Rings
Ky-Anh H.

Soft Land Studio is an amazing place to go to for a variety of different hands on workshop activities, fun for dates! My girlfriend and I went for their silver jewelry workshop, and we both made our own rings. We had the owner helping us throughout the process, from forming the clay in the shape we wanted, to heating, buffering, and polishing! She was really helpful, especially to me since I'm not the best with arts and crafts. I loved the way our rings came out, and these are both our favorite rings. I'd highly recommend coming to Soft Land for anyone looking for fun arts and crafts projects to try hands on! We're looking to come back for their stained glass workshop in the future ^_^

What an amazing find! Thanks Instagram you made me a cool mama. We did reservation online for Decoden art workshop. Deposit was $10 each/person which they add to the total of whatever piece you end up creating. Three cons: 1) It was hard to find, the building is not what you expect it to be (not pink and kawaii). From the outside very plain...so we had no idea where we were at first. 2) There was a group that was having a birthday party and they were hogging the space, charms and super loud. I think they were just super excited because everything was super cute. But still kinda made the beginning a bit much. 3) Looked like there were only two employees handling all the workshops. The person helping us was going back and forth helping the tufting rug workshop. There had to be at over two dozen just doing the Decoden art and stained glass. My daughter and I both chose to decorate cell phone cases. We had someone help us place the whipped cream glue and she taught us how to do the frosting. She was great when she had time, but as mentioned I felt they need more employees. Overall, my daughter was super happy. She's been staring at her new cell phone case waiting for it to dry (recommended to let it cure for 3-5 days). We are definitely going to be back and hoping next trip it will be less chaotic.

If you are looking for something fun to do and learn on a day off, this is the place to look! So many fun and creative activities to choose from and great instructions to ensure you achieve what you set out to! A friend had signed us up for the rug making class a while back, so fun and challenging! We just attended one of the new silver ring making classes and it was just as rewarding and I have some new super cute jewelry to show off! Great value for the experience and physical custom items you get to take home!

Had such a cute time on a girl date making cute decoden art photo frames - they have SO many charms of all colors that are so cute. There were a lot of people here in a Saturday of all ages. It was very easy to make a reservation online. They have one room for ring making/decoden art and another room for tufting. The whole process took us about 2 hours.

Just came to Softland Studios for a birthday party and it was super cute! Large space for kids to prepare their crafts and the back area is also spacious. The kids loved all the different choices they had for their craft items as well as the beads and decorations. It also seems like looming was available which seems quite fun for adults too! Another place for kids birthday party is a major plus! Everyone there was very attentive and super friendly with the kids. The bathroom was even decorated to be cute and also kid-friendly. Even just to do crafts, would definitely come back! As for pricing, since it was a birthday party we a were invited to don't have actually numbers but the host let us know the price per child was more affordable than their competitors. Worth checking out!

What a great experience, came here as a party of 4 for a small team building event and we had so much fun candle making. First you pick your cup (2 are included in the price and then they have fancier ones to pay extra for) then you pick your wax beads, the scents and mix! You get to create your own design in the cup and then add any extra wax figure on top which includes succulents, bears, hearts and all different types of figurines. Definitely will be back soon-my husband and I want to try to the tufting and jewelry making.

I went with a friend to do decoden art here a few days ago and it was one of the most therapeutic experiences everrrr. It was my first time doing decoden, but the owner made the process so approachable and fun!! We were able to experiment with charm placement on the actual object beforehand and then practice the frosting (probably the most intimidating part) on a napkin. The selection of charms was ABUNDANT and soso cute. The charms were organized in boxes across the back wall making selection easy and smooth. The owner was so sweet and patient, she showed us the different styles of frosting we could do on a piece of napkin and gave us time to practice as well. My item (the mirror and hairbrush combination) was $28 total with the $10 deposit included in that total. All in all, I would highly recommend and will definitely be making a trip back with my friends in the future to try the other crafts as well.

I was looking for a date night activity for my hubby's birthday. I found soft land on Instagram and booked online for tufting rug. It was so fun and entertaining. Also, satisfying. You can pay extra $30 to add a person so my hubby and I made one rug together. It did take almost 5 hours to complete. You will get a lot of help and will be surprise how great your rug turn out! Definitely recommend to try :)

This studio offers multiple classes like rug tufting or jewelry making. It's great as a group activity. We did the Decoden Art which you pick an item listed and decorate it with as many charms as you can fit. The staff will help assist when needed. When we signed up, the website lists 6 ppl per session (2 hrs). But if you call ahead, they can open more spots. Up to 15 for the Decoden. You do have to sign up individually and pay a deposit of $10 per person. The deposit goes into whatever you decorate. I got the 3 small hairclips for $15. So on the day of, I paid $5. This is in a business area so there's lots of available parking.

We came in for the decoden workshop, and it was so so fun and such a cuteness overload!! From the music to the amazing assortment of items and charms, the vibes and environment were so positive, peaceful, and fun! The owner is so incredibly sweet and patient with us as well, and made it a wonderful experience. I especially really like the variety and organization of the charms, which can be different at other studios. Because it's so easy to get overwhelmed, the drawer organization makes it very easy to find something you were looking for. There are lots of items to choose from - frames to combs to mirrors to phone cases and more, and this studio has one of the best deals and value for the price I've seen! While other places might have a notable charm limit and may charge for additional charms beyond that number, I didn't notice this here, and there was such a huge array of free charms available here, that I didn't even need to get to any figurines which understandably cost extra. Also, the $10 workshop deposit was actually deducted from the total item cost (so like $38 phone case - $10 workshop deposit = $28 at the counter + tip), so it was actually such an incredible value and best deal I've seen! Definitely coming back again and would love to support. Highly recommend for a wholesome experience! Thanks for such an amazing time!

Finished rugs!

I brought my girlfriend here for her birthday as a last minute plan after our current plans had to be cancelled due to the rain. And it did NOT disappoint. The staff were incredible friendly and helpful and were gracious enough to work with us even when it was last minute. The studio and facilities were very comfy and clean and the rug tufting was so so fun for everyone! They give you 3 hours to complete your small size rug so make sure you plan accordingly! Amazing activity, amazing place, amazing staff. I would highly highly recommend and will definitely be coming back!

Had a great time here with 2 of my other friends. They had a wide selection of charms and the woman helping us was very patient and helpful! I loved being able to be creative and the whole process was relatively easy. If you work fast you can prob finish in about 30 min-1hr!

I definitely want to go back for some of the other stuff they have there. The fun part is if you're creative and come here and learn what you need you can easily replicate it at home with friends. The instructor was ok on the instruction side and amazing with everything else. I'm a teacher and I usually walk around and help or offer other methods. This one just told us pretty much what was on the pamphlet. I would have liked more engagement but it's fine we all made some good lamps. It's good to note you need to book a time online. The class is only $45 and then you pay separately for the frame -- they have different sizes and finishes. When you check in, you'll sign a form and then watch an instructional video on how to make the piece. After that, you can get your tweezers, tray and start choosing the dried flowers you'd like to use. They also have premium flowers that range from around $3 - $5 if you want something extra special. This is truly a one of a kind experience, and while some may say it's expensive, it would be even more to buy in a store. Plus, you're paying for the instruction, memories, materials and art that lasts a lifetime!

A perfect event for a team building or family event. There were a few kids in the class that looked like they were having fun. The instructions were very clear, and the timing was perfect. It's in a big mall so plenty to do while we wait for that. Would do again!

Theres some space for glasses, not really food and cubbies to put your stuff. I'd recommend only a drink as you'd want more space for paint. Theres tvs around the middle so you can see the instructor live paint and the bar is very friendly/able to keep a tab open. They have multiple breaks where you can order drinks. You pay and reserve the class online, the drinks are not! Included but you don't need to buy drinks (added on at the bar). The only caveat is the class does seem to go quite fast, you do get time after the instruction ends to fix at your own pace and they're lovely enough to offer to take pictures. However, if you're a perfectionist you should move on to the next time steps because they will move on. Essentially you're supposed to paint WITH the instructor and not after instruction to keep up ( as paint needs to dry and stuff) It's acrylic and they provide the basic colors plus more tubes if you'd like other colors. No extra brushes, but extra paper towels offered and a big sink where they have a special scrub to get paint off your hands and you can change out the water. They also sell some instructor paintings for charity! Our instructor also does set designs for knotts scary farm so his tree was obviously amazing. Overall recommend taking a look at their site and seeing which paintings you like :) just be aware it goes fast and the instructors painting will most likely look better lol.
