I love this Dunkin', oh yes, oh yes! This Dunkin', nestled in the University Center shopping center near the bridge to UCI, has decaf breakfast tea! The majority of the West Coast Dunkin' locations do not stock the decaf breakfast tea; however, this one done. Happy, happy day! I've almost given up asking for it since only two (of nine) California locations that I've visited stock it. Additionally, this location has more Dunkin' merch, including hot and cold drinks canisters and dog toys, than many of the others. Made a mobile order that was accepted into the system Sunday morning June 28 and we arrived (along with others who made mobile orders) to find that the store was closed. No way to get a refund. If you are going to close during your normal operating hours, you must turn off mobile order. read more

It's ridiculous how poor the customer service is at this location. The only reason I've kept coming here is because I much prefer Dunkin coffee to other large chain coffee, but I might have to avoid this location from now on. It takes like 20 minutes for a simple order of coffee and a sandwich to be made, and there's only ever one or two miserable-looking employees behind the counter who give you attitude if you ask any question. It's also insanely hot in this location, which cannot be good for the food or drink storage. Things have vastly improved at this Dunkin' Donuts location since my review over four years ago. Service is more prompt and efficient - there is minimal wait for my order after placing and paying for my order through their snazzy app. Drinks are solid, food is fresh and tasty, the donuts are awesome! Download the Dunkin' app to get points and special offers. I think the current mobile offer this month (March 2024) is a $3 medium cold brew once a day. They've been having good deals on the app for bkfast Sammies. I usually order via mobile app for convenience, but I went when there was an event on UCI and it was sooo packed. Usually my order is done ASAP, but it took a while. Mainly wrote this review to give Kudos to the staff. They handled the chaos well and didn't have any attitude even though the random rush was making things go out of stock like milk / syrups etc. That needed to be refilled. The workers here are always so nice. As for food, it's been pretty good. My go to hot cocoa with a shot of raspberry was disappointing. Maybe it was a bad day. If I wasn't supposed to be eating excess sugar in the first place I would've asked for more cocoa. The seasonal snowflake donut was sold out by noon on a Saturday. Friendly employees although orders are filled on the slow side. Their order queue screen is helpful. They have an expanded food menu (a pancake taco?! Ooh) but the posted calories made me not get a donut. Still my fave is the Cruller. Pumpkin munchkins (donut holes) still offered in mid December. I was so excited today! Took my youngest granddaughter for a walk. On my way around today we walked in the cute walkways of the shopping center which had the DD! I was able to ask at the front counter if they had the new iced lemon loafs and the nice lady told me yes! So I ordered 2 to go and took one for my daughter and one for me! My granddaughter is too young as she is fed by her mama. We ate them when we got home. So lemony and oh so gooooooood! By the way, I also like the LA Dodgers donuts! I love this Dunkin Donuts location in UTC right by the UCI campus! I've spent so much time drinking iced coffees and studying in the comfy outdoor patio with friends. The patio is shaded, always clean, has outlets, and has wifi. Perfect spot to study, hang out with friends, or just grab a refreshing drink. Normally, I come here and have no problems and they are pretty efficient but not today. The service was not great and I was late for work. Even though I put my order in ahead of time, if my order was ready when I got there or even in a few minutes afterwards it would have been OK, but I noticed that one of the workers was working on all the food items then bringing them up altogether versus putting them on the counter when they were ready.They had 5 orders come up at once. My drink was made wrong as well and had to be corrected. When I asked if my order was ready because the little sign said it was she said it was broken. It's just inconsiderate to the customer. Since my time was limited, I am going to list the pros and cons of this Dunkin: Pros: -The Sour Cream was delicious! It is basically a glazed old fashion but it was crunchy, sweet, and mouth watering! I am glad I did not get the dozen because I would not have been able to control myself. -Americano was filled to the brim (always a plus for me) -Price is awesome -Service was fast and was greeted w a smile. Did not remember what the donut I wanted was called and she asked me questions to help me determine it was the old fashion sour cream :) Cons: -It was crowded and I hate the way the floors were marked to enforce social distancing. It is a small space so I understand the attempt to make the spaces staggered but it is confusing and no one was following it. There were three people in front of me so i stood at the door and people were just cutting in front of me if they were in tunnel vision like I was an unprofessionally dressed, haggard door holder (i had messy hair and was dressed in pajamas.) Fifteen minutes after I ordered my wake up wrap it still wasn't being made, ended up j saying give me a donut instead and leaving also didn't even get a refund because I didn't have a physical card on me. This Dunkin is an average quality in a food location. It's locates in the University Town Center Plaza and has a nice, heated patio where you can dine or study. In the mornings the lines are really long, but they go by relatively quickly. The food and drinks are standard and consistent with other Dunkin locations. I definitely recommend their hot items on the menu because they taste really fresh! My only issue is that the staff touched all over the lid of my cup on the mouth hole with bare hands when giving me my drink and also ended up spilling my drink over their hands but just wiped it with their fingers and still gave it to me. I think there could be a little more hygiene protocols at this location, but I'll still drop by here for a quick bite or some refreshments while studying! read more

We came here around 08:15 AM in the morning, not crowded at all, there are plenty of outdoor seating around the area so very covid safe. I got the hot coffee and stuffed bagel minis ($2.00 with two small plain bagel bites). The bagel minis were pillow-y and not overly rich in cream cheese, perfect light breakfast or snack. I tried a bit of my BFs wake-up wrap and his sister's ham, cheese, and egg english muffin, both were pretty solid, sandwich was better than McD since it was less greasy and lighter. I have been to this location numerous times -basically because I'm a fan of their coffee which is alot less bitter than what is served at most coffee shops. The service is consistently HORRIBLE! They are under staffed (19 customers and 1 person behind the counter today making drinks AND taking orders). Finished orders are placed on the counter and no one calls out the name on the order so looking for your items becomes free-for-all (add in some employee attitude when you ask)! I love coming here on Friday with my wife for our weekly dose of cold brew with sweet foam on top. Ash, Tristen, and Katherine helped us out this past Friday and they are just one well oiled machine. Extremely inconsistent service and quality. Usually I order an iced coffee everyday, but my typical drink now tastes watered down and flavorless. Ordering here feels like a toss up with a 30% chance of your drink being accurately made, and a 70% chance it gets made wrong or they forget to give it to you. Or maybe just avoid the students who work here between 7 am and 9 am, since I normally come during these times and the drinks always come out wrong. Upon paying 2 others entered and asked if the cold brew special was still available, which it was. This was a great little Dunkin location! Not going to lie, it took me forever to find. I was craving Dunkin (like went out of my way and forced some friends to come with me). I just came back to this and realized I reviewed this dunkin years ago. Not only has nothing changed but it got worse. Service is slow as hell. The dunkin is hot inside. The donuts are all melty and sticky because of this. When I went in the workers mixed up my order three times. Homegirl touched my donut with her hand while trying to get it in the bag after the other dude gave me the wrong one. Gross. Coffee tastes weird and not right for dunkin. Not the best DD. Everytime I've been here, they've been out of most items. Service has always been fine though. Good location in the sense that there are lots of other places to eat and shop in this center. We usually end up here after making a stop at Amazon for a return or pick up. But parking can be a pain for that reason. Donuts are good, but I don't recommend the muffins. Came in earlier today, Sunday, at approximately 11:10am. At first glance, I noticed that it was super busy. I noticed immediately that there was a lack of urgency in the workers (saw only two -- 1 handling the drinks and the other at the cashier + boxing donuts). Regardless, service was just fine. I ended up getting half a dozen (2 old fashioned, 1 pumpkin, 2 strawberries, and 1 blueberry). Strawberry used to be my ultimate favorite!! For some reason it no longer tastes as fruity nor decadent (6/10). Although, I acknowledge that it could be just an off day or the donuts weren't too fresh. 4 stars just for the wonderful customer service I experienced a few weeks ago. This friendly employee was so nice, it felt as if I was in Chickfila! She greeted us, and had a smile on her face! Even though the other employee {she was training him} made my drink awful, I can overlook that for the wonderful customer service we encountered. I wish I could send her over to the Tustin location and instill some of that customer service to those employees. She genuinely was kind and thorough. I had never been to this location before, we just happened to be on that side of town grabbing dinner from Hen House and I always need my DD fix!!
