Great place to do some baking for beginners and there is no hassle of cleaning dirty dishes afterwards. It does get chaotic in the very beginning of the reservation time since everyone is crowded near the ingredients. Other than that it's pretty easy to follow the tablet for directions. Knocked a star down because half the staff look like they don't want to be there. If you ask a question they just stare and look at you like the answer is obvious before answering.

This was such a fun experience! The check in process was very easy and the staff was super friendly gave us great recommendations. Staff does a really great job keeping the stations clean for the next person to use. They have tablets that provide the ingredients, + weights with step by step instructions. Overall really great activity to try out with friends and family!

Such a fun experience! There's a bunch of different cakes / bakery items you can choose to make. I have never baked, and it was an easy experience.

Review 31/365 Day challenge Came here for a Birthday putting celebration for Harper's friend, Kiera's 11th bday 2.07.26 Pretty cool concept, learning how to bake your own cake/dessert. My daughter who was 9 needed help since done items is a bit too high for her to grab alone, luckily there was a stool she was able to use to grab some items. Her friends who she came with were 2 years older, 5th grader were able to bake majority everything by themselves by reading the instructions on iPad alone. When we got there, we were the 2nd group after a couple that looks like they are on a date. After checking in and letting the associates know which cake selections the girls wanted to make. We were assigned tables and given a basket to put out belongings in the basket to be placed under the table. An apron with a timer and an iPad for instructions of what cake we were making. We Made the Lychee Peach Cream Pie, not overly sweet & pretty yum! Pie crust wasn't soggy the next day. Loved it. Associate Lily & Chloe was really informative. Showed and pointed out where each area is at. The iPad was easy to follow directions on baking steps one by one. It's a clean and really cute nice atmosphere. This is a cool activity that I would possibly return for future events, like a mama daughter date, date night and even just because, like a re~ group activity. Lots of friends group came with their boyfriends/dates along w their group of friends. Everyone enjoyed a great time and was hands on. Located in the Culver Plaza. Lots of parking available and it's located right next to a Bank and across from "Nice to meet you, hot pot" restaurant.

Perfect date activity, even for Valentine's Day! You get to choose from a menu of adorable DIY desserts, ranging from "I've never baked before" to "I watch baking shows religiously." Pick your sweet treat, pay, and tada - everything you need is provided. You're handed a tablet with step-by-step instructions, so no stress, no guesswork, just pure baking fun. It's hands-on, interactive, and low-pressure, which makes it perfect for bonding, laughing at little mess-ups, and feeling accomplished afterward. And the grand finale? You box up your masterpiece. Take it home to admire and devour! Our Summer Guava Cake turned out so pretty and tasted lightly sweet (yay!) If you're looking for a playful, sweet, and genuinely memorable activity, save this spot for your next date.

It was a great experience! We really enjoyed the baking activity. The instructions on the iPad were straightforward and easy to follow. The cake tasted delicious, and we will definitely come back again.

I've been to homebaking day twice now and it's such a cute & fun activity to do with anyone! My bf & I made a peach oolong cake and the whole process was so easy to follow with the IPad, I felt like I was in a cooking mama game lol. I like how everything is so organized and aesthetic. Not sure how the cake will taste but have high hopes! I love the various asian flavors. 10/10 recommend :) The only downside of the visit was that it is pretty pricey for the size of the cakes, and the employees were not that friendly haha. They seemed really tired / overstimulated but I didn't get the energy and customer service that would've made the experience a lot better x

    * DIY baking studio that makes baking accessible, educational, and fun for all ages and skill levels * dessert menu is organized by difficulty and even has options for different occasions/holidays * step-by-step instructions and video demonstrations are provided on a tablet * shared space and baking equipment are clean and well-maintained * every guest/group gets their own designated work station * staff is friendly and willing to help out at any point * reservations can be easily made online or by calling in * this is currently the only location in the US 9/10

Felt right at home, baking at Home Baking Day! I love baking, but hate the mess afterwards, and this place takes that stressful clean-up away! The interior was cute and clean, and everything was clearly labeled and easy to find. There were so many options to pick from in terms of baked/non-baked goods, and ultimately went with the new Moonlit Harmony Mousse cake step by step instructions were easy to follow on their provided tablet. The entire baking process was a pleasant process, and the workers are there to help assist if needed! Definitely will have to come back to try out the other dessert options :)

Super fun and cute to do with a date or a friend. I've don't it at least 2x now. It's great for a fun day to stay cool from being outside in the heat. I recommend the lychee citrus cake! Was challenging enough and tasted really good! Had fun creating and using the Chantilly frosting too! The staff were really nice too. I will say the bathroom is not really the cleanest tho.

I really love how the instructions are easy to follow with visual reference. The staff are very kind to help us and everything was easy to navigate. Highly recommend and would come back here again!

Super cute and easy instructions to follow. Lots of kids and parents here to bake!

Super cute and easy to follow instructions. Nice date activity or parent and child activity to do together.

This is an overdue review of my experience at Home Baking Day. I came here on my birthday a couple of weeks ago and had a lovely experience! It's recommended to make a reservation through their website or call them. I went on a Sunday afternoon so it wasn't too busy. The workers give pretty clear instructions and they provide you with an iPad to follow the recipe. Everything is labeled, giving you a smooth path to baking! We made the Blueberry Layer Chiffon with Raspberry Chantilly and it turned out pretty good! Not too sweet and fluffy. It is pretty pricey but considering everything was included, it's worth the value. The cake was $74 and we paid $11 extra for each service fee ($96 total).

We began with the Aji tuna on crispy rice, topped with a delicate sliver of jalapeño and crispy shallots, a perfect balance of freshness, spice, and crunch. The second course was Stefanie's famous focaccia...one sweet and one savory. The savory version featured parmesan, her homemade bread and butter, pickles from her garden, and a touch of mustard seed. The bread, made simply with flour, water, and salt, takes two to three days to create. The sweet focaccia was equally impressive, topped with brie, honey, and a guava jam made from her own garden-grown guavas... truly special. Next came the sweet potato course, made from her garden's harvest and paired with roasted pine nuts and coconut-shaved gnocchi in brown butter. The flavors were rich yet comforting, and the presentation was artistic and thoughtful. The main course... short ribs with a stunning potato gratin, was a showstopper. The short ribs were tender and deeply flavorful, garnished with delicate edible flowers from her garden, while the gratin was layered beautifully and topped with a fragrant chimichurri. Dessert was one of the best I've ever had: a sticky toffee date cake with a caramel apple sauce made from apples in her garden, served with raw cream vanilla bean ice cream. The wine pairings, thoughtfully curated by Oscar from Sequoia Grove Winery, elevated the entire experience, from the velvety Merlot to the bold Cabernet, every sip complemented the food flawlessly. Our head chef/instructor Anthony brought great energy and charisma to the class. You could really tell he's passionate about what he does and enjoys it, which spread to the rest of the class. It was a very open environment with many of the attendees having little to no culinary experience, so we were all working on a level playing field. The class is decently interactive, with a nice balance where they do a good majority of the tedious prep work beforehand and let you do the rest (as a team of 4) with all of the nicely prepared ingredients. We also did a small crash course on cutting and mixing skills, which was appreciated. The dish we made was a really nice steak with an herb compound butter, grilled veggies, a small side salad, and a nice fruit tart (galette) for dessert. The class flowed really well and the time FLEW by. It was about two hours from start to finish, and it fun the entire time. I'd recommend to eat a little something beforehand, as you eat what you prepare at the end (after 2ish hours) and the portions are split amongst 4 people so they are a bit on the petite side. Also, I suggest putting a balloon on the directional signs in the shopping center by Dunkin' Donuts so your guests don't get lost, since it's a bit tricky to get there. If you're looking for a unique, engaging, and (most importantly) stress-free party venue, look no further! The moment we arrived, the staff was fantastic. They were incredibly friendly, professional, and had everything set up perfectly. They managed a group of twenty 9-year-olds with ease, keeping them entertained, focused, and most importantly, safe while they learned to cook. As a parent, the experience was truly seamless. The instructors handled the entire cooking lesson, kept the flow moving, and then--the biggest win of all--they took care of all the messy cleanup! I was able to relax and enjoy the celebration rather than running around managing logistics. The facility is bright, clean, and perfectly equipped for young chefs. This wasn't just a party; it was a fun, hands-on memory the kids won't stop talking about. Lil' Chef School is an absolute gem, and I highly recommend them for any birthday celebration!
