The food here (esp croffles and the nutella banana bread) are so good. my fav drink is the mango jasmine tea one and also the double matcha strawberry drink(extra matcha base) The vibes are phenomenal here, the music is awesome! i wish they had more seating but i still manage to snag one lol!! In fact, it probably made finding my car it a bit easier because of it. Once entering the main shop on the right (see picture) the demographic leans more toward UCI students with laptop plugs galore, Korean mom's meeting up with pre-school children coloring in the corner, and your coaches for the local HS sports teams taking a quick break to refill their 2nd or 3rd cup of coffee. In terms of coffee, I tend to lean on the traditionalist side and like my drinks more coffee forward. This time I ordered a cortado that was just the perfect amount of espresso forward accompanied by milk that did not taste overly warmed/steamed. It may be a simple drink, but Roosevelt did it well. For those who aren't as pompous as me about my orders, I was still very impressed by the Asian and Asian-American takes on traditional drinks and pastries. Count me in as a fan. Outside the coffee, one of the tell-tale signs of a good shop is the baristas. Every time I come in I feel like the shop is run by not just some of the friendliest staff, but just the friendliest people I have encountered in the county in general. Overall, between the quality of the food, the prices, the staff, and the general warm environment it would be hard not to add Roosevelt Coffee to my coffeeshop rotation.

I believe they used oat milk since it's the base for their Strawberry Matcha Latte. I definitely tasted the strawberry, but it wasn't overwhelming to the point of making the drink taste like a milk with fruit puree. Iced Strawberry Rose Latte (seasonal, spring): 3/5. More on the bland side for me, as I didn't really taste either strawberry or rose. This also wasn't as sweet as the other seasonal drinks I've ordered. I got espresso in mine, but my friend's same latte as decaf had a subtle strawberry flavor in it, which was interesting considering it didn't taste similar to mine. Iced Lavender Latte: 2/5. This was also disappointingly bland and overly milky. To my palate, it tasted like it was only slightly sweetened, and without any lavender flavor or floral essence. I wonder if a stronger-flavored syrup would make it a better latte.

Awkward 5 second pause and we look at each other. Okay and? I'm not a coffee connoisseur... so what does that mean??? Reluctant to explain to me... she says one is stronger in caffeine. They are located inside of Vici Salon, have their own space with Wi-Fi and tables with comfortable chairs where you can do work or hang out. I had the Horchata Latté with oat milk (available hot or cold). It was really good. It is made with 2 shots of their signature espresso with a house-made horchata syrup or base, steamed or iced milk, and a dusting of cinnamon. You could taste the quality of the coffee. It was really good. The coffee was a little strong. The service was great and prices are average. I really enjoyed hanging out in their shop with friends. They have several locations. The vanilla latte tasted like sweet milk. I do not recommend the drinks at all, unless that is your type of flavor profile. The ambiance is very nice, it cultivates a work study vibe, and it seems it's a stop for morning walkers/friends catching up. You can order at a kiosk at the entrance or with the cashier. It is straightforward service, but it took about 20 minutes for our 2 drinks on a Friday morning. There is plenty of parking as its in a shared plaza.
