4 stars just for the wonderful customer service I experienced a few weeks ago. This friendly employee was so nice, it felt as if I was in Chickfila! She greeted us, and had a smile on her face! Even though the other employee {she was training him} made my drink awful, I can overlook that for the wonderful customer service we encountered. I wish I could send her over to the Tustin location and instill some of that customer service to those employees. She genuinely was kind and thorough. I had never been to this location before, we just happened to be on that side of town grabbing dinner from Hen House and I always need my DD fix!! Dunkin Donuts has been around a really long time. This is the first time I have seen DD appear near a college campus, to be in competition with the nearby UCI "giants" of Peet's Coffee and Starbucks. I really enjoy the semi-outdoor seating provided in this location, which is the perfect spot to study or just take it easy between work/classes. A few things need to be improved, in order to earn that fourth star. The maple and chocolate bars were good, but the frosting came out to be more of a saccharine liquid rather than a sugary layer of goodness. Some of the "deals" are very ambiguous, such as the "free donut" that accompanies a coffee (they only told me later that it had to be a medium coffee). The young employees, overall, seem very unsure about proper customer service, but this is forgivable, since they are still learning and will definitely be able to develop better interpersonal skills as they gain more experience. This place has so much potential. With the school year just around the corner, I am confident they will have enough time to turn things around, to make this spot the next best thing among the UTC/campus "giants" Cha, Starbucks, Peets, and Yogurtland. read more

beautiful store, nicely stocked/clean on the inside. Tap coffee selection is what impressed me the most! Great location, plus they actually had the NEW Chocolate Stout Cold brew on Tap, which is what we were searching for... Super happy to know they look organized and with good inventory.. college Girls are so polite/sweet. Plus, I love, love, love, this time of year when Irish creme makes it's way back to the Store. The staff was so nice. This review does not reflect the workers at all. They're 5 star workers! I come here regularly but today I was bummed because I got a bunch of donuts and there was barely any filling in the Boston Creme donuts! My friends I shared it with bit into theirs and we all saw how empty the inside was of all of them! Also, some of the heart shaped Boston Cremes were so much smaller than others, but they were all the same price. Really sad about the inconsistency. I feel like I got ripped off today. Come here to study once in a while but won't be coming back after all the mosquito bites I've been getting in the patio seats. They are literally flying around the bottom of the tables and probably attracted to all the crumbs and liquid people spill around these areas. Excellent service and delicious donuts as expected from the dunkin' franchise! This specific one is located inside of the UCI university center so parking is plentiful and time limited as well. My visit here was made all the better by Nae who greeted me with a warm smile and answered my questions kindly as I decided on my donut selection. This place was spacious and there were many tables available for studying. However... the cashier was absent so we waited around 3 minutes before we finally decided to call them out to order something. Their cameral latte was pretty watered down and overall, this place is only good for students looking for a spacious place to study at. Generally disorganized store with poorly trained staff. Donuts are put out with still-wet glaze, and sold stacked in paper bags with no wax paper separating them. The result is a sticky mess, which leaves most of the glaze on the bag itself. Why not just skip the middle man and give me my order face down in the palm of my bare hand? They consistently mix up the donut labels - a basic task that every customer can see they've failed at - and they don't even care when you tell them! They've just opened and they've already given-up on this basic matter of presentation. I shudder to think what the back of this store will look like in a couple months, if they keep the facade in this kind of disarray. They can't be better organized where no one can see, can they? If this had been the first Dunkin Donuts, it surely would have been the last, too. read more

I had came to this DD because I was close to this shopping center. I walked in anf noyived 2 girls standing around talking i had asked a girl (I believe her name was Savannah) a question. She must have either not liked my question or didn't know what I was talking about bevause she gave me a dirty look and said no we don't have that here. And continued to talk to the other worker. I was so appauled on how she acted so I walked out and didn't bother ordering my coffee. If someone works in customer service, shouldn't they at least act nice!? I have never in my life had such a rude staff member. She should be talked to and trained better. I will no longer come to this location. If she treats the customers this way I wonder how long this place will last. I hope top management does something about this if they want to keep customers happy. read more

Came for the grand opening for Dunkin' at University Village. This is located right behind Target and next to the Amazon store. They were handing out free samples of donut holes, and you get a free plastic tumbler with any purchase. There's outdoor seating with a fire pit! Really cool set up, I can see this place is going to be really popular for people-watching. I think they open at 4:30 in the morning, perfect for early-risers. read more

Friendly staff, inviting place, outside patio to work and converse, and a great selection of fresh donuts and awesome coffee on tap... oh my! If you love donuts, you will go nuts at this new Dunkin Donuts at UTC next to UC Irvine. I got half dozen donuts and surprised my office staff; they loved them... Great to see a bunch of students sitting outside and enjoying their cool drinks and studying. About the only blemish could be is that there's not enough standing room where you browse the donut selection and place your order. Watch out for long lines as the news rolls out and eager students return to UCI for Fall. read more

I've had multiple issues with this Dunkin giving me the wrong order, to the point that I'm pretty sure it was the same employee just messing with me because she thought it was funny. but this time they literally gave me my breakfast sandwich still frozen in the middle. This is a new Dunkin' Donuts in University Center. There were a bunch of promotional offers posted outside so I decided to take advantage of it. The procedure for redeeming it was not detailed so I wasn't immediately provided with it and had to ask about how to redeem it. While it said the line goes to the right it didn't say anything about how to get the food so people snuck around me. There is seating outside. There is seating connected to the building. There are also some umbrella seats next to the bridge which is a Pokémon GO gym. Parking is limited in time. read more

Went in today for first time to pick up some do it's for kids. These look like day old donuts that didn't even hold until we got home. I asked the guy at cashier if they are fresh after seeing the glaze isn't looking so good and more of a wet look! He said new baker and grabbed two other ones from back but they all look the same. I went many times to study. My favorite drink is iced macchiato! I become really productive when I worked here maybe because most of the coffee places play loud music which is really distracting for me! The donuts themselves are ok, nothing to write home about, but they're still good, just not anything amazing. They do have limited time donuts they make sometimes though. WORST customer service ever. I went here to get some coffee and use a coupon that was on the Irvine Company app. I told the cashier before I ordered I had a coupon for a buy one get one free coffee; even showed her my phone where I had the coupon. I finished ordering and showed her the coupon and that I was redeeming it and she tells me they don't allow those coupons anymore. I ended up just getting the one coffee since my husband didn't really want one anyways. I pick up my coffee at the end of the counter and I asked the gentleman if I could speak to a manager and he tells me there is no manager. I ask him if I could get the contact information for the store manager; he says he doesn't have their number. I ended up just leaving with my order but the employees at this Dunkin Donuts really need to take a class in customer service. This has got to be the worst Dunkin' that I have ever experienced. It's a shame because it's the closest to where we live. We have been ordering here for about 2 years - mostly delivery. More than 50% of the time the order needs to be corrected or something in the order needs to be included that's not. We expect something to be wrong at this point. After a few months break from this location, my boyfriend and I said we would try and order something today and see if the quality was any better. Unfortunately, it was not. It was the worse. They forgot my drink and my boyfriend's sandwich did not include the egg. In previous experiences we have not had espresso added to drinks, cheese not added, almond milk switched with regular, or cappuccinos were not foamed - literally, everything you could do wrong with an order has occurred with this location and our orders. It really is a shame because we absolutely love Dunkin'. The one a few miles down the road is amazing. When we go on road trips we ALWAYS go to Dunkin' because it feels like home. Unfortunately, this is for sure the last time we will order from this location. If you choose to order from here, you most likely have to go in and check your order before you walk out. Also, try the drink to make sure everything you asked for is in it before leaving. Never again. read more

No issue with customer service here. One star simply because the product sucks. Yes I tried a donut and he's it was really bad. Here in So Cal we have plenty of mom and pop donut places that seriously blow Dunkin out of the water in terms of quality. Really concerned about a big corporation like this squeezing out these places. Please support these smaller businesses so that we don't have to worry about Dumbkin taking over this space.
