I finally got the chance to try this spot after seeing it all over social media. Like many up and coming coffee shops in Orange County, it's located in the large ground floor atrium of a commercial building. The atrium itself has a beautiful lobby with tons of seating, although the Wi Fi isn't great. Pro tip: if you have Cox WiFi at home, you can log into a Cox WiFi hub in the lobby. The drink selection was relatively robust, though the pastry selection is limited. That said, everything we tried was clearly well made and delicious. I had the Ethiopia pour over , which was excellent, and my friend ordered a latte that was amazing. What really sets this place apart is the service. The baristas are incredibly helpful, they bring your drinks out to you in the lobby, and during our visit they were even apologetic about the latte art and foam because of the almond milk. Honestly, the drink still looked amazing regardless. One thing to keep in mind is parking. You'll need to park in the garage, and they validate for up to an hour. If you're planning to stay longer to work or catch up with someone, that could be a downside. read more

All I can say is, wow! Came on a Monday morning. It was a little difficult to find as it is in an office building. You have to get a ticket for parking, BUT luckily the coffee place validates it. Ordering was simple and quick. The shop itself is small with plenty of shared lobby/office seating scattered around the building. The coffee itself was amazing. It was not sour at all, and is on par with Kona coffee. The staff were also very friendly! Then I discovered that this was voted top 100 coffee spots in the US and it all made sense! This coffee shop is located in a corporate business office area. Interior design of this place is intricate and beautiful. Lots of places to study (with tables) or catch up. However, it is paid parking with up to 2 hours for validation. The staff were so kind and friendly and helped with recommendations. Holy smoothness! I ordered three different drinks, and all were wonderful! The star of the trio was the Korean Mugwort Matcha. My son ended up stealing my drink, because it was so good! I will order again, if I have the chance. They were out of hojicha, which is what we initially went for. Great coffee spot in Irvine in a corporate building. Love the atrium style cafes because there's plenty of seating for people to study or have business meetings around. The staff/owners of the cafe are SO NICE - they put a lot of care and attention into the customer experience and into their food/drinks. I ordered the strawberry matcha latte and it came out perfectly balance I wish they had sizes because it was that good! Not many matcha places around here are good, so I am glad I came across this place. It is in an office building and that was the only inconvenience. They do validate parking, but the space is so cool there that you'd want to stay there for longer than an hour. The service was great here. The barista walked us through the menu and made great recs. She also knew it was our first time, so gave us an extra validation ticket so we can explore for an extra hour without getting charged. Ok, these guys know quality coffee. Cassel Earth Coffee absolutely rocks. Let's start with the service. DK and the team (I forget the name of the other two guys) are so warm, friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to please. It's clear that they take pride in their craft. And the result of that? Five-star drinks. Onto the coffee. We got the hojicha, matcha, and Spanish lattes, + a cup of drip. All of the drinks are balanced, smooth, satisfying, and delicious. Quite possibly the best caffeinated beverage I've had all year.. and that's saying something since I'm about 50 lattes deep. You might assume that being located in an corporate business complex makes Cassel Earth hard to access. Errr, wrong! This place has easy parking, free validation, and enough seating to fit an army. Once you enter the parking gates, there's a ton of 20-minute to 1-hour parking spots available to visitors. After entering the Atrium's front doors, you'll want to find go straight back to find Cassel's small booth. I ordered the Pistachio oat latte, which had a leading taste of espresso.. my favorite. One of the hardest things to find in today's coffee culture is a balanced flavored latte. I find that most lattes are either too sweet or too milky. As a true espresso lover, either is my worst nightmare. To top it off, the owner is an absolute gem. Q personally delivered our drinks and asked if they were made to our preferences. I had high expectations because of the reviews, but I also didn't because of the location, it's a small counter inside a business complex.. But oh my god was this coffee incredible. Everything about this coffee screamed quality, smooth, not overly sweet, perfectly balanced, confident service. It was amazing. The drinks were pretty good, though a little on the bitter side, so I would recommend asking for extra sweetness if you don't like bitter drinks. We got the iced horchata latte and the iced Spanish latte. The drink sizes were generous. The horchata latte tasted a bit like milk tea, but I preferred the Spanish latte. In search of good espresso near our hotel, we spotted Cassel Earth on yelp and decided to give it a *shot* What a hidden gem! Located in the atrium of an office building with ample modern seating and great vibes. The owner of the shop was so kind, even at 8am in the morning having had just opened. He even came to find us outside to let us know of free validated parking, and gave us each an extra shot of espresso, on the house! You GUYS!!! If you're able to visit Castle Earth throughout the week PLEASE go. The shop is located inside what looks like (and probably is) a business tower but you definitely don't feel out of place when visiting. The architecture inside the building is incredible and the lobby area where the cafe is adjacent to is so spacious and has so many books you can grab to entertain yourself with When my partner and I walked up, we were taken aback by how the menu was rather minimalistic but it was also rather refreshing. A lot of cafes will do what they can to bring extravagant drinks which is not a bad thing at all! It was just nice to stroll over and not be too overwhelmed by all the different options. You can always personalize your drink as much as you'd like, which is nice! I got a coffee based drink while my partner got a matcha one and the both of us loved each other's drinks! My partner is not a coffee drinker by any means but he ended up actually really enjoying the drink I got! The both of us were greeted right away when we walked up to the shop. Everyone that we interacted with at the coffee shop and even within the business building were kind and willing to point us in whatever direction we needed to go. My only "critique" is that the shop is only open when the building is, so during normal business hours and not on the weekends. I definitely want to visit here more often but working a corporate job makes it a little harder to visit than I'd like, but it's not enough to take away from the place at all read more

I stopped by for a quick matcha run with my friend and we were pleasantly surprised by the inside of the building. The Atrium building is beautiful and spacious inside with lots of seating. The shop is located right in between a restaurant and a barber shop. For their menu, they have a nice selection of different coffee, matcha, and tea drinks. I love cassel earth coffee and such a convenient spot for those working around the area. First can we compliment the wonderful service here. The two employees I commonly see (I think they own the spot) are so friendly and welcoming. They make recommendations and seem to know many of their customers. I have already been a few times and each time they joyfully take orders and give coffee advice, I LOVE IT. I also think it's adorable how they have loyalty customers with drinks named after them:) more than that the drinks themselves are amazing. Banana latte: I think a good banana latte is hard to achieve. It's a settle taste in most and can be easily dominated by the milk type of the espresso itself. But I don't think cassel earth has this problem. Their banana latte is refreshing with a great summer flavor. Strawberry latte: the strawberry latte is also a growing popular flavor and I was an immediate fan. I am unsure how they make this beautiful drink, but it's so good.
