Honeymee is located in a busy shopping plaza as it's surrounding by lots of other businesses. They have a couple of tables for indoor seating. I ordered the honeymee which is some of their ice cream with a chunk of honeycomb. It was a nice little sweet treat, I'd like to come back and try some of their other flavors.
I am such a sucker for milk ice cream and it's my favorite ice cream flavor. Such a simple flavor but is so delicious when it's done well! There used to be a Honeymee near where I'm from but they closed down so I haven't had it in years. It was just as good as I remembered if not better! I got the darling which is just a plain milk ice cream. It was so amazing that I finished the entire thing and I never usually finish my ice cream because I get too full but I literally couldn't stop eating. My friends and I sat inside, it's really bright and there were a few small tables. It's right next to Heytea and the best part is that it's just as good but there's never a line!
it's been awhile since i've had honeymee, so i was impressed that the soft serve was still really good! they have added on a lot of new flavors since i've been, and i tried out the yuzu affogato which was a vanilla based soft serve topped with a yuzu syrup and had corn flakes on the bottom. the tartness of the yuzu paired really well with the sweet vanilla, and the corn flakes added a nice crunch! this was a really good and balanced sweet treat, and definitely big enough to share it was decently crowded for a random tuesday evening, but service was really quick and efficient. there are a few tables and chairs to sit and eat, but it fills up pretty quickly since the shop is kinda small.
I love Honeymee! It has been consistent the past few years and I feel like the price is reasonable for what you get. My favorite ice creams are the yuzu, the carmel, and the plain. I think that it is worth it after a filling meal. There are usually younger people running it, but they are very polite.
My experience was good this time. There was a nice, efficient lady working at the counter. The store is clean with few tables and chairs as before. Our ice cream came out fast. They also added tons of flavors that somehow weren't available on delivery apps. I've ordered through delivery apps a couple of times from this location but they only show sttandard flavors. Their ice cream is still as nice and not too sweet. I ordered the Dalgona flavor this time, which tasted like coffee chips on the milk ice cream with some sort of caramel/ honey swirl. It was good but not as special as I had thought. Con: no Loyalty card was suggested so I didn't accumulate any points for these ice cream.
We came around 8PM debating on what sweet treat to get in the area and chose here! There was a kiosk for you to order or you could order with the cashier. There was also limited seating indoors so more so a grab and go situation if there aren't seats available. We ordered the matcha honeymee and the brown sugar boba ice cream. Both were really delicious although would have loved if the syrups were more infused in the ice cream.

I randomly came across this location last week and am happy to report that the soft serve is still the same - silky smooth and not too sweet, which is the perfect base for the honey or any other toppings. This time, I actually gave the yuzu affogato a try. The yuzu sauce was a little overpowering and quite sweet. After trying a few items over the years, the honeycomb soft serve is still my personal #1. This location is quite small with a few seatings, but bright and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. :)
Honeymee is a very popular ice cream chain, and this spot in Irvine has been a staple for years. I came recently and was surprised to find it pretty empty. The service was still fast and friendly. I enjoyed the space and cleanliness of the place. The ice cream also remains delicious, although it is definitely quite pricey for the amount of ice cream you are getting. The honey on the ice cream is always delicious. Honeymee remains a great option, but the price has definitely made me more hesitant to get it often.
It's been a while since I last visited a Honeymee, and this trip brought back a lot of great memories. I still love that soft, smooth, and rich milk flavor. The texture is perfectly creamy without feeling too heavy. Service was fast and efficient, and everything came out just as expected. It's the kind of place that delivers consistency, which makes it easy to come back to. Definitely a spot worth revisiting when you're craving something simple and satisfying. read more

Came here because HeyTea didn't have either of the drinks I wanted to order and for nostalgia sake. I used to go to the one in Buena Park and my mom and I loved their sweetie ice cream. I ordered the lavender milkshake today because that used to be another favorite order of mine. My only minor complaint is that I'd have to echo another reviewer that the milkshake wasn't filled to the top of the cup which is a bummer especially since the drink is $7.45. While the flavor and consistency was still perfect, I hope they end up fixing their measurements so that we get what we paid for. Otherwise, they have a cute small interior with some limited seating. They also sell honey some there. Barely any wait so I got served my drink quickly. read more

HoneyMee is easily one of the best ice cream spots I've tried! Their ice cream is made from fresh milk, and you can really taste the difference -- it's smooth, rich, and not overly heavy. I walked in and was helped right away. The staff was so nice and helpful, especially since I couldn't decide what to order -- they gave great recommendations that did not disappoint. They have a great variety of options, from classic soft serve to milkshakes. I ordered the honey affogato and it was AMAZING -- the combination of coffee and honey sweetness was perfectly balanced. Not too bitter, not too sweet... just right.I also tried my son's Oreo milkshake and wow, it was so good -- creamy, indulgent, and packed with flavor. Definitely a spot I'll keep coming back to whenever I'm craving something sweet! read more

Great little spot for a refreshing dessert wonderful customer service nice little cozy atmosphere nice ambience presentation was great smooth silky ice cream. Very delicious drizzled with honey. No complaints thank you guys. Can't wait to come back and try more on the menu. 10 / 10 read more

I am absolutely obsessed with this place. My go to's are the honey comb matcha soft serve and the salted chocolate milkshake. This place offers so many options. The place is always clean and staff are courteous. It's always a must dessert spot when I'm in Irvine! read more

so good!! Super refreshing and not too sweet, and the milk ice cream on top was so yum! There are so many options on the menu to choose from. Everything came out so quickly, and the workers were so sweet! Everything about this place is super cute and cozy :) read more

Have been wanting to try Honeymee for forever and it was so good! I got their plain cream with honey and additional corn chips. Getting the honey was definitely the right move--it's thick and adds a perfect flavor to the plain ice cream, which is also super thick. I added corn chips however there weren't very many, so I didn't really think that was worth it. Note that they also leave the middle pretty hollow. This location was super small with only 2 tables inside, service was really fast though. Overall I really liked the taste of this place and will be back if craving thick ice cream! read more

First time here! I came here for this Sweetie. I heard how good this place was, and so I spontaneously wanted to give it a try since I live very close to this place. The honey and ice cream was sooo delicious! I couldn't stop eating it until it was a gone. The lines was confusing because it has a busy line for HeyTea and then there was a line out the door for Honeymee, but no idea why it took so long just to order. I went inside and notice people were kinda chilling near the kiosk, so others outside waiting really have no idea that people inside were holding up the line. I suggest staff try to monitor this, to promote sales if customers are going to be making it a issue of letting other customers from ordering. I was almost discouraged to wait in line for ice cream, but glad I had walked in and talked to staff and she helped me right away. It was busy inside. Staff that helped me right away was so sweet and made me happy when I got my treat immediately. That was great first time experience and I will be inviting my friends to come here with me. read more
One of the best ice cream places in town. Light and delicious. Got the waffle cone this time which was a nice change from the darling in the cup. I wish they had more locations service is always good, friendly, and quick. read more
Love that the cone came with a stopper! That was very cool and very picture worthy. The space is very small and packed but outside was fresh enough to wait. It doesn't take too long to wait for your order even when packed. They have the open of register or you can order on a kiosk. read more

I like the ice cream here. It's surprisingly good for a chain. I would say it's close to soft serve. I think their honey comb ice cream was way too sweet and I could probably only eat half. I did end up finding a surprisingly good flavor though which is the passionfruit. A good mixture of tart, texture, sour that goes with the soft serve was nice. I don't think I'm ever going to get the honey comb one though. read more

I am a honeymee fiend. Specifically for their milkshakes. The flavors of the milkshake hit spot on. The strawberry shake tastes exactly like strawberry ice cream, and cookies and cream tastes like an Oreo McFlurry. Though the milkshakes are very sweet, they have a delicious taste and interesting texture that distinguishes honeymee from other restaurants that sell fraud shakes. Honeymee finds the perfect balance between milk, ice, and flavor. I aspire to try every single milkshake flavor by the end of the year. They don't call me the honeymee milkshake man for no reason. read more

It's a really cute dessert place from the decor to the soft serve ice cream. I got the honeymee I enjoyed the milk flavor and the taste reminds me of Costco's soft serve. The honey itself was a nice hint of sweetness, the honeycomb was a bit much haha. 8/10 with honey! Without honey 9/10! The Dear Chocolate was a rich and darker chocolate drizzle bitter sweet type topped off with sea salt. 6.5/10. My husband enjoyed it though. I would definitely try out other new flavors they had like grape or passion fruit! And the matcha darling!! They are welcoming and friendly! read more
Small and quick dessert spot! Matcha affogato: 7.9/10. YUMMY! Super sweet so definitely only for people who have a sweet tooth. Milk soft serve with matcha tea and honey drizzle. Could definitely do without the honey drizzle, but the matcha flavor is very intense which balances out the sweetness a little bit. The affogato isn't too hot, so the soft serve doesn't melt right away. Perfect sweet treat for sweets lovers! read more
Was craving some ice cream and came across this cute soft serve spot! I decided to try one of their new menu items, the Chestnut Shake. Unfortunately, it didn't quite live up to expectations--the drink looked nothing like the photo, missing the drizzle around the cup, and the shake itself was much lighter in color. The texture was very melty and on the sweeter side, but the flavor was decent. Presentation: 3/10. Taste: 5/10. Employee was friendly and order came out quickly. Honeymee has one of my favorite desserts of all time. I order the matcha affogato with boba and it is a perfect 10/10 for me. The richness of the ice cream, she earthiness of the matcha, the sweetness of the honey and the perfect chew from the boba all tie into the perfect combination for me This location of Honeymee in particular doesn't have the friendliest customer service, but I do go for the sweets and not the atmosphere so it's fine either way. Honeymee has multiple locations throughout LA so give it a try! read more
The ice cream is a nice sort of sweetness that reminds you of McDonald's but flavored in a more savory manner. I really enjoyed it for its taste and texture as well as the little honeycomb they give you. I got served pretty quick upon ordering so I guess they're pretty easy to dispense so a line won't be an issue for you. Service wise it's only a self checkout sort of deal and they have all staff working on fulfillment so don't expect great customer service. The shop was pretty clean and tidy and the decor was super cute, only downside was the lack of seating inside but it was nice to take a walk around the plaza with the ice cream. Value wise it's pretty pricy too though for just soft serve so keep that in mind. I would recommend it! read more
This spot has always been a staple soft serve place for me, but this time I tried getting it to go. I have always been worried that the soft serve would melt during transport, but they pack the cup in a styrofoam container filled with ice, and my soft serve was still the perfect texture after the 20 minute drive home! The one thing I would recommend, but I'm not sure if they can do, is to get the honey on the side and pour it on right before you eat it, as it gets hardened when cooled for a long time. read more

I've been wanting to visit Honeymee for over a year now, and am happy to report that the experience actually exceeded my expectations!! The Peach Milkshake actually tasted like real peaches, and the milkiness was really kind of there but not too sweet or overpowering. The Sweetie ice cream with true milk and sourced honeycomb was truly delicious, and I love how the honey kind of hardened a bit, but not too much, because of the cold ice cream. The honey definitely tasted very high-quality, and there are lots of health properties to consuming honey, so it's awesome!! The staff were super friendly and nice and I really appreciated their gentle and uplifting hospitality... the ambiance was really clean and orderly, and the decor was mostly white-themed, I guess to match the milk theme!! I will definitely be back again to try more of the super awesome creations on their menu and see what my favorites are!! read more
