Holiday Magic Has Returned to South Coast Plaza! I was so excited to hear The Wrapper II opened for the season on October 3rd--it's one of my favorite holiday traditions! This charming, elegant seasonal store never disappoints, and this year's location on Level 1 in the Bloomingdale's Wing. The Wrapper truly is a one-stop shop for everything festive and fabulous. From gorgeous gift wraps and executive gifts to stunning holiday décor and fine wines, there's always something new and unique to discover. Whether you're shopping for someone special or just want to elevate your holiday presentation, this is the place to go. Today, I had the pleasure of visiting the store and being personally assisted by Allison, the lovely store owner. She helped me wrap some business promotional gifts for the Lake Forest Chamber events to market my business, and as always, her eye for detail and creativity were on point. The store's festive energy and beautifully curated displays instantly put me in the holiday spirit! Of course, I couldn't leave without making a purchase myself--picked up a stunning elegant Deer with LED lights that's going to be the centerpiece of my décor this year. This place has been around every year in south coast plaza and totally transforms you to the north pole. The staff is friendly, the store has a wide selection of items that will put you in the holiday spirit. They have tons of gifts, ornaments, decor gift wrapping and more. They will also do custom wrpaping for you if you need (it is not complimentary though). read more

I was just in there a few minutes ago. I was greeted by a lovely, wonderful elder lady who was so helpful as she always is every year and remembered my mom and I. However that nice experience was shortly lived by another employee. She had a light green shirt on with short sandy blonde hair. First very rudely she told me she needed to get by me while I was looking in the back by the pet ornaments. Then I was looking at the ornaments by the golf tree not knowing the register was right there because I was buys looking and I am vision impaired. Once again she rudely tells me that I "can't be back here. This is the register." Like I knew. There are other ways of letting one know instead of being so unkind. She should learn how to be nice and what customer service is from her fellow employee. I was going to buy a few things, but after being treated that way I told my mom "let's go." Sadly I will not be back. read more

This was my first time in this store and I was blown away. The store was a visual Christmas feast with lots of beautiful options. The pricing was on par with other retail Christmas stores and the selection great. The staff was extremely helpful and attentive. I was with a friend who needed several gifts wrapped for Christmas and they came out beautiful. I walked out of there with 3 Nutcrackers small, medium and large. I will be going back for a couple of additional items and the store owner is trying to track down a couple of item for me. I highly recommend stopping in and checking out the selection ASAP. read more

Walked over to the mall to kill some time before a show at the Performing Arts Center and was surprised to see they were already open! Then I realized we were about 1/2 way through October. They have beautiful high end Christmas decorations so know going in you're not going to find $1.99 ornaments. The employee that greeted us was very nice without being overly pushy. She simply made herself available for questions. If you're nearby, stop in a browse. If anything, you might get some decorating ideas. read more

Love this place so much! think I went to this place every weekend before Christmas (just kept adding to my tree)!These are quality ,high end ornaments that look absolutely beautiful .I have always been treated with respect and kindness and the older lady there (forgot her name) and the owner are extra attentive ,but everyone is nice and sweet .Went today and got some beautiful Christmas stalkings on sale and I feel like my heart is full :),so happy Happy Holidays ,The Wrapper ,can't wait to see you next year !!!! read more

A weird experience today and I bet both me and this store did not like each other. I was looking at one of their shelves and a pack of jam fell off. To my honest, I did not touch it at all and I was scared since it is a bit off that noone touch it but it fell. Well the staff probably think i touched it earlier. So they followed me all the time after that. Ohhhh. If there was camera in the store. Anyhow, I don't bother, i did not broke it so yeah don't make me feel like I have to pay for it. read more

If I could I would give this place a zero I would , was actually shopping around to give a group of coworkers a gift , since the decoration look so nice I asked my friend to take me a Picture next a to a tree and an older lady late 70's seem to have gotten bother and told us this is not a photograph place , I don't know if it because I'm Hispanic but her comment felt inappropriate. read more

DO NOT go in here when two older ladies are working!! They were SO RUDE!!! I LOVE Christmas and I walked in here really starting to feel the Christmas spirit but that was shot down immediately! I'm sorry but if you don't like Christmas or are not in the Christmas spirit don't work at a Christmas store and don't be a Scrooge! The only good customer service I received was from a young gentlemen I would go to Harry and David in the south coast plaza mall they were super sweet and had amazing gift ideas!!!! read more

The Wrapper is the most beautiful Christmas store I have ever been in. My favorite item in the store is their wreaths. The greenery is very full, and they put lots of decorations on them. The wreaths are made in the store by Helene. I kept going back to The Wrapper to look at the wreaths. Bethany, who also works there, suggested working with Helene in designing a wreath. I've had that wreath for 2 years, and it is still as beautiful as the day I bought it. The Wrapper is a fun place to go to look for Christmas decorations and gifts. If you are looking for some high quality and top of the line Christmas ornaments, stockings, food baskets, decorative items for the holidays, this is the place. This year, I have my eye on one of their beaded ginger bread man stocking that costs $95. I hope it will be 50% or more off for the after Christmas sale. Their ornaments are beautiful but expensive, around $30 to $50 each! It is a good place to ooh and aah and see what the rich uses to decorate their homes I guess. I enjoy coming here every year just to look. The staff is always friendly,helpful and personable, whether you are dressed like the rich and famous or not. read more

The woman who worked there today was incredibly rude. She didn't want us inside the store taking pictures with our daughter. Shocking considering Santa was right outside the store with tons of kids and families around taking photos. My daughter is very well behaved so i am in awe that we could not stay in the store even when we stopped taking pictures. I wont return and suggest others avoid it. I think they need to hire someone more personable and professional. What a buzz kill! read more
