Came here for a drink on a Saturday afternoon and although all the tables were taken, there was no line and the drinks came out really quickly. I ordered the Island Ube and the Lotus Einspänner--both were really yummy! My favorite was definitely the Island Ube. The flavors came together so well, especially with the hint of macadamia nut and coconut. It was super refreshing. Next time, I might add a shot of espresso for a little caffeine kick. I'll definitely be coming back to try more of their drinks!

It was a cute little matcha spot that I wanted to try. They were kind and came out with my order quick. I ordered a double matcha 30% sweet and a cold brew. The double matcha was good quality and satisfying. The cream top wasn't as thick as I prefer but it was still good and blended well into the drink. Overall a good matcha. I will definitely be back to try the banana pudding matcha (looked delicious).

Solid Matcha spot, they have a seats and WiFi so definitely a cozy cafe to work on homework or just chill. The workers greeted us with smiles and the matcha itself was good, not bad quality by any means. I'm visiting my cousin here in Irvine and she recommended this spot, and it does not disappoint

Okay first timer here! That was DELISH. We ordered the egg coffee for some added protein and we also got the lemonade matcha. Servers were patient because I rushed there from work before catching a movie right after. Ambience is nice, there are 3 tables to sit and sip, they also sell food! Bathroom is available for customers as well :)

Feel like their matcha is the best in OC! Their strawberry and mango matcha is killer!!!

Sorry my phone didn't drink first but this matcha was so good!! The cream top was nice and thick and the matcha had good flavor. Will definitely be back to try some of their coffee drinks as well

Omg I am so sad this is nowhere near where I live this place was incredible!! I came by with a friend while on a road trip and we both loved our drinks. There is free plaza parking available and limited indoor seating. Service was polite and quick. Banana pudding matcha 5/5, I savored this over the next two hours of our drive omg, this was very delicious and I loved the blend of the more bitter matcha with the sweet banana pudding! Strawberry matcha 4/5, my friend got this and enjoyed it but I did think that the strawberry overpowered the matcha

Black sesame hojicha and hojicha latte

I was craving a hojicha and had a friend recommend this spot. I thought the hojicha latte could have been stronger and creamier, it tasted a little watered down. I also tried the black sesame hojicha, which had a nice nutty flavor. A small complaint I had about the service was that when I went to the counter to get my drinks, they were so full and did not have a lid on yet. When I tried to put a lid, it spilled all over the counter because it was so full. While I hate to complain about getting more, the inconvenience was not worth it. There is a some interior seating, and I saw a few people on their laptops studying and working.

I finally got to try this place out! This might be my go to matcha spot if I'm ever around the area. I decided to get the mango matcha and it did not disappoint! I recommend lowering the sugar level if getting this drink since the mango is sweet! However, I enjoyed that the drink did not skip out on the mango flavor since there's mango puree at the bottom and mango cream on top. They had limited seating inside and outside but they were both full when my friend and I came. I'll be back and can't wait to try their other drinks.

The Mango Matcha and Blueberry Matcha was so good. Both alone are worth coming back. The guy who took our order was friendly and welcoming. Everything about the drinks were great. Not too much ice nor too much cream etc. This location is pretty small with limited seating so on busy days I can see it being overcrowded. Overall solid matcha cafe in oc.

Banana pudding, Matcha latte with almond milk

Decent seating for a small café with complementary water, I did not really notice any outlets Try the banana pudding Matcha latte with almond milk and a quarter sweetness. They're actually not overly sweet so I would probably would adjust this to more 50 or 75% sweetness next time. The macho was definitely strong with a bitter after tone They do have a fruit one restroom and Wi-Fi. This is a great place to study. Hang out and chill because there are several outside tables as well. This place does get busy, but they are pretty quick on completing the orders And they even have their branded stickers at the front if you want one

Corn matcha and Island ube

Needed some caffeine before driving down to San Diego, so I stopped by Febe Coffee, a cute little neighborhood cafe. There was plenty of parking and seating both inside and outside. If you wanted to study, there are also outlets inside for your devices. I also like how bright it is in here since there is a lot of natural light from the windows. The staff was very nice and open to offering suggestions on what to order. I was stuck between two drinks- corn matcha and island ube. So, I got both to try.. The corn matcha was my favorite of the two. The corn flavor was subtle but meshed well with the matcha. Neither flavor overpowered the other. The island ube has an ube/macademia flavor and matcha foam, so it sounds really yum. However, I thought it was okay. There are plenty of different matcha and other latte options. As for the next time I'm here, I want to try their Lotus einspanner! So, I will definitely be back in the near future!

Came on a Saturday around 1 pm and there was a short line to order. Parking was a bit difficult in the lot. We ordered 3 drinks: -Banana pudding matcha (4.5/5): banana cream was sweet and creamy, a little strong and artificial tasting but mixed well with the smooth matcha. A little too much cream -Double matcha (4/5): matcha cream was strong but a little sweet for me -Lotus einspanner (5/5): tasty and nicely sweet, biscoff cream really tasted like biscoff! Coffee is smooth and not overly strong They were quite busy but drinks came out after a short wait. Not that much indoor and outdoor seating. I would come back to try their other drinks!

There were about 3 people ahead of me in line and a few waiting for drinks, but I was able to order and get my drink in around 10 minutes. Staff was very friendly and checked in with us while waiting in line! I ordered the Matcha Two, which comes as a matcha latte topped with salted matcha vanilla cream foam. The foam was velvety and creamy. The matcha had a smooth, earthy flavor with subtle sweetness. Oatmilk was the default choice, and while I usually think oatmilk can overpower matcha, it worked well in this drink. It is a little pricey for 1 drink, but that also seems to be the norm these days for specialty drinks. This is more of a grab-and-go spot than a place to hang out. There's no seating, just a bench inside, and everyone waited outside since the interior is on the smaller side. Parking was easy when I went. Overall, a pleasant experience for a yummy matcha drink, and I'd definitely come back to try more of their matcha menu!

Came here with some friends for Afternoon Tea on a Saturday. We made a reservation for 12:30pm. Check-in was easy and quick. Since it was raining, we were seated indoors. Our server came to explain the menu and tea choices. Unfortunately, they were out of some teas, but they have a seasonal tea menu to make up for it. There were four of us and we all got the Afternoon Tea set. The teas we chose were the Coconut Milk Green Tea, Blueberry Pie Green Tea, Earl Grey Lavender, and Cherry Rose Rooibos. The teas came out first followed by the food items. We were told to let the teas steep for 4 minutes before pouring them. They were all great, but the favorite for us was the Coconut Milk Green Tea. It was creamy, smooth, and milky with a nice coconut flavor. The Blueberry Pie Green Tea tasted like a blueberry pie. We did not feel that the blueberry flavor was artificial. The Earl Grey Lavender was more Earl Grey than lavender. There might have been a subtle lavender flavor. The Cherry Rose Rooibos was surprisingly flavorful. We were able to taste both the cherry and rose. The food items were all solid. Our favorite sandwiches are the Chicken Salad and Cucumber ones. The breads for all the sandwiches were soft and fluffy, but they held up well. The scones were crunchy but not dry, and the jam was delicious. The fruit tart was mediocre. The pastry was soggy, affecting the texture of the tart. The macaron was not as chewy as others I have had in thr past, but was not too sweet. I did not try the donut so cannot comment on it. Overall, giving Morning Lavender Cafe a 4.5/5. Service is great and staff are quick and attentive. The teas were all good and most of the food is solid with exception of a couple of bites. It is a cute spot for hanging out or having an event such as a bridal shower or birthday. Would recommend to others and would return for Afternoon Tea or other items.

That kind of customer service is rare today. What stood out even more was the conversation about coffee roasting, acidity levels, and how different roasts can affect digestion. I've had issues in the past where coffee bothered my stomach, so I stop drinking it altogether, but Dice actually helped me understand the differences and guided me toward personalized better choices.
