The distribution of employees was very poor and dissipated, with workers being huddled up in corners, though this is expected from a corporate company. Ali was very incompetent, I asked repeatedly for help, just for him to forget. We spent 5 minutes trying to find the right key for the security glass. I will say, I received good service from Andrew!! No glaze of course, but he hooked up me up with free posca markers.

Well, Michaels in Tustin really left me hanging - literally! I went in to grab some yarn for my girlfriend ' blanket project, but I couldn't find a single employee to help me out. The self-checkout was a nightmare, and when We finally managed to ask a question, We got the stink eye from the cashier. Looks like my girl starting to think I'll never get that blanket - maybe She just have to knit one out of pure frustration instead. This place is a yarn-tastrophe!

Michaels is not your granny's craft shop. They have almost everything you could want to work with hobby/craft wise. The associates were helpful. This Michaels has lots of items in stock. They also have plenty of things on sale. I recommend this Michaels. Only downside, the parking is difficult in this plaza.

The store could use a remodel, but the staff was friendly. Plenty of easy parking and they were not busy. Online order pick up is a breeze.

Today, I brought my son and he really enjoyed how his project turned out!! I'm already trying to plan to bring my Daughter-in-Law - who lives out of state - when they come out for a visit! This is one of those projects you go in thinking, 'Oh my! Am I gonna be able to do this?' ... then you walk out with an amazing piece of art that you created. And if you have any issues while you're working on your project, either FiFi or her assistant are walking around offering any help you need! They also offer other classes in the next room over - I'll have to check it out and see what other classes I can try. But for now, I really enjoy this Rug Tufting class!! Can't wait to come back to do another one!!

I enjoyed that you could bring in an idea of your own design & get a custom template. If you know what design you want, have photos to show of your inspo with different variations in case it might be a bit complicated for first timers. Simple designs are encouraged & you can get inspo from the wall of previous work in the work room. It's very much worth the price point since you get a fair amount of freedom with your design & glass colors. I would come back to make another one or try a ring workshop! There's ample parking and so many activity options to choose from. Definitely make a reservation beforehand!

I would say you are paying more for the supplies than the class itself. The place is very beautiful and they have so much there and it looks like they do more than just the lamps. I definitely want to go back for some of the other stuff they have there. The fun part is if you're creative and come here and learn what you need you can easily replicate it at home with friends. The instructor was ok on the instruction side and amazing with everything else. I'm a teacher and I usually walk around and help or offer other methods. This one just told us pretty much what was on the pamphlet. I would have liked more engagement but it's fine we all made some good lamps. Overall the experience was fun, the tea was delicious and we had a good time making our lamps then drinks being them at home

This is NOT for in-store experience. I mainly wanted to highlight that they have a take-home option…read morewhere you buy your ceramic for the price listed and the take home kit (I think it's $12?) which includes brushes and I believe 5 paints. We did this for our girl's day and while it can be initially more on the expensive side, we were able to paint at least 2-3 ceramics each. We did buy more paint than what was included in the take home kit because we wanted more colors, but if you plan your colors meticulously then the original amount you're given is more than enough to paint 1 ceramic each. The glazing is covered once you pay for the kit and ceramics and if you have leftover paint and want to go back to buy more ceramics, you don't need to pay extra for any of the glazing. I much prefer this than going in-store if you are doing a group activity. You can take your time painting and it's always nice to be able to do what you want in the comfort of your home. This is perfect for birthdays, girl's night or even just something to do with friends.

Sister and I each made plates, while my brother in law made a piggy bank. Staff was attentive, and we were able to get a table right away walking in on a Monday night. Still a decent amount of people in there for a weekday. Again, staff was attentive, especially when it came to refilling paints, as necessary. They kept everything organized and clean, and we will get to pick up our creations a week from painting. Hadn't been in years, but reminder it's a fun low key activity.

An overdue review based on the pottery wheel class and glazing option experience. For reservations,…read moreI made it for two people through their website. This was for a public class on a Saturday at around 4:30 PM. The class consisted of 8 people max and seemed to be all couples. All of the equipment was prepared like an apron, clay, pottery wheel, etc. We had an instructor that was very knowledgeable and explained everything from start to finish. Complex technicals were explained in layman's terms. We were given enough clay to create 3 pieces but could keep up to two. The instructor also frequently went around to check everyone's pieces and was able to troubleshoot as needed. It was a fun experience but be very prepared to get your hands dirty! The glazing portion was separate from the class. There was no reservation needed for that so I did it the same day that I went to see the ceramics. For parking, street parking could be hit or miss depending on the time. I'd recommend coming early to have ample time to find parking. Overall, I enjoyed the experience enough. It could have been perfect if the staff here remembered to follow up on when the ceramics were ready for pickup. I am happy with the end result though.

They couldn't find it under either. Jennifer, the owner messaged me on the side and offered studio credit for when we come back to glaze. I appreciate that offer since my bf and I had to and have to coordinate this date to come to the studio. I live around half an hour away and he lives over an hour away, which made it that much more disappointing when we drove all the ways last time only to be told it was lost. I messaged and asked to see if it was possible to have our pottery ready this time for when we came to glaze to prevent further mishap. They were kind and had our pottery ready for when we head back. I was happy with how our pottery turned out. It was with the red clay so it looked tan. Ashley helped us with the glazing. She gave us tips and instructions. They have a ton of different colors. They have a color section that's easier to work well and good with designs. There's also another set of colors that have some details and undertones. I picked four colors and hoped for the best. It's interesting because the more special glaze are all shades of gray, even when you paint it on. It's really is trusting the process. They put our pottery on the rack and told us it would be ready for pick up in 2-3 weeks. I'm hoping the pick up this time goes better! This glazing experience went well and I appreciate, Jennifer, the owner, reaching out personally and offering the studio credit.

No one from the store even asked a question first, they just called the cops. The officers searched us and found nothing. Westminster Art Supply is still lying that we stole even though we have video of the entire interaction and the cops stating we clearly didn't steal. A blonde woman, (Rebecca?) stood by, giddily watching, clearly hoping to see a Black woman harassed and roughed up by the police. Maybe it was me enjoying my day with my partner or maybe it was my Blackness that offended them. Black people do not exist to confirm your bias and racism. You do not get to assume every Black person is a thief and a criminal. That kind of behavior costs people their lives. Westminster Art Supply Warehouse is unprofessional, racist, and reckless. Do not give them a single dollar. As long as they keep lying and censoring the truth about what happened, we will keep telling this story.
