ordered a large Iced Latte. I have to say it was good, but it was way too strong and they had a lot of ice in it which I love. So, if you are sensitive to caffeine I would say get extra ice or try something else. They have so many specialized bagel flavors and so many different menu options you can't go wrong here and nothing disappoints. If you are new and are trying this place out for the first time my recommendations would be: Apple Cinnamon Bagel Cinnamon Sugar Bagel Cheddar Jalapeno Bagel Spinach Florentine Bagel If you like Lox then I would recommend Nova Lox Brunch Special The shmear is whipped and creamy that it compliments the bagels nicely. Would I recommend and go back - YES YES YES so many times over. My eyes, mouth and stomach thank you Einstein's for making this a scrumptious experience! One suggestion for improvement is when you walk in it is difficult to determine where the line begins and ends and who is ordering or waiting for their food. Repeated it twice and she still got it down wrong. My name isn't that hard. How do you get Tajin (tah-gin) from Sunny??? At least repeat the name back to me so that I can correct you. I sat there waiting for my bagel but they never called my name (they kept repeating Tajin). On top of that, the staff calling out the names was so quiet you could barely hear him. They realized they put in the wrong name, didn't apologize, and gave me the cold bagel that was sitting there, without offering to reheat or remake it. I went this past Sunday morning at 9:30 to buy a baker's dozen but they were out of several bagels including PLAIN. I was told my only option was to wait for bagels to finish baking, but was not given a time frame. First, I would imagine that weekend mornings are their busiest times and they should plan for this. It seems very poor planning to be low or out of basic varieties of bagels that early. Second, the cashier showed little to no concern for the issue. Truly not sure how this place has so few stars, the service here has been amazing every time despite this being such a crowded spot in the mornings.
