I have seen this place on social media and was hoping to try it one day. Was in the area and this place popped up. So I gotta stop by to try it. Ordered the lotus latte & corn matcha. None of the drinks really stand out. The lotus was biscoff and there was nothing special about it. I had better. Same with the corn matcha. The corn flavor wasn't really there...matcha itself was not bad. Cute place Prob will not drive outta my way for it...
The coffee place is located in a tiny neighborhood plaza with a small parking lot. There are only 4 or 5 tables inside and 5 tables outside, 2 with umbrellas. They're best know for their matcha drinks but I went a different direction, ordering an iced Madagascar vanilla latte and choosing a raspberry pistachio croissant from their pastry case. The interior had no available seating so I sat at an unshaded outdoor table for a few minutes. I appreciated the judicious amount of ice in the latte (I dislike it when places over-ice the drink). It was just okay with no flavor of vanilla detected despite their note that their vanilla syrup is housemade. The pastry was very not-so-great. It wasn't warmed (as requested) and was quite dry. I couldn't taste any pistachio, even with some crumbles on top, and the raspberry was minimal. It was oddly sliced horizontally in half. Based on other reviews, come for the matcha drinks otherwise it's a pass.
We stopped by Febe on our roadtrip down from LA SD because we were craving a matcha. Thankfully Febe is right off the 5 and easy to park in. The cafe itself is pretty small but there is plenty of outdoor seating. It seemed like this was the most popular spot in the shopping center. We ordered the blueberry matcha + regular matcha with oat milk and they were delicious! The blueberry syrup is so fresh and definitely the best i've ever had. They clearly use quality matcha as well. Would definitely recommend this spot.
The matcha is phenomenal here!! My husbands favorite is the banana matcha as seen in all the pictures. I am on a rotation from corn, black seasame and ube matcha. The space inside is outdated and a bit dirty...the matcha is the prize here! They have outdoor area and seating inside. Worth it for the matcha! There seems to be a line everytime we go! I wouldn't get coffee here...just matcha!
Such a cute little coffee shop with a great vibe! I got the matcha, and it was pretty good, just not my favorite. We also shared a pastry that was warmed up, but it was still a little cold in the middle. My cousin's blueberry matcha was super blueberry-forward, so we couldn't taste much of the matcha. The good news is the coffee was a big hit with the rest of our group! I'd definitely come back and try a few other drinks next time. The cashier was nice and friendly!
I opted for the Ube Matcha and I really liked the matcha and Ube quality. The drink is creamy and full flavor, matcha flavor is apparent and not just sweet green milk. Service was quick and luckily I came during a low time, but it does get busy as the day goes on. Ambiance is nice with limited indoor seating and a few seats available outside. Parking can be limited.
I'm someone who visits cafes all the time and absolutely loves both coffee and matcha. I went there with my daughter and ordered the Double Matcha Latte, and she got the Banana Matcha Latte. Wow, they really know how to do matcha right. I used to just pass by this place all the time, but I had no idea they served such amazing matcha lattes. It's easily one of the best matcha lattes I've ever had in my life. Just a heads-up, they have limited seating, so it's not really the type of cafe where you bring a laptop to study or get work done. It's definitely more of a spot for grabbing a quick takeout or catching up over a chat when you're craving good matcha. If you're a fan of matcha, I highly recommend giving it a try

Went on a Sunday around lunch and was surprised how packed this place was. I've read many reviews on their matcha so wanted to give this place a try. I got their corn matcha which had a subtle corn flavor. If you like your corn flavor strong, the drink might not hit the spot. The matcha itself wasn't bad, with a decent matcha flavor but also not too strong. I also got their black sesame hojicha which had a good black sesame foam but the hojicha flavor wasn't strong as well. Both drinks were sweet though. I usually get my drinks half sweet and it was still too sweet. I had to get my black sesame hojicha remade to 30% sweetness, but even that I think it would have been fine without any sugar at all. Despite the place being busy, the drinks did come out promptly. There are limited seating both indoor and outdoor but most people bought the drinks to go.
I got the ube matcha and my friend got the dot matcha lattes. Both of the drinks were wonderful! I was reflecting on how I used to go to the cafe that was in place of Febe before Febe came to be. Febe is far better. There's a bathroom and an outlet in the corner of the cafe. Everything is well kept and the service is incredibly kind! God bless you all.
My roommate recommended to try Febe coffee and we walked there together since it's quite close to our place which is super nice. I always love somewhere that is walking distance to neighborhoods. I got the banana matcha. I think the banana foam tasted a little too artificial for me, but the matcha itself was really delicious. Theres not much seating inside but there are some seats outside if you are looking to stay. And if you come on a less busy day I did see outlets if you are looking to do some work. We didn't wait too long for our drinks so the service is really great and the workers are all super nice! Theres also a water refill station + cups you can get at the front! I'm glad I tried it and if I happen to be walking around that area again I might stop by but I unfortunately won't be going out of my way to get this again

The line may look intimidating at first, but it's mostly because orders take a while to prepare rather than an overwhelming number of customers. If you visit, make sure you have plenty of time and don't mind being in a crowded space. The drinks were good overall, but definitely on the sweeter side for my taste. I'd recommend asking for less sugar or using an unsweetened oat milk option if available, since even the milk seemed to add quite a bit of sweetness. One thing that was concerning was the seating. One of the chairs at our table was already damaged, and a member of our group unexpectedly fell backward when it gave out. Thankfully no one was seriously hurt, but it was a scary experience. We showed the staff that the chair had already been broken. The chairs are quite small and delicate, so I'd suggest checking your seat before sitting down and being a little cautious. Overall, it's a nice spot if you're looking for a cute café and don't mind waiting, but I'd recommend visiting during a less busy time and customizing your drink if you prefer it less sweet.

Cute coffee shop that seems like a good place to get some work done. It's not that big overall but there was some seating both inside and outside. I honestly wanted to like this place more because I've seen it all over Instagram and it looked really good, but I left feeling a little disappointed. I ordered the Spanish latte and the Royal milk tea, and both were just okay. Not bad, but nothing really stood out. Was eating lunch in the plaza so stopped here for matcha. The inside is pretty small with very little seating space. They have some tables outside with umbrellas. We waited in line for about 10 min to order and then another 10 min for the drinks. I got the double matcha ($7) which tasted pretty authentic. The cup size is decent for this price. The matcha foam was nice and creamy. read more

You can tell when matcha drink is going to be good based on the color of the drink. And yes, the color was beautiful! The matcha here was very good. My friend got the blueberry latte and she really liked hers too! This place is such a cute place to play catch up with a friend. And the service here is pretty quick. read more

SOOO good and refreshing!! I did reduce my sweetness which was perfect. The staff moves pretty quickly and they're efficient with all their drinks. There are a few seats indoors for people who want to study or work from there. I've had a few of their drinks and all are pretty good. read more
Super good!! The matcha isn't as strong as I would like but still pretty good. Their cream is super tasty and creamy which enhances the flavor, complimented by the mango at the bottom. Their mango isn't overly sweet and pairs well with the cream and matcha. Service was very quick and I didn't have to wait very long. The place is cozy with some outdoor seating in the front. Very good and will be coming back in the future. read more

Probably one of my favorite strawberry matcha lattes in the OC area! Their strawberry compote isn't a syrup, it's made from strawberries. You can really taste the difference. I'll be back! read more

Omg I am so sad this is nowhere near where I live this place was incredible!! I came by with a friend while on a road trip and we both loved our drinks. There is free plaza parking available and limited indoor seating. Service was polite and quick. Banana pudding matcha 5/5, I savored this over the next two hours of our drive omg, this was very delicious and I loved the blend of the more bitter matcha with the sweet banana pudding! Strawberry matcha 4/5, my friend got this and enjoyed it but I did think that the strawberry overpowered the matcha read more
Came here for a drink on a Saturday afternoon and although all the tables were taken, there was no line and the drinks came out really quickly. I ordered the Island Ube and the Lotus Einspänner--both were really yummy! My favorite was definitely the Island Ube. The flavors came together so well, especially with the hint of macadamia nut and coconut. It was super refreshing. Next time, I might add a shot of espresso for a little caffeine kick. I'll definitely be coming back to try more of their drinks! read more

Okay first timer here! That was DELISH. We ordered the egg coffee for some added protein and we also got the lemonade matcha. Servers were patient because I rushed there from work before catching a movie right after. Ambience is nice, there are 3 tables to sit and sip, they also sell food! Febe is quickly becoming one of my favorite regular coffee shops. We've visited both of their locations, and the only major difference is space and parking. As far as we could tell, the taste and quality are consistent! My personal favorite is the Sea Salt Nutty. The taste reminds me more of mazapán, and its perfectly creamy! My girlfriend prefers their matcha, with the banana pudding as her favorite. Everyone who works there is sweet and genuine. My first time, the barista offered me a small sample of the Sea Salt Nutty cream top to see if I'd like it. Parking at the Irvine location is a bit rough, so give yourself enough time. Spaces are small! Not Febe's fault, just a heads up. read more
I finally got to try this place out! This might be my go to matcha spot if I'm ever around the area. I decided to get the mango matcha and it did not disappoint! I recommend lowering the sugar level if getting this drink since the mango is sweet! However, I enjoyed that the drink did not skip out on the mango flavor since there's mango puree at the bottom and mango cream on top. They had limited seating inside and outside but they were both full when my friend and I came. I'll be back and can't wait to try their other drinks. read more

I always make sure to stop by here and grab their banana pudding matcha when I'm in Irvine or pass by since my obsession with chasing the best banana matchas and... this is one of em. Fresh banana slices on top, super creamy pudding, beautifully crushed wafers, great matcha like ugh... I can't ask for anything better.... read more

I was craving a hojicha and had a friend recommend this spot. I thought the hojicha latte could have been stronger and creamier, it tasted a little watered down. I also tried the black sesame hojicha, which had a nice nutty flavor. A small complaint I had about the service was that when I went to the counter to get my drinks, they were so full and did not have a lid on yet. When I tried to put a lid, it spilled all over the counter because it was so full. While I hate to complain about getting more, the inconvenience was not worth it. There is a some interior seating, and I saw a few people on their laptops studying and working. read more
My friend and I stopped here for some matcha to sip on before our commute to LA for a day trip. I was eyeing the pandan matcha, and she got the corn matcha. Since the pandan matcha could be made dairy free (no milk in the pandan syrup), I ordered it with oat milk. My friend asked if they had 2% milk, and the cashier confirmed it, so that's what she got in her corn matcha. The lattes were creamy, smooth and not too sweet, thanks to my friend's reminder to request only 50% sweetness. read more

Won't be coming back. $8.50 for ice! Took about 2 sips and half the ube matcha drink is gone. The drink is decent but not worth the cost. $7 +$.50 oat +$1 tip for a cup full of ice and about 4oz of drinks. read more

Is the matcha really bitter? Or does the cream balance the flavor out? Trying to avoid getting the drink with full sweetness because I don't know what added sugar is used.
