Fantastic hidden gem! Found this place on social media and decided to give it a try during my workday. I got the agave latte and it was perfection, couldn't ask for a better latte. The cashier was very personable and kind as well. Can't forget the seating are too, which was quite aesthetically pleasing. The only drawback to this place that's keeping it from being perfect is its accessibility. I believe they only had 1 hr of validated parking. I understand that the parking policy may not be in their control but I truly believe that a longer parking validation timeframe would make this place more worthwhile. read more

Found CASSEL EARTH COFFEE on Yelp and was curious to try it because of all their reviews and menu options. However, I was skeptical because it's located in a big office building, but I was so pleasantly surprised. I ordered an iced decaf banana latte, which is the drink that drew me to this place, and it was absolutely delicious. Definitely my favorite iced banana latte! I love that they truly care about their craft. I initially ordered my drink with almond milk, but the barista highly recommended oat milk, as it would go better with my drink. She also showed me the best way to enjoy the coffee -- sip first before mixing. I'm in Irvine once a week, and more often than not, I'm grabbing a coffee from here on my way home. My go-to is the banana latte, but I decided to venture out and try their coconut latte recently and let me tell you... I might love that just as much, if not more, than my banana latte. My drinks here are always consistent -- delicious every time. The coffee is never overpowered by the flavor or milk. This makes me comfortable to try other drinks on their menu next time. Not only is the coffee shop great, but so is the building it is located in. The shop is found on the ground floor, straight ahead as you enter. The building offers so many seating areas and has such great lighting. If I lived closer, this would definitely be my go-to place to get some work or reading done. Parking has never been an issue for me, and they do offer validation that is good for 1 hour, I believe. Overall, no notes for Cassel. I finally got the chance to try this spot after seeing it all over social media. Like many up and coming coffee shops in Orange County, it's located in the large ground floor atrium of a commercial building. The atrium itself has a beautiful lobby with tons of seating, although the Wi Fi isn't great. Pro tip: if you have Cox WiFi at home, you can log into a Cox WiFi hub in the lobby. The drink selection was relatively robust, though the pastry selection is limited. That said, everything we tried was clearly well made and delicious. I had the Ethiopia pour over , which was excellent, and my friend ordered a latte that was amazing. What really sets this place apart is the service. The baristas are incredibly helpful, they bring your drinks out to you in the lobby, and during our visit they were even apologetic about the latte art and foam because of the almond milk. Honestly, the drink still looked amazing regardless. One thing to keep in mind is parking. You'll need to park in the garage, and they validate for up to an hour. If you're planning to stay longer to work or catch up with someone, that could be a downside. read more

Such a beautiful space for a coffee shop! I think it's primarily meant for the corporate offices located in this big space but I stopped by on a Friday morning and was able to find a parking spot and get validated for an house with purchase. The line was wrong but it moved quickly. I went with the pistachio oat milk latte and a ham and cheese croissant. The latte was delicious, sweet but not too sweet and the pistachio flavor was nice, not artificial at all. The croissant was also delicious, very flaky. Once again, we found another great coffee shop! We were looking for a place to stop on our long trip, and our 12-year-old came across this spot because of the amazing reviews. He even made sure they served flat whites since his dad loves them. My son and I both ordered the matcha latte, and it was by far the best we've ever had! My husband really enjoyed his flat white as well. He says the Flat white holds up to being a signature drink! The customer service was outstanding, everyone was so friendly and welcoming. As visitors from out of town, we loved that this wasn't your typical coffee shop location. It gave the place so much character and made the experience feel even more special. All I can say is, wow! Came on a Monday morning. It was a little difficult to find as it is in an office building. You have to get a ticket for parking, BUT luckily the coffee place validates it. Ordering was simple and quick. The shop itself is small with plenty of shared lobby/office seating scattered around the building. The coffee itself was amazing. It was not sour at all, and is on par with Kona coffee. The staff were also very friendly! Then I discovered that this was voted top 100 coffee spots in the US and it all made sense! I wish I could give this place a 4.5 or a 5! We order 2 pastries, 1 banana latte iced and 1 pistachio oat milk latte! The banana latte was great at first sip but lost a little flavor once the milk was stirred in. The pistachio latte was heavier on the oat milk flavor than the pistachio. Service was fact, efficient and very kind and helpful! Staff did suggest to stay as the drink would taste better for here than to-go, but I couldn't stay. Pastries were tasty, especially the mini loaf. The surrounding atmosphere was also very welcoming. A great spot to study, work or enjoy a quiet conversation with a friend. Came back after a couple years and this place is still just as special. Q & Joy continue to bring such a warm, welcoming energy that makes you want to stay and hang out a bit longer. You can tell they genuinely care about both their craft and their community. The coffee is still consistently great--smooth, flavorful, and made with attention to detail every time. I was going to be in the area of Irvine for the day and lucky me this coffee shop came across my feed. What decided me to go was that it was rated top 100 in yelp. Since iced banana lattes have been the most popular summer drink I decided to order one myself. Probably one of the best banana lattes I have had so far. I ordered the strawberry matcha latte and it came out perfectly balance I wish they had sizes because it was that good! Not many matcha places around here are good, so I am glad I came across this place. It is in an office building and that was the only inconvenience. They do validate parking, but the space is so cool there that you'd want to stay there for longer than an hour. The service was great here. The barista walked us through the menu and made great recs. This cafe was situated in such a neat place! It was large and open with plenty of seating and it kind of was reminiscent of a food court, but elevated! The coffee was AMAZING and the worker was super nice. The only thing I would say that wasn't amazing was the parking, I'm not sure if there is anywhere else to park nearby that is free but it's paid parking but you can get it validated if you go to the cafe. It's kind of a hassle to get in there but it's well worth it ! read more

DK and the team (I forget the name of the other two guys) are so warm, friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to please. It's clear that they take pride in their craft. And the result of that? Five-star drinks. Onto the coffee. We got the hojicha, matcha, and Spanish lattes, + a cup of drip. All of the drinks are balanced, smooth, satisfying, and delicious. I'm taking top-tier caffeine here. Interesting location inside a business park. But the area is modern, clean, and cozy. Great spot to kill a few hours reading or working. Quite possibly the best caffeinated beverage I've had all year.. and that's saying something since I'm about 50 lattes deep. You might assume that being located in an corporate business complex makes Cassel Earth hard to access. Errr, wrong! This place has easy parking, free validation, and enough seating to fit an army. Once you enter the parking gates, there's a ton of 20-minute to 1-hour parking spots available to visitors. After entering the Atrium's front doors, you'll want to find go straight back to find Cassel's small booth. I ordered the Pistachio oat latte, which had a leading taste of espresso.. my favorite. One of the hardest things to find in today's coffee culture is a balanced flavored latte. I find that most lattes are either too sweet or too milky. As a true espresso lover, either is my worst nightmare. To top it off, the owner is an absolute gem. Q personally delivered our drinks and asked if they were made to our preferences. Located in the atrium of an office building with ample modern seating and great vibes. The owner of the shop was so kind, even at 8am in the morning having had just opened. He even came to find us outside to let us know of free validated parking, and gave us each an extra shot of espresso, on the house!
