    Garlic Cheese
    Cat B.

Came by this location during my visit to the Irvine Spectrum today. Employee that helped me out was very friendly and shared with me during my purchase that they had a buy 3 get one free but I decided to only get 2 garlic cheese pastries. I went in looking for cheese rolls but there weren't any. Such a shame.

I normally LOVE this place but recently I purchased 5 cream filled pastry's and was disappointed that only one was filled, the rest had a minimal amount of cream :( so sad I wasted $ on non filled pastries. Everything always tastes good and are normally super filled. Hoping this was a one off.

    New Strawberry Delights

Decent selection of bakery goods, got the cheese hot dog and egg tarts as well as the two new Strawberry drinks. The cheese dog was okay, it's a bit on the saltier end, and the egg tarts were crumbly. The strawberry de leche drink was a bit too sweet and the sea salt cream strawberry green tea was decent. The drinks took a bit to be prepared, and we had to wait a bit to be served with the menu tv screen still turned off and had to be turned back on. They also didn't have the new bunny pin promo that was supposed to available with the purchase of 2 strawberry drinks so we ended up getting the bear pin. A bit sad that the food and drinks weren't the greatest. There's also no seating area inside the store, there's just enough space for a line, but there are some outdoor shared seating for the plaza. There are also two kiosks are the left side that are exclusive for ordering drinks only.

Understaffed means greedy ownership! This place used to have three beverage baristas but now there is one poor overworked neglected soul. I feel so sorry for how far this place has fallen. Visit somewhere else where they respect their employees!

Fresh. Tasty. Affordable. Pastries and Coffee. Cakes too. The goods here always hit the spot. There's so many options. I like to get the berry bun, milk bun, brioche bread, mochi egg tart. They've got new ish stuff too like coffee cruffin and $5 sandwiches they can't heat up for you. Grab a tray and tongs and get to stepping of picking out your yummy items. For drinks, I recommend hot rose milk tea, iced jasmine tea, and ice sea salt caramel coffee. Service is quick and can order at drink kiosk too. Download the app if you want to start collecting points for freebies.

Left to Right: hot Cheese Dog, Pork Sung Bun, Spicy Sausage Bun

I grew up with 85°C Bakery, and it's still a household staple for us some weeks. It's one of those reliable spots that never fully leaves your rotation. My go-to buns are always the hot dog bun (even though it's definitely shrunk in size over the years) and the spicy sausage bun, which still delivers on flavor and has a nice kick. The pork sung bun is another favorite, the bun is slightly sweet and fluffy, and the savory pork floss on top balances it out perfectly. One small downside is the store layout, which makes it a bit difficult to browse and decide on items without already being in line. That said, the line usually moves quickly, so it's not a huge issue. Overall, still a comforting and dependable bakery that I'll continue coming back to for my favorites.

    Sea salt matcha latte

Was in the plaza for dinner and stopped by after for a drink. Using the kiosk by the wall, I got the sea salt matcha latte. It was quick and easy to order and there was only a short 5 min wait. The drink was good! No complaints.

The place is clean and in a very busy plaza. I was surprised by the limited variety of sweet bread they had. They had the same bread displayed on a few trays. we got 2 pastries a loaf of bread, cookies and caramel pudding. The sweets were very tasty.

I have often come to this location to get my fresh bread and buns and this location doesn't disappoint. Located at Diamond Jamboree plaza with plenty of parking in the front of this store. Since this is a popular plaza there may be issues finding parking but just be patient as there is a lot to see. At this visit, I got their sea salt caramel coffee drink and it was delicious. There was a separate kiosk to order drinks and it is the smart way to bypass all the customers that are purchasing fresh pastries. Past visit experience were also good. You definitely have to come early during the day to get the best selection and variety of fresh pastries. Otherwise, fi you come during the afternoon there will be less options to choose from. Friendly staff and still quite busy througout the day. I have notices that some of their pastries have gone up in price so thats a bummer.

85 Degrees is a Taiwanese bakery chain that has locations across the US in the Pacific Northwest, Nevada, Texas, Illinois, and New York. I love Taiwanese desserts and baked goods, so whenever I see a 85 Degrees, I always make it a point to take a look inside. This particular location in Irvine is on the smaller side, with no seating areas available aside from several chairs lined up along the wall/walkway leading to the bathroom hallway. Despite this, they manage to carry all of the usual breads, baked goods, and desserts in an organized manner. I ordered the Pork Song Bun and the Half Moon breads to-go. The flavors were great and same as always. Their quality control across all of their stores are amazing! Overall, I love 85 Degrees and this location provided the same great quality I have grown to love. The only thing I would want would be an interior seating area in this store, but 7 Leaves in the same complex offers a place to sit and work if you need it. :)

Went in to pick up my usual marble taro bun, saw that they had new cream buns (at least they are new to me!) The Hokkaido cream bun is so airy, the flavor is super mild but, the texture is everything. Same goes for the mango cream, it has these little round mango cookie bits on the outside, the cream is a bit more substantial than the Hokkaido but it's still super light and airy. Make sure to check these new items out!

Really enjoyed this place! The drinks have a very pleasant, well-balanced flavor and everything tastes fresh and high quality. The service was great -- fast and efficient, with no waiting time. Overall a very smooth and enjoyable experience. Will definitely be back!

Delicious Hawaiian chicken bun and lemon black tea
    Keisha B.

The choices were too much for a 1st timer, ended up selecting a weird bun, Hawaiian chicken bun. It was quite tasty although I couldn't separate the tastes...pineapple, chicken, tomato sauce and cheese. It would have been amazing if it was warmed.

I had expected the business to be in a more high volume area, however a benefit of their corner spot was that the parking lot had plenty of spaces. There's no indoor seating, but outdoor tables were set up along the north and east perimeters of the building. I was by myself at this latest visit, and it was close to the end of the day so the inventory was quite depleted. There was no line at all which was not a surprise. The famous Strawberry Croissants and prepackaged items were on refrigerated display to the left when you walked in. As the service counter rounded a corner, there were more fresh baked goods on display before you reached a register. Across from the registers were shelves containing bags of fresh bread products. I bought a Strawberry Croissant, a Sticky Bun, a Ham and Cheese Croissant, and an Apple Croissant. The quality of the pastry dough was very good, and I could see why the Strawberry Croissant was a favorite with the customers. The croissants were light and flakey, and the powdered sugar added a delicate topping to the strawberry version. If I were to rate on just the Strawberry Croissant, then it would be five stars. My overall rating was downgraded because of the customer traffic flow. The lines can be optimized so that if you wanted to buy a six-pack of the Strawberry Croissants and/or anything prepackaged, then a separate queue should be arranged for those customers. The cafeteria trays were of limited use if you were not getting a large number of items. As you advanced in the queue, other products had to be requested from a worker behind the counter and then those were not placed on the tray. Ultimately, I think they can configure the operation to more efficiently handle the higher volume periods of the day.

Slightly crisp outside and soft inside (note: even softer if taken home and warmed up). The chocolate chip was crammed full of chips and the walnuts were in tiny bits to keep the cookie's texture soft. The chocolate cookie was also enormous and had an abundance of peanut butter chips. The lady working there packed it up nicely in a to go box and we got some cookies (regular ones and almond crisp ones). It's a bit sweet, but they're dessert pastries so that makes sense. Goes great with a brewed cup of tea. Croffle had a nice semi-chewy texture and the tiramisu flavor added a bit of a coffee taste to it. Good balance of the cream and croffle.
